The media is outraged that a Republican linked outfit harvested Facebook data. Of course, they ignore the fact that they themselves praised Barack Obama for doing this very thing. Well, turns out Hillary did it too!

"The social networking giant banned the practice of acquiring users’ friends lists in 2014 after former President Barack Obama’s campaign weaponized the method and got access to the data of millions of potential voters.

But Clinton’s application took advantage of special iPhone and Facebook integration, asking every user to pair their friends list on Facebook with their phone contacts – and give the campaign permission to access that info.

People who didn’t download the application weren’t able to stop friends from pairing their phone numbers with Facebook accounts if their friends decided to do so.

Once the friends list was paired with the app, people had to swipe through their Facebook friends and dismiss those who, in their view, would never vote for Clinton. Once that was done, the remaining friends were sorted by location and the users could send a pre-written text message to convince them to back Clinton in numerous ways."

It's funny to watch the media try to make hay out of their own barnyard waste. If they want to keep pushing this they will likely wind up hurting the Democrats, who rely on this sort of data to push their candidates and agenda. They Donkeys struggle to get their spin out, because it IS spin and requires a lot of carefully phrased buzzwords and memes repeated endlessly. Our side is in much better shape in that regard as we only need get the truth out. If the Democrats can't use this cyber technique they are going to be hard pressed.

This is going to be fun to watch as the Left eats it's own foot.

Everyone is probably awaiting my take on the brouhaha embroiling Pope Francis and his dancing teeth, specifically, his alleged claim there is no Hell. Well, here goes!

First, the Social Justice Warrior Il Papa has denied the claim made by Italian journalist/atheist Eugenio Scalfari that the Pontiff told him in a private interview (sans transcript or recording) that there was no such thing as Hell. If that were true it would constitute an actual heresy, something not seen since Pope Liberius supported (under duress) Arianism in 354 a.d. after having been imprisoned by the Roman government at Beroea and then exiled to Thrace. Beyond that there is no record of any Pope being heretical, although there have been "antipopes" - Popes who usurped the title or who were appointed as replacements by civil authorities (Liberius himself was replaced by an anti Pope - Felix - who was summarily removed when Liberius returned from his exile.)

…For five days now hundreds of Central Americans — children, women, and men, most of them from Honduras — have boldly crossed immigration checkpoints, military bases, and police in a desperate, sometimes chaotic march toward the United States. Despite their being in Mexico without authorization, no one has made any effort to stop them.

Organized by a group of volunteers called Pueblos Sin Fronteras, or People Without Borders, the caravan is intended to help migrants safely reach the United States, bypassing not only authorities who would seek to deport them, but gangs and cartels who are known to assault vulnerable migrants.

Organizers like Rodrigo Abeja hope that the sheer size of the crowd will give immigration authorities and criminals pause before trying to stop them.

"If we all protect each other we’ll get through this together,” Abeja yelled through a loudspeaker on the morning they left Tapachula, on Mexico’s border with Guatemala, for the nearly monthlong trek.

When they get to the US, they hope American authorities will grant them asylum or, for some, be absent when they attempt to cross the border illegally. More likely is that it will set up an enormous challenge to the Trump administration’s immigration policies and its ability to deal with an organized group of migrants numbering in the hundreds.

The number of people who showed up to travel with the caravan caught organizers by surprise, and has overwhelmed the various towns they’ve stopped in to spend the night. Pueblos Sin Fronteras counted about 1,200 people on the first day…”

Why now?  Well, the economy is booming and no doubt Mexico wants to keep the door open. They are going to try to flood the U.S. with as many aliens as possible to force a political firefight, and they want to embarass Trump.

12 The Lord said to Moses and Aaron in Egypt, 2 "This month is to be for you the first month, the first month of your year. 3 Tell the whole community of Israel that on the tenth day of this month each man is to take a lamb[a] for his family, one for each household. 4 If any household is too small for a whole lamb, they must share one with their nearest neighbor, having taken into account the number of people there are. You are to determine the amount of lamb needed in accordance with what each person will eat. 5 The animals you choose must be year-old males without defect, and you may take them from the sheep or the goats. 6 Take care of them until the fourteenth day of the month, when all the members of the community of Israel must slaughter them at twilight. 7 Then they are to take some of the blood and put it on the sides and tops of the doorframes of the houses where they eat the lambs. 8 That same night they are to eat the meat roasted over the fire, along with bitter herbs, and bread made without yeast. 9 Do not eat the meat raw or boiled in water, but roast it over a fire—with the head, legs and internal organs. 10 Do not leave any of it till morning; if some is left till morning, you must burn it. 11 This is how you are to eat it: with your cloak tucked into your belt, your sandals on your feet and your staff in your hand. Eat it in haste; it is the Lord’s Passover.

12 "On that same night I will pass through Egypt and strike down every firstborn of both people and animals, and I will bring judgment on all the gods of Egypt. I am the Lord. 13 The blood will be a sign for you on the houses where you are, and when I see the blood, I will pass over you. No destructive plague will touch you when I strike Egypt.

14 "This is a day you are to commemorate; for the generations to come you shall celebrate it as a festival to the Lord—a lasting ordinance. 15 For seven days you are to eat bread made without yeast. On the first day remove the yeast from your houses, for whoever eats anything with yeast in it from the first day through the seventh must be cut off from Israel. 16 On the first day hold a sacred assembly, and another one on the seventh day. 17 "Celebrate the Festival of Unleavened Bread, because it was on this very day that I brought your divisions out of Egypt. 21 Then Moses summoned all the elders of Israel and said to them, "Go at once and select the animals for your families and slaughter the Passover lamb. 22 Take a bunch of hyssop, dip it into the blood in the basin and put some of the blood on the top and on both sides of the doorframe. None of you shall go out of the door of your house until morning. 23 When the Lord goes through the land to strike down the Egyptians, he will see the blood on the top and sides of the doorframe and will pass over that doorway, and he will not permit the destroyer to enter your houses and strike you down.

24 "Obey these instructions as a lasting ordinance for you and your descendants. 25 When you enter the land that the Lord will give you as he promised, observe this ceremony. 26 And when your children ask you, ‘What does this ceremony mean to you?’ 27 then tell them, ‘It is the Passover sacrifice to the Lord, who passed over the houses of the Israelites in Egypt and spared our homes when he struck down the Egyptians.’” Then the people bowed down and worshiped. 28 The Israelites did just what the Lord commanded Moses and Aaron.

29 At midnight the Lord struck down all the firstborn in Egypt, from the firstborn of Pharaoh, who sat on the throne, to the firstborn of the prisoner, who was in the dungeon, and the firstborn of all the livestock as well. 30 Pharaoh and all his officials and all the Egyptians got up during the night, and there was loud wailing in Egypt, for there was not a house without someone dead.

One good thing that came out of the omnibus spending bill signed into law by President Donald Trump is that it defunds a key aspect of the Obama era Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) regulation, Affirmatively Furthering Fair Housing.

This was the rule enacted in 2015 that allowed HUD to order more than1,200 cities and counties that accepted any part of $3 billion of annual community development block grants to rezone neighborhoods along income and racial criteria.

This was always a vast overreach, where the federal government could come in and tell communities what must be built and where. Now, it’s over.

North Branford, CT, March 26, 2018: We have seen speakers, school walkouts and marches. They claim to be against ‘gun violence’. They claim to seek the end to school massacres. But even a perfunctory review of their messages shows that they are one of two things with regards to these goals: Ignorant or Liars.

Of the requests made by this vocal minority, we have hardly seen a coherent message, but instead a wide range of goals that all somehow involve disarming citizens of this country. Their talks and edicts seem focused around either restricting people who can buy, own or possess firearms or taking firearms from those who already have them. The talks rarely involve the philosophical or moral consequences of their actions. They do not discuss what happens to the people they seek to victimize by government force in the name of mourning those that they saw victimized.

So while Connecticut Carry continues its mission to defend the victims of these collectivists, we will also discuss what happens to the people that these collectivists seek to victimize and to speak about the uncomfortable truths that result when people are manipulated by politicians when they are the most emotional.
