The news Biden has gone to Dover to "pay his respects" to the soldiers who fell in Afghanistan reminds me of Joseph Stalin paying his respects at Sergei Kirov's funeral. He even gave the oration.

I'm thinking this is Shakespearean tragedy played out globally. I sense geopolitical tectonic plates shifting in ways that are unimaginable. Just one: Our ally Great Britain's parliament unanimously condemned Biden and Johnson. The alliances that have held for decades are being shattered as it is increasingly revealed Western leaders' commitments to their own countries are compromised or in fact are wholly elsewhere.
