This while attempting to eliminate the police. Yeah; everyone really wants to lend a helping hand in rebuilding a city with no means of security!

1 I'm infamous for not contributing to political causes, even the ones on my own side. But if I look hard enough in my piggy bank I'm sure I can find a penny.

Damned if I'll send it to the boy mayor, though. OTH, it might be fun to send one, just to make a point. They probably have a "no cash contributions" policy these days, though, because of the COVID issues.

3 A guy I worked for (in the steel industry, long time ago) once received payment for a bet he won in the form of $40.00 worth of pennies, welded into a seamless steel box. Part of why I like working for him: he thought it was funny and kept it on his desk.
