Two Global Warming Lies: Rising Temperatures and Rising Sea Levels

This from Jim Church

Dominick T. Armentano writes at the Independent Institute Are Temperatures and Ocean Levels Rising Dangerously? Not Really. There are two widely held climate-change beliefs that are simply not accurate. The first is that there has been a statistically significant warming trend in the U.S. over the last 20 years. The second is that average ocean levels are rising alarmingly due to man-made global warming. Neither of these perspectives is true; yet both remain important, nonetheless, since both are loaded with very expensive public policy implications.

To refute this, this article looks at data generated by the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) for the relevant years under discussion.

Fear Not Rising Temperatures or Sea Levels

The Great Reset

This from Steven Kipp:

2020 has begun what a few call as The Great Reset. Strip people of their outer layer of protection. Make them dependent upon others (primarily the govt) as you follow the scraps to be tossed your way. Endless propaganda to be remote. Isolated. Insulated. Disbanded. Less connected. What was once common knowledge (anti-social behavior is got good for you) has been turned on its head: "An entire anti-social new lifestyle is 'healthy' for you." I've never heard more of a bigger propaganda push on the airwaves than the constant flow of commercials to "stay safe." And now this movement has its own multiplied disciples, all in the name of "safism." I heard a Chuck Colson commentary in the 90s talking about the then-new "safist" movement: The movement to make America "safe" for atheists. I saw how sexual minority affinity groups in the early 2000s embraced pink triangles at their work desks as a symbol of a "safe space." The entire climate change movement is based upon the notion that mankind can "control" nature and climate and "safeguard" it . However, we are not God. Only He is sovereign. Safe measures are important; but once they become all-consuming, then anyone who gets in the way of "safism" becomes the new community "heretic" to be ostracized. Be careful of the bandwagon "safist" movement. Most mean well. However, operatives behind these cultural maneuverings exploit fear, panic, and anxiety. To say as a great understatement,

they do NOT have your best interests at heart.

Tim adds:

Agreed! They are using this notion of staying safe as a tool to advance leftist ideology. Notice how there is a movement to get people to rat out their neighbors for not social distancing, or having too many people over for the holidays? They are going to get this accepted as the norm. I had a nasty shouting match with some woman who began screaming at me at the ophthomologist because I was helping to support my wife and so not social distancing. She was just a passer-by, but she thought she had a right to start screaming at me about it. That's the world we are buiding with this.

America Walking the Path of Bolshevism

Timothy Birdnow

Here is a tremendous essay in First Things that sounds so very much like modern America. I remember a lot of this from my days studying Russian history. America is walking the path of Bolshevism, no question.

From the article:

How did educated, liberal society respond to such terrorism? What was the position of the Constitutional Democratic (Kadet) Party and its deputies in the Duma (the parliament set up in 1905)? Though Kadets advocated democratic, constitutional procedures, and did not themselves engage in terrorism, they aided the terrorists in any way they could. Kadets collected money for terrorists, turned their homes into safe houses, and called for total amnesty for arrested terrorists who pledged to continue the mayhem. Kadet Party central committee member N. N. Shchepkin declared that the party did not regard terrorists as criminals at all, but as saints and martyrs. The official Kadet paper, Herald of the Party of People’s Freedom, never published an article condemning political assassination. The party leader, Paul Milyukov, declared that "all means are now legitimate . . . and all means should be tried.” When asked to condemn terrorism, another liberal leader in the Duma, Ivan Petrunkevich, famously replied: "Condemn terror? That would be the moral death of the party!”

Not just lawyers, teachers, doctors, and engineers, but even industrialists and bank directors raised money for the terrorists. Doing so signaled advanced opinion and good manners. A quote attributed to Lenin—"When we are ready to kill the capitalists, they will sell us the rope”—would have been more accurately rendered as: "They will buy us the rope and hire us to use it on them.” True to their word, when the Bolsheviks gained control, their organ of terror, the Cheka, "liquidated” members of all opposing parties, beginning with the Kadets. Why didn’t the liberals and businessmen see it coming?

That question has bothered many students of revolutionary movements. Revolutions never succeed without the support of wealthy, liberal, educated society. Yet revolutionaries seldom conceal that their success entails the seizure of all wealth, the suppression of dissenting opinion, and the murder of class enemies. Lenin, after all, was by no means the only bloodthirsty Russian radical. In 1907, Ivan Pavlov—not the Nobel prize–winning scientist, but one of the brightest theoreticians of the especially violent Maximalists—published The Purification of Mankind, which divided humanity into ethical races. In this analysis, exploiters, vaguely and broadly identified, constituted a race, "morally inferior to our animal predecessors,” which must be exterminated, children and all, by the morally superior race, whose best members were the terrorists themselves. Remarkably enough, this program evoked no indignation, among other Maximalists or even among other socialists, however moderate. Another prominent Maximalist, M. A. Engel’gardt, argued for a red terror that would kill at least twelve million people. As if anticipating the Khmer Rouge, one anarchist group sought to establish equality by killing all educated people.

And yet the liberals refused to use their position in the Duma to make constitutionalism work. They would not participate in determining the government budget but confined their activities to denouncing the government and defending terrorists. Even when Pyotr Stolypin, the most capable chief minister Nicholas II ever had, offered to enact the entire Kadet program, the Kadets refused to cooperate. Evidently their professed beliefs were less important than their emotional identification with radicalism, of whatever sort.

[...]

Unless an intelligent was wealthy or, like Lenin, could become a professional revolutionary living at his party’s expense, he had to work, but as a matter of honor he did not take his profession seriously. As Izgoev remarks,

The average, rank-and-file intelligent usually does not know his job and does not like it. He is a poor teacher, a poor engineer. . . . He regards his profession . . . as a sideline that does not deserve respect. If he is enthusiastic about his profession . . . he can expect the cruelest sarcasm from his friends.

[...]

The Landmarks contributors mention a second characteristic of intelligents: their devotion to a special set of manners, including dress, hygiene (deliberately poor), hair style (the famous "short-haired lady nihilists”), prescribed and taboo expressions, and a set of sexual practices that the Landmarks contributors describe as puritanical dissoluteness (debauchery practiced as a rite) fueled by "nihilistic moralism.” As Frank observes, the intelligentsia constitute

a separate little world with its own very strong and rigorous traditions, its own etiquette, mores and customs. . . . Nowhere in Russia are there such . . . a clear and strict regulation of life, such categorical judgments of people and situations, and such loyalty to the corporate spirit as in this all-Russian spiritual monastery, the Russian intelligentsia.

An intelligent could not be a believer, which is another reason no one would have considered Tolstoy (let alone that conservative Dostoevsky) an intelligent. They accepted atheism on faith, were spiritually devoted to materialism, and proselytized determinism. They based these commitments on "science,” a word they used to mean not a disinterested process of discovery based on experiment and evidence, but—and here the reason became perfectly circular —a metaphysics of materialism and determinism

[...]

Russia’s greatest contribution to world culture—the literary tradition of Tolstoy, Turgenev, Dostoevsky, and Chekhov—could not have existed had these writers written to political formula. On the contrary, the Russian novel of ideas critically examined everything the intelligentsia stood for—the simplicity of human psychology, the easy division of people into good and evil, the supposition that life’s meaning is already known, and the reduction of ethics to politics—and showed how mistaken and dangerous such ideologies are.

[...]

Most liberals proudly donned the uniform. This tragedy almost guaranteed the intelligentsia’s eventual seizure of power and the terrible reign that followed. For the Landmarks contributors, liberals’ attachment to illiberal movements derived from a psychological complex favoring conformism.

Though some liberals recognized their differences from the radicals, most acted like intelligentsia wannabes who were unwilling to acknowledge, even to themselves, that their values were essentially different. Socialized to regard anything conservative as reprehensible—and still worse, as a social faux pas—they contrived ways to justify radical intolerance and violence as forced, understandable, and noble. They had to, since the fundamental emotional premise of liberalism—hostility to those ignorant, bigoted, morally depraved people on the right—almost always proved more compelling than professed intellectual commitments.

Casting "unworthy, furtive glances at who liked what,” Berdyaev observed, these liberals illustrated how "moral cowardice develops, while love of truth and intellectual daring are extinguished.” Captivated by public opinion, they signed petitions they did not agree with and excused heinous acts, always observing the rule: Better to side with people a mile to one’s left than be associated with anyone an inch to one’s right. Educated society knew that one could not just abolish the police, as the anarchists demanded, and that socialism would not instantly cure all ills, but they assured themselves that progressive opinion must be right

The LandmarksThe Possessed, that to the extent that a society’s educated class comes to resemble an intelligentsia in the Russian sense, it is headed for what we now call totalitarianism—unless others muster the strength to resist it.
contributors aimed to change Russia so that, like England, it would have educated people but not an intelligentsia. They warned, as Dostoevsky had in
You get the idea. Do read the entire essay; it sounds so very...modern American!

ISIS Planning Christmas Terror Attack

Selwyn Duke

My latest

Excerpt:

As if 2020 wasn’t "interesting” enough, now there’s word that the Islamic State is plotting jihad massacres in Europe during Christmastime. So warns a former MI6 spy, who says that the malevolent acts are intended as revenge for Westerners’ republication of Muhammad cartoons.

...Something else COVID ritual and immigrationism share, interestingly, is that they both serve to atomize the West. Migration of unassimilable peoples does this by dividing us demographically , while lockdowns do so by dividing Westerners from each other. Both reduce national cohesion.

It’s germaphobia and xenophilia — two misguided passions and a deadly combination.

Swalwell, Other Dems Involved with Chinese Spy

Timothy Birdnow

Democrat Russian Hoax promoter Eric Swalwell and a host of other Democrats have been implicated in a Chinese spy ring.

The Federalist Dishes:

Axios reporters spoke to U.S. intelligence officials and former acquaintances of the spy, Fang Fang or Christine Fang, to outline how under the direction of China’s Ministry of State Security (MSS), one of the country’s primary spying agencies, she collected private information on U.S. bureaucrats, especially those in California’s Bay Area.

According to U.S. intelligence officials and a former politician, between 2011 and 2015, Fang socialized, networked with Rep. Judy Chu and then-Rep. Mike Honda, campaigned for now-Rep. Rho Khanna, volunteered for Bill Harrison, the mayor of Fremont, California at the time, fundraised for people such as Rep. Tulsi Gabbard, and in some cases, developed romantic or sexual relationships with politicians to gain intelligence and send it back to her handlers, who were believed to be stationed in mainland China. She also reportedly used her close ties to government officials and politicians to place "subagents” as employees or interns in some political and congressional offices.

Fang developed a relationship with Russia hoaxer Swalwell, who began serving on the United States House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence and as a ranking member of its Central Intelligence Agency Subcommittee in 2015. Reports from a political operative and intelligence official indicate that Fang raised millions for Swalwell’s re-election in 2014 and helped place at least one intern in his Washington, D.C. office.

"According to those same two people, she interacted with Swalwell at multiple events over the course of several years,” Axios reported.

Despite his repetitive harping on the GOP and Trump about Russia collusion, the failed presidential candidate’s office told Axios that "Rep. Swalwell, long ago, provided information about this person — whom he met more than eight years ago, and whom he hasn’t seen in nearly six years — to the FBI” and no longer has contact with the Chinese spy.

Swalwell was sleeping with the enemy - literally. And he had the gall to attack Donald Trump as an "agent" of the Russians!

Does anybody remember Diane Feinstein, California's radical Senator, had been employing a Chinese spy as a staffer for decades.

The closer we look at it the deeper the ties between the Democratic Party and the Chinese Communists. It is increasingly obvious that the desperation to rid America of Donald Trump stemmed in no small part from this close relationship.

Swalwell is still receiving classified information and is on the House Intelligence Committee.

Louisiana Joins in Texas Lawsuit

Timothy Birdnow

Louisiana is joining Texas in the Lone Star State's lawsuit against the Rust Belt Rustlers.

Louisiana Joins Texas In Motion Against GA, MI, PA, & WI After SCOTUS Denies Emergency Injunctive Relief In PA Case

From Zero Hedge:

Attorney General Jeff Landry issued the following statement regarding the ongoing controversies over the 2020 federal election and the new motion put forward by the State of Texas before the U.S. Supreme Court:

"Millions of Louisiana citizens, and tens of millions of our fellow citizens in the country, have deep concerns regarding the conduct of the 2020 federal elections. Deeply rooted in these concerns is the fact that some states appear to have conducted their elections with a disregard to the U.S. Constitution.Furthermore, many Louisianans have become more frustrated as some in media and the political class try to sidestep legitimate issues for the sake of expediency.

Weeks ago, on behalf of the citizens of Louisiana,my office joined many other states in filing a legal brief with the United States Supreme Courturging the Justices to look into the conduct of the election in Pennsylvania where their state court ignored the U.S. Constitution in regard to the conduct of the election. The U.S. Constitution in Article 1, Section 4, states plainly:

"The Times, Places and Manner of holding Elections for Senators and Representatives, shall be prescribed in each State by the Legislature …”

The power for the conduct of federal elections is held by the State Legislatures in each state. In states like Pennsylvania, the judicial branch attempted to seize control of these duties and obligations and to set their own rules. These actions appear to be unconstitutional. If it is unconstitutional for Pennsylvania to take this action, it is similarly unconstitutional for other states to have done the same.

Only the U.S. Supreme Court can ultimately decide cases of real controversy among the states under our Constitution. That is why the Justices should hear and decide the case which we have joined representing the citizens of Louisiana.

End excerpt.

The Supreme Court seems reluctant to take this case; that is hardly a surprise since there is no upside for them. They will be blamed for "meddling" in the election and blamed as they were in 2000.

But they need to grow a pair; that is their job.

I fear I agree with Jonathan Turley; time is running out and so is the runway.

The Selfish Generation

Timothy Birdnow

I concur; the lockdowns and other efforts to "fight the virus" (formerly "flatten the curve) is nothing but a selfish narcissism. It is a demand by the frightened that others kowtow to your personal fears and phobias. It's so very modern; the notion that society must bend to the will of the minority, no matter if that will is logical or sensible or not.

This is how children become spoiled brats. Our society is now nothing but a pack of spoiled brats.

COVID lockdowns are the most selfish act of the most selfish generation

Schumer Wants Mechanics to Pay Off Harvard Tuition Loans

Jack Kemp

In a brilliant analysis by Terry Jeffrey at Townhall.com, Mr. Jeffrey explains by using a fictional family to show that the idealistic sounding idea of (Harvard bachelor degree and law school grad) Chuck Schumer of having the government forgive $50,000 of tuition loans is really picking the pocket of car mechanics and waitresses via their tax bills to pay off substantial parts of those loans.

The full article includes these remarks:

BEGIN QUOTE
Jim was adopted by a working-class family in the San Fernando Valley, where the father made his living as an auto mechanic and the mother as a maid....

Specifically, under the Schumer-Warren plan, the secretary of Education would issue an order forgiving up to $50,000 in federal student loan debt for each person who holds such debt...

Can a college graduate -- whose median household income is $51,456 more than a high school graduate's -- afford to pay off $24,000 (or even $50,000) in student loans?

Or should an auto mechanic pay taxes -- and interest on an increased federal debt -- so Joe Biden can forgive a Harvard graduate's student loans?

A reminder that there are Grinches everywhere

Dana Mathewson

An unidentified St. Anthony, Minnesota resident has received an anonymous letter on Monday chastising them for their Christmas light display.

"The idea of twinkling, colorful lights are a reminder of divisions that continue to run through our society, a reminder of systemic biases against our neighbors who don't celebrate Christmas or who can't afford to put up lights of their own," the letter, shared by Crime Watch Minneapolis, reads. "We must do work of educating ourselves about the harmful impact an outward facing display like yours can have."

You ask me, I'd say the letter-writer is the first one who needs the education!

The letter then challenges the resident to "respect the dignity of all people, while striving to learn from differences, ideas, and opinions of our neighbors."

"We must come together collectively and challenge these institutional inequities," the letter concludes."St. Anthony is a community welcoming of all people and we must demand better for ourselves."

The letter has received pushback on social media, with former Baltimore Ravens quarterback Derek Anderson replying "Saw this coming a long time ago. "If I can’t have it nobody can” or " if they have it we all deserve it” that’s not life."

Another user pointed out the irony that the letter writer is "doing exactly what they accuse the homeowner of doing- not being accepting of others."

"I would redouble my lights," they added, echoing similar calls from other Twitter users.

Lots of people echoed that last sentiment.

Go here https://www.foxnews.com/us/minnesota-residents-christmas-light-display-shamed-for-harmful-impact to read the entire story. And ponder, if you wish, the growing number of "Karens" in the world.

About Those Vaccines

James Doogue

I'll bet Moderna still want total indemnity from the government for Ill effects.

I have just finished reading all the technical stuff for Pfizer's roll-out in the UK. Here's what the media don't mention, I imagine a similar list applies to Moderna.

- There's a long list of normal tests and trials which haven't been done including contra+indicati

ons with other vaccines and medications.

- Not recommended for pregnant women.

- The initial vaccine must be followed by a booster some weeks later.

the vaccine isn't considered fully effective until 2 months after the second shot.

- it is not recommended for women planning to get pregnant within two months of the second shot.

- It is not recommended for children 16 years and younger.

- the vaccine must be stored at freezing and will only last up to 2 hours at room temperature.

- the vials containing the 30 doses of the vaccine needs to be diluted for each shot and tipped upside down and back at least 10 times before injecting into the deltoid muscle.

I shouldn't need to spell out some of the logistical problems with the above. But the media and health experts have been talking about the vaccine have implied it needs to have near 100% coverage before all Covid-19 restrictions can be lifted.

Children represent about 20% of the population. Women of child bearing age make up about 28% of the population. So there's a lot of potential exclusions in the population.

More reasons why it really only makes sense to have the elderly and medically vulnerable innoculated against Covid-19, especially when almost all healthy young people get is mild to zero symptoms with Covid-19.

Michigan Official Arrested for Vote Fraud

Timothy Birdnow

SHAZAM!

Michigan State Police arrest celebrated Democratic official on six felony charges of election fraud

So, all you people claiming there is no vote fraud, what do you say now? Anybody?

From the Law Enforcer article:

The Michigan official who earlier this year received an award from the state’sDemocratic Partyis now facing six felony charges for reportedly forging records and falsely marking absentee ballots as invalid during the 2018 election, reported The Detroit News.

Sherikia Hawkins, 38,city clerk for the city of Southfield, was arrested Monday after the Oakland County Clerk’s office noticed discrepancies invotercounts while certifying absentee ballots from Southfield. State police investigated and found that records had been altered so that nearly 200 voter files were improperly listed as invalid.

This was just one official; how many more have there been throughout the country? And how much did she and others get away with?

According to court documents, Michigan police found that 193 absentee voter files were changed in the city’s computer system to say they either had no signature or no return date, when they had both valid signatures and return dates. Police stated that after Oakland County Election Director Joseph Rozell found that Hawkins had submitted altered reports, his staff found the original ones in a trashcan at the election division office.

China's Network and the Bought Ruling Class

Timothy Birdnow

For decades China has wormed it's way into the top echelon of government and big business in America and it was only Trump's trade war that broke the network.

From the Washington Times article:

Chinainfluenced American policies for decades through a covert network of "old friends” — sympathizers and agents — who had penetrated the highest levels of the U.S. government and financial institutions before the Trump administration, according to an academic linked to the Chinese government.

Di Dongsheng, a professor and associate dean of the School of International Studies at Renmin University in Beijing, also suggested in a Nov. 28 speech that China’s Communist Party helped Hunter Biden, a son of presumptive President-elect Joseph R. Biden, obtain Chinese business deals.

On influencing the United States, Mr. Disaid, he could not provide further details about the work of Chinese agents without compromising their identities. However, he said President Trump’s trade war with China upset decades of close ties between Washington and Beijing that the agent network facilitated.

It is clear SOMETHING influenced America to such unwaivering pro-Chinese policies. We have been giving up jobs, whole industries to China for a long time now and it made no logical sense - unless you accept the premise that there are agents at work trying to influence America's ruling class and that they have been successful.

Now "China Doll" Biden is going to return to kowtowing to the Golden Dragon. Hey, maybe they will let you buy some cheap trinkets painted with lead-based paint for cheap if you ask real nice!

Dominion Machines DID Flip Trump Votes in Test

Timothy Birdnow

In Ware County, Georgia, investigators ran equal numbers of Trump/Biden votes through sequestered Dominion voting machines and got a tie a 26% victory for Joe Biden.

Ware County tested Dominion tabulators: Equal number of votes yielded 26% ‘lead’ for Joe Biden

No vote fraud my posterior!

From the article:

Using sequestered Dominion Equipment, Ware County ran a equal number of Trump votes and Biden votes through the Tabulator and the Tabulator reported a 26% lead for Biden.

37 Trump votes used in the equal sample run had been "Switched” from Trump to Biden. In actual algorithmic terms this means that a vote for Trump was counted as 87% of a vote and a vote for Biden was counted as 113% of a vote.

Those conducting the test were so shocked that they ran the same ballots again. The same results appeared.

ONE PIECE OF THE PUZZLE SOLVED. (It is worth noting that this was one County, and on one Tabulator alone.

Dominion Tabulators could have been configured with different algorithms in different Counties or States.) The point is there is now hard evidence of electronic manipulation of the Election.

The use of illegal and/or fabricated ballots is an additional issue altogether, but this is sufficient evidence to question the validity of the ENTIRE Election in the 28 states that used Dominion software. Source: Debbie Browning Tift Co Republican Party
