The ministry of D. James Kennedy was labeled a "hate group" by the vile Southern Poverty Law Center. The SCLP has somehow wormed their way into being the arbiter of all political correctness, and many businesses refer to their hate group list as Gospel. The Kennedy Ministry lost out of a lot of money as a result of the claim, which is based primarily on the fact that the ministry does not support gay marriage or transgenderism. They sued.
And lost.
From World Net Daily:
Judge Myron H. Thompsonfound that the definitions of "hate group" vary so widely that the slam is protected by the First Amendment, even if it causes harm.
The ruling came in a case brought by D. James Kennedy Ministriesagainst SPLC, which routinely labels anyone who disagrees with its pro-transgender, pro-homosexual, pro-abortion agenda as a hater or "hate group."
In fact, the ministry, which is appealing the ruling, had been prevented from participating in an online donation program because of the label.
But "the term 'hate group,'" Thompson wrote, "has no single, commonly understood meaning."
Well, the term "sexual assault" has no exact meaning either, but we all know what is being implied when it is used. There are certain things that are in common usage, and they may not be firmly defined in the dictionary but it does not stop us from acting on them nonetheless. If a college boy is accused of sexual assault he can be kicked out of school and blackballed - despite the fact that the alleged assault might include merely kissing a girl at a drunken party. The Left has demanded a broad brush in this instance because it empowers the feminists, who want to be able to destroy someone on hearsay. But now they demand precision. The fact is, calling an organization a "hate group" is impugning them whether there is a concrete definition of the term or not. Just as someone accused of sexual assault becomes known in the minds of the public as a rapist, so too accusing a group of "hate" makes them the equivalent of the KKK or Nazis. It costs them money, and damages their reputation.
This judge knows this, I suspect.
Remember, this is a law suit, not a criminal proceeding. The First Amendment protections of free speech are nowhere as strong as in a criminal proceeding. D. James Kennedy Ministries is claiming they were damaged by being placed on a blacklist by an organization which gives guidance to businesses and groups.
This illustrates the importance of appointing clear thinking and impartial Constitutionalist judges. This judge was appointed by Jimmy Carter. He is the recipient of numerous "civil rights awards" including the Mark DeWolfe Howe Award from Harvard "for his Unyielding Commitment to Advancing the Personal Freedoms and Human Dignities of the American People.†In other words, he's an old time activist.
We've got to change that. People like judge Thompson need to retire and be replaced by judges who actually follow the law.

Enough is enough!
Chile is in open rebellion against our "betters" on the whole Climate Change issue.
From Tallbloke:
Climate activists and the United Nations are suffering a major black eye this week as protests and riots resulting from high energy prices have erupted in Santiago,Chile, says The Epoch Times (via The GWPF).
Chile, which is hosting a major U.N. climate conference in December, earned praise from climate activists for recently imposing a carbon dioxide tax on conventional energy sources and switching the Santiago Metro system to renewable power.
Now, the people of Chile are rising up and firing a shot across the bow of other nations considering similar energy taxes and expensive renewable energy programs.
On Friday, protesters took to the streets throughout Santiago in response to Metro fare hikes. The protests soon spread to other cities and led to rioting and at least five reported deaths.
The Chilean government and the legacy media blamed the fare hikes on rising oil prices. But that is not true.
Read the entire article!Looks like the peasants are getting uppity! Well, it's past time; the international elites want to reduce our lifestyles, rein in our freedom to move about, regulate and control us and, of course, tax the daylights out of us. They want us to accept our fate, and even thank them for babysitting us! There is a paternalism in the ruling classes in the West, but people across the globe are better educated and more knowledgeable than in bygone eras and see through this. But the arrogance of the Intelligentsia knows no bounds and they still believe they can fool all of the People all of the time.
There is a theory about how certain empires maintained control in the past. Called Hydraulic Empires or Water Monopoly Empires, such places as Egypt or ancient China controlled the flow of water and if the People wanted to drink they had to obey. Control of fossil fuel is the modern equivalent, and the elites have built a hydraulic empire unlike any ever seen before based on their ability to control the amount of energy the public can obtain. New sources of energy, such as hydraulic fracturing, threaten this monopoly that they so carefully cultivated, and the whole Global Warming/Climate Change campaign is a desperate attempt to put the genie back in the bottle. "alternative" fuels do not produce enough energy to make them viable - and as a result people will be more dependent on government and what government provides than ever if we move in that direction. It is only the free flow of oil and gas that will break the monopoly of the Ruling Class, and they know it. So they promote "Green" energy and other losers, and push the idea that they have to regulate carbon dioxide emissions to "save the planet" . It's a ruse, a con, a scam. The real purpose is to place the yoke of energy poverty around the necks of the hoi poloi. See, they want to continue ruling, and they know much of what they want is anathema to what the general public wants. So they have to ensnare everyone in a trap. That trap is energy. Energy is the determinant of wealth in the modern world. They know that.
I'm glad to see the Chileans are not going to go quietly into that good night.

Compare these two photos. Trump in the situation room vs. Obama. Look at the positioning. If you did not know better, you'd think Obama was just some midlevel bureaucrat dragged in, not happy he has to work late.
Back in 2011, there was a story going around that Obama kept delaying approval to take out Bin Laden until the intelligence was too old. And Hillary and SecDef Panetta, ordered the mission and did not tell Obama about it until it was in the air and could not be recalled. I don't know if that is true or not but that photo makes me think it might be.
But today, I am glad Donald Trump is President.
One commenter gave us a pretty good analysis:
Robert V.
I give Clinton credit for Bin Laden over Obama. You can tell she's at least been there for a bit, where Obama looks like he just walked in the door and grabbed the corner chair. Hillary has also shown she's really good at (allegedly) murdering people covertly.

Rush Limbaugh used to do his Homeless Updates, where he would chronicle the absurd and idiotic efforts by liberals to feel good about themselves by "helping" the homeless. Often their efforts entailed such things as building hard-to-damage shopping carts so they could move their debris more easily than in the grocery carts they stole.
This story falls into that category; a big hearted liberal has converted an old truck into a mobile shower so filthy, rag wearing, drunken vagrants can become clean rag-wearing drunken vagrants.
From the article:
When people want to help the homeless they usually think of providing them with money or goods like food, water, and clothes. But what about their personal hygiene? It’s just as important. Soap, clean water, a safe washing facility – these are all things that many homeless people lack access to. This is where Jake Austin steps in.
Now, God bless him, he's trying to do something good. But where is the value in this?
Most homeless shelters already have shower facilities for the homeless. So do most flophouses. Access to hygiene is not the problem; most homeless don't care about it.
I knew a homeless guy. He was a boyhood friend of my oldest brother and a ne'er-do-well his whole life. This was a guy who got fired before he even clocked in on his first day on the job at a pizza parlor because he sat in the parking lot drinking beer before his first shift, then walked up with two beers in his pockets. He wound up homeless when his (sainted) mother finally put him out of her house (he was in his forties) in a last, desperate attempt to get him to straighten up. This fellow used to panhandle until he had seven dollars, after which he could stay in a fleabag motel for the night. After that he panhandled enough to buy liquor and then dumpster dove for food. He LIKED being homeless! He was dirty, but he had a shower at the motel. Cleaning up would make people less generous when he asked them for money.
I'm not saying all homeless are like that, but I suspect more are than we would imagine. And others just don't care about being clean. Substance abuse and mental illness are at the heart of homelessness, and hygiene just isn't a priority with such people.
Giving them access to a mobile shower is of very limited help. If you REALLY want to help them you would work to get them to quit drinking or shooting or snorting, or get them to start taking their schizophrenia medication.
Or they would approve of evangelizing these people. Theirs is a moral, spiritual illness. Homelessness has little to do with having no place to stay. Those who are in that situation find temporary shelter and usually are off the streets in short order. The chronic homeless are a different matter.
But as always Liberals go for the feel-good solution, one that does little good but makes them feel morally righteous.
I don't know if this guy is a liberal, but the name of his operation sure sounds like it.
So these people will shower and then pull their filthy rags back on and return to the dumpsters in which they reside. But the liberals who promote this CARE, yessirree...

This from Trumplestiltskin via Fakebook:
"General Michael Flynn’s attorney is demanding that charges be immediately dropped after they found that FBI Agents manipulated records against him. They say that James Clapper told a reporter to "take a kill shot at Flynn. This has been a complete setup of Michael Flynn. They exonerated him completely of being an agent of Russia (Recently Crooked Hillary charged Tulsi Gabbard & Jill Stein with the same thing-SICK), and yet Mr. Comey still runs to the White House on February 14 and conjures up the Obstruction of Justice narrative against the President when Flynn had been cleared of everything long before that. Yes, U.S. forces have killed Abu Bakr Al-Baghdadi, ISIS leader.
The Guardian states:
Trump says that Baghdadi died "whimpering and crying and screaming†after running into a dead end tunnel.
He says 11 young children were moved out of the house and are uninjured, but that Baghdadi brought three of his young children with him as he tried to escape down the tunnel. He then ignited a suicide vest, also killing his three children.
Test results gave "certain and immediate identificationâ€, says Trump. "It was him.â€
No doubt the American media will make much of this; it wasn't our forces who killed the Bagh but he himself who did the deed. And they will look to show that the children were not killed by Al-Baghdadi but by American forces, to accuse Trump.
I tried to Google this when I was alerted to it by a Facebook post but all of the articles that came up were from foreign press agents; the American media is trying to figure out a way to spin this so it doesn't reflect well on President Trump.
Here is a Youtube video of Mr. Trump's statement. And

Impeachment is a loser - especially in the swing states.
RINO Rick Moran rants
It gets worse for Democrats. The same states that helped Trump to a win in the Electoral College in 2016 are resistant to impeaching him.
This while CNN itself - the citadel of impeachment - admits that Wisconsin and Florida are both against impeachment.Indeed, take an examination of the battleground states that Democrats almost certainly need to make inroads into in 2020. The New York Times and Siena College, 2018's most accurate pollster, took a poll of votersin Pennsylvania, Michigan, Florida, North Carolina, Wisconsin and Arizona. These were closest states in the countrythat cast their electoral votes for Trump in 2016.Just 43% of voters in these six states want to impeach and remove from office at this point. The majority, 53%, do not. This means that the margin fornotimpeaching and removing Trump in these states (+10 points) is running well ahead of Trump's margin in these states of about 1.5 points. Put another way, impeaching and removing Trump from office in these states is not a popular position.
It appears the Democrats are cutting off their snouts to spite their faces.
Now, a lot can happen between now and the election, and it may be this is just a way to bloody up the Orange Peril. But often over-the-top vitriolic attacks has a backlash, and the public may well turn against the meiedia and their Democratic allies before this is through.
And bear in mind these are polls coming out of the mainstream axis. I guarantee you they are heavily weighted in favor of Democrats. No doubt there is a much larger percentage of the population opposed to this crap.
I suspect the Democrats will quietly walk impeachment back over the next few months.

It's a wonderful and uplifting article -- if you're a conservative, that is. And it's found here: https://townhall.com/columnists/starparker/2019/10/23/pompeo-and-barr-n2555186Two recent high-profile speeches by Trump administration officials say much -- maybe even all we need to know -- about the core cultural conflicts in the country and what will define the upcoming election.
One speech, titled "Being a Christian Leader," was delivered by Secretary of State Mike Pompeo to the American Association of Christian Counselors in Nashville, Tennessee. Attorney General William Barr delivered the other speech to the law school and the de Nicola Center for Ethics and Culture at the University of Notre Dame.
Pompeo discussed how, as a young man at West Point, he refocused his Christian faith to the center of his life. He went on to relate how this influences today how he understands America's role in the world and how he does his job as secretary of state.
Barr discussed the aggressive and destructive secularism now sweeping the country. He touched on the key point, made first by then-President George Washington in his 1796 farewell address to the nation, that a free nation must be a self-governing nation and that this only is possible through moral virtue.
Limited government requires a population that rules itself. This requires, as Barr explained, "shared moral values" that "rest on authority independent of men's will -- they must flow from a transcendent Supreme Being."
There is no way two high-profile officials from the Trump administration would give public presentations like these without support from the president, particularly in today's highly charged political environment.
Pompeo and Barr communicated a worldview starkly in contrast to what we're hearing from the Democratic presidential hopefuls, most recently at the debate in Westerville, Ohio.
The line is drawn clearly in the sand.
President Trump is running on the premise that America is a free nation Under God.
Democrats see our future in secular humanism.

Now the earth was formless and void, and darkness was over the surface of the deep. And the Spirit of God was hovering over the surface of the waters.
And God said, "Let there be light,†and there was light. And seeing that the light was good, God separated the light from the darkness. God called the light "day,†and the darkness He called "night.â€
And there was evening, and there was morning—the first day
https://phys.org/news/2019-10-physicists-simulate-critical-reheating-period.htmlJust before the Big Bang launched the universe onto its ever-expanding course, physicists believe, there was another, more explosive phase of the early universe at play: cosmic inflation, which lasted less than a trillionth of a second. During this period, matter—a cold, homogeneous goop—inflated exponentially quickly before processes of the Big Bang took over to more slowly expand and diversify the infant universe.
Recent observations have independently supported theories for both the Big Bang and cosmic inflation. But the two processes are so radically different from each other that scientists have struggled to conceive of how one followed the other.
Now physicists at MIT, Kenyon College, and elsewhere have simulated in detail an intermediary phase of the early universe that may have bridged cosmic inflation with the Big Bang. This phase, known as "reheating," occurred at the end of cosmic inflation and involved processes that wrestled inflation's cold, uniform matter into the ultrahot, complex soup that was in place at the start of the Big Bang.
The theory of cosmic inflation, first proposed in the 1980s by MIT's Alan Guth, the V.F. Weisskopf Professor of Physics, predicts that the universe began as an extremely small speck of matter, possibly about a hundred-billionth the size of a proton. This speck was filled with ultra-high-energy matter, so energetic that the pressures within generated a repulsive gravitational force—the driving force behind inflation. Like a spark to a fuse, this gravitational force exploded the infant universe outward, at an ever-faster rate, inflating it to nearly an octillion times its original size (that's the number 1 followed by 26 zeroes), in less than a trillionth of a second.
Interesting; one of the big criticisms of the Book of Genesis by atheists is that the Bible says the Earth was formed BEFORE there was light. But what did the Bible mean? The Earth itself? No; it was "without form". What it meant was that there was a something there that was not what we know as the universe today. The universe came into existence when God said "let there be light".
Doesn't this sound like what is being theorized here?

The Deep State claims another scalp.
According to Life Site News:
Thecampaignagainst assistant secretary of state Kevin Moley, and his senior advisor, Mari Stull, began shortly after he was called out of retirement to assume his responsibilities in April 2018. Emblematic of the poor state of the bureau before he arrived, when he asked for a comprehensive list of Chinese Communist–occupied UN positions, trust funds, and otherinfluencewithin international organizations, career staffers balked, took three months to respond, and turned in a single-page report.
Despite internal headwinds, Moley achieved an impressive legacy, including the most pro-life foreign policy the State Department has ever implemented. He put in place a strategy to curtail Chinese Communist influence at the UN, oversaw U.S. withdrawal from a "toxic" Human Rights Council and UNESCO, and de-funded the UN Relief and Works Agency. His leadership led to the reduction of overall U.S. assessments to the UN; penalizing UN agencies for violating whistleblower rules; and increasing transparency, through declassification, on reports of Palestinian "rights of return."
Resistance to Moley's policy and management reform was swift, including from his most senior foreign service officer (the principal deputy assistant, who occupied Moley's position in an acting capacity before he arrived). A source familiar with events told the Friday Fax that Moley put a stop to the senior staffer's practice of wheeling out the liquor every Friday around 3:30 p.m. to conduct "vespers" for bureau staff. He asked her to stop passing out fuzzy toys at senior staff meetings that included personnel from the Secretary of State's office. According to our source, Moley also rejected as unethical her personal promises to award positions to her favored career staffers, personnel who did not certify as top candidates.
Is it in possible to reform the snake pit in Washington? I really doubt it, as the Deep State is so entrenched and will fight anyone who tries to fix the problems.Notice how the Chinese are at the epicenter of this? We made China into a superpower, and quizzlings in our own government continue to promote them.
The article continues:
The senior staffer quit the department voluntarily and moved to the Management office on the seventh floor, the same office responsible for responding to inquiries by members of Congress and for handling IG investigations. Soon after, several news outlets began attacking Moley and Stull, citing "anonymously" leaked grievances by a senior diplomat.
Senator Robert Menendez (D-NJ) and the late Elijah Cummings (D-MD) cited the news stories as reason for an IG investigation, ostensibly based on the existence of a "loyalty list" that Moley and Stull used to "retaliate" against the senior staffer and other personnel. No list was ever found, despite a year and a half of accusations and a full IG investigation, which waspublishedin October.
Instead, the IG report called for "corrective" action against Moley, claiming that the senior staffer and others left the bureau due to Moley and Stull's heavy-handed management style, a charge Moley and Stull flatly denied. The IG report cites "appearances," "concern," and "perception" of poor leadership in lieu of hard evidence for the claim. It acknowledges that Moley was within his purview in making personnel decisions.
Moley was awarded the Purple Heart and Navy Commendation Medal with V for valor in the Vietnam War. He served as U.S. ambassador to the UN in Geneva in the George W. Bush administration, Deputy Secretary of the Department of Health and Human Services and HHS Assistant Secretary for Management and Budget, and Vice Chairman of the President's Council on Management Improvement in the George H.W. Bush administration.
See how the combination of media, Democrats, and the bureaucracy combine to destroy someone who is bucking the system.Washington has become a den of vipers, a place for every foul and unclean bird. One wonders how long it will be before it meets the same fate as Nineveh, or Sodom.

Trump just won the "Bipartisan Justice Award".
The award will be presented at Benedict College in Columbia, South Carolina by the 20/20 Bipartisan Justice Center, a group founded by twenty black Republicans and twenty black Democrats in 2015.
According to a press release from the White House:
So black legislators are giving him awards now. This bodes ill for the Democrats next year."The Bipartisan Justice Award is the highest honor given annually to a public servant who has demonstrated the ability to work across the aisle to achieve meaningful progress in reforming our criminal justice system. The 2019 Bipartisan Justice award winner is President Donald J. Trump for his Bipartisan leadership in the passage of the historic First Step Act. The award is being given by the 20/20 Bipartisan Justice Center, a non-profit organization founded by 20 Black Republicans and 20 Black Democrats in 2015, to elevate the issue of criminal justice reform above partisan politics.â€

Here is more proof that the Civil Rights Establishment has no more battles to fight and should go home. This also shows how modern America is so spoiled that any cause for grievance will get them in a tizzy.
From the article:
NYACK, New York -- Bed Bath & Beyond has removed black jack-o'-lanterns from its website after some compared them to blackface.
It all started when a law firm in Nyack, New York displayed the pumpkins along with the names of the partners on the porch outside their office.
They were up for less than 48-hours before they were removed when the law office received a complaint.
Don't these people have anything better to do than sit around waiting to be offended?Second, a black jack-o-lantern would be a wonderful thing, because in the dark all you would see would be the glowing eyes, nose, and mouth.
So something completely innocent and fun has been despoiled by the race hustlers who see the Ku Klux Klan behind every tree (I suppose they are going to go after kids wearing white sheets on Halloween next.) I mean, come on!
What does all this outrage and anger get you, anyway? Modern people are becoming physically ill from it. They are terribly unhappy all the time when they should rejoice; they are living in a paradise, a world of relative peace and very much plenty. No generation in history has had it this good.
And that is especially true of the black community, who are employed at a rate higher than any in history.
Which is of course, precisely why they have to find bogeymen in the shadows; this ultimately is about maintaining the old discontent in order to keep the Democratic Party afloat. Trump is going to carry away a sizable percentage of the black vote, and the Left is desperate to stop that. One way is through fake "hate crimes" and we've seen them multiply like mushrooms after a heavy rain. Jussie Smollett was just the most visible example. This can in no way be characterized as a hate crime, but it is a tool to make black people think nothing has changed, that they are still being treated as second class and disrespected.
Sadly, the law firm and Bed, Bath, and Beyond caved immediately upon the first shots being fired.
That's got to stop; corporate America has to stop being bullied so easily. They should remember that the silent majority finds their surrender craven and in the end that will cost them more than a few malcontents.
But this technique has worked for the Left and will continue to do so until someone stands up to them. A bully will always win until one of the victim class stoves in his face. In this case, his black pumpkin puss.

You know, there are a LOT of people on the conservative side all excited that the investigation into the FBI malfeasance in the Russia investigation is now a criminal probe. Many are saying that a hurricane is about to wipe Democrat corruption out of D.C.
But I have to caution everyone. First of all, the guy doing the investigating is an Obama appointee. Secondly, our side does NOT have a lot of good luck with these sort of investigations of the deep state by the deep state.
We usually end up being told "oh, we just found there was no problem. Nothing to see here. Never mind."
So, let's not start whooping and hollering and grinning that the truth is about to be revealed.
The track record is not good. Let's be more guarded, shall we?

Silverfiddle at Always on Watch explains our long term Syrian goals:
We wanted to topple Assad, while also protecting the minorities he was protecting, while also defeating the jihadis who were trying to topple him, while keeping the Russians and Iranians out (who were already in), while being buddies with both the Kurds (our fighting partners) and Turkey (a NATO ally), despite the fact they have a hateful, murderous feud going back centuries.
Yeah; kinda like that!
