A Win for Pipelines

Joe Biden may have killed the Keystone XL pipeline project, but he can't kill them all.

The Enbridge Line 3 Project has survived a legal challenge in Minnesota, clearing the path for the pipeline to be run into the U.S. from Canada.

It takes at least seven years for a pipeline to get approval from the time of initial filing. Most pipelines have been killed by legal challenges.

So this is a victory of sorts, but Biden may still well take action to stop this.

This is a replacement line. The old line could move 390 barrels per day (BPD) while the new line is expected to move 760,000 bpd.

Western Canadian oil production is expected to overrun existing pipelines by the end of this year.
