A tick that bites you and makes yuou allergic to red meat. And it's spreading.
Did Anthony Fauci have anything to do with this? This is the envoronmental lobby/malthusians wet dream - eliminating red meat from the American diet.
Can you say recombinant DNA? I knew you could.
— Tucker Carlson (@TuckerCarlson) May 9, 2024
And this isn't just Tucker's opinion, no sir. The Mayo Clinic is as reputable as it gets and they say:
In the United States, the condition usually begins with the bite of the Lone Star tick. The bite transfers a sugar molecule called alpha-gal into the body. In some people, this triggers a reaction from the body’s defenses, also called the immune system. It causes mild to severe allergic reactions to red meat, such as beef, pork or lamb. It also can cause reactions to other foods that come from mammals, such as dairy products or gelatins.
The Lone Star tick is found mainly in the southeastern United States. Most cases of alpha-gal syndrome are reported in the south, east and central United States. But the condition appears to be spreading farther north and west. Deer are carrying the Lone Star tick to new parts of the country. Other types of ticks carry alpha-gal molecules in different parts of the world. Alpha-gal syndrome has been diagnosed in parts of Europe, Australia, Asia, South Africa, and South and Central America.
Some people may have alpha-gal syndrome and not know it. There are people who often have serious allergic reactions, also called anaphylactic reactions, for no clear reason. Tests also show that they don’t have other food allergies. Researchers think that some of these people may be affected by alpha-gal syndrome.
There’s no treatment other than avoiding red meat and other products made from mammals. If you have a serious allergic reaction, you may need medicine called epinephrine and treatment at the emergency room.
This at a time when the Left is pushing Americans go go vegan, or to eat bugs. Coincidence?
America was built on beef, and that's no bull. We were the envy of the world because we had cheap beef thanks to our copious open spaces and plenty of grass upon which to feed cattle. Europeans had to eat smaller animals, things like sheep or goats or rabbits. The British peasantry subsisted mostly on rabbit as the King owned all the good hunting land and they didn't have a lot of room for beef cattle. But we were diffferent.
I wrote about this at American Thinker years ago. Read about it here.
As I pointed out in my article back then, I saw this thinking when I was in college back inn the mid eighties, so it's not some new phenomenon. The Left has hated meat, and particujlarly beef, for a long, long time and sought to end it. They ask why we should get to eat beef while there are starving children in Africa, and their solution is for us to eat weeds and bugs and so we will all be equal. They find some sort of moral righteousness in all of us starving together.
So when I hear about a tick that gives you a food allergy, an allergy to the food the Left hates more than anything, I grow highly suspicious. I especially grow suspicious since we now know Covid 19 was created in a lab in China that was funded by the United States government. It's clear we have people tingkering with the genes of diseases. And I also am suspicious as people like Bill Gates have suggested creating a contraceptive disease and putting it in mosquitoes to infect people with sterility.
This is the transhumanist movement; they believe they can recreate Man in their own demonic image and that they are so smart they can get away with such tinkering.
Isn't this just what the Bible foretold, by the way? Allthe boils and postules and rashes and other nasty things mentioned in the plagues under the Black horse is explained easily if one thinks about this genetic manipulation and the creation of new, terrible diseases not by nature but by Man.
At any rate there is a special place in Hell for the people who are doing this. But the damage they may cause in the meantime could be catastrophic.

Glad I don't have that tick disease. Wifey and I greatly enjoyed steak and baked potato a couple nights ago, with all the trimmings: steak grilled with herbes de Provence and herb butter, baked potato loaded with butter and bacon (we were out of sour cream and I forgot the shredded cheese) but there was plenty of salt and pepper on the potato skin itself.
