Greta Thunberg called on the Chinese to stop using their traditional sticks and save hundreds of trees.
The Chinese advised Greta Thunberg to go back to school, where she will learn that the sticks are made of bamboo, and that bamboo is a plant, not a tree.
And they called her to stop wiping her ass with toilet paper because it’s actually made of wood!

Why indeed Bill? I can't for the life of me fathom it.
No doubt the media supports this because it is a tool to seduce the youth. "Out of the mouth of babes" they would say. Or remember that insufferable twerp after the Parkland shooting? I can't remember his name. He was comparing gun control to a smart phone, saying kids can operate smart phones and their parents can't and that therefore all things are easier for the youth. No doubt there are many idiots who will believe that.
No conception of the difference between knowledge - particularly of a technical skill - and wisdom.
