Steve Bannon, freshly released after four months in prison for refusing to honor a Congressional subpeona (much like multiple Demcorats have done, folks such as Eric Holder or Alejandro Mayorkas or James Comey who defied Congressional subpoena's and suffered nary a consequence while Bannon went to prison for Walking While MAGA) is now facing charges from Alvin Bragg and Letitia James in New York over his foundation that was taking donations for a border wall. Apparently a hundred grand was spent on expenses and Bragg is claiming this is fraud because Bannon said all money would go to the construction of the wall.
Steve Bannon blasts 'lawfare' as he faces New York trial after federal prison stint
According to the article:
There was an attempt to charge Bannon with this very same "crime" by Federal prosecutors who dropped the case (much like happened with Donald Trump, whose "hush money" case was dropped as not a crime by Feds.)
Bannon's attorneys asked for a postponement of the trial to allow time for his team to line up experts to rebut the Proseccution's claims of wrongdoing. The judge is considering the motion.
This is nothing but the most onerous forms of lawfare, an attempt to destroy and imprison a political rival. We need to start digging into Ms. James and Mr. Bragg's own dealings; no doubt there are skeletons that can be de-closeted and it's high time we start taking such action. As ye sow so shall ye reap...
Well, we now hold the winning hand and we'll lay our cards down with "read 'em and weep, creep!" Reap this!

The Taliban (tally me banana) is trying to push it's snout into the international relief for "climate change". They sent their little piglet to Azerbaijan to attend the U.N. Climate talks in Baku. And of course he asked for money.
So there you have it; it's always about the Benjamins. Do note it's not about the worthless Afghani, the offical monopoly money of the Taliban.
BTW What does Afghanistan have to offer to reduce carbon dioxide output? They are essentially in the Middle Ages and don't produce greenhouse gases in any meaningful way. I suppose they reduce emissions by making women cower under Burkha's and thus not breath their "unclean" air on everyone, and of course they just kill off the surplus population so as to reduce human emissions.
If this were run on business principles nations like Afghanistan would not have a seat at the table as they are not part of the "problem", a problem that is in fact all hot air. But if they don't produce emissions what right have they to decide on policies that impact other countries that rely on industry that produce emissions? This is rather like letting Afghanistan set educational policies for the rest of the world; they can't teach their own young but can tell us how to teach outs?
We live in an Alice-in-Wonderland world.

This is good news but I want to know who he was working with and if others were involved in this. I strongly suspect this guy was not acting alone.
Man Charged in Leak of Classified Documents About Israeli Military Plans
You know full well this guy was acting in concert with people in the Administration. What we need to find out is who.
FTA:
"A C.I.A. official has been charged with disclosing classified documents that appeared to show Israel’s plans to retaliate against Iran for a missile attack earlier this year, according to court documents and people familiar with the matter.
The official, Asif W. Rahman, was indicted last week in federal court in Virginia with two counts of willful retention and transmission of national defense information. He was arrested by the F.B.I. on Tuesday in Cambodia and brought to federal court in Guam to face charges.
The documents were prepared by the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency, which analyzes images and information collected by U.S. spy satellites. It conducts work in support of clandestine and military operations.
Mr. Rahman, who worked abroad for the C.I.A., was set to appear in Guam on Thursday.
The information in the documents is highly classified and details interpretations of satellite imagery that shed light on a possible strike by Israel on Iran. They began circulating last month on the Telegram app. U.S. officials have previously said that they did not know from where the documents had been taken, and that they were looking for the original source of the leak."
End
So how did this guy get a top secret clearance in the first place?
When I graduated from college I and my fellow Russian classmates (I studied Russian and history in college and had a certificate in Russian Scientific translation, although I fell one class short of getting the Russian degree and the Eastern Area Studies certificate because the professor who taught the philosophy of Mrxism/Leninism was on sabbatical) tried and failed to get jobs with the CIA and NSA. One girl, who had been an Army brat, was denied an NSA job solely because she had a distant cousin in East Germany and her father had been stationed in West Germany. They feared she could be a security risk. (I would add she was a BABE; I should have asked her out!) At any rate most of my classmates were denied such jobs because of niggling reasons that might suggest a security risk. Yet here we have a guy named Asif Rahman, who undoubtedly could be connected to Middle Eastern interests, getting so sensitive a security clearance. And this is nothing new; John Brennan actually voted for the Commmunist Party USA in an electiona nd disclosed that on his security clearance application and wound up becoming head of the CIA!
Times have really changed in our national intelligence.
And now we are going to probably see this guy quickly charged and convicted and disappear into the bowels of the penal system - and perhaps hang himself in his jail cell, or be struck by a bolt of lightning. But I suspect this will be the last we hear of him.
At a minimum he had to have contacts to deal with. You don't just one day decide to committ treason and pick up the phone and call Tehran with an offer. You have to know how to do it, who to call, and how to avoid detection. There are co-conspirators - Iranians at a minimum but I suspect people in the current Administration who wanted to hamstring Israel and thwart a possible attack on Iran by Israel.
My prediction is this story will vanish and so will that noodle Mr. Rahman. We'll probably hear he hanged himself, or was shanked by prisoners. But I imagine that will be covered up. Yes, the incoming Administration may well try to get this out, but I suspect the current crop of conniving convicts we call national security people will act switftly. They can't have this guy spilling his story to Newsmax or The Gateway Pundit.

Rick Scottis out for Majority Leader.
He wasn't good but he beat the heck out of the two other losers contenders.
So we'll wind up with a McConnell clone and the Senate will continue to act as an anchor weighing down the GOP.

Oh rats rear ends!
Vivek Ramaswamy: I won't seek appointment to Vance seat - Yahoo
"Ohio's Vivek Ramaswamy said late Tuesday he would not seek to fill Sen, JD Vance's soon-to-be-vacant U.S. Senate seat.
Ramaswamy's post on X came after President-elect Donald Trump tapped the Evendale native, as well as Elon Musk, to lead a group that will recommend cuts to the federal budget.
"And yes, this means I’m withdrawing myself from consideration for the pending Senate appointment in Ohio,” Ramaswamy posted on X Tuesday. "Whoever Gov. DeWine appoints to JD's seat has some big shoes to fill. I will help them however I can.”
End
Hopefully Trump will have a good cabinet post for Vivek. He has a bright political future if he should care to pursue it. But we sure could have used him in the Senate.

The Department of Health and Human Services spent $38.million per year on DEI. Just wasted that to promote discrimination against white males.
FTA:
The Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) spends tens of millions of dollars annually on diversity-related expenses, according to a new report from the watchdog group Open The Books.
American taxpayers foot a bill of roughly $38.7 million every year to employ 297 staffers conducting diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) work at HHS, with 247 of those federal employees making over $100,000 a year, according to government records analyzed by Open The Books. On top of that, HHS spends $29.4 million per year to keep 209 workers on payroll for its Office of Minority Health, which exists to "improve the health of racial and ethnic minority populations through the development of health policies and programs that will help eliminate health disparities.”
end
But it doesn't stop with medical care for sick folks, no sir!
"One of the programs funded by the Office of Minority Health included a "vaccine equity” program in Atlanta aimed at getting monkeypox vaccine doses to gay black men to help "celebrate diversity and the impact of distinctly Black gay and queer culture on the community,”'
Might I suggest gay black men stop the unhealthy sexual practices that lead to the spread of diseases in the first place. Much of the health problems in the gay community in general stems from contact with fecal matter as the primary pracice of gay men is to utilize the body's primary waste disposal opening as a sexual object. And given a propensity for multiple sex partners and orgies one must suggest that no amount of government lecturing is going to alter the fact that homosexual activity is tremendously unhealthy and just plain gross.
We tell alcoholics to quit drinking. We tell teenagers to not drive extremely fast and not get into drag races. We had banned bare-knuckle boxing (until just recently - it's come back and we will see deaths and brain damage as a result). We tell diabetics not to eat sugar. We tell people not to do dangerous and unhealthy stuff all the time. Yet with homosexuality we are supposed to CELEBRATE it! So a guy shoving his johnson up the rectum of another dude, right into the impacted fecal matter, is somehow grounds for celebration! Or worse his TONGUE.
But political correctness trumps all common sense or wisdom in our modern insane society. And the Left uses our tax dollars to fund this sort of stupidity.

Pelosi Asked How She's Doing Post-Election: "Terrible"
The San Francisco Bleat doesn't know how terrible she's going to feel when she has to make an account of her actions and behavior to the great Judge.
Remember, Pelosi is the one who set up the frame job on Trump over J6. And Pelosi was behind almost every really ugly attack on Trump and on US. People are doing years in jail for sight-seeing in the Capitol and that because of Pelosi.
In a way I do shed a tear; she has wasted all the great gifts given her in life and will reap the punishment reserved for El Diablo and his pals.
She thinks she feels terrible NOW...

Candidates for the GOP Senate Majority top job have agreed to a Trump demand that they allow him to make recess appointments.
When McConnell was running the show he refused to let Trump do that, keeping the Senate technically in session (even on Christmas) to deny Trump his choices, choices the Democrats were blocking.
So now the top candidates all have pledged to allow recess appointments, thus making it possible for Trump to fill these positions without filibusters and other nasty media circus events.
As Trump notes in the article, it took as long as two years for the Senate to confirm some of the positions needing filling and there just isn't time to waste waiting for the political posturing to come to an end.

The rats are now fleeing the good ship Corn Pop as the Deep-staters exodus Washington in droves.
For example, Christopher Wray, the man Trump appointed to head up the FBI and who subsequently led the charge to take his benefactor out, is probably quitting as FBI director and plans to leave town, hoping Trump forgets what he did.
It would be wise; Trump called for Wray to resign back in July for telling Congress he noticed no cognitive decline in Joe Biden, for instance. Trump is likely not to keep him, and may well prosecute him. I hope whoever Trump chooses for Attorney General goes after Wray as well as Merrick Garland.
Trump needs to understand that forgiveness is from God but discipline is from the King and he's got to punish the people who tried to destroy him.
Julius Caesar had a very forgiving policy towards his enemies - and they killed him for it. In hyper-partisan times like then and now you cannot leave an enemy at your back. And many of them like Wray or Garland have been tyrants who framed our side for political power. There must be justice done.

After just three years Chris Wallace is quitting CNN with vague talk of doing a podcast or streaming show.
What does that mean? Wallace, the duplicitous weasel who sandbagged President Trump when Trump debated Biden, has probably quit to avoid being fired.
Wallace was a former Fox host who resigned with claims Fox had gone "too far right" despite the fact they fired half of their conservatives.
Wallace, who only is where he is because his father was the legendary Mike Wallace of Sixty Minutes fame, will hopefully just fade away over time. He never should have been at Fox in the first place.

Who is going to replace J.D. Vance as Senator from ohio? The two top candidates are Jane Timken and Vivek Ramaswamy.I don't know much about Timken except she appears tobe a party insider which will make Ohio Governor Mike DeWine very happy. But we need Vivek, unless Trump has something better for him in the administration.
Timken is "Harvard Educated" according to the article, which always bothers me; anyone from the Ivy League has been trained in all the leftist nonsense, from DEI to Keynsian economics to socialism. To me that is a disqualification, not a resume' enhancer.
Timken is also the chairwoman of the Republicans in the Buckeye State. The Ohio GOP is largely feckless and RiNOin nature as is the current Governor DeWine. But DeWine may be pushed into choosing Ramaswami, a good MAGA Conservative who would have made an excellent V.P. pick, in my opinion.
We don't need another RINO in the Senate. I hope Trump pressured DeWine into appointing Ramaswami.

The guy who broke the window of the Capitol building, the one Ashlii Babbitt climbed through, has been sentenced to EIGHT YEARS in prison, plus 36 months supervised parole, plus $4,484 in restitution. Not sure how a guy locked up eight years comes up with four grand in restitution.
All for breaking a window.
The sad thing is it was a judge appointed by Trump who issued this ridiculously hard sentence. Trump really blew it on some of these and we can thank the Heritage Foundation and other Establishment types for that.
Zachary Jordan Alam was sentenced by District Judge Dabney L. Friedrich in yet another extended sentence for a minor crime. If Alam had been a Democrat he would probably have been released on time served.
Alam's foul deeds include the following:
"Alam spent 30 minutes inside roaming around. On one floor, he tried to kick in a door. On another floor, he threw a red velvet rope from a balcony at police officers below, court documents said."
This CLEARLY warrants extreme measures! I really am surprised the prosecution didn't seekt he death penalty in this case.
BTW Alam's father is a Palestinian immigrant; you'd think Joe Biden would have pardoned him a long time ago for that!
In the last year the Biden Administration ramped up arrests and prosecutions of J6 folks in what is obviously nothing more than an attempted purge of Trump supporters and a way to try to chill Trump rallies and protests. It didn't work. Now it's up to Trump to issue pardons for all these political prisoners.

It's official - pretty much, anyway. Decsion Desk HQ has projected the GOP to retain control of the House of Representatives if only by a few seats.
The GOP has 220 members compared to the Democrats 212. The outstanding races will not flip control at this point.
Now it's time for House Squeeker Mike Johnson to act like a man and start governing like one. No more compromises with the Democrats! But he owes them big time for saving his Speakership during the last Republican insurrection and I fear he knows it. The Democrats were calling him their Speaker. That has to change or he has to go. I prefer the latter.
Now the GOP controls the schedule, controls the way bills are debated, and controls what gets to the floor in the first place. Now they can stop the Democrats from the endless investigations and attempts to remove Trump by hook orby crook. Now they can draw the line on spending. But only if the Squeeker leads instead of follows along with the RiNO's.
Time to grow a pair Mike!

Looks like Trump is picking Mrco Rubio as Secretary of State.
I don't much care for this pick.
First, it takes Rubio out of the Senate, a Senate that has a thin enough margin. After what happened in Alabama after Trump took Jeff Sessions out of the Senate there one has to wonder at the wisdom. Granted, the Republicans probably will hold onto the seat, but maybe not too.
Florida law allows for Ron DeSantis to choose Rubio's replacement until the next election, but it is never a sure thing that who he appoints will work out.
Second, Rubio is a war hawk and always has been, at odds with Trump's policies towards endless international wars. While we need a strong Sec. State to deal with the bullies around the globe we need someone who can actually deal with them and not just sabre-rattle. Rubio has no actual experiencein this regard. As a Senator he goes along by and large with the Majority Leader. He is not experienced in international diplomacy or negotiation. And as Rubio no doubt will believe himself as qualifiedt to make policy as Mr. Trump I fear he could well wind up a loose canon and Trump may wind up firing him.
For instance, Rubio is a huge supporter of the Ukraine war,in opposition to Trump, who believes it a waste of money and lives.
Doubt that? Well, just look at what ABC Newhas to say:
"Several long-serving State Department officials tell ABC News they respect Rubio's extensive foreign policy experience and view him as unlikely to overly politicize the secretary of state role."
End
If "long serving State Department officials" like him watch out! These guys probably know things we do not. They would not like anyone whom they believe will actually implement Trump's agenda.
Rubio voted against the last Ukraine funding bill, but that was primarily because he wanted provisions securing the border in the bill. That brings us to my third objection to Rubio.
Marco Rubio makesa good show of wanting a secure border now, but let us not forget he was part of the "Gang of Six" that pushed an amnesty after having been in the Gang of Eight (along with John McCain) some years back and Rubio did not just support the "Comprehensive" amnestizers but he attacked other Republicans as racists for not being on board. That bill would have opened the border even wider. In other words, Rubio has seemed to find religion only now that it is politically expedient.
Rubio has betrayed us on more than one occasion. And once a cheater always a cheater. I can never trust a guy in politics once he screws us.
Yes, Rubio is Cuban and so Trump will point to a high level cabinet member as a Hispanic (if one calls Cubans Hispanic - something many other Latin Americans do not) but is it worth it?
The whole point of electing Trump was to break the power of the Deep State, of the swamp. Rubio is a member in reasonably good standing of both. He will not be change but rather a reinforcement of the status quo. He may or may not do a good job as Sec. State, but he's not the man to clean house there (and every department in our government needs a major house cleaning). I am frankly disappointed in this pick.

An exellent essay. Here is an excerpt - do read the whole thing.
Anti-Semitism is woven into the fabric of reality.
The Jews of this generation have enjoyed the great luxury of believing that the horrors of anti-Semitism were confined to history. We believed that after the horrors of the Nazi regime, who murdered 6 million of our brothers and sisters, the world would never be fooled again into hating the Jews.
We believed that after such a display of sheer evil and human malevolence, the world finally understood the dangers of succumbing to the seductions of the mob.
We believed that after surviving these horrors, after Western countries everywhere condemned the German Nazis for their sins and after Eichman himself stood trial before the Jerusalem District Court, that we had risen above the fate of our Jewish forefathers.
And here is the tragic truth: it takes only but one pogrom to catapult us back to the reality of our forefathers, squaring us off with the reality that, no, our generation is no exception. The fate of our forefathers is our fate.
How, then, can the 21st-century Western mind, educated against racism's evils and taught that the Nazis were the epitome of such evil - how can such a mind comprehend and, inadvertently, perpetuate anti-Semitism?
Today, modern anti-Semitism masquerades under the label of anti-Zionism. Elie Wiesel aptly noted that "the State's existence is the oxygen of the image and ideas of the new anti-Semitism." The eternal reality of Jew hatred has found a new spin, one that brands Zionist Jews as the new Nazis - an unimaginable insult added to injury that could only have been conjured by the devil himself.
Aligned with the oppressor-oppressed narrative of the progressive Left, the new fashionable anti-Zionism decries Israel as an occupying and apartheid state, dishonestly twisting the facts to afford themselves moral license for their hate.
Within this narrative, Jew haters are further able to maintain their sense of moral righteousness, as they fanatically signal to the world how deeply they care for the Palestinians. It is important to note that these individuals had never so much as shed a tear or wasted a thought on the Palestinians before the massacre of October 7th. To them, Israel’s legacy of building a thriving Western nation amid hostile enemies is twisted into a story of colonization by the White Jewish overlords. By branding the Jews as colonizers and oppressors, the progressive Left has been able to resurrect anti-Semitism while keeping their moral cognitive dissonance at bay.

The crazy feminazis want to cut men off (I suspect they never got any anyway) for electing Trump. Now they are talking about poisoning the men who elected the Orange Man!
From Zero Hedge:
... with some even threatening to adopt pro-life stances as a form of retaliation against men.
Others have made what appears to be terroristic threats, suggesting at the use of strong poison against men because they voted for the evil 'Orange Man.'
Internet searches for Aqua Tofana—a potent poison created in Sicily around 1630 by a woman named Giulia Tofana, or Tofania, and historically used by women to free themselves from relationships by killing men—spiked shortly after the election results
I don't know what's wrong with American women, especially young white women. They are batcrap crazy and getting crazier by the day.
This is what feminism has wrought; a nation of lunatics. They rejected Nature and Nature's God, rejected their roles as women, and then wonder why they are so desperate and unhappy. God made them women; they remade themselves as penisless men and made men into eunuchs and then can't understand why they suffer so. Yet they never question the fundamental assumptions they made and just double down on them. So it's Trump's fault they are miserable, because it MUST be the fault of some MAN! It's not that they are just sour and unpleasant people who cannot live with themselves or their own consciences!
I wrote about this years ago at the old Birdblog; mainly about Maureen Dowd, the Blue Fairie, whose anger and resentment was clearly ruining her life. Dowd invariably doubled down on the poison that was contaminating her mind. She was a typical child of the sixties who was seduced by a lie. Now she can never be free of it; it's a religious belief to her.
The same holds true of so many women these days, especially the younger women who have cut their teeth on the grievance culture.
This is not healthy for anyone, not the women and not anyone associated with them. Poisoning aside, one must look at the misery of the low-T men these women dominate, and of any children born of an ill-begotten union with such a aberrational person. For example, a study done in the '90's showed that 53% of boys with gender dysphoria (transgenderism) had mothers with personality disorders, the kind of disorders we see in the younger white women these days. Is it any wonder the number of "transgendered" seems to be rising? It probably is.
I'm sorry to put it so bluntly but crazy white women are destroying America and the whole Western World, and these white women are crazy because they believed the lie told to them by radicals that women are the same as men only better and that men should behave more like women. It's made the women lose all sanity, and has done no favors for the men in their lives.
In Genesis 1:27 we read, "So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created He him; male and female created He them."
Weare supposed to have different, complementary roles. But women were not satisfied with that. The Book of Genesis foresaw that too:
Genesis 3L16 lays out Eve's curse from God. It mentions the pain of childbirth, but it has a second part often overlooked:
"Your desire shall be contrary to your husband, but he shall rule over you.”
This is a strange punishment and is usually looked on as a "throwaway" but is it? Most people think "desire" means sexual desire, but the fact is women very frequently did not have sexual desire for their husbands back then; they were married by their fathers to men the parents chose. So what is this desire?
I and others believe it is a desire for the ROLE of men, not for their bodies. They will want to be the boss.
Of course women always are the boss when it comes to children and home, and women have always had great power of pursuasion. I am mindful of the movie My Big Fat Greek Wedding where the Greek mother was giving advice to the young engaged girl about handling husbands "the man is the head, but the woman is the neck and she can turn the head any way she wishes."
The reality is women have always had as much power in a family as did the husband, and that has been so since Eve took charge in the Garden of Eden and made Adam eat the fruit of the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil. Adam let her have her way and so he is condemned to always be wrangling with the woman for power. But not all women look at it this way, nor should they. I ask you, is it a privilege to be responsible when you have to hunt dangerous animals to live, or go into coal mines and die of black lung disease or in cave-ins? Women had a pretty sweet deal by and large until the modern era. Most men didn't have great careers or held power in society and their women were probably better off in that regard not living as their husbands were forced to live. It is only an affluent society with easy ways to make a living that make a career appealing to people, especially to women. They wanted in on the "fun" when work has rarely been fun, or even remotely pleasant.
Feminism was promoted bt social revolutionaries. When I was in college I took an anthropology class and the professor - a feminist woman - kept stressing the need for women to work and have careers "you cannot be free if you do not have a career as you will be dependent on a MAN!" But who cares? Does she think men are free by going to work and doing some drudgery day after day for their women?
The fact is most people would retire if they were able - both male and female. But the young girls have been inculcated with a spirit of dissatisfaction and rebellion and adopt feminism as a big FU towards men, often because they were disappointed in love affairs and matters of the heart, sometimes as a way to stick it to their fathers.
But the end result is misery for the gals, and that only makes them all the angrier and they double down on what is ruining their lives in the first place.
You can tell from whence things come by the fruit they produce; a Godly thing brings peace and contentment, something that brings suffering and misery comes from a more diabolical source. Feminism is a doctrine straight out of Hell.
So now they are talking about poisoning the men in their lives - gifts they did not deserve in the first place - out of pique for these men finally growing a pair of danglies and drawing a line. Their journey to the Dark Side is now complete.
BTW Who wants to be in charge anyway? It is an onerous and thankless burden that usually drives the poor person stuck with power crazy and ruins their health and digestion.
That is not to say there aren't competent women, and many SHOULD be in charge over idiot men. We aren't going back to the Victorian era, nor should we wish to. But we have to pull back on this stuff, and admit men and women are different and that we should be happy in the roles given us by Nature and Nature's God. If you are not maybe it is YOU who should change and not the whole stinking world? Certainly you'd be a lot happier accepting what God hath wrought and living in the sunshine of the Divine will.
The lust for power has been the bane of the human existence for all history, going back to Adam and Eve seeking equality with God. And it's not going away any time soon. Even after the return of Jesus as the conqueror we'll have fallen human nature that will have to be governed. The Book of Revelation says there will be a thousand years of peace and prosperity and STILL Mankind will rebel in the end, forcing God to put a final end to this old world.
So if you want to get out of this world drink up on the poison gents! Any man who is with a feminist who would do such a thing already drank the poison long ago. And Eve has been poisoning men ever since the first Sin.
