No Arctic Sea Ice Trend

Jim Church

There has been no trend in maximum, mean or minimum Arctic sea ice extent over the past seventeen years, and extent this year has been above the 21st century average almost every day.

Trump is Putin's Nightmare

Paul Wilks

For those who believe President Trump was a Putin ally: It’s ironic that liberals scream about Trump being pro-Russia, which he obviously was not when anyone considers his actions against Russian interests, when those same liberals support the socialist policies more common to Russia, Venezuela, Cuba, other Latin American socialist nations, the old Soviet Union and behind the old Iron Curtain. The people promoting Russian interests are those in America currently supporting socialism/communism.
1. Russia was OUT of the Middle East when Obama took office. Russia re-entered and established themselves as a regional power. Obama actually welcomed their intervention regarding Syria’s chemical weapons! It proved disastrous! Trump entered and stopped their advances.
2. Bush promised anti-tank missiles and weapons to Ukraine to oppose Russian aggression. Obama cancelled all arms to Ukraine after Putin threatened Obama that Russia would escalate if America provided weapons. Trump rescinded Obama’s orders and is providing all and more that was promised. Again, Russia’s interests thwarted.
3. Trump increased sanctions against Russia above those instituted by Obama. Congress now may increase them again at this point saying Trump didn’t go far enough. Trump went far further than Obama.
4. NATO nations are dramatically increasing their expenses toward their military commitment, again AGAINST RUSSIA’S INTERESTS. Obama never even brought it up.
5. Obama said the United Kingdom would be at the back of the queue under Brexit thus degrading a key ally both in NATO and thus strengthening Russia. Trump said they’d be at the front of the queue.
6. NATO can only deploy the equivalent of one (1) division of infantry troops to Eastern Europe if needed to stop Russia? Obama did nothing. Under Trump NATO is working to increase that capability, AGAIN AGAINST RUSSIA’S INTERESTS.
7. Obama was warned in 2014 of Russian cyber meddling and KNEW in September before the election of Russia’s actions. Obama did nothing! WHY?
8. During Obama’s last run for office in his debate he said the cold war was over, we had pushed the "reset” button with Russia and made fun of Romney for stating Russia was America’s greatest threat. NOTE: I THINK IRAN AND CHINA ARE GREATER THREATS THAN RUSSIA so I didn’t agree with either of their positions.
9. Trump banned Kaspersky virus protection software from being sold in America again, AGAINST RUSSIAN INTERESTS. Obama knew of Kaspersky's problems and did nothing.
10. Trump increased sanctions against Iran after pulling out of the Iranian Nuke Deal, AGAIN AGAINST RUSSIA’S, and the interests of the global money/power-oriented establishment!
DO ANY OF THESE THINGS MATTER TO LIBERALS or "Never Trump” RINOs? These are Trump’s actions. DEMs, Liberals, Communist/Socialist loving FAKE AMERICANS are calling him a traitor because they believe the way MSM & others are parsing his words. I’ll focus on actions. ARE THOSE ACTIONS PRO-RUSSIA?

Tim adds:

And do not forget oil and gas. Trump promoted American oil and gas production at Russia's expense. Russia's economy is almost entirely built on the production of such fuels, and not only did Trump get the price down worldwide he changed the sources away from Russia. He also had very good relations with the Saudis who helped keep prices stable.

Putin invaded George when oil prices spiked under Bush because they had the money to do it (and the U.S. was building pipelines to cut them out in Georgia). He ended the war when he ran out of money.

He invaded Ukraine at a time when American oil was being crushed under the Biden bootheel (the only thing time Mr. Biden has ever been able to keep his bootheel steady) and Biden's push for "green energy" stemmed for what we now know was Russian intelligence information ops to get the West dependent on Russian energy.

Biden did exactly what Putin wanted with his war on fossil fuels.Trump did exactly what he did NOT want.

And the point about forcing Europe to fund it's own defense was very astute; clearly Russia wants America to be stuck with that chore and thus Europe incapable of stopping him without direct American involvement. Putin's no fool; he knows the American People won't go along with a war in Eastern Europe, and especially not pay for one. It's very much in Russia's interest not to have Europe with a strong military of it's own.

I would also add it is in Russia's interest to bog America's primary Middle Eastern ally down in a protracted war, and to keep Israel and the Arab states separated. Saudi Arabia was about to recognize Israel (the fruits of Trump's policies) and that hurt Russia, which needs chaos in the region so it can stay relevant there and keep the Syrian bases it needs. Peace had been breaking out in the Middle East - something not in Putin's interests at all. So Hamas - an ally of Russias bestie Iran - attacks Israel and the whole thing blows up and all the deals are now off. That never would have happened if Trump had remained in power. If nothing else the funding for this wouldn't have been available; Hamas was flush with cash thanks to the money freed up by Biden for Iran, and his soft-on-terrorism policies let Hamas be well funded.

The fact is Putin wanted Hillary Clinton, and he wants Biden now. The return of Trump would be catastrophic from his perspective and anyone who really looks at the situation would conclude the same. Sadly most Americans will hear the media's sophomoric arguments and believe them. They are even now trying to trot the old "Russian collusion" lie back out.

Putin has to be managed. He's like an infestation of kudzu, or like athlete's foot. You can't really get rid of him but he can be pruned back if you just grab the garden shears every now and then, or the Dr. Schoals. Biden doesn't do that. He allowed Putin to grow all over then wants to take a flame-thrower to him. Totally unnecessary and dangerous.

Hur Unchained

Diane Kimura

Robert Hur resigned from the DOJ this afternoon and will be testifying against Biden before the House Judiciary Committee Tuesday as a private citizen.

Tim adds:

I'm not a lawyer so I can't claim to know, but isn't his testimony as a private citizen immunizing both for him and for the Administration as he now can hide behind the fifth amendment? I strongly suspect that's why he resigned from his office. I may be way wrong on this though. But as he clearly was carrying Biden's water I see no reason to believe he resigned so he could tell the truth. I have little doubt this is astrategic move to avoid testifying despite being compelled.

Power Grab

Diane Kimura

With this change in the law, the estimated 10 million illegal immigrants allowed into the US could upend the power and control in DC adding as many as 13 congressional districts and more representatives in Congress. This and having even 500,000 illegals voting in November could change the course of our country.

466,000 residents of CA alone declined jury duty because they were illegal immigrants but were registered to vote.

Counting illegal immigrants helped Democrats since illegals are mostly in Democrat states, both the House and the Presidential vote are shifted ~5% to the left, which is enough to change the entire balance of power.

This is a major reason why the Biden administration is ushering in record levels of illegals and the Dems have voted overwhelminingl y against the deportation of illegals who commit felonies or Social Security Fraud by making deportations difficult.

76% of Americans believe that we are heading down the wrong path according to Rasmussen.

The Setting Sun

This from Carl Benjamin

The appeal of Britain--of England--is that it was a small and settled place, which was homely and cosy, in which a person could feel truly relaxed and at their ease. That people could trust one another, help one another, and believe the people in power were actually doing their best. This made us a polished gem among the nations.

All that is gone now, of course. What was a delicate social fabric that had been woven together through hundreds of years of closeness and companionship was utterly destroyed in only a few decades by the ravages of mass immigration, Blair's social contractism, and the attempt to instantiate an artificial liberal order oriented towards universal recognition for all groups.

Now, nobody feels at home, everyone feels that they must be on their guard, and Britain is a colder and more depressing place for it.

This was not what was asked for and nobody knows how to fix this mess. The country is despondent, dilapidated, and decomposing, but there is nothing to be done. The answers are out of reach to our mediocre political class and the public realise that it isn't that voting won't work, but there is nobody worth voting for because nobody presents a genuine alternative that doesn't seem like pure evil.

Even if some kind of fascist group came to power, they would be unable to bring back the gentle, loving country that once existed here because their means would be alien to this land and their harsh methods would feel like an invasion. The nostalgia that the right has for the time that existed within our living memories can't be brought back by any of the means at our disposal.

So what is to be done? Not much, it seems, as the turnout to elections would suggest there is a malaise that lies over the people of this country. They realise that things have gotten out of their control and so they give up trying to control anything. Things will get worse because nothing can be done to make them better, so why wouldn't you simply leave and move somewhere else? It is irrational not to do so, but that means giving up on a historical continuity that almost no other country can boast.

I think this is why people in Britain are among the most unhappy in the world, but they just lack the means by which they can articulate the problem.

This was ours, and it was given away by our political class over the last 25 years. This is why people like Lee Anderson say things like "I want my country back." It is gone and they stole it without our consent and have given it away to people we never invited to share it with us. Then, of all things, we are told that it was never ours to begin with and every foreigner on Earth has as much right to it as we did in the first place.

Depression doesn't even begin to describe what I think the British people are feeling at the moment.

Tim adds:

Britain lost EVERYTHING, its world girdling empire, its cozy and warm family relationship, everything. Now it's just a pawn in the great game played by the internationalists. It's dead and all the king's horses and all the king's men won't bring it back. Same here in America. And for what? There is nothing of benefit for any of this. It's just away to beak the great nation-states and then impose an international order. Nothing more nor less.

Short Green Memories

Jim Church

It is frightening how short term the memory is of most climate alarmists. There is documented and photographic evidence that glaciers were in retreat long before the massive use of hydrocarbons but these people seem oblivious to even earth's recent history! This has to be deliberate, and with an agenda.

How to End Illegal Immigration

Roy W. Spencer

Like drugs, as long as there's a demand here in the U.S., illegal immigrants will continue to flow northward. The "demand" is in the form of jobs, and a wide variety of special benefits they would not get in their home countries. If we were serious about greatly slowing the flow, we would stop the benefits and have stiff penalties for anyone employing an immigrant without a green card....China has long-term plans on dominating the world, just as the U.S. has. So, all they have to do is flood our country with enough immigrants to vote the chi-coms into power. Borders matter.

Tim adds:

There are several things that could put a stop to this. Start going after money the aliens send to families overseas. Treat it like drug money and seize it. We have laws on the books for such things now. Another thing we can do is start prosecuting the NGO's and individuals who are organizing and promoting and funding these massive caravans. Right now a host of organizations from the Red Cross to Catholic Charities is down in supporting this mass invasion. If we prosecuted them and maybe pulled ltheir tax-exempt status a lot of this would stop. Most of these aliens couldn't do this on their own.We can squeeze Mexico and Canada economically too to make them deal with the problem on their end. This isn't a hard problem, just one that requires a couple of malae organs that our leftist friends want to remove from the body politic.

NYC Going After Wood Fire Ovens

Timothy Birdnow

Not content with driving all the normal people out of New York City (well, except our editor on hiatus Jack Kemp) the  fascist progressives in power now are targeting that staple of NewYork cuisine - wood oven baked New York style pizza.

Critics rail against NYC crackdown on coal, wood-fired ovens: 'Don't mess with a New Yorker's Pizza or Bagels'
foxbusiness.com

I have a simple solution; stop using sausage and pepperoni and the like and go to more "sustainable" toppings like cockroaches. I mean, the city is crawling with them anyway, so two birds! I would imagine the city fathers excusing the exhausting of carbon dioxide if everyone took to putting bugs on their pizzas.

Liberals are insane.

Ozarkestra

by Timothy Birdnow

3/10/2024

In the darkness of the deep sylvan night
silence as thick as the velvet in a coffin
black shroud that robs my weary eyes of sight
quiet so deep one could hear the drop of a pin

then the gusty breezes blow the craggy trees, the murderous limbs grasping
I sit on my porch by dim yellow lantern light glow,
the whisper of pleas of long lost souls, their groaning and their gasping

They beg to me to tell their tale
to give voice to supplicants long in jail
the wind in the trees makes a low sad thrumbing
the rising warm breeze says a storm is now coming

The overcast night is devoid of stars, darkness congealed and the world is drowning in their gloomy tance
the Ozark hills like a potters field, annoyed at my intrusion into their eternal penance

then far to the east the sky lights in a flash, the air is dead silent despite the angry display
no rumble, boom nor crash, as the skies bleeds its cries
in a moment the glow's gone away.

Again and again the dark spits forth it's anger
momentarily lighting my eyes and my porch
in the dim yellow glow my lanterns rock to and fro
momentarily lit by God's torch

Or is it the Devil? who can tell? It's so bright and so distant
a powerful sight ripping apart the dark night, a bite in my sight, full of wrath and insistent

I marvel at the distant storm as our ancestors may have done
sensing that somehow a warning had come, like the muzzle flashes of a killer's cold gun, seen at the last just before the prey runs

I watch from my porch the distant display
and think to myself that it's so far away
but the flashes grow brighter, it's coming my way
and nothing will stop it or make it delay

There's a storm coming and nothing we can do
will stop it's violent course across the dark world we knew
just like Adam and Even when long ago they first sinned
the light stalks the night and now it reaps the whirlwind

some may escape on a rickety cabin porch, the glow of the torch lighting their isolated cabin in the sod
But it's a terrible thing to fall into the hands of a living and most angry God
and soon the night sky meets the sting of the rod

But storms come for a moment then flee from our sight
they cleanse the dark land, then the morning is bright
who are we to know the mind of He who decides?
we may seek but not find, we're just along for the rides

the storms wash us clean and renew all our hope
they then color the land green, scrub us pink as with soap
the storms and the black will give way to the dawn
all our fears and our pain disappear and are gone

The sprites that dance on a warm March night
for the man on the porch to amuse and delight
May flee for a minute, a day or a year
But sooner or later they return in good cheer.
