Mulvaney Shrugged

Timothy Birdnow

Now they are finally starting to get it.

For years Democrats and the liberals they embrace have used the rules and flipped America the bird whenever possible, and yet Republicans have always played nice, obeyed the rules, did what was expected. Well, Mick Mulvaney just fired off a huge raspberry to the arrogant Democrats in Congress and there is not a thing they can do about it.

John Boehner Goes Literal

Daren Jonescu

Creating the best consumer-focused cannabis experiences and brands in the space.

John Boehner, along with his partner in crime Mitch McConnell, perpetrated the greatest fraud in modern political history, quietly facilitating the Marxist transformation of America while loudly pretending to be leading the resistance. That is, he made his fortune selling a palliative for America’s suffering while actively exacerbating the causes of that suffering. Like a drug dealer. Well, now he really is one. more...

Russians Going to the Moon, Plan Lunar Space Station

Timothy Birdnow

Vladimir Putin confirms the Russians are going to the Moon and are planning to stay a while.

From Itar-Tass:

'"As you may know the program extends up to 2030," he went on to say. "The finishing touches are being put to the spacecraft Federatsiya and research and development is on for building a super-heavy rocket to be used for the lunar program. So there can be no doubts we will be working actively and implementing this program."

Putin recalled that in the first phase a space station would be created in the Moon’s orbit.

"A Moon orbiter will come first. Then modules on the Moon itself will emerge. At least that’s what the plans are," Putin said. "I hope they will come true."

Don't Know Much 'bout History; 4 out of 10 Millenials Deny Holocaust

Timothy Birdnow

Yeah; the Millenials really don't know much about History.

From CBS News:

" More than one-fifth of millennials in the U.S. -- 22 percent -- haven't heard of, or aren't sure if they've heard of, the Holocaust, according to a study published Thursday, on Israel's Holocaust Remembrance Day. The study, which was commissioned by The Conference on Jewish Material Claims Against Germany and conducted by Schoen Consulting, also found that 11 percent of U.S. adults overall haven't heard of the Holocaust or aren't sure if they did.

Additionally, 41 percent of millennials believe two million Jews or fewer were killed during the Holocaust, the study found. Six million Jews were killed in World War II by Nazi Germany and its accomplices.

Two-thirds of millennials could not identify in the survey what Auschwitz was."

End excerpt.

And one in three Millenials aren't even sure the Earth is round. So we have a bunch of Holocaust denying flat earth children who hold absolute moral authority and MUST be listened to when they tell us we have to ban the Second Amendment and treat the National Rifle Association as terrorists.

You know, if the German Jews had been as well armed as Americans they might have prevented the Holocaust, or at least gone down swinging. Nobody wants a fight when your prey is going to fight back. But if you don't know about the Holocaust, or think it didn't happen, it's little wonder you think grabbing guns is a good idea.

Never Say Never; Black on White Hate Crime Prosecuted

Timothy Birdnow

In a recent discussion online I pointed out that hate crimes are not really applied to minorities, and are primarily a way of granting special rights to minorities - and shutting up the white majority. I stated:

""Hate speech" is a way around the First Amendment. That was the whole intent of the notion. It was intended to make it possible to shut certain people up rather than allow them to speak and be refuted and rebuked.

And of course "hate crimes" mean some are more equal than others before the law. A crime of violence is a crime of violence. I don't give it more weight because the person who committed it didn't like some people and that was a motive. Oh, and isn't it funny they NEVER charge minorities with hate crimes...."

End excerpt.

Well, reader Mike points our attention to this rare case where a group of black thugs beat up a mentally disabled white man:

Never say never, it might come back and bite you.

The Hogg Waller Claims Jamie Allman's Scalp

Timothy Birdnow

In the media Hoggasm, the deification of potty mouthed teen David Hogg, the guy who happened to be at the Parkland shooting and has now stolen more than his fifteen minutes of fame as the face of the gun grabber "March for their lies, er, lives" another scalp has been taken.

Jamie Allman is a radio talk show host in St. Louis as well as host of The Allman Report on local television. Allman has been a familiar face here for a long time; a news reporter and former spokesman for the St. Louis Archdiocese, Allman has also guest hosted frequently for Laura Ingraham. Murdering the Rule of Law

This from Americans for Limited Government

Robert Romano

"It’s an attack on our country, in a true sense. It’s an attack on what we all stand for.”

That was President Donald Trump’s reaction to the FBI raid of the residence and office of his personal attorney, Michael Cohen.Later, on Twitter, Trump declared, "Attorney–client privilege is dead!”

The President is right. The Sixth Amendment guarantees that "In all criminal prosecutions, the accused shall… have the Assistance of Counsel for his defense,” but who will want to be a defense lawyer now that counsels can apparently be prosecuted for protecting their client’s legal interests, for example, by settling legal claims with potential litigants? The Fifth Amendment guarantees that no person shall be denied of liberty with "due process” and the right not to incriminate oneself, yet by denying Trump the right to keep private legal counsel, he is being denied due process and privileged communications could now be used against him.

G-d weighs in on transgen weight lifter, ends their career

Jack Kemp

Some would say it was coincidence. I'd call it Divine Intervention.

But what happens when the next two transgenders destroy women's weightlifting titles permanently for natural born women? And women's tennis and women's track and other sports? It appears the new wave feminist "women's rights movement" is all for destroying biological women's rights to compete athletically for prize money, athletic scholarships and fame by pitting natural women against people whose bodies have been on (natural) large doses of testosterone doping of their musculature. It seems that a number of women athletes and the sports governing authorities both don't have the ba...err....courage to stand up to these surgically altered impostors.

Endgame at Facebook

Jack Kemp

https://www.americanthinker.com/blog/2018/04/the_real_endgame_at_facebook.html

The real endgame at Facebook
By J. Marsolo
Many members of Congress want Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg to ban "hate speech" on Facebook. Zuckerberg agreed:

BY THE END OF THIS YEAR by the way WE'LL HAVE MORE THAN 20,000 PEOPLE WORKING ON SECURITY AND CONTENT REVIEW[.] ...
SO HATE SPEECH IS ONE OF THE HARDEST BECAUSE DETERMINING IF SOMETHING IS HATE SPEECH IS VERY LINGUISTICALLY NUANCED. YOU NEED TO UNDERSTAND WHAT IS A SLUR AND WHETHER SOMETHING IS HATEFUL. NOT JUST IN ENGLISH, BUT MAJORITY OF PEOPLE ON FACEBOOK USE IT IN LANGUAGEs that are DIFFERENT ACROSS THE WORLD[.]

Zuckerberg cannot define hate speech, but he will have 20,000 employees reviewing content to ban the hate speech he cannot define. He said artificial intelligence (A.I.) will sort out the offensive hate speech he is unable to define.
It will be interesting to see how the Facebook Employee Handbook will instruct the 20,000 employees on how to flag hate speech to delete and ban it.
Every group, especially politicians, will lobby Facebook to ban language it deems offensive or hate speech while protecting the language the group favors. For example, Planned Parenthood will object to language used by pro-life groups as hate speech, while pro-life groups will object to ads for access to abortion by Planned Parenthood.

Battle of the Sexes

Fay Voshell

I loved this.

What Are Men Really Thinking?

Even my favorite writer C.S. Lewis had a rather jaundiced view of women. He essentially said they ruined male camaraderie by reducing good discussions to trivialities.

Schopenhauer was even worse.

As for some medieval monks, well...Their behavior was similar to C. Women were temptresses to be studiously avoided.

Bridging the gap between the sexes is always difficult, often most so in marriages. But if the attempt is not made, we wind up with misogynists and/or radical feminists. I might add the conservative church is not too good at encouraging male/female relationships other than marriage.

A WORD FROM JACK KEMP:

When you ask a woman how she feels, she gives you a long, detailed answer. When you ask a man how he feels, he replies, "With my hands."

Women's brains, not surprisingly, contain twice as much of the emotional bonding hormone oxytocin than does a man's. That fact surprises no one.

From Wikipedia:
Oxytocin (Oxt; /ˌɒksɪˈtoʊsɪn/, /ˌɒksi-/) is a peptide hormone and neuropeptide. Oxytocin is normally produced by the paraventricular nucleus of the hypothalamus and released by the posterior pituitary. It plays a role in social bonding, sexual reproduction in both sexes, and during and after childbirth.

Military Dog Hero Cartoon Movie

Jack Kemp

Much to my surprise, the true story of Sgt. Stubby, an unofficial (stray mutt) military working dog that wandered onto the training ground at Yale University in WWI. Stubby was transported by ship to France and carried messages and warned of poison gas attacks.

The movie is a cartoon film called Sgt. Stubby: An American Hero. The real Sgt. Stubby is preserved in the Smithsonian Museum in Washington, D.C. After WWI, he was even the official mascot of Georgretown University for a while.

I only saw the preview and I think this is going to be a winner when it opens nationally on Friday. Check your local listings. For example, it will be showing in the Twin Cities' AMC Classic Apple Valley 15. And also showing all over New York City. I bet kids will love this story.

Life is but a Dream - and so are the Charges against Mo. Gov. Greitens

Timothy Birdnow

The woman in the eye of the storm over Missouri Governor Eric Greitens has admitted in a deposition that she may have dreamed the whole thing.

According to Fox News:

"In a court filing dated Sunday, Greitens' attorneys said the woman -- with whom Greitens has admitted to having an affair -- told prosecutors she couldn't say whether she saw Greitens with a camera or phone on the day he allegedly took the photo.

"I don't know if it's because I'm remembering it through a dream or I — I'm not sure, but yes, I feel like I saw it after it happened, but I haven't spoken about it because of that," said the woman, identified only as "K.S.", according to the filing. more...

Federal Judge Upholds Massachussetts Ban on Second Amendment

Knife Control: the Path of Khan

Timothy Birdnow

Muzzie Mayor of London declares "Knife Control" for the U.K. Capital.

Gee, I thought only guns killed people.

From Gateway Pundit:

Sadiq Khan’s answer is to turn London into a police state (more than it already is).

You just can’t make this stuff up.

Via London.Gov:

Since 2016, Sadiq Khan has been taking action to tackle the scourge of violent crime in London, together with the Met Police. With the tragic rise in knife killings on our streets this year, he’s introduced tough, immediate measures to address the violence.

The Mayor is determined to ensure criminals are caught and punished – but he’s also investing millions in tackling the complex root causes of violent crime to help prevent future deaths.

End excerpt.

And here is what the good Muhihadeen of London had to say on Twitter:

Sadiq Khan tweeted: "No excuses: there is never a reason to carry a knife. Anyone who does will be caught, and they will feel the full force of the law.”

I don't suppose Khan understands that a knife or sword can be made out of almost any piece of metal; prisoners fashion them in the joint all the time.

London's problems are not because of the tools used to murder but because of the people who have been settling there. Maybe a mirror would come in handy if he wanted to see the source of the problem.

Exposed Puddin' Pops at Cosby Trial

Timothy Birdnow

In an act of valor and monumental foolishness, a female protester took a run at Bill Cosby in a topless condition as the embattled comic walked into the Philadelphia courthouse to start his trial.

Cosby was tried for the same offense but the jury was unable to reach a verdict. Now that the ME Too movement is pushing hard, Cosby is being retried and the new judge is allowing multiple women to testify against him. He faces ten years in prison.

Cosby's lawyers are arguing that the accuser - Andrea Constand - is a greedy liar who had stated prior to making the accusations that she was going to get a big payday from a famous person.

At any rate, Cosby is accused of drugging women and then raping their unconscious bodies. It's an odd thing, as a man of Cosby's stature would have no problem finding sexual partners as he is rich and powerful and could help a willing aspirant's career. He would have to have some strange fetish, necrophilia perhaps, to make it exciting to drug and rape women. Rape is traditionally about power, and how does someone feel powerful molesting a chunk of uncounscious meat? It's a very strange thing.

At any rate, it was quite foolhearty to run topless past a guy accused of so much sexual misconduct. And one wonders what these activist types think they are accomplishing; it does nothing to strengthen their case, or make the argument for sexual restraint. Clearly the streaker is indulging in some sort of sexual taunt, and that isn't going to help convince anyone of the virtue of the #metoo cause.

Leave it to liberals to act out and behave like children.
