James has reportedly allowed her grandniece Nakia Thompson - along with Thompson's three children - to live in the three-bedroom property in Norfolk since 2020.
Now, in an embarrassing twist for Donald Trump's nemesis, Daily Mail has discovered that Thompson is officially listed as an 'absconder' who is being sought by authorities in North Carolina for failing to finish her probation.
'Ms Thompson was sentenced to probation for misdemeanor convictions for assault and battery and trespassing, and has willfully avoided probation supervision,' Keith Acree, communications director for the North Carolina Department of Corrections told Daily Mail.
'An absconder is considered a fugitive,' Acree added. 'Thompson faces arrest if she is located in North Carolina.' He said her crimes of assault and trespass are considered 'non-extraditable' due to their low level.
The 36-year-old told a grand jury in June that she had been living rent-free at James's home – now valued at $235,000 – since the Attorney General bought it, claiming that James pays for even basic upkeep, the New York Times reported.
James was indicted by a federal grand jury in Virginia on charges of bank fraud and making a false statement to a financial institution in regard to securing a mortgage for the home. James has denied any misconduct.
Exclusive Daily Mail photos show Halloween decorations on display and buckets from the home improvement store Lowe's on the porch of the house, suggesting it has been recently spruced up.

This-is-what-I've-been-saying-for-a-long-time-now.
The Myth Of Falling Crime: Why Americans Don't Trust The Numbers
FTA:
Charts are waved, statistics cited, and carefully crafted talking points deployed to assure anxious citizens that their streets are safer than ever.
Yet when you leave the press conference and walk the sidewalks of Baltimore, Chicago, or Los Angeles, the reality feels far different.
The gap between official numbers and lived experience is wide enough to swallow public trust whole.
The reason for this disconnect is simple: Most crime never gets reported in the first place.
The Baltimore Sun recently highlighted what criminologists have known for decades—about half of all crime in America isn’t captured in police data. Burglaries are only reported 45 percent of the time. Simple assaults, 37 percent. Sexual assaults, a shameful 21 percent. Think about that for a moment: Nearly four out of five sexual assaults never reach the official record. Yet politicians still spin a story that safety is improving.
Why aren’t Americans calling the cops? For many, it’s because they believe the system won’t deliver justice. Victims of property crimes often assume police won’t recover stolen items. Domestic violence survivors fear financial ruin if their abuser is arrested. Immigrants worry that calling 911 might lead to a knock on the door from Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE). In cities like Baltimore, there is a deeply rooted stigma against "snitching” that makes reporting crimes socially dangerous. And for those who simply distrust the police, staying silent feels safer than engaging.
Here’s the political problem: Declining reported crime becomes the official narrative, but citizens’ fear of crime continues to climb. Gallup recently noted Americans are near record highs in expressing concern about violent crime. This is not paranoia—it’s the rational conclusion of people who judge their safety not by government reports but by what they see in their neighborhoods, what they hear from friends, and what they experience personally.

The plaintiffs also argued the Bost campaign is further injured because it has to pay staff for an additional two weeks after the election.
Plaintiffs are represented by the watchdog group Judicial Watch.
Federal law 2 U.S. Code Section 7 states Election Day for federal offices is the Tuesday after the first Monday of November in even-numbered years.

"There are some districts where the Republican registered parties are 98%; Democrats, too,” Justice Sonia Sotomayor noted in her question to the plaintiffs. "Your rule [allowing any candidate to have standing on election law] would say that the candidate who has not just an insubstantial, but a statistically almost impossible chance of winning or losing—that that candidate can come in and seek a change of that rule. Correct?”
Paul Clement, representing Bost and the electors, said any candidate should have standing in an election law case.
"As to the 2% voter, I’m going to stand with the 2% candidate. I stand in lockstep with the Socialist Workers Party, and however many percentage votes John Anderson got,” Clement said, referring to 1980 independent presidential candidate John Anderson.
Sotomayor replied, "Those are strange bedfellows you’re taking.”

We-all-knew-it.
Anderson Cooper Admits Letitia James Had It Out For Trump
She-campagned-on-"getting-Trump"-did-she-not?
FTA:
CNN host Anderson Cooper stated on Thursday that Democratic New York Attorney General Letitia James had always planned to politically target President Donald Trump.
A federal grand jury indicted James on Thursday on allegations of bank fraud and making false statements to a financial institution regarding a mortgage application for a property in Norfolk, Virginia. In response to the indictment, Cooper said on "Anderson Cooper 360” that James vowed to "sue” Trump after she had been elected in 2018.
"Jeff [Toobin], I mean, according to PolitiFact, the day after she was elected in 2018, Letitia James was asked by a community activist if she was gonna sue President Trump. And she said, ‘oh, we’re definitely gonna sue him. We’re gonna be a real pain in the ass. He’s gonna know my name personally.’ I mean, that’s not a great look for somebody who has just been elected, who has just been campaigning and hasn’t even looked, I guess, deeply at any evidence.”
Toobin, who once got caught masturbating during a Zoom call, said that attorneys general and district attorneys are politicians and make political statements. He also suggested that James is facing charges because she made those inappropriate statements about targeting Trump.

Sorry, my computer has lost its space bar.
I just wanted to let you all know that my wife was in the hospital with sepsis and I had to ignore the blog for a time. She's out now but still in a nursing community.
Hopefully I'll be back up if and when the space bar starts working again.
Sorry for the inconvenience.

Congress is finally taking action against California's control of auto emissions in the United States.
Can the Fuel Emissions Freedom Act save America’s auto industry from California?
As of now California sets our national policies in many ways, be it through emissions standards or low flow toilets or the ban on incandescent lightbulbs. All of those things came about because America's largest state economy demanded them and passed laws forcing companies to provide these things - and the companies, fearing losing so lucrative a market, agreed to push this stuff in all fifty states.
House Bill H.R. 4117, the Fuel Emissions Freedom Act seeks to repeal federal and state motor vehicle emission and fuel economy standards under the Clean Air Act.
It is likely California will use it's pet courts to block the revision of the law.
California is pushing an insane s environmentalist scheme of zero emission vehicles by 2035. Of course they will cry and whine when their power grid proves inadquate for all those plug in toys they are promoting. That is for the good to them; they will force people to use mass transit, to live close to their jobs in high rise apartments, and to double up so power outages aren't as bad. So typical of leftists, who want power and control.

Here's more on how Europe and canada are moving boldly forward with digital I.D. and "misinformation" control of the content of the internet.
While Americans Sleep, There Is Concern That Canada, the United Kingdom and Europe Continue to Implement "The Beast System”
There are huge fines if you disobey the cutoff order for internet services and the government won't let a company even disclose to the victim why their service was cut off (Facebook used to pull that crap on me.) Disclosing to the victim that it was a government orrder carries stiff penalties.
This is a very, very dangerous situation from the standpoint of liberty. Oh, and calling it the "Beast System" is entirely accurate; Europe and her spawn are hell bent on being hell bound.
Read it all.
