Contested Elections

Timothy Birdnow

Here is an interesting article about contested elections and the way they work.

I could quibble with this article. For example they say

"Some in attendance favored a national popular vote, while others wanted Congress to select the chief executive. Their compromise—the Electoral College—was something of a hybrid"

but that is not exactly true. There was absolutely no mandate for any state to hold an election. Many of the states had their legislatures chose the slate of electors, as late as 1860 when South Carolina did. And the Founders thought most of the elections would be decided in the U.S. House of Representatives
because they expected multiple candidates to be running.

Also, electors were supposed to be respected and educated and usually landholders. That was because the Founders did NOT trust democracy and did not want the President chosen by people who could easily be demagogued and at the same time they wanted people with an actual stake in the country (not looking to gain from it). Binding electors is also a somewhat modern idea; part of having them was to use their own judgment if needed. If a major scandal broke after the election the electors were supposed to rethink their support. Laws forcing them to vote as pledged were never part of the thinking of the Founders.

At any rate this shows there is still a razor thin chance this theft could be stopped. But it will require courage and solidarity from Republicans, and they just don't have the spine.

Virus Mutating; So are Covid Black Codes

Timothy Birdnow

I knew it was coming. Since the Covid pandemic is winding down they are now saying it's mutating so they can maintain the lockdowns and other restrictions.

London faces tightest restrictions; sees new virus variant

This is at the core of the Leftist "Great Reset" and it is serving the purposes of destroying private enterprise and making everyone dependent on big government.

They aren't going to ever let us out, or at least many of the Ruling Class do not intend for us to return to normal.

This was a revolution, folks. It stopped being about health some time ago.

Remember, they said we would be locked down for a month, tops. It was to "flatten the curve" so health care systems wouldn't be overwhelmed. It subtly morphed into "fighting the virus" and that virus is now mutating so it will never end. Cute trick.

Yes, people are dying of it, but so too are people dying of malaria. According to AJMC there have been  1,412,223 deaths from Covid worldwide as of November 25, but how many of these were from Covid and not other causes? George Floyd had Covid and had he not been the center of a major uproar he may well have been listed as a Covid death; everyone with the disease is. There is major inflation of numbers.

At any rate, if we now have a vaccine that should end the lockdowns, right? Oh, but if it is mutating we have to go back to the drawing board!

There are people who will try to keep this thing going forever.

There used to be laws known as the Black Codes. They were designed to control and restrict black people. America and the world now seem to be employing a new type of Black Code, this one not aimed at race but at everyone. It's a Medical Code Black!

Ignoring Malaria Deaths to Focus on Covid

This from David Nabhan:

My, my, what terrible times—a pandemic! Whatever shall we do? Well, one thing we certainly won’t do is take time from the incessant running in circles and flailing about to give the first thought to the 1 million people who died of malaria last year, and the million that perished the year before, and the additional million the year before that, and before that, and before that, all the way back to forever. And after the politicos have gotten what they want out of scaring the weak-kneed American children/ public into wetting their collective panties and blubbering their rights and their country away, next year another million people will die a miserable death from malaria. But those phantoms don’t count, and neither do the other tens of millions of fatalities from the other diseases rampant around the world that aren’t getting the marquee treatment for purely political reasons. They’ll just go back to being background fodder for the never-ending horror that takes place just about everywhere else but here. And that’s the way it should be, right? Concern for an American with a hangnail FAR over-rides whole populations who exist close to death’s door from the moment of birth until the bitter end.

So put your dopey mask on, comrade, and revel in the slump-shouldere d weakness and cringing cowardice that has been revealed to be the face of our culture.

Till the Fat Lady Sings

This from Willis Eschenbach:

Stacey Abrams lost the Governor's election in Georgia in 2018. Since then, for two years I've watched her and a host of Democrats protest that she actually won the election and is the legit Governor.

Now me, I don't think this election is over. And y'all can't imagine the grief that the Democrats have given me since the most corrupt election America's ever seen. On their planet, it's OK for Stacey to fight for an election, but not for Trump to do the same thing ... go figure.

And when I point out ugly facts, like that professional auditors hired by Wisconsin showed that the Dominion voting system had a 68 PERCENT ERROR RATE and it was totally easy for anyone to change the totals, the abuse has tripled ... no surprise, my theory is, when you're taking flak, you're over the target.

Not only that, but the Dominion machines use the same Smartmatic software that's just been banned by the US Government for use anywhere in governmental systems because it is garbage ... consider this from 2017:

"In August 2017 Smartmatic Director Antonio Mugica admitted that the Smartmatic machines and software created at least one million phantom votes in the national elections in Venezuela.

Mugica added that the fact election observers were not in the room helped Smartmatic machines steal the election."

Sound familiar? It should ... we've seen it in state after state.

But you know what? After watching the Democrats spending two years protecting Stacey and defending her claims, I'm totally immune to the Democrat attacks ... hypocrites have never been a favorite of mine.

The same applies to Democrats venerating the Electoral College in this election, after doing their best to destroy it after the last election. Sorry, kids, but your vote just got canceled on my planet.

Finally, fools keep claiming that I'll be totally devastated on January 20th. Hey, Biden might be our next President, I've never denied that ... and if he wins, I'll fear for our nation, but "devastated"? Get real. I've seen authentic personal tragedies in my life, and this doesn't even make the long list, much less the shortlist.

Anyhow, where I stand now is, I'm fascinated to see how this all plays out. And to date, my only overarching claim about this election was that it would be settled by the courts ... which has been 100% true to date.

So rage on at me, my Democrat friends ... it doesn't touch me and just makes you look like the Democrat fools still claiming that Stacey Abrams is the Governor of Georgia two years down the line, but who also oppose Trump doing the same, people who are willing to change their ethics depending on the situation.

Onwards to the next election surprise, whatever that might be ... I could easily be wrong, but I don't think we've seen the last of this election.

My best to all, Democrats and Republicans alike,

Made to Steal

This from Willis Eschenbach:

For those claiming there's no fraud, here's more fuel for your hatred, from the professionals hired to analyze the Dominion Voting System ...

"We conclude that the Dominion Voting System is intentionally and purposefully designed with inherent errors to create systemic fraud and influence election results," Ramsland said. "The system intentionally generates an enormously high number of ballot errors. The electronic ballots are then transferred for adjudication. The intentional errors lead to bulk adjudication of ballots with no oversight, no transparency, and no audit trail. This leads to voter or election fraud. Based on our study, we conclude that the Dominion Voting System should not be used in Michigan. We further conclude that the results of Antrim County should not have been certified."

Why the Senate Doesn't Matter So Much

Bill H.

Pinning hopes on retaining control of the Senate? A couple of reasons not to.

First, they stole the presidential election in Georgia. You think they can't steal a couple of Senate races?

Second, he has stated openly that he plans to do much of his work by means of executive order, something that Congress cannot stop. Democrat presidents can do this. Republican ones can’t.

For instance, Obama created DACA after Congress twice voted against it. It was an illegal order, of course. Trump tried to cancel it, but the Supreme Court said he could not do so. The reason they gave, an entirely bogus reason, was that he had not given a sufficient reason why he was doing so.

Biden will, by executive order, make private ownership of firearms illegal, cancelling the constitution, and the Supreme Court will back him up.

Covid Vaccine Will Kill People

Timothy Birdnow

They are now trying to calm our fears when the sick and elderly die from the Covid vaccine:

From Life Site News:

December 9, 2020 (LifeSiteNews) – A doctor told CNN that nobody should be "surprised” to see reports of "multiple people dying” at long-term care facilities a day or two after having received the COVID vaccination.

Dr. Kelly Moore, associate director of the Immunization Action Coalition, told CNN last week that the COVID-19 vaccines have not been tested on the "frail elderly.”

"Since they haven't been studied in people in those populations, we don't know how well the vaccine will work for them. We know that most vaccines don't work nearly as well in a frail elderly person as they would in someone who is fit and vigorous, even if they happen to be the same age," said Moore.

Moore said that Americans need to be prepared for reports about the elderly dying "a day or two” after receiving the vaccine jab, adding that such deaths are a "normal occurrence” that may have nothing to do with the vaccine since such people "die frequently.”

"We would not at all be surprised to see, coincidentally, vaccination happening and then having someone pass away a short time after they receive a vaccine, not because it has anything to do with the vaccination but just because that's the place where people at the end of their lives reside," Moore said.

Many on the Left have openly cheered for the death of the older generation so they can move forward to their psychotic utopia. Now they've found a way to euthanize those very people.

Hiding the Evil of Islam

James Doogue

If a Christian man in a Christian majority country killed a woman for refusing his proposal to convert from Islam and marry him, the world would know about it.

Local leaders would hold meetings with Muslims at their mosque, Christian women decked out in humans and systemic islamaphobia would be blamed.

Did you hear about this case?

When Will This End?

James Doogue

Three Specific Government Regulatory Failures Caused More Than 75% Of Covid-19 Infections and Most Covid-19 Related Deaths In Australia.

Most of the economy and job damaging Covid-19 restrictions were unnecessary, did nothing to change the Covid-19 outcomes, and were a deliberate distraction from the cause of most cases and deaths.

The two greatest factors in achieving low Covid-19 numbers were closing our international borders to all but Australian residents and a list of limited exemptions, and quarantining international arrivals and the infected.

Other measures such as locking down interstate borders, social distancing, shut-downs, hand and mask hygiene have had minimal impact in reducing infections and deaths. In fact those measures, would have been totally unnecessary had we had a decent contact tracing system in place.

Our island status and remoteness meant we were able to stop infected people coming to Australia pretty easily and had it not been for two critical state government bungles, and a failure in a Federal government department, (all detailed below), most of Australia's 28,000 Covid-19 cases and 900 deaths would not have occurred.

1. New South Wales health officials allowed 2,650 passengers debark from the Ruby Princess on March 91 without Covid-19 test results. That decision was ultimately linked to over 900 cases of Covid-19 in Australia and at least 28 deaths. https:// www.bbc.com/ news/ world-australia- 53802816

2. The failures in Victoria’s "hastily assembled” hotel quarantine are "responsible” for the state’s 768 deaths and 18,418 cases since the end of May 2020. Even after an inquiry nobody within the government has named when and by whom the decision to use civilian security to run the hotel quarantine was made. https:// www.theguardian. com/ australia-news/ 2020/sep/28/ victoria-hotel-q uarantine-failu res-responsible -for-covid-seco nd-wave-and-768 -deaths-inquiry -told

Almost 70% of Covid-19 cases and 90% of Covid-19 deaths in Australia could have been avoided easily, by the NSW and Victorian government's. Not by any of the economically damaging and freedom destroying restrictions our state governments have imposed on our citizens.

Had the state governments simply applied pre-covid health regulations to cruise ships, and to government chain of command and decision making, Australia could have dramatically reduced our Covid-19 cases and deaths. Yet all our State Premiers have had boosts in their popularity ratings, supported by a pro-restriction s media.

3. The third damaging government failure was the Federal government's lack of regulatory enforcement of health care standards at aged care facilities. These federal government regulated and funded facilities were clearly unprepared to handle epidemics, and had poor levels of infection controls.

There have been just over 2000 cases of COVID-19 in residential aged care in Australia. Of the 904 deaths from COVID-19 in the country at the time of writing, 682 have been in aged care homes, mostly in the state of Victoria, (largely infections originally eminating from their hotel quarantine debacle).

That 75% of the country's deaths have occurred in such facilities gives Australia one of the highest rates worldwide of deaths in residential aged care as a percentage of total deaths.

"Homer Simpson could have seen the catastrophe in aged care coming with COVID-19 because it was there in your face”, said Professor Joseph Ibrahim, head of the Health Law and Ageing Research Unit at Monash University (Melbourne, VIC, Australia) and an expert witness at Australia's Royal Commission into Aged Care Quality and Safety. " https:// www.thelancet.co m/journals/ lancet/article/ PIIS0140-6736(20 )32206-6/ fulltext#:~:text =There%20have%2 0been%20just%20 over,in%20the%2 0state%20of%20V ictoria.

More than 75% of Australia's Covid-19 cases and the majority of the Covid-19 related deaths can be directly traced to these three pin-pointed Federal and State government failures.

The governments used harsh regulations to distract the public and divert blame for the great majority of Covid-19 cases and deaths.

When the rates of cases and deaths slowed and stopped, the government's patted the public on the back for a job well done. In doing so of course the government was claiming credit for stopping the infections and deaths through implementing the damaging restrictions. When it was their incompetence which created most covid-19 cases and deaths in Australia. Thankfully that incompetence was gradually reduced and cases and deaths fell away.

The governments implicitly blamed the public for spreading covid-19 in the first place. We were spreading covy by gathering in public, running restaurants, pubs and gyms, for going to work and to church, and going outside unnecessarily, for not wearing face masks, travelling interstate, and in Victoria, staying out after 10pm! All the activities they curtailed to 'save' us from Covid-19.

The minority of Covid-19 cases and deaths came from infected returning Australian travellers.

A very small percentage of cases and deaths were related to other community infections unrelated to direct government incompetence. Australians unnecessarily suffered through harsh lockdowns and restrictions to cover for Government incompetence.

Now the state premiers have discovered how easy it is to take away our personal freedoms and destroy small business, and they've discovered how popular they are for doing so, and how positive the media, unions, big business, public servants, academics and therefore the majority of the public are about Covid-19 restrictions, they are on a hair trigger.

We saw that with the South Australian Pizza guy case. South Australia shut down the entire state for 6 days, because they thought they had a new, more virulent strain of Covid-19 - with no science to support that. https:// www.smh.com.au/ national/ experts-rubbish- sa-coronavirus- super-strain-cl aims-20201119-p 56g51.html

Now we are being told we all have to be vaccinated for a virus which affects most people less than the Rhinovirus I am currently suffering through.

Will this Covid-19 madness ever end?

From Judi McLeod:

Climate Change and Galileo

This from Frank Lasee:

"What has the "settled science” of cataclysmic anthropogenic global warming convinced us to do? Deliver unprecedented power to politicians and bureaucrats. Power to commandeer entire industries. Power to pump billions of taxpayer dollars into half-baked schemes cooked up by crony corporatists. Power to redistribute income on a global scale. And to maintain this power, when cracks begin to show in the narrative, criminalize dissent, much as the Inquisition did to Galileo.”

Tim adds:

It is an inverse relationship; mechanical and electrical power decline as political power increases. That is the plan, at any rate.

One thing though; Galileo was not simply silenced. He was told only to teach Copernicanism as one theory as yet unproven. Galileo was more akin to the Climate Change people in that he insisted he was right before there was a consensus on the science by scholars (and not a fake consensus as in the Oreskes/Cook nonsense.) The Pope was actually a personal friend of Galileo's, and he was favorably inclined towards Copernicanism, but he was unwilling to throw the authority and prestige of the Church behind what was as yet an unproven theory. The authorities only wanted Galileo to stop saying the science was settled (which he was doing.)

Galileo was employed by the Church, I might add, and so was violating his direct superiors. And he was a citizen of the Papal States so he was under Papal authority over this. His treatment was actually mild for the day. His good fortune was he was correct, and his story has been used by liberals for a long time to attack Christianity and conservative thought. The reality is Galileo was the Michael Mann of his generation, albeit he was brighter and correct.

The Mail In Ballot Plot to Steal Lincoln's election

Timothy Birdnow

This is very interesting - and from the Washington Post of all places!

Mail-in ballots were part of a plot to deny Lincoln reelection in 1864

Ferry had been selected by New York Gov. Horatio Seymour to help oversee the voting process for New York’s enlisted men. Seymour had vetoed the initial bill to establish mail-in voting and would go on to run against Ulysses S. Grant in the 1868 presidential election.

Wood masked his suspicions as he entered Ferry’s office, portraying himself as a strong supporter of Lincoln’s opponent, George McClellan. This was enough to gain Ferry’s trust, he testified later.

Ferry told Wood that the votes from New York’s 91st Regiment had already been tallied: 400 for McClellan and 11 for Lincoln.

Wood returned to the office later and, following Ferry’s instructions, began forging signatures of the 16th New York Cavalry. Meanwhile, a clerk sat across the room signing ballots from the roster of names Wood had brought with him from home. Wood asked to personally deliver these fraudulent ballots, but Ferry said they would have to receive final approval from his colleague in Washington — Edward Donahue Jr.

Donahue soon arrived in Baltimore and met with Wood. It was revealed during this conversation that around 20 co-conspirators were already at work in D.C. to aid in the plot to deliver votes to McClellan. The following day Wood watched as Donahue and his crew formed a sort of assembly line, passing blank papers along to one another to be signed with the names of active enlisted men, wounded and dead soldiers, and officers who never existed.

In addition to operations in D.C. and Baltimore, the scheme extended back to New York. Donahue had received rosters of soldiers from military officials and members of law enforcement. A letter from Gen. J.A. Ferrell read, "Inclosed in this package you will find tickets, also a list of names of the actual residents of Columbia County, now members of the 128th Regiment. With my best wishes for your success.”

Useless Masks

This from Roy Spencer

Some mask thoughts and some published measurements...

I wear a mask because the governor, the county, businesses and my employer require it, and I *hope* it offers at least some protection.

But here's partly why I'm skeptical that it matters very much, if at all, whether we wear masks (quote from a recent research study, linked below):

"According to nose / throat swab data collected from patients, 75%, 50% and 5% of infected individuals carry an estimated number of SARS-CoV-2 per mL mucus of at least 10^^5 ,
10^^6 and 10^^8, respectively."

So, that means each ml of mucus of an infected individual has, on average, 1 million virus particles. Each cough and sneeze produces larger droplets (> 5 microns), mostly caught by the mask, while smaller droplets (<5 microns) resulting from just BREATHING are partly transferred through the mask, and are somewhat more dangerous because they tend to penetrate deeply into the lungs. We've all seen the videos of vaping individuals blowing vape aerosols through their masks.

The study says the aerosolized viruses stay alive for many hours.

So, infected individuals wearing masks are still spilling millions of viruses into the air you breathe by way of aerosols smaller than can be filtered by your mask.

If you are in a public room with someone who has Covid-19, there is no way I can see to prevent you from inhaling the virus. Tiny aerosols can float in the air for minutes to hours. Think of how long it takes before a nasty fart spreads throughout a room... within seconds to minutes, you have inhaled hydrogen sulfide that was just in someone's intestines.

How much of the virus does it take to make someone sick? Are you safer from inhaling "only" 10 million virus particles in a day when you wear your mask than, say, 20 or 30 million if you didn't wear a mask?

So, what I'm afraid of is one of the unintended consequences of mask-wearing... masks gives the illusion of protection, and, I fear, causes people to increase their exposure to the virus because they "trust their masks".

The authors at the end of their report politely come to the conclusion that wearing masks out in the public probably has little benefit, and I guarantee you they were afraid to even imply such a thing in the current culture where "believing the science" is used by those who really mean, "believing the politically correct science results, and ignoring the rest".

I fear that whatever limited protection masks provide is possibly more than offset by people *thinking* they are being protected by their masks and putting themselves in situations where the virus ends up being spread more readily.

We are all walking around with tinfoil hats on because the government has told us the "science" says those hats will protect us.

I suspect the only way to reduce the spread is isolation, as much as possible, especially for the elderly and at-risk persons until a vaccine works, or the most dangerous strains run their course.

Arguing with Idiots: Mail In Ballot Addition

Timothy Birdnow

In an argument on Facebook I state that mail-in ballots undoubtedly were used to steal votes. An idiot liberal (but I repeat myself) disputes this.

Udo W. Middlemann:

Timothy BirdnowYou subsume that, but have no evidence of several signed ballots by same person. So what? Shoddy use of tax money and paper, but no fraud.

I reply:

Udo W. Middlemann We know that a lot of people have been prosecuted and convicted in the past for vote fraud using mail in ballots. https://urldefense.proofpoint.com/v2/url?u=https-3A__www.heritage.org_voterfraud_search-3Fcombine-3D-26state-3DAll-26year-3D2019-26case-5Ftype-3DAll-26fraud-5Ftype-3D24489&d=DwMF-g&c=cnx1hdOQtepEQkpermZGwQ&r=_ZoQJr2V5MP1QfzTrstCAn7MIxs_joP9mAVoXIrjDTY&m=qkv8keYDwqCWxabg2ZDLMqJmIvUdgQZ_LZd2le1f9sA&s=dvkWHApDRnoKwBwZ0G9gZQ0xaQYIbqosc14PIXDmH8s&e= and there is no reason to believe this election was any different. (This compendium is only of criminal CONVICTIONS, not prosecutions or plea deals or any other things, I might add.) Of course, this will take time to sort out the fraud in this election.

The Carter/Baker Commission specifically warned about the dangers of mail in voting, and yet the Democrats pushed for it anyway. Why?

Even Barack Obama warned against mail-in voting, https://www.lawenforcementtoday.com/obama-in-2008-agreed-mail-in-ballots-must-have-signatures-verified/and he said it should only be done if signatures can be matched. So why did the Democrats go to court to block signature matching? https://www.lawenforcementtoday.com/obama-appointed-federal-district-judge-rules-that-signatures-dont-have-to-match-absentee-ballots/

Here https://www.foxnews.com/opinion/vote-fraud-trump-deroy-murdock are a few examples of mail in ballot fraud in the last few years.

And given the fact that this is primarily happening in Democrat districts it is not being investigated. Or do you think the Democrats are zealoous to find their own people committed vote fraud?

I knew when they began pushing mail in (as opposed to absentee balloting) this spring they were going to try to heist this election. That is clear to any honest person with a brain.

And why did so many people receive multiple ballots? Anybody?

Also, what happens to these multiple ballots? Can you guarantee none were taken by unscruplulous individuals and misused?

The fact is you cannot say these WEREN'T used fraudulently. I can say there is means, motive, and opportunity - the classic triumvirate of criminality.

BTW I don't subsume - I assume. And with very good reason.

Willfull Blindness

This from Lou Koncsol:

Naïveté - A Lack of Biblical Discernment or Blatant Sin?

None of us, even regenerated believers, are as wise as we think. Oftentimes, rather than objectivity employing the Word of God as the standard for plausibility or possibility we instead succumb to our own prejudices.

"Where’s the proof of tampering? Show me the proof!”, cries out the indignant champion of truth. Yet, to dismiss even the possibility of such happening via Satan and those countless persons who are willing members of his counter-kingdom is worse than being naive; it is opposing God’s truth.

Consider living in a poor state in the early 1900s during a drought in the northern part of the state. Yet you hear reports of people saying they’ve seen water down south in the state. Would it be reasonable to simply conclude such claims are ridiculous and unfounded? Or, could it be possible there is no existing infrastructure allowing the water the means to be delivered to the entire state?

One can read The Beijing News for months with no references whatsoever to the real, current atrocities of the Chinese Communist Party being committed against an oppressed citizenry. Are these realities nonexistent?

There are numerous testimonies, some by historically reliable persons, of very suspicious activities during the 2020 National Election, and even testimony of blatant illegality witnessed firsthand.

I am merely suggesting from a Biblical viewpoint to consider the possibility, not even the likelihood considering what is at stand in the larger context, of the reality.

Perhaps like our irrigation illustration the evidence does not get to where it is needed (whether state or federal jurisdiction) or the objective facts do not receive unbiased national reporting because the conduits involved are not working as they ought. Enough corrosion in existing waterlines can cause collapses and the inability for vital water to reach its necessary destination.

Corruption in politics affecting national media, banking both national and global, education, medicine, and practically every institution within our culture can transform the conduits of life-sustaining truth into sewer lines of manipulative deception.

Simply something to consider, as a Biblical possibility. All of us must guard against pride as our filter to discern truth, since pride leaves us without any real standard at all but our sinful, fallible selves.

P.S.- Politics, propaganda, and innate prejudices have poisoned our judgement. Christians rely on the eyewitness accounts superintended by the Holy Spirit as sufficient evidence to answer the unbeliever, and rightly so. The jury gives great weight, as does the Word of God, to collaborating testimony to establish fact. Yet, sinful subjectivism can have even those claiming tenets of Biblical orthodoxy abandon Biblical orthopraxy. The sad reality is should the naysayer be wrong about so consequential a matter then he must understand like the ostrich which places its head in a dry hole not only is it unable to drink water but defend itself against the approaching lion.

Tim adds:

Bravo Lou! Very, very well said! The Christian faith is entirely based on eyewitness accounts; it's the main evidence we have. I might add I've never been to Timbuktu but it doesn't mean it's not there. Why is it now we are supposed to ignore multiple witnesses?

"To doubt everything, or, to believe everything, are two equally convenient solutions; both dispense with the necessity of reflection."
