Russia has launched a major drone offensive against Ukraine and the Ukrainians are calling it a "hellish atack".

People no longer have any sense of proportion. 9 deaths does not a "hellish" attack make. In fact on 19 December 1940, almost 3.000 civilians were killed in aerial attacks on London during the Battle of Britain. In fact the whole Battle of Britain saw 23.002 dead and 32.138 wounded civilians. Churchill would have been THRILLED with just nine casualties.

Seems to me the Russians were being quite careful to avoid unnecessary casualties. You can't hell-bomb a nation and not have lots of casualties by being careless.

"Over the past week, the aggressor used nearly 140 missiles of various types, more than 900 guided aerial bombs, and over 600 strike drones," he said, accusing Moscow of trying to "intimidate us with cold and blackouts".

Yet Mr. Zelensky conveniently forgets he just completed a major drone attack on Russia himself, one that killed 1,500 people. And by the article's own admission a Russian journalist was killed in Ukrainian-occupied Russia by a drone strike from the Ukraine.

Putin is moving swiftly in the hopes he can force a good deal out of Ukraine before Trump takes office. And Zelensky is hoping he can hand on until then. The fact is neither of these guys are worth a red whizz and the sooner we understand that, the sooner we admit there are no good guys in this fight, the better.
