Joe Biden was speaking at an annual function named in honour of the life and deeds of civil rights campaigner Martin Luther King II. His son Martin Luther King III was co-chairing the event. It happened to be MLK III's wife, Arndrea Waters-King's, 49th birthday.
Joe Biden launched into a truly woeful rendition of the song, 'Happy Birthday'.
Maybe he thought the crowd would join in the singing? Mostly they sat in a stunned and awkward silence. Some clapped in time, but that had little impact because Joe held the microphone close.
It quickly became clear Joe Biden was desperately searching his autocue for Andrea's name. His cringeworthy singing became even shakier. When he got to the name who knows what it was he sang?
It sounded a bit like 'Valder' to me. The YouTube auto-captioning
How was he ever elected?
Tim adds:Makes me think of the movie Cat Ballou where Lee Marvin sings happy birthday at the wake for his employer; he thinks the candles mean it's a birthday (he was in a drunken stupor.)

Wait... if Biden keeps telling us we don't deserve AR-15s because they aren't enough to over throw the U.S. government because we don't also have F-15s.... then... uh.... how could a bunch of unarmed tourists have been mounting an "insurrection" on Jan. 6 2021? Heck, none of them even had a pea shooter, much less a gun!
Tim adds:
Of course our F-15 weapons and the rest didn't seem to work so well against a bunch of neolithic tribesmen in the Himalayas either.
We didn't fare so well in Chaldea. Or Vietnam. Seems to me we've lost a lot of wars with those weapons Biden says we cannot defeat with squirrel guns.
I prefer to take my chances and keep my little varmint hunting toys.

How does this impact the theory of Dark Matter? Dark Matter is predicated on nothing but balancing the books; there appeared to be more gravity in the Universe than matter, so they postulated a bunch of matter that is invisible to us. But this? Clearly it would suggest Dark Matter may be an unnecessary construct.
https://www.universetoday.com/30305/how-many-galaxies-in-the-universe/
At a hundred billion stars per galaxy that comes to a LOT of mass.
Dark Matter is believed to make up 27% of the matter in the Universe. But if it is reduced by a factor of ten then it's a lot less.
I would add that Dark Energy was a way to balance the books too and based on the amount of Dark Matter they theorized. So that would be profoundly effected too. Dark Energy was theorized to explain why the Universe is flying apart despite all the Dark Matter pulling it together.
Both were invented to explain the problems with theory, to balance the books. But do the books need balancing, or is it our pointy little noggins?

2000 Mules are kicking the crap out of the vote thieves, or are starting to anyway.
Guillermina Fuentes Enters Guilty Plea in Yuma County Ballot Harvesting Case
azag.gov
The DNC was paying for three high-powered lawyers out of Phoenix and one local one, but they dropped out after Guillermina Fuentes, the Gadsden Elementary School District Board Member and Ex-Mayor of San Luis, Arizona, took a plea deal and will plead guilty on June 2nd. There are others implicated in the conspiracy, but there is no word yet on whether they will also plead guilty to the charges. The evidence is overwhelming. Fuentes was ready to plead not guilty next week, but the evidence became so airtight, that she decided to deal.
"In December 2020, Fuentes and Alma Juarez, also of San Luis, were both indicted for 1 count each of Ballot Abuse, also known as "ballot harvesting.” In March 2022, Juarez entered a guilty plea to Ballot Abuse."
But, but, but....like no evidence of fraud Dude!Actually I suspect this is to enforce Omerta. If the thief takes the fall and doesn't roll she will be richly rewarded. If not she may meet a terrible fate. Oh, and the media won't report it anyway.

They didn't learn a thing from the subprime mortgage disaster and subsequent "great recession" I guess. Subprimes are terrible investments.
Wells Fargo cutting back on mortgages, will focus on lending to ‘minorities’
nypost.com
Our government is no doubt ultimately behind this. They are reinflating the mortgage bubble that cost us so dearly. I'm frankly surprised it hasn't happened yet, but we can thank heavy real estate investment from overseas (particularly China) and the weakness of the American economy for that, I suppose. But it's going to happen as sure as the sun rises.
Last year home sales fell 35.4% and Wells Fargo wants to get into subprimes? https://www.bankrate.com/real-estate/is-the-housing-market-about-to-crash/

The US CDC, the FDA, their President, Anthony Fauci and any number of influential media commentators told us the Covid-19 vaccines would stop infection and transmission.
Watch this 31 second video if you need a reminder of that vaccine hype. https://youtu.be/xASMUMR2hpA
Australian health officials and politicians repeated the same mantra. On that basis the population was forced to subject themselves to the vaccine or lose their employment and right to participate in society.
More than 97% of Australians over 15 were vaccinated. Shamefully more than 50% of our children also got vaccinated, including under 12's who were never 'mandated'.
Today the vast majority of more than 11.2 million Australians who have tested positive to Covid-19 were infected AFTER more than 90% of the aged 16+ population were vaccinated.
Data produced by NSW Health has shown that the unvaccinated are under-represented in the number of Covid-19 hospitalisations, ICU admissions and deaths as detailed here: https://m.facebook.com/story.php?story_fbid=10227548653874788&id=1017971895&mibextid=Nif5oz
This refutes the claim all the 'experts' pivoted to when it became bleedingly obvious to the public that the Covid-19 vaccines were not reducing the rate of infection or transmission. That claim was that being vaccinated would reduce the seriousness of the disease should you become infected.
It's not surprising that NSW Health announced that as at the end of December 2022, they would no longer be publishing Covid-19 hospitalisations, ICU admissions and deaths by vaccination status. The data wasn't supportive of the official narrative so no doubt pressure was brought to bear on the authorities publishing the inconvenient truths.
Governments around the world spent hundreds of billions of dollars, and implemented extremely damaging policies based on the beliefs which have now been roundly debunked.
Healthy people who had a minimal risk of serious illness from Covid-19, were forced to get vaccinated and unnecessarily expose themselves to short and long term vaccine injuries.
Is it too much to expect the authorities to admit they were wrong?
Even if it's true that the Covid-19 vaccine saved millions of lives worldwide, that would only apply to people who were elderly and/or suffering Covid-19 comorbidities. That doesn't at all justify forcing healthy low risk people to get jabbed. Apart from a rare outlier, their lives were never at risk from Covid-19.
There was never any need to compulsorily lockdown or vaccinate healthy people. That became pretty obvious early in the pandemic. We deserve an apology for the policy mistakes made and assurances it won't happen again. But I won't hold my breath.
Tim adds:
Here in the U.S the Department of Health and Human Services is STILL running commercials on the radio telling people of the wondrous benefits of the vaccine and how we should all get the latest booster, despite all evidence to the contrary. It should be possible to sue them for lying to us but the government can only be sued if it allows itself to be.

The radical environmentalist left are so concerned about the damage that people are doing to themselves by breathing in fumes from their gas stove that they've been campaigning for years to raise awareness and get people to fit extractor hoods or open a nearby window to ventilate the room and remove the harmful fumes.
Except .. wait a minute .. they haven't been doing that at all.
In fact I've never once heard anyone mention this problem.
Personally, I do open a window when I am using my gas cooker and it's
warm weather. Because, yes, I do not particularly want to breathe in
gas fumes needlessly.
BUT - I've never heard a single environmentalist leftist suggest that we do that. In fact, I'm the only person I know of who thinks it's a worthwhile idea.
So, instead of suggesting some sensible measures which cost nothing and
significantly reduce indoor pollution, they are trying to pull this
stunt in which they claim to want to ban gas, for the sake of our
health.
But, in the mean time. Let's not actually worry about
anyone's health. Because let's face it - this has f**k-all to do with
health.
It's about forcing people to use electricity for every
single source of energy in their lives. Because they imagine that in
the future electricity is going to be made by magic.
They are busily banning wood stoves too and there is no real health concerns from those. Wood is a renewable resource.
If the Left cared about the public health they wouldn't insist on the Covid shot now. They do because they hope to help depopulate the planet. Now why would people who want to kill off a sizable number of human beings care about public health?
I would think the Malthusian Left would welcome gas stoves as a tool to help reduce the surplus population. But they don't.
John's right; it's all about getting us to put all our eggs in one electrified basket. Then, with that basket under their thumb, they will own us.

The Chicom-dominated World Health Organization is making a power play, trying to make its' proclamations internationally binding.
From the article:
Secretive negotiations took place this week in Geneva, Switzerland, to discuss proposed amendments to the World Health Organization’s (WHO) International Health Regulations (IHR), considered a binding instrument of international law.
Similar negotiations took place last month for drafting a new WHO pandemic treaty.
While the two are often conflated, the proposed IHR amendmentsand the proposed pandemic treaty represent two separate but related sets of proposals that would fundamentally alter the WHO’s ability to respond to "public health emergencies” throughout the world — and, critics warn, significantly strip nations of their sovereignty.
According to author and researcher James Roguski, these two proposals would transform the WHO from an advisory organization to a global governing body whose policies would be legally binding.
They also would greatly expand the scope and reach of the IHR, institute a system of global health certificates and "passports” and allow the WHO to mandate medical examinations, quarantine and treatment.
Roguski said the proposed documents would give the WHO power over the means of production during a declared pandemic, call for the development of IHR infrastructure at "points of entry” (such as national borders), redirect billions of dollars to the "Pharmaceutical Hospital Emergency Industrial Complex” and remove mention of "respect for dignity, human rights and fundamental freedoms of people.”
Francis Boyle, J.D., Ph.D., professor of international law at the University of Illinois, said the proposed documents may also contravene international law.

In assessing the energy inputs onto the surface of planet Earth, the reality is that radiation (solar, cosmic, moonbeams, starlight, and the much-heralded, ersatz "back radiation”) is a laughably minuscule fraction in our total energy inputs.
In relation to the importance to Life on Earth, the radiation from the Sun is barely more than a bright birthday candle.
Radiation is by far and away the weakest mechanism for heat transfer. Radiation is a stream of photons, carrying no mass and no charge. Photons are gauge bosons. They are barely more than messenger boys. Cooking foods uses convection and conduction. How long have we had microwaves ? And much to the detriment of flavors.
Our planet receives radiation spanning soft ultraviolet, thru visible, to near infrared. Say wavelengths 100 to 1000 nanometers (nm). Of course, the planet cools by emitting long wave infrared at 8,000 to 14,000 nm, radiating out from cloud tops.
UV-C spans 100 to 280 nm. It is the most damaging to Life and is filtered by ozone in our stratosphere.
UV-B spans 280 to 320 nm. It can cause skin cancer. It inhibits photosynthesis.
UV-A spans 320 to 400 nm. Responsible for sunburns and also inhibits photosynthesis.
Photosynthetica
Near infrared light spans 700 to approx. 1000 nm. It is approx. 49.4 % of solar energy. It is the wavelength that warms you and the barest surface of the oceans.
All of the other forms of energy which nurtured and sustains Life on our planet are unseen.
The planets and stars all formed by accretion with heavy metals and
minerals stratifying throughout the celestial mass. It is recognized
that enstatite chrondite meteoric masses were the essential building
block materials, carrying the heaviest of the heaviest elements — the
Actinides — to the cores. Thus formed the Earth’s GeoReactor, a
naturally-occur
The thermonuclear blast wave blew off the the gas/
As the
planet decompressed, minerals transformed to yield sulfur, oxygen, and
water. A cascade of geochemical reactions produced SO2, other
sulfur-based acids, and metal oxide catalysts. Sulfur-based acids
reacts with molten carbonates to yield CO and CO2. Water reacts with
mafic and ultramafic like olivine to produce hydrogen plus scaly
serpentine minerals like crocoite and asbestos minerals. Fischer-Tropsch
The center of mass (the barycenter) of our Solar System is determined by the Sun and Jupiter. They are like a mis-matched set of bolos as the Solar System rockets through space. The gravity interactions squeeze and pump Earth’s fragile rigid tectonic plates, opening the trench systems of the oceans to release the inner heat of the planet. Thus we have liquid water on the surface plus heat injected into the ocean waters to produce Weather and Climate.
There is so much more than what meets the eye.

Many of the reports on the Mar-A-Lago raid said that the documents in question that President Trump was wanting to keep had to do with the Crossfire Hurricane investigation. Which is why I think the FBI was so aggressive in not waiting for this to play out in the courts. Trump was going to allow John Solomon access to the records. Kash Patel, President Trump's national security advisor said in an interview right after the raid that he believes this is why the raid went down like it did. The FBI did not want those documents made public. Siezing them like they did insured they could be kept away from prying eyes. I think in my opinion as well that the FBI was trying to send a message to Trump not to mess with them. Since they went into the closets of Melania and there son .
What I want to know about the documents found in Biden's possession is exactly what was in them. News reports say that some of the ones from his think tank had to do with Ukraine. They have not disclosed what was in the one's found at his home in Delaware. And now that Special Counsel John Hur has been assigned we may never know unless as Alan Dershowitz has proposed that since Biden is now President he can declassify them and let the public know what's in them. I seriously doubt Biden will do any such thing. AG Garland I believe appointed Hur because what was found was most likely very damaging to Biden amd could put his presidency in jeopardy. According to Constitutional experts like Dershowitz Biden didn't have authority under current law to have any classified documents. Only then President Obama could have declassified them. So Biden could have only had access to them by going to the National Archives to view anything he may have wanted to see. But could not remove anything.
So for me Garland put both Special Counsels in place for the same reason. In Trump's case he wanted the Crossfire Hurricane paper's kept from being exposed since they possibly showed illegal acts by FBI and DOJ officials. And the documents in Biden's possession because they possibly showed proof of illegal activities by Biden.

"Philosophy is not the only subject that has been 'scientized' by the modern university: literature has been shrunk to 'literary theory', music has been colonized by set theory, Schenkerian analysis, and generative linguistics, and architecture has been all but abolished by engineering. Pretended science has driven honest speculation from the intellectual economy, just as bad money drives out good. This Gresham's law of the intellect operates wherever university teachers in the humanities exchange knowledge and imagination for the chimera of scientific 'research'."
--Roger Scruton, 1996, "An Intelligent Person's Guide to Philosophy."
It goes back to the government funding and the drive for "STEM" which in reality was a drive to subvert science to the service of the Progressives. The arts and humanities died with it.

This didn't come out very good but I will post it anyway. The problem isn't with me but with Prince, who wrote a catchy tune but his lyrics weren't exactly poetic.
Biden's Little Red Corvette
I guess we should've known
by the way he plagiarized speeches
and his checkered lies gone past
he sucks as bad as leeches
he's the kinda person
that believes in cheating everyone
only thing is his brain aint too fast
I sure hope he don't run
I guess America was dumb
electing that crumb-bum
he had some boxes full of files with the documents in piles
though he was mightily confused
but he thought they might indict
so it made it alright
and he figured what did he have to lose?
the money he'll get paid
he knows the FBI won't raid
Little Red Corvette
Joe Biden aint very swift
He put them by the Little Red Corvette
it's just another grift
he's got classified docs that he needs to trash
So in his garage he did stash
He wishes we just closed our eyes
and pretend to ignore his disgrace
but the GOP ain't far behind
and the Dems fear he'll lose the race
he's just a bit forgetful and a little tad bit ill
and he called in all his favors and has never paid the bill
Little Red Corvette
he put the files by his Little Red Corvette
he's trying hard to hide it but he may have lost the bet
Believe it or not
he's starting to worry
He wondered if they'd get him this time
But it was election night
I guess that makes it all right
And he was never bothered by slime
Oh yeah
but he's running out of time
You and your son (and your son)
ought to be in jail (ought to be in jail)
cause of your many crooked schemes (cause of your many crooked schemes)
go back and eat more ice creams
(eat more ice creams)
Gimme the Keys you're asleep at the wheel
(asleep at the wheel)
while you try hard to steal
America's meal (steal America's meal.)
You want us all tamed
you rotten lame-brain
(you rotten lame-brain)
Little Red Corvette
while you drive America deeper in debt
Little Red Corvette
How much worse will you make it get?

The Web Telescope has discovered an Earth-sized world in close orbit around a red dwarf star.
The planet which orbits the red dwarf LHS475 is designated B. It is roughly 41 light years away.
According to the rather uninformative article:
So it is probably an Earth-sized airless rock. But if it has some sort of air and is tidally locked the twilight portion may be cool enough to spend some time on - assuming you don't mind the rather lengthy commute.
One great thing about it though; you won't need your gas stove as it's warm enough to cook without it. That way when Biden bans it you're covered.
At any rate we have nothing that could ever make it there, so don't get your hopes up.
