Something happened this morning, an anonymous FBI official contacted Fox and a couple other outlets and said the other anonymous source was not correct, no evidence has ever been produced about China hacking of Felonia von Pantsuit's server. So we can call this the "Battle of the Anonymous Sources."

This from Tim:

CNN contradics your claim, David; they have an anonymous source telling them that Fox's anonymous source is ether incorrect or working for an anonymous source involved with Russia and the Trump Administration. They intend to prove it with an anonymous source in th coing days.


Dana Mathewson adds:

Well, according to MY anonymous FBI source (I actually have one but I don't ask him any questions, haven't talked to him since two years ago when he refused to say why they weren't going after Felonia), the anonymous source you're referring to is erroneous in addition to being anonymous. Don't you love those "ous" suffixes?

Tim replies:

Well, my anonumous source asked to remain anonymous, so I'm staying out of this particular discussion, Dana.

It got even better, just this afternoon the FBI refused to either confirm or deny the anonymous source's claim regarding Chinese hacking. I can't imagine how badly anonymous source #2 felt after that.

If anonymous source #2 were in college he/she/zhe would have to go to a safe space and play with a teddy bear.

and lastly from Dana:

I'd really love to know just how many anonymous sources FIB has at their disposal. . .
