So they must present a "clear and present danger" to the country to justify cracking down on free speech. They can't let the truth come out. And this didn't start with Biden; the Obama Administration was promoting this lie of "right wing terrorism" when The ONE was in office as well. This serves a long-term strategy of stifling the opposition. The Left never got over losing their media monopoly, and have labored dilligently to reestablish it.

While many of us celebrate this big, bad bank having to forgive the loans, some of us are pondering the precedent being set.
The loans in question are PRIVATE loans, meaning they are NOT guaranteed by the federal government.
The settlement resulted from accusations the lender gave out loans to millions of borrowers who’d be "UNLIKELY" to be able to repay them. They settled (quote) "to avoid the additional burden, expense, time and distraction to prevail in court.”
Again, the State's (capital S) crushing process WAS the punishment. Since when is it illegal for a willing borrower and willing lender to make a contract? Apparently, now.

Wokiism, Covid, Climate and the Great Reset

Here is a terrific essay about the Great Reset by the author of Google Archipelago. It's a must read.

(One thing; I disagree with his assertion that this isn't aimed at world government. That is clearly the unspoken ambition here.  But I digress.) Let me give you a sample of what he's saying:

In May 2018, the WEF (World Economic Forum, the epicenter of all this) collaborated with the Johns Hopkins Center for Health Security to conduct "CLADE X,” a simulation of a national pandemic response. Specifically, the exercise simulated the outbreak of a novel strain of a human parainfluenza virus, with genetic elements of the Nipah virus, called CLADE X. The simulation ended with a news report stating that in the face of CLADE X, without effective vaccines, "experts tell us that we could eventually see 30 to 40 million deaths in the U.S. and more than 900 million around the world—twelve percent of the global population.” Clearly, preparation for a global pandemic was in order.

In October 2019, the WEF collaborated with Johns Hopkins and the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation on another pandemic exercise, "Event 201,” which simulated an international response to the outbreak of a novel coronavirus. This was two months before the COVID outbreak in China became news and five months before the World Health Organization declared it a pandemic, and it closely resembled the future COVID scenario, including incorporating the idea of asymptomatic spread.

The CLADE X and Event 201 simulations anticipated almost every eventuality of the actual COVID crisis, most notably the responses by governments, health agencies, the media, tech companies, and elements of the public. The responses and their effects included worldwide lockdowns, the collapse of businesses and industries, the adoption of biometric surveillance technologies, an emphasis on social media censorship to combat "misinformation,” the flooding of social and legacy media with "authoritative sources,” widespread riots, and mass unemployment.

In addition to being promoted as a response to COVID, the Great Reset is promoted as a response to climate change. In 2017, the WEF published a paper entitled, "We Need to Reset the Global Operating System to Achieve the [United Nations Sustainable Development Goals].” On June 13, 2019, the WEF signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the United Nations to form a partnership to advance the "UN 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.” Shortly after that, the WEF published the "United Nations-World Economic Forum Strategic Partnership Framework for the 2030 Agenda,” promising to help finance the UN’s climate change agenda and committing the WEF to help the UN "meet the needs of the Fourth Industrial Revolution,” including providing assets and expertise for "digital governance.”

In June 2020, at its 50th annual meeting, the WEF announced the Great Reset’s official launch, and a month later Schwab and Malleret published their book on COVID and the Great Reset. The book declared that COVID represents an "opportunity [that] can be seized”; that "we should take advantage of this unprecedented opportunity to reimagine our world”; that "the moment must be seized to take advantage of this unique window of opportunity”; and that "[f]or those fortunate enough to find themselves in industries ‘naturally’ resilient to the pandemic”—think here of Big Tech companies like Apple, Google, Facebook, and Amazon—"the crisis was not only more bearable, but even a source of profitable opportunities at a time of distress for the majority.”

The Great Reset aims to usher in a bewildering economic amalgam—Schwab’s stakeholder capitalism—which I have called "corporate socialism” and Italian philosopher Giorgio Agamben has called "communist capitalism.”

In brief, stakeholder capitalism involves the behavioral modification of corporations to benefit not shareholders, but stakeholders—individuals and groups that stand to benefit or lose from corporate behavior. Stakeholder capitalism requires not only corporate responses to pandemics and ecological issues such as climate change, "but also rethinking [corporations’] commitments to already-vulnerable communities within their ecosystems.” This is the "social justice” aspect of the Great Reset. To comply with that, governments, banks, and asset managers use the Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) index to squeeze non-woke corporations and businesses out of the market. The ESG index is essentially a social credit score that is used to drive ownership and control of production away from the non-woke or non-compliant.

As we previously reported, on Monday night Project Veritas released a new report announcing that they’d obtained US military documents proving that Dr. Anthony Fauci had lied to Congress and, more specifically, "never-before-seen documents regarding the origins of COVID-19, gain of function research, vaccines, potential treatments which have been suppressed, and the government’s effort to conceal all of this.”

One document, an August 13, 2021 report on Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) letterhead from the Commandant of the Marine Corps Fellow, DARPA to the Inspector General of the Department of Defense carries the subject line: "SARS CoV-2 Origins Investigation With US Government Program Undisclosed Document Analysis.” The analysis reports that the 2018 EcoHealth Alliance coronavirus research proposal that DARPA rejected because it was too risky and likely violated the gain of function research ban was then funded by NIH/NIAID and carried out, and thatSARS-CoV-2 – a/k/a COVID-19 – resulted from that research and escaped in August 2019.

The more explosive parts of the report were not narrated by O’Keefe, but were in the screenshots shown. While only one full page was shown in the Project Veritas video, screenshots from other portions of the report were shown as well.

In the video, Project Veritas identifies the author as Marine Corps Maj. Joseph Murphy, then-Commandant Marine Corps Fellow at DARPA. According to his LinkedIn page, Maj. Murphy is now at the Office of Naval Research.

After the date, the to/from, the subject line, and a list of attachments, the first page of the memo reads:

SARS-CoV-2 is an American-created recombinant bat vaccine, or its precursor virus. It was created by an EcoHealth Alliance program at the Wuhan Institute of Virology (WIV), as suggested by the reporting surrounding the lab leak hypothesis. The details of this program have been concealed since the pandemic began. These details can be found in the EcoHealth Alliance proposal response to the DARPA PREEMPT program Broad Agency Announcement (BAA) HR00118S0017, dated March 2018 – a document not yet publicly disclosed.

The contents of the proposed program are extremely detailed. Peter Daszak lays out step-by-step what the organization intends to do by phase and by location. The primary scientists involved, their roles, and their institutions are indicated. The funding plan for the WIV work is its own document. The reasons why nonpharmaceutical interventions like masks and medical countermeasures like the mRNA vaccines do not work well can be extrapolated from the details. The reasons why the early treatment protocols work as curatives are apparent.

SARS-CoV-2’s form as it emerged is likely as a precursor, deliberately virulent, humanized recombinant SARSr-CoV that was to be reverse engineered into a live attenuated SARSr-CoV bat vaccine. Its nature can be determined from analysis of its genome with the context provided by the EcoHealth Alliance proposal. Joining this analysis with US intelligence collections on Wuhan will aid this determination.

 

Murphy then goes into the rejection by DARPA and claims that the proposal was actually funded by NIAID and that work began on the project.

DARPA rejected the proposal because the work was too close to violating the gain-of-function (GoF) moratorium, despite what Peter Daszak says in the proposal (that the work would not). As is known, Dr. Fauci with NIAID did not reject the proposal. The work took place at the WIV and at several sites in the US, identified in detail in the proposal.

DRASTIC (the group that initially posted EcoHealth Alliance’s DARPA proposal online) reported that EcoHealth Alliance’s proposal envisioned grant money paying half of WIV scientist Dr. Shi Zhengli’s salary for three years – and that might have been a problem for DARPA, too:

DRASTIC independently assesses that the tone of the proposal (see for instance the ‘our cave complex’) and the deep suggested involvement of some of the WIV parties (Shi Zheng Li employed half-time for 3 years – paid via the grant – and invited to DARPA headquarters at Arlington), may not have helped either – especially in the absence of any DURC risk mitigation program.

That work resulted in the creation of SARSr-CoV-WIV, or what we now know as SARS-CoV-2, according to the report:

SARS-CoV-2, hereafter referred to as SARSR-CoV-WIV, is a synthetic spike protein chimera engineered to attach to human ACE2 receptors and inserted into a recombinant bat SARSr-COV backbone. It is likely a live vaccine not yet engineered to a more attenuated state that the program sought to create with its final version. It leaked and spread rapidly because it was aerosolized so it could efficiently infect bats in caves, but it was not ready to infect bats yet, which is why it does not appear to infect bats. The reason the disease is so confusing is because it is less a virus than it is engineered spike proteins hitch-hiking a ride on a SARSr-CoV quasispecies swarm. The closer it is to the final live attenuated vaccine form, the more likely that it has been deattenuating since initial escape in August 2019.
