He said a lot but I don't think he said a lot, if you follow me. One thing that came out was that the shooter's "manifesto" contained the thought that "I'm so tired of being trans" and that was one thing that drove him to his acts. In other words, self-hate. It wasn't clear if this person had been medicated up the wazoo and it was making him crazy, though that could have been at least part of it, and if "they" were trying to hide his manifesto, it would be easy to see why, if this was part of it.

2 Yep. I commented on this very thing to you in another post. He said he was "brainwashed into becoming trans" and resented it. I'm sure he was a troubled young man who thought that would fix all his problems but at the end of the day he found his problems were all still there - and a host of new ones. Transitioning just made it worse.

These are people who need psychological help and we are treating it purely as a medical disability, like having a cleft lip or something. But if you are schizophrenic all the plastic surgery in the world isn't going to silence the voices in your head. You need help from another minister.

Ultimately I would argue this is a spiritual problem. What this guy needed most was Christ.

I was listening to Clayand Buck (I know; I vowed to never listen to them again but there isn't anything on at that time) and they had a caller whose son transitioned. She said she had no idea there was a problem, but the kid went off to college and the school filled his head with the notion he was a woman. So he got hormones, grew boobs, grew long hair, and now demands she call him by his chosen female name (which she said she won't do). You could really hear the hurt in her voice. She also said that now he's very angry and bitter all the time, when he hadn't been that way before.

This is destroying lives and familiies. It's past time we demand an end to this monstrosity.
