Pure projection! This from the expert on taking control of ballot boxes and disrupt elections:
Pritzker, Newsom Warn Trump May Use Military to Disrupt Elections
The Left always accuses us of doing what they plan to do or already have done.
In other news about the jolly white toilet stain we learn Pitsstain is bragging about having spies inside the administration. This may or may not be true (probably not; just an excuse to claim he has hidden knowledge to attack President Trump) it only shows how weak his position is, that he has to spy on his political opponent because he can't beat him with facts or logic.

Carney's Ukraine visit: Canada could send ground troops - The Hill
Somehow I don't think Canada will enjoy facing Russian troops.
And if Russia should kill some of these hostiles? It will be considered an attack on a NATO member state and trigger the war clause. It shouldn't but it probably will.
This is a major escalation and Carney is a moron who may trigger the Big One.
Canada will be joining the U.K, France and Germany in sending troops into the war-ravaged country (an act of war).

Asheville North Carolina's plot to fund the race grievance industry via "reparations" and discriminate against all other races is exposed in an article at Revolver.
FTA:
Buckle up, folks; you’re not going to believe what Asheville, NC, is about to roll out.
Matt Van Swol:
We have a serious problem here in Asheville NC. The county is about to spend $2.9 million in taxpayer funds on racial reparations. I took a deep dive into the 170 page report, and what I found is terrifying. Buckle up, because you’re not gonna believe this.
First up is a "race-targeted housing policy” The plan explicitly calls to "sustain and expand rates of Black homeownership” with "targeted funding” ONLY for the Black populations over three years. Literally a program that allocate benefits by race-ALONE! A clear violation of the 14th amendment, in writing. If you’re a poor white, latino, asian… or any other race, but black… Tough luck. You don’t get the money.
You thought that was bad? Just wait… look at what they want to do for healthcare. One of the recommendations includes a free transportation service ONLY for "expectant Black mothers.” Expectant white, latino, or asian mommas? This money isn’t for you, but you pay for it!
The report is furious that only 14% of total Community Development Block Grants were award to black led non profits… …when less than 10% of the population of Asheville NC is black To eliminate the disparity, the report recommends a "Black Chamber of Commerce” Could you imagine calling for the establishment of a "White Chamber of Commerce”? No, you couldn’t. Furthermore, government entities will support them through procurement and grant funding.
What about hiring? Well, there’s a brand new policy! It is called: "The No Diverse Finalist Policy” TLDR: If there are no diverse candidates, the chair must justify this to HR. This is a real policy they want implemented.
You thought DEI went away? Guess again. If you’re a manager at the City of Asheville, they want you to take a MANDATORY, can’t-get-out-of-it, DEI training course.
Want to be a police officer in Buncombe County? Well. you’ve got to take implicit bias awareness training. Refuse? You’re fired.
You thought it just had to do with adults? No. They want to create direct incentives to treat students differently by race, including tying it to school funding. It explicitly calls for school funding to be linked to "racial equity metrics…” This is insanity.
Then… finally, they just say the quiet part out loud. A shocking admission that all they really want, is more control. By having more control over funding, the Buncombe County government can implement policies…. to promote equity. There it is. The truth.
The Left is ever on the attack, ever moving forward even when they are losing. It is this indefatigable characteristic, this ability to wear out the opposition, that makes them succeed. Leftistsare like cats; you can't do anything to them to make them back down.
Now many areas around Asheville are still trying to rebuild from the flood during Biden's Presidency, yet they are going to waste money this way. Then, of course, I'm sure Asheville will seek federal funding for other programs they can't afford to finance.
Lady Justice is depicted as having a blindfold. That includes race in case you missed it.

Crybabies on the bus go wah, wah, waaahhhh!
From NBC Noose:
Some judges believe the Supreme Court, and in particular Chief Justice John Roberts, could be doing more to defend the integrity of their work as President Donald Trump and his allies harshly criticize those who rule against him and as violent threats against judges are on the rise
[...]
"It is inexcusable,” a judge said of the Supreme Court justices. "They don’t have our backs.”
All 12 judges spoke on condition that they not be identifiable, some because it is considered unwise to publicly criticize the justices who ultimately decide whether to uphold their rulings and others because of the risk of threats.
So they want SCOTUS to just rubber stamp their partisan rewriting of laws. And they don't even have the cajones to come out under their own names. Cowards as well as partisan hacks.
You know NBC wouldn't post this if it were conservative judges complaining about the court under Obama or Biden; they would just ignore it or mock it.

Here is a rather interesting piece of speculation. This article argues that sommething in space caused a major drop in the Earth's magnetic field, 41,000 years ago and that helped drive humans into our current civilization - clothes, houses, and suntan oils all were driven by our need to protect ourselves from the incoming radiation.
Perhaps.
FTA:
[...]
The skies some 41,000 years ago may therefore have been both dazzling and dangerous. Recognizing this, we as geophysicists began to wonder how such conditions might have influenced human populations of the time.
From an archaeological perspective, the answer was clear: they were indeed affected.
Human responses to ancient space weather
For people living during this period, the auroras would likely have been the most visible and dramatic consequence, perhaps provoking awe, fear, ritual practices, or other responses that are difficult to trace. The archaeological record rarely preserves direct evidence of such emotional or cognitive reactions.
The physiological consequences of heightened ultraviolet exposure, however, are easier to assess. With the magnetic field weakened, more harmful radiation reached the surface, increasing the risks of sunburn, vision damage, birth defects, and other health concerns.
In response, people may have adopted practical measures: spending more time in caves, producing tailored clothing for better coverage, or applying mineral pigment "sunscreen” made of ochre to their skin. As we describe in our recent paper, the frequency of these behaviors indeed appears to have increased across parts of Europe, where effects of the Laschamps Excursion were pronounced and prolonged.
During this time, both Neanderthals and Homo sapiens inhabited Europe, though their ranges likely overlapped only in certain regions. Archaeological findings indicate that these populations responded differently to environmental pressures, with some relying more heavily on shelter or material culture as forms of protection.
This made me think about the Aquatic Ape theory, which says mankind spent a time back in the water. Humans are uniquely adapted to water in ways no apes could be; we are far less hairy than apes, have longer limbs for aquatic propulsion, have rudimentary webbing between our toes (unlike apes and monkeys which pretty much have feet just like their hands) and have tear ducts allowing us to cry or our eyes to water (better for clearing them after poking one's head up above the water's surface). We also can hold our breath much longer than any ape, especially when in water. We also have much smaller guts and much bigger brains, all of which make sense if you assume we spent time back in the water.
The thoery suggests Man may have gone back into the water for a time, perhaps not as much as hippos, but for an extended period. Certainly fish wouldbe a prime source of protein and early Man may have spent a lot of time in the water trying to catch them. We certainly learned to swim over a hundred thousand years ago (something apes don't do).
The theory suggests Man may have gone back into the water about 130,000 years ago for a short time.
This is well before the 41,000 years when this weakened magnetic field would have driven us into clothes and condos and into our Hawaiian Tropics suntan oils, but I do wonder; if the solar radiation theory is correct then haning out in the water would also be a good way to block radiation. While these are two very differnt times, perhaps there was a similar situation back 130,000 years ago that helped drive Man into the water for a time?
I don't know; I can't find anything about the strength of the magnetic field at that time. But we do know the field collapsed 41,000 years ago, and reversed. This may well have been the impetus for Mankind to start building a civilization. Once you start making clothes and shelters you quickly realize you need more stuff - and you have to stay put; no more wandering about like animals. It's just too hard to drag your stuff around. (Yes, there were nomads but they usually had beasts of burden to carry their stuff and had to learn to domesticate such critters.) So too much sun could well have been the genesis of our proud civilization.
It's interesting to consider how we came about. So much has been a mystery for so long, yet here we are!
BTW our tear ducts may be a response to the higher radiation as well. Apes and other forest-dwelling creatures may not have adapted as well because they were out of the sun most of the time. Look at other plains creatures; cats, for instance, have a second eyelid - the nictitating membrane. Why? To help clear the eyes and block the sun.

This is mildly interesting; researchers using AI have determined that Papua New Guinnea's population is related more to east Asians than to Subsaharan Africans.
Rewriting History: AI Unravels the Hidden Origins of Papua New Guineans
I find this hard to believe; it's not just their color but their facial features and skull shapes look like black folks.
The authors of this study argue that this is a case of neotany, which is the reassertion of genetic traits via epigenetics under certain conditions. Man was already adapted to the hot jungle climate and so the New Guinneans genes just reset.
They are also more closely related to Denisovans than are other human races it seems.
There is the ‘First Out of Africa’ theory which suggests there was a first wave of colonists out of Africa that moved into Oceania (among other places) and that perhaps this was one group of early settlers, who traveled through India and Indochina to reach New Guinnea (along with the Australian Aborigines, who themselvs are quite black but have different facial and body features).
At any rate this study suggests there was no major population mixing that has been speculated for these peoples but that they may have just evolved the way they were or even evolved back to a more tropical form (Subsaharan African).
The article says their population likely droppped considerably after arriving in New Guinnea. I suspect that is so. New Guinnea's forests lack adequate easily-obtained produce. That is because the Island lacks any pollinating insects; plants have tobe pollinated by winds, meaning most fruitwinds up at the tops of tall trees. So foraging produces scant food there. Animal life is more prevalent and hunting is o.k. in New Guinnea but it's still not as good as in other places. And the soild - plus the rainforests - make farming difficult. New Guinneans have subsisted on micro-farms for centuries, and would have died out without agriculture long ago. They mostly grew yams, bananas, and taro, which were native to the highlands of New Guinnea (and by yams I do not mean the sweet potatoes grown in the West and passed off under the name yams. Yams are a completely different species than sweet potatoes; the sweet potato industry adopted the name yams to make their products sound more exotic and thus boost sales. Sweet potatoes are from South America - yams from Africa originally. Yams are tubers while sweet potatoes are part of the root of the plant.)
At any rate New Guinnea has always been a hungry place for mankind and so the New Guinneans have suffered culturally and civilizationally. Cannibalism was practiced until the 20th century and likely still happens today in isolated places.
New Guinnea fascinates me; it's a land that still has paleolithic peoples - not just neolithic, but paleolithic. There are people there who basically live in caves or the simplest brush shelters and scratch out a living with the most primitive of stone implements and with their teeth. I was watching the show Survivorman and he went to New Guinnea. The locals where he did his show actually CHEWED down trees because they lacked axes or hatchets. Their teeth were just nubs after a few years. Most of them died in their late 20s and early 30's.
And remember New Guinnea was home to Koru, the laughing sickness. It was caused by mortuary cannibalism, the practice of eating your dead loved ones. A prion in the flesh infected the cannibal and attacked the brainstem, leading to tremors, disorientation, and the laughing which gives it it's nickname. Nobody who does not eat human flesh develops Koru. So they've been eating other people there for a long, long time; long enough for a disease to evolve that took advantage of the fact.
At any rate I may be the only one to find this interesting but there you have it.

Gee;I thought it was hotter than at any time since the Cretaceous! That's what the global warming crowd would have us believe anyway.
75,000-Year-Old Lost World of Arctic Animals Uncovered in Norwegian Cave
Why were all these critters flourishing in the cold, cold depths of the Norwegian Arctic 75,000 years ago if it was so much cooler then than now?
This was, of course, the Ice Age and thus should have been much colder than our current Holocene warming period, right?
The article says this was during a warming period but fails to make the obvious connection; these critters were FLOURISHING in the warm weather. Why did many of them become extinct? Because IT GOT COLD AGAIN! Warm weather is good for almost all life.
Also, how did it get warm in the first place, what with there being a complete dearth of automobiles or coal plants or whatnot? It just warmed up; imagine that! No exhaust fumes, no industrial emissions,no human or cattle flatulence, none of it!
Were Neanderthals and Davisovans running their Fred Flintstone cars on petroleum back then? Shoot; it would be easy to get, so close to the original formation of the oil and all!
Tthe Pleistocene was winding down at this point and the warming planet was becoming more hospitable to life in general and humans in particular.
Yes, there was the late Pleistocene Quaternary Megafauna Extinction as the planet's climate shifted from Ice Age to the warming Holocene, but that was to be expected; so many species had adapted to the cooler climate after all. It's nature's way of continuing life in an unstable environment. (There are very few species that still existe after major geological changes; crocodiles are one example, and they have lived through the worst ice ages despite being warm-weather beasts.) But overall a warming tend leads to greater greening of the planet, and where plants flourish so do animals. Not always the same animals granted. Our ancestors have flourished through ice ages and warming periods and no doubt will continue as the climate changes, as it inevitably will. The Earth does not have a homeostatic environment. Homeosttasis is an illusion that the Gang Green keeps fostering to allow it to regulate every aspect of life.

It is once again the Department of War and not the milquetoast "Department of Defense".
I am mindful of the Peter Sellers classic "Dr. Strangelove" where the U.S. army is storming an Americcan airbase to capture Gen. Ripper, the guy who sent the attack orders to strike the Soviet Union. There is fighting in front of a big sing that says "Peace is our profession". Peace isn't and never was. As Rush Limbaugh used to say, the military is there to smash things and kill people. That is it's primary function.
So let us call a spade a spade. Confucious once stated that no nation can be restored until you first "true the language". He was right (and an awfully wordy guy). Without precision of language we lose sight of what it is we are trying to accomplish - and lose sight of who and what we are. That is why the Left is always monkeying with words, changing pronunciations and redefining terms (like using "gay" for homosexual). They seek to change the way we think by changing the meaning of language. We can only restore America is we first restore the language we use. Trump is trying to do that here.
Granted, he'll ultimately need Congress to change this name, but he can still start the process by making his Administration use "Department of War" now. After a while it will be a fait-accompli and Congress will wind up going along.
It's a good thing. We have a President who understands the value of returning to the old ways of doing things.
Oh, and the more belligerant "Department of War" gives the military a sense of what it is they are actually there to do. Now they think the military is a social experiment laboratory. Defense becomes "fighting climate change" or "fighting for civil rights" and is not about the actual job of the military, which is to smash things and kill people.
That's why we've lost most of the wars since the name change; we don't think like warriors at the DOD. Maybe we will at the DOW.

A Federal appeals court has blocked a lower court's order to close Alligator Alcatraz, the prison camp for illegal alien criminals in the Florida swamps.
In a 2-1 ruling, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 11th Circuit in Atlanta issued the stay on the lower court's ruling, which clearly went beyond the jurisdiction of that court. US District Judge Kathleen Williams had issued the original ruling based on environmental concerns and a lawsuit by environmental groups and Indians (mainly the Miccosukee Tribe).
Judge Williams was put on the , U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida by Barack Hussein Obama (Peace be upon Him).
Alligator Alcatraz was built in the Florida Everglades, a huge swamp full of dangerous wildlife - like alligators and snakes of all sorts (including Burmese Pythons) and quicksand and a host of other perils to keep the prisoners from escaping. It is a detention center for violent and dangerous illegal aliens, not regular aliens who came without permission slips.
The state of florida operates Alligator Alcatraz, not the Federal government. The facility is just 39 square acres and was built on the site of an old airport - Dade-Collier Training and Transition Airport - which occupied a total of 39 square miles of swampland. The Everglades take up 7,800 square miles of Florida real estate. Somehow I doubt this postage-stamp prison is going to have any sort of environmental impact that wasn't already there from the closed airport.
The plaintiffs in the case used several environental laws to challenge the legality of the facility. According to ABC News:
To pursue a NEPA claim, the plaintiffs relied on another federal law that allows review of "final agency actions" -- actions taken by the federal government at the end of an agency's decision-making process.
But the state and not the feds were the ones making this decision about land owned by the state. Dade-Collier Training and Transition Airport is owned by Miami-Dade county and not the federal government. All environmental laws cited by the plaintiffs in this case apply to the feds and not state or local governments.
Reember, it was already a developed property.
So this Obama judge had no legal leg to stand on and the appelate court spanked her fairly hard, I'm given to understand, in their opinion (which was still just 2 to 1 as there are always Democrats on any court). Alligator Alcatraz will remain opern for business. And that is a very good thing because these are the worst of the worst being sent there. Their stay as guests of the state should not be overly pleasant or easily ended. Like Hotel California, they should be free to check out any time they like but they can never leave there.
Maybe this judge should put her money where her big mouth is and move to the lovely wetlands of south Florida herself....
Judges Elizabeth Branch and Barbara Lagoa, the two appelate court judges who voted to stay the lower court order, were both Trump appointees. This shows the absolutely critical nature of keeping leftists off the courts. Any idiot who thought Trump sucked enough to support Joe Biden in the election is an utter fool; the courts alone was worth the price of admission.

FDA Recall: Radioactive Shrimp May Be in Your Fridge
Given that shrimp's primary superpower is the ability to taste good when deep fried and is one of the few things that improves covered with coconut that would be the kind of superpower I'd get from radioactive cuisine.
Well, you can dehydrate some of them and mail them parcel-post; they are called Sea Monkeys. I suppose that would be a useful crime-fighting technique in some way or another.

Biden and his autopen. Turns out he had no idea what his autopen was signing and there is e-mail proof of that stateement now. Also, the staff used little tricks to hide the fact.
This should nullify all of his pardons. Furthermore, this is a kind of fraud unheard of in our history and the punishment for all his staffers involved needs to be severe. Life in prison, for instance, would not be unduly harsh.
If these staffers were worried Mr. Biden was incompetent and were afraid to come forth with that news then they should have resigned. Instead they simply usurped the role of the President.
It is illegal to impersonate a cop or a soldier yet these clowns impersonated a PRESIDENT.

Redistribution of land is socialism.
‘Stolen Land’: Gavin Newsom’s ‘Agricultural Equity’ Advisers Prepare Plan To Redistribute Farmland to Racial Minorities
For more than two years, the California Agricultural Land Equity Task Force—part of Newsom's Office of Land Use and Climate Innovation—has crafted a set of policy recommendations to "equitably increase agricultural land access." It will deliver a final report to Newsom and the California legislature cementing those recommendations by the end of the year. The task force's latest draft report, published ahead of the task force’s August meeting earlier this month, calls to deploy state resources to give non-white Californians a leg up in acquiring farmland, an effort it portrays as a form of reparations. The report says California should gift large amounts of state-owned lands to Native Americans, adopt indigenous knowledge practices for land management, and provide low-interest loans, downpayment assistance, and grants to fund land acquisition to black farmers.
Those and other policies, according to the task force, will help solve California's "agricultural land equity crisis." Land ownership statistics prove such discrimination exists, according to the report, which laments that "82% of privately held farmland in California is owned by producers who identify as white.
Guess Governor Nuisance has been taking his lead from South Africa. I mean, they have gotten so GOOD at stealing white lands! Who cares if the people who he wants to give the land to can actually work it or make it productive! All that matters is that white guys don't own it!

Tom DeWeese writes about the utter hopelessness of the youths of America and how the Left stole the American Dream.
The Growing Hopelessness of America's Youth
He rightly blames climate fear and collectivism for purposeful policies that are revolutionizing the American social landscape and forcing everyone into high rises.
BTW St. Louis pioneered the highrise housing project and Pruitt Igo was the result. It was as close to Hell on Earth as you can get, and was torn down just about a decade after being built, a complete blight on the landscape.
Also, there is this:
This made me think of Dr. Zhivago where the Party took away his home and put a bunch of scumbums in there rooming with them. They were "lucky" because the whole family got one single room upstairs! Yeah; that's what we need for America!
Tom rightly points out that inflation and high taxes are the core tactic employed by the leftists and government to implement Agenda 21, which calls for these high rise, higher population density domiciles. Inflation has been a tool to steal wealth from the productive for generations now. And taxes make home ownership problematic.
The claim will be that it's cheaper to rent than own anyway and so everything will even out, but that won't happen when everyone is renting; it just drives up the rents past mortgage levels. This is a squeeze play designed to ultimately force everyone into government housing - cattle pens where government can control you and your movements. Then when you get an electric vehicle which can only go forty miles or so they own you.
This isn't about the environment. That is just the pretext. It's about power and control and about breaking the psychology of Americans so they can impose their own dreams upon us. Our young people don't really even know what it means to be an American anymore and so won't fight to defend her. That was by design.
Do read the whole essay.

8 Million HHS Pages Prove CDC Deliberately Hid Myocarditis Signal. They Lied, Censored, & Attacked VAERS
My committee has obtained over 8 million pages from HHS, and the evidence is damning. We have proof the CDC knew about the myocarditis signal and deliberately hid it from the public and doctors. This is a catastrophic breach of trust.
This is a Gordian Knot we are untangling these days but it is coming untangled nonetheless. Heads need to roll.

Why are European nations planning to send troops into Ukraine immediately after a cease-fire? That is a huge provocation and would scuttle any peace negotiations between Russia and Ukraine.
Are They Setting the Stage for NATO to Officially Enter the War with Russia?
The author of this piece is correct; Russia will never acquiesce to NATO forces in Ukraine and most especially German trooops. Russia has been invaded by both Napoleon and Hitler, and the Teutonic Knights invaded when the Russians called for help against the Mongols (and the Russians repelled them in the famous "Battle on the Ice" when Prince Alexander wiped out the Germanic invaders on the frozen Neva river, giving him the name Alexander Nevsky). They fear any Western troops on their border, most especially Germans. That is why Putin is trying to get Ukraine back in the first place; he wants a buffer between Russia and NATO and the Ukrainians kept trying to join NATO and maybe the E.U. to boot. And while NATO gave verbal promises not to expand into the Warsaw Pact we not only did but expanded into former Soviet republics as well and that is akin to the Warsaw Pact expanding in to, say, California or Texas. Unacceptable to the old timers, certainly, and frightening to the young. They see this as an existential threat.
The Ukraine (which means "by the border" or borderland) was one of the "Russias" along with Belorus (White Russia) and Great Russia. They were all just Russians once but the Golden Horde split Belarus and Ukraine off from the main part of Russia to use as a no-man-s land, a buffer between their territory and the West. The nations divided at that point. But Putin and the other Russians see no difference, or little, between themselves and the Ukrainians. The linguistic difference between Russian and Ukrainian is slight, more like different dialects than languages (Ukrainian is a different language but not by much.)
so Western troops in Ukraine is a wholly unacceptable prospect to the Russians. It could trigger a world war, and since Putin is running out of manpower that war might see the tactical use of nuclear weapons. Tactical nukes could quickly turn to the Big One.
(More and more the geopolitical alignment appears to resemble the Book of Revelations, as well as Ezekial and the other Old Testament apocalyptic books. Most of the pieces are in place now.)
At any rate the Europeans are attempting to thwart any efforts at peacemaking for reasons that remain unclear. They have an agenda. I suspect they believe they can bleed Russia dry and force it into their crazy internationalist order and with Russia out of the way they will be the big power block in Europe. It is a desire to rebuild the Roman Empire, methinks, or at least to rebuild the Roman sphere of influence.
Emmanuel Macron, that Frog Euroweenie, appears to be spearheading this drive to send in a coalition of forces. I've never trusted Macron.
The utter contempt for Moscow shows through in this comment from a bigwig at NATO:
fin
What NATO has demanded all along is not a peace settlement but an unconditional surrender by Moscow, something they aren't going to get. This is about the very survival of Russia as a country and they know it. So does Putin, who will not only preside over the end of the Russian Federation if he agrees to this but will wind up quite righteously dead after the coup that takes him out.
The idiots in Europe are playing with fire. But then most bad ideas have come out of Europe since the 19th century when Europe began rejecting Christianity.
Here is another interesting point; European hospitals are being told to be prepared to treat large numbers of soldiers by March of next year. Sure sounds like the Europeans are ready to roll here! You would think after two World Wars they would ahve learned their lessons about playing soldier but apparently not.
This thing is a powder-keg. Just one big spark....

Yeah; Zelensky is really the guy defending democracy!
Ukraine Moves to Ban Orthodox Church
Yes, Zelensky is seeking to dissolve the largest Christian denomination in the country out of alleged ties to Moscow. He has gone to the courts to formally liquidate the entire faith.
In August 2024 Zelensky got a law passed that ordered individual parishes to sever any and all ties with Moscow and the Patriarch there, and non-compliance could lead as far as arrest and asset forfeiture. Now he's coming for the whole church.
A whopping 52% of all Ukrainians are members of the UOC. This is an act of a tyrant.
Accoridng to a report by RT last month, the country’s State Service for Ethnopolitics and Freedom of Conscience declared Ukraine’s largest Christian denomination an entity linked to Russia. While I would take RT with a huge grain of salt it seems fairly obvious this was the case as the law now reflects this belief about the UOC.
Viktor Yelensky, former member of the Ukrainian parliament and religious adviser to President Zelensky said the government filed a series of lawsuits against the church, which filed counter suits against the government. So now the government is simply dissolving the church.
Back in July Zelensky stripped away the citizenship of the Orthodox Metropolitan Onufriy(Orest Volodymyrovych) for his alleged ties to Moscow and supposed Russian dual citizenship.
Article 35 of the Ukrainian constitution specifically acknowleges freedom of religion:
"Everyone shall have the right to freedom of personal philosophy and religion."
This isn't as broad perhaps as the right acknowleded in the U.S. Constitution, particularly with the weasel words about "personal philosophy" which I might add was what the Soviet constitution had in it too, but it still strongly suggests government has no right to tamper with a whole church. Unless they have smoking gun proof of a conspiracy between the Orthodox Church and Putin they have no right to take such action.
But many things get forgotten in wartime and dictators often abuse their power in the name of the "national emergency". Zelensky has abused his power repeatedly, suspending elections, closing media outlets and arresting journalists, etc.
But they have an alternative! The Orthodox Church of Ukraine, founded by former president Petro Poroshenko, is the new church the Zelensky regime is favoring. Much like Henry VIII the government just founded it's own church and is now taking steps to force everyone into it.

He can't do it; being trans is not officially amental disorder anymore and the Second Amendment guarantees them the right to bear arms as much as any other American.
BREAKING: Trump DOJ Deliberates Over Gun Ban For Transgenders
This is a terrible idea that will likely get struck down. On the other hand Trump may well have no intention of actually issuing the ban - just using it to further fracture the Democrats. Imagine how David Hogg will feel about this!
Still, I hate to stop making the argument for the sanctity of the right to bear arms; if you ever give an inch to the Left they will take a mile.
But it will be fun watching the Democrats twist and squirm on this issue.
