Butter Not!

Timothy Birdnow

The FDA forced Costco to recall 80,000 lbs. of butter because the labels did not say it contains milk product.

Well duh!

Anyone wonder why inflation is killing middle America? While it's mostly a monetary problem (too many dollars printed by the Federal Reserve to cover for the trillions of dollars wasted by our government) there is also the costs associated with Biden's war on energy and then there is this - overregulation driving up prices. You can't do this to a company and just expect them to eat the cost.

Trump can't get in soon enough.

The Poll-ar Express

Timothy Birdnow

Turns out the Democrats had internal polling showing a total bloodbath in the last election, predicting Trump would win no fewer than 400 electoral votes in what would have been a complete, devastating landslide.

This comes from Jon Favreau, former Obama speech writer and host of Pod Save America. Seems the internals showed a bloodbath.

That there was no bloodbath suggests that the Democrats probably cheated their way to mediocrity in this election as they are always cheating.

Internals are usually far more accurate than the polls released to the general public and that by design; if nothing else pollsters need to be paid and they do it by selling the good stuff to those who are willing to pay. Why would they give good numbers away to the general public? In fact there is a big DISINCENTIVE to give out good numbers as the people who commission public polls have an agenda and want to use them to manipulate public opinion, not reflect it. Internals are used by the parties to actually see where they are weak and strong and thus tailor their campaigns.

I was confident of a Trump win based on what I was hearing about the internals. I didn't see them; they are not for public consumption. But I did get wind of them and they appeared to greatly favor Trump.

So the Democrats, armed with this knowledge, could concentrate on denying Trump a complete landslide to justify their opposition to his program. And they could concentrate on stealing Senate and House seats. They may yet wrangle the House away from the Republicans, and thus every rotten and vile thing from the Pelosi era comes back - the investigations, the obstruction, the spending, etc. And the Senate will be more watered down than it would otherwise have been, and the Senate really screwd Trump last time. For instance, Mitch McConnell kept it in session so Trump couldn't make recess appointments. That appears to be what will happen again since we don't have the numbers needed to confirm and so Trump will be forced to do recess appointments. Frankly, if that happens Trump should just not even bother appointing anyone but govern using Czars as did Obama.

At any rate this should have been better than it turned out.

Casey and the Brat

Timothy Birdnow

Yes, and he might pull it off too if the GOP doesn't wake up.

WSJ — Marc Elias is trying to steal the Pennsylvania election

FTA:

As we write this midday Sunday, the state still has some 87,000 provisional ballots to count. Provisional means the ballots are in question for one legal reason or another, such as not following proper mail-ballot procedure or perhaps a question about voter registration. Mr. Casey is claiming this means he could still overcome Mr. McCormick’s lead.
That’s highly unlikely. About 30,000 provisional ballots are outstanding from Philadelphia and Allegheny County, both Casey strongholds. The others come from the rest of the state, where Mr. McCormick did better. Mr. Casey has won the 7,700 or so provisional ballots counted so far by about 54%-46%. If that margin prevails for the rest of the provisional counting, there’s no way Mr. Casey can win.
Mr. McCormick’s margin could nonetheless fall below 0.5%, which would trigger an automatic recount under state law. His margin as of Sunday midday was slightly above that.

The article points out Elias has pulled this sort of thing in times past, most notably against Norm Coleman in Minnesota where he stole the Senate seat for Al Franken. Elias will judge-shop and find one who will back him, and since the state supreme court is filled with Democrats they will probably pull it off if it comes to that. Since this is a state matter it is unlikely the Federal courts will get involved.

When are the Republicans going to learn how to counter this kind of thing?

The Seinfeld Campaign

Timothy Birdnow

Well lookie here!

Kamala paid Oprah $1 million cash for endorsement

Harris' campaign was as fake and phoney as it gets. There was zero groundswell for her.

BTW she blew a BILLION DOLLARS trying to become President and failed. (Granted she's an expert at blowing things.)

Now the Democrats are trying to rewrite history, saying she ran a "perfect campaign" and that it was marketing that cost her, as if she didn't spend enough money. She outspent Trump over five to one. And Trump dropped $66 million of his OWN money; Harris used all donations, mostly from dark money sources.

I would ask, how is it a "perfect" campaign to not tell the public what her policies will be? She was like Robert Stack in Airplane "no, that's just what they're expecting us to do" when asked if they should turn on the runway lights. How is giving almost no interviews or very carefully managed interviews "perfect"? She was the Seinfeld of politics; a swhow about nothing.

Glitz and glamour work when all else is equal and during good times, but we are not in good times; we are in dangerous and perilous times. The public wanted a leader, not a celebrity. Buying celebrity endorsements and paying them to entertain the people just to get behinds in the chairs at rallys simply doesn't work when the world turns dark.

Harris might have been able to win during the Clinton era with such tactics but not now.

The Plot to Kill Trump

Timothy Birdnow

The question is, even if it is true and Iran was behind the assassination plot (an act of war that should lead to a U.S. attack on Iran) what did our government know and when did they know it?

Iran Dismisses Accusations It Was Involved In Trump Assassination Plot

Let me give you a little black ops 101; if you want to assassinate a high level figure like Donald Trump you don't do it yourself. You find a proxy, someone who you can then lay blame on. In fact, if you are smart you have several layers to the plot, like an onion. Peel back one and you find another.

So, if I were wanting to do such a deed I would find an amateur to take the shot. That is the easiest way to deflect suspicion "lone crazed gunman". Depending on circumstances I might have a professional sniper assist (as seems likely in the Kennedy assassination) but I would set the amateur up as a patsy, a fall guy. OR I would use foreign actors. The safest way to do this would be to do both; get foreign actor participation to hire an amateur and sit back, the puppet master watching the play unfold.

What makes this look like a black op is the utter, complete failure of security in both assassination attempts. It was as if someone cleared the path for the assassins in both instances.

BTW have we heard a single word from the incarcerated Ryan Routh? Not one peep. No effort by the media to interview him, not even any curiousity by the press. Now why is that?

For starters Routh apparently was a Hamas supporter despite being Jewish. Didn't hear THAT in the corporate media!

And the trail quickly went cold in the Thomas Crooks investigation. And by cold I mean first very hot then very cold; the government took the body and cremated it before the medical examiner was done with the autopsy.

It seems highly likely there is a coverup ongoing. So the question is, what did the FBI/CIA/Secret Service known and when did they know it? The SS let Trump go out twice knowing there was a possible assassination afoot. The FBI only "foiled" an Iranian plot after two attempts on Trump's life. And yet the Biden administration has not so much as filed a protest with the Iranian govenrnment or taken it to the U.N.

Something is amiss here.

Recently a Chinese national was arrested at Mar-a-Lago for trespassing and is now in jail (it was a repeat offense) but he's claiming the Chinese government is trying to assassinate Trump. The man was allegedly trying to give Trump documents proving this assertion. Yet he, like Routh, has simply been "disappeared" into the system. Now why is that?

I submit our intelligence community is plotting the assassination and using foreign actors to facilitate that and keep their hands clean.

We know they ran the attempted bloodless coup on Trump with the fake "Rusian collusion" hoax and other lies. And this is the kind of thing they have done overseas for decades, taking out inconvenient foreign leaders. Now they may well be doing it to our leaders to keep their power.

I don't know but I strongly suspect this is the case and anyone who isn't disturbed by recent events just doesn't pay proper attention.

Schumer Still Hopes to Steal Pa Senate Seat

Timothy Birdnow

Sore loser Sen. Casey, tthe mighty Casey who struck out in P.A., is refusing to concede the election and his deficit is dropping as they continue to count and count and count and "find" new ballots. In the interim Senate Majority Fuehrer Chuckie "doll" Schumer is refusing to allow his replacement into orientation as Schumer still plans to steal the Senate and remain in power.

Yes, the champion of "democracy" who rails against "vote denialism" and for "accepting the results" is refusing to let Dave McCormick join the freshman orientation.

Our government is a good old boys club, and that is most especially true of the Senate, which may as well have a secret handshake. Those let in by the patrician class don't want anyone else coming in, and the fact Mitch McConnell has totally defunded Conservative Senate candidates proves that assertion. What will McConnell have to say about this? Probably not much, unless he is forced to be a public outcry. I rather suspect he wanted to keep Casey in the club with him.

Who is the threat to "democracy"? It's not Donald Trump and MAGA, that's for sure!

Dems New Scheme; Get Biden Out Now

Timothy Birdnow

This is how unserious and, well, just plain dimwitted the Democrats have become.

Former DNC Official Proposes Plan tto Install Kamala Harris as president - Even CNN was Skeptical

Jamal Simmons made the case that Biden should resign now and let Harris take over. Why? So she doesn't have to certify her own loss (she shouldn't have run if she wasn't prepared to do that) and to add "drama' as if the Democrats were not the biggest drama queens in the whole country (they are worse than Miley Cyrus or Lindsay Lohan). That's all we need; more DRAMA!

Makes perfect sense to me; put an unelected person in charge just because it's cool! No worries about the country as this little stunt is being pulled. She wouldn't be the first black/Indian President elected, she would be selected solely because she's black/indian. This would further prove the Democrats are nothing but babies and sore losers and that despite their rhetoric they eschew democracy in favor of their own wants.

I say bring it on! I think that kind of stunt would blow up in their faces and make the Trump victory all the sweeter.

Newsome, CA Double Down

Timothy Birdnow

In the wake of Trump's landslide victory in the Presidential elections the state of California under Gavin Newsome is Slapping a huge tax increase on gasoline just to show they are cheesed off. While tthe Yellow Peril state, er. Golden State didn't go for Trump they DID kick out some radical lefties and passed an anti-crime bill that leaves the Governor and the folks from San Francisco butt-hurt (hard to do with that crowd).

The California Air Resource Board (CARB) voted for a 65c a gallon tax hike on the fuel needed so desperately by the very populous state. No thought is given on what this will do to their economy, or how many folks will be driven out.

Hopefully this will lead to a major revolt by the citizenry and lead to Gavin Nuisance, er, Newsome dropping out of the national spotlight as a potential candidate in '28.

Donations to Ivy League Drop

Timothy Birdnow

Donations to Harvard and Columbia and the other anti-semitic universities have dried up as these universities have moved into the lunatic fringe territory, especially their tolerance of abuse of Jewish students.

This is the only way these places will correct; they must be put under great financial pressure. Given how many Jews attend top universities this should have happened long ago.

The House and Popular Vote

Timothy Birdnow

In the battle for the U.S. House of Representatives the Democrats have picked up no fewer than 16 House seats since the election with the GOP picking up none. The GOP is three seats away from the majority but the Democrats are sweeping the contested seats. Now why do you suppose that is, and why do you suppose it's taken them so long to count?

If the Democrats win the House everything comes back - the investigations, the bogus charges, all of it. And Trump won't be able to get the money or laws he needs to enact his program. Deportations? Forget about them! Rebuild the military Mr. Biden wasted? Not gonna happen. Keeping the tax cuts? Hasta Lavista Baby!

Yes, Mr. Trump will accomplish a lot despite the Democrats, but his program will all be enacted through executive orders - orders that can be rescinded by the next President as Mr. Biden erased Trump's over the last four years (thank you Paul Ryan and Mitch McConnell for that!) If the Democrats control the House they will be able to stymie Trump. That is why they are desperately trying to steal it as we speak - and sadly it looks like the GOP lost focus immediately after Trump won and they may well pull it off.

The Republicans are rank amateurs at politics. It's painful, like watching a rather poor college football team go up against the Kansas City chiefs.

One thing is certain, if we let them steal the House things will look very different than otherwise.

Also, the Democrats are trying to manufacture enough votes to make it appear Harris won the popular vote. That would be huge; it would justify another "RESIST!" action and they could call Trump illigitimate. They have every reason to stuff the boxes now.

We have to stop them.

Sowing and Reaping in the Leftist utopia

Timothy Birdnow

Given all the times they have cancelled our side and denied us free speech, I am not shedding any tears.

Philly clinician reportedly fired for heinous pregnancy comment about Trump supporters on social media

I would ordinarily oppose someone losing their jobs for private speech but she addressed everyone so I suppose she had it coming. She at least needed to be called out for this. Certainly I wouldn't want that woman to be MY healthcare provider!

The aggressors set the rules of engagement. They set it up where WE get fired for OUR views; why shouldn't they lie in the bed they have made?

This woman is a total POS, no question. But I hate the fact that private speech is now being used to take people out of their jobs. But there was a time when we had bounds of civility one didn't cross and that made for a decent, civil society. The Left threw that all away in their anger and their lust for power. They created conditions where someone like this person feels free to say things like this. In fact, this has been encouraged by teachers and administrators and those now in positions of authority. This is the world of the Left, their utopia.

So while I regret having to get people like this canned for free speech, they certainly deserve it. As ye sow so shall ye reap!

Whoopi: Grocers are "Pigs"

Timothy Birdnow

Whoopi Goldberg, the swine who walks like a woman, has the temerity to call grocers "pigs" for high food prices.

Yes, Caryn Elaine Johnson, known professionally as Whoopi Goldberg actually said that on The Pew, er, View.

She shows she is a complete moron. Grocery stores have very low profit margins - averaging 1.6% net profit after taxes according to the Food Industry Association's 2023 report.

Those numbers haven't changed much in decades, although the margins dropped during the pandemic. That is no surprise; they had more loss during the pandemic and at the same time lost considerable business to Amazon and other delivery services.

In fact the profit margins have shrunk in recent years.

Inflation is what has driven the prices up, and that has been caused by the Biden Administration's immense spending. The Federal Reserve had to double the money supply to cover Biden's deficit and that drove the prices up. Couple that with Biden's war on oil - something used by farmers and by truckers - and add to that the Biden Administration's draconian farming regulations and you have a recipe' for food inflation. But the idiot Goldberg blames it on "greed" by grocers!

So genius, when did the grocery industry hold a meeting and agree to all raise prices together? Surely if they are just screwing the public and price goughing we should be able to show where they colluded and how.

I worked for years for a grocer and know how hard it is to make a go of. My company went bankrupt, I might add, and I not only lost my job but my pension too.

Often grocery stores offer "lost leaders", products that are losing money selling just to get people into the store in the hopes they impulse buy profitable products. Sometimes it works, but sometimes it doesn't. But if you are to be competitive in the market you HAVE to run lost leader sales.

Oh, and another thing; most grocery stores are union and pay union scale to their employees. So Whoopi does not take mandatory raises or health benefits into account when looking at prices. The average wage of a worker in a grocery store is now $15an hour, which is up considerably. (I started in at $3 and, when I quit in the late nineties, was making top dollar at $11 as the store's LEAD CO-MANAGER. But then the industry had gone thorough a major correction and no longer paid as well as it had in the seventies.) These are the good union jobs that we have been told by Democrats in days of yore were so vital to the American economy, yet Whooping Cough would happily deprive the companies of any profits and thus cost workers these good jobs.

So Whoopi calls them pigs for not operating at a deficit like the government. To quote Bugs Bunny "what a maroon!"

During the pandemic grocery workers were heroes, risking their health and lives to get us our chow. Now because prices are up and that was a political embarrassment to Kamala and Joe they are "pigs".

The real swine is Whoopi and her Bolshevik buddies.

Lake of Fire

Timothy Birdnow

In Arizona, Kari Lake could still win as she is down just 32,000 votes with 620,000 remaining to be counted.

We need it. The Democrats just squeeked out a victory in Nevada (which makes me wonder about fraud since Trump won the state) and won in Michigan over Mike Rogers. We need a larger majority than we are going to have; a slim majority allows the RiNO wing to control the agenda in the Senate, and they will happily vote with Democrats.

What we need is to get rid of Mitch McConnell, who has lost election after election despite controlling vast sums of money. It's McConnell's RINO support and hatred of MAGA that has cost us the Senate repeatedly, or led to powder-puff majorities.

McConnell is sitting on a huge war chest but did not give Lake one penny of it to take this seat. He also didn't give any money to Ted Cruz, who was in a tight race at the time.

McConnell is stepping down from his leadership role but he isn't retiring so he's going to remain there to meddle. He needs to go  home for good,  but then the good people of Kentucky probably don't want him back. Maybe he can retire to China, where his father-in-law is a Chinese corporate tycoon and Party man...

(The same holds true in the House as Mike Johnson is a weak and vacillating and duplicitous Speaker who should have been gone the first time he betrayed us but has managed to hang on because the Republicans are full of RINO's who wouldn't support a strong leader.)

So say a prayer or 70 on your Rosary for Kari Lake and the great state of Arizona. We need that seat.

Biden Ramps Up Ukraine in Sabotage of Trump Policy

Timothy Birdnow

Ah...now we see what this is about.

Pentagon allows US defense contractors to operate in Ukraine - Reuters

We are going to let our versions of the East India Company plunder the Ukraine and eventually Russia now that the two have been destroyed. Swoop in and make big profits on the graves of dead ukrainians and Russians.

It's the camel's nose in the tent.

FTA:

Previously, the US government banned its contractors from working in Ukraine to conduct repairs and maintenance on equipment provided to the Ukrainian military.

In particular, at the end of August, The Wall Street Journal reported that Washington had refused to send specialists to Ukraine for servicing Western equipment, including F-16 fighter jets.

According to the publication, US intelligence deemed such a move too dangerous.

The American authorities were concerned that Russian forces might target US contractors deployed to Ukraine.

end

So what has changed? If it was too dangerous to do then why isn't it too dangerous to do now?

This is how it began in Vietnam. First it was advisers and technical aid, then we eventually sent soldiers in ourselves. In this case we'll probably take an intermediate step by sending in mercenaries. These "conttractors" will probably include Blackwater and other paramilitary aid.

This story was from November 8 but was undoubtedly written before that. With Trump coming into office things will change. But this is actually the most dangerous time as Mr. Biden would have no problem handing Trump a war with Russia, and at best he is trying to feed the Ukrainians everything he can before leaving office (something he knew was happening regardless). I see Biden getting us in very deep to make it hard for Trump to disentangle us.

And the Russians will see this too, which is why they will probably double down for the next month or so.

America needs to change the way we do the transfer of power. The President should leave office within days of the election, not within months as is the current custom. We did that back then when travel took a lot of time and so the logistics of the turnover were difficult, but with modern technology there is no reason why we can't hand the Presidency off in days. We need to do that to stop the outgoing Administration from sabotaging the incoming as they have done in recent years.

This looks to me like a sabotage.

Vote Count Near 2020 Levels

Timothy Birdnow

Does anyone need proof the election of 2020 was rigged? This may not be smoking gun proof but it certainly is a strong argument in favor of that proposition.

2024 turnout is near the 2020 record. See how each state compares

How can that be? If turnout is near the same shouldn't the results have largely been the same? We were told the Democrats came out in force in '20 as did everyone who hated and despised Trump and it was "People Power" that drove the tyrant from office, yet here we are with near identical turnout only they vote FOR the tyrant?

FTA:

Multiple battleground states are on track to break records. Participation in Wisconsin was a percentage point higher than the high mark set in 2004, when 3 in 4 eligible voters cast their ballots.

In several states, strong early voting, including mail and early in-person voting, set the stage for high overall turnout. Michigan saw more early voting this year than in 2020, when concerns about the coronavirus pandemic pushed many states to loosen requirements for mail voting. Many other states came very close to their 2020 early-voting totals.

end exccerpt.

So how is it that so much enthusiasm was present in both elections yet the Democrats won in 2020? Do note that Trump won the popular vote this time around (and would have won it last time around if we subtract the giant corrupt voting state of California.) Did the Democrats suddenly change their views? Or is it the vote was artificial in the first place (and probably this time as well but we all turned out and made the theft impossible)?

Here is part of the problem:

"Turnout rates are calculated by dividing the number of votes for the presidency by the voting-eligible population."

This assumes the votes cast were from ELIGIBLE voters. We know full well that inelgible voters have voted in the last few elections, and especially in 2020. This skewed the vote in both '20 and '24, but we turned out so many folks they just couldn't overcome it. They had to go easy on the ineligible voters this time because we had eyes on them. So despite a probably major increase in turnout by our side the vote totals come near the same as last time. What that means is last time they simply made up a bunch of votes.

Harris May Wind Up on SCOTUS

Timothy Birdnow

Uuugh....

Kamala Harris may head to Supreme Court after election loss

Apparently there is pressure being exerted on Sonia Sotomayor to retire and allow Biden to appoint Harris to SCOTUS, thus denying Trump a potential appointment.

Harris as a Supreme Court Justice? May as well give a monkey a machine gun (a wonderful line from Better Call Saul).. She is far too stupid to be a Justice - and far too willing to impose her personal views over the law or the Constitution. The woman has neither the temperament nor the intellect to be on America's top court.

The Supreme Court has largely been the one branch of government where actual scholarship and intellect are considered. Not always, certainly; Sotomayor herself isn't the sharpest tool in the shed, and she's a certified genius next to Katanya-Brown. Butt generally it's a place where government ups it's game. Add Harris to the Court and it becomes a ridiculous exercise. She's a radical, for one thing, left of almost everyone in Congress. But worse she's plain stupid. And I doubt she'll be able to sleep her way to the top on SCOTUS.

The fact is Biden can appoint whosoever he likes but in the end the Senate will have to confirm that person and at present Supreme Court Justices still not filibusterable. (This was a Republican rule change but it was payback to the Democrats and Harry Reid for making lower courts unfilibusterable. Sadly the Justices need only win a majority vote, not a supermajority, so it may come down to Harris herself casting the tie-breaking vote to become a permanent fixture and thorn in our side.

I don't see Sotomayor folding to the pressure, frankly, but who knows?

This shows the Democrats haven't learned a blessed thing from their huge loss; they want to force Harris on America despite the fact we rejected her. In their minds they have a right to choose our leaders, we do not.

Granted, it could backfire on them politically but the public will probably forget soon enough. And well be stuck with someone with the intellectual capabilities of Prissy from Gone with the Wind.

The Senate had better be huddling right now to figure out a way to stop this.

Trespasser Says China Tried to Kill Trump

Timothy Birdnow

A Chinese national was arrested for trespassing at Mar-A-Lago in an attempt to see Trump and he claims the assassination attempt on Trump was a Chinese plot.

Zijie Li, a thirty nine year old Chinese citizen, had tried numerous times to invade the President-elect's private sanctum. He is currently in Palm Beach County's detention center held on a hundred thousand dollar bail for trespassing (multiple times).

Now the man may just be trying to save his own skin, but then too perhaps he actually knows something? Certainly President Xi would have reasons to want Mr. Trump dead as Trump will cost China a LOT of money and perhaps break their power.

That so many want Mr. Trump's life shows we are on the right track with him as President; a feckless and unfocused regime such as Joe Biden's is something a dictator like Xi or Putin or the Iranian Mullahs would want in power in the U.S. Harris was the ideal candidate for President by their standards. Trump is, on the other hand, a grave threat.

Don't expect to see this story anywhere in the mainstream media.
