Way down yonder in Alabamy there is trouble a-brewing. Seems Jeff Bezos's propaganda rag The Washington Post has penned a hit piece on former 'Bama Judge Roy Moore, you know, the guy who beat the Establishment candidate for the U.S. Senate despite the best efforts and a huge pile of money from Mitch McConnell, and the Swamp is screaming for Moore's head. The charge? That a 32 year old Moore had forced an unwilling (I mention that because in Alabama as in Arkansas one never knows about the legality of early bloomers and their beaus) 13 year old girl into carnal acts. In short, he is accused of Weinerism, or Weinsteinism (Weinsteinerism?). Oh hell; he's accused of being a dirty pervert. Interesting. Moore was born in 1947, meaning this statutory rape happened in 1979, some thirty eight years ago. It seems a bit odd that this story should only break now, after the over three decades in which Moore has been in public life. Why wasn't this an issue when Moore first was made a judge? When he first was appointed to the Alabama Supreme Court? No; it is an 11th hour surprise. And it is most interesting; Moore is the founder of the Foundation for Moral Law and a devout Christian who made his fame by refusing to take down the Ten Commandments from his courthouse. Uh, that would have been the right time to make the rape allegations if they were true. Moore was very vulnerable then, when he was at odds with the Federal judiciary, who had ordered the Commandments removed. Why wasn't this accusation made at that time?
And right on cue three other gals come piling on, claiming consensual acts - actually just nonsexual dating - when they were of age (age 16 in Alabama) so they cannot be disproved. Amazing how fast they were found, when they have not been out there for all these decades.
Needless to say, the GOP scumbags are all calling for Moore to step aside and let Luther Strange take his rightful place. John McCain did not even bother to say "if true" but simply called for Moore to get out. McCain forgets his own false allegations.
The Leftwing hipster website Vox said of Moore "far afield from even the most conservative Republican currently in the Senate" and considers him a radical. This is, of course, why there will be an unprecedented attack on Moore from both the Left and the Republican Establishment. He is a game changer, a clean guy, a straight arrow.
I wrote an article for Canada Free Press in which I pointed out that the sexual harassment/assault charge is a prime tool of the left for destroying conservatives but that it was losing its power and that they had to throw Weinstein and Weiner to the wolves to reinforce its effectiveness. Much like a chess player may surrender a rook or bishop (or even queen) to win the game, the liberal establishment had to turn on one of their own for the greater good. By heightening people's awareness of sexual misconduct they have now freed themselves to bring back the old cannon. Funny how they didn't even wait until the elections were nigh to trot this moldy oldie out for their use.
(By the way, Author E. Michael Jones argues that what is happening in Hollywood is the application of the principle of the Scapegoat, the Jewish concept whereby a goat is killed as punishment for the sins of others. Hollywood is scapegoating Weinstein and Dustin Hoffman and
Kevin Spacey etc. to cover for their own sins. In point of fact everyone has known about the "casting couch" for almost a century yet now it is coming out. Why? I think so the Left can recapture the moral high ground on this issue and thus wield it as a scimitar to behead conservatives like Roy Moore.)
In his denial Moore has this to say:
The Judge has been a candidate in four hotly-contested statewide political contests, twice as a gubernatorial candidate and twice as a candidate for chief justice. He has been a three-time candidate for local office, and he has been a national figure in two ground-breaking, judicial fights over religious liberty and traditional marriage.
"After over 40 years of public service, if any of these allegations were true, they surely would have been made public long before now,â€
End quote.
Why indeed? Yet the GOP elites - who spent millions of dollars to defeat Moore and give the amnesty-loving RINO Strange the nod - immediately believe the claims. It's as if they have never encountered this tactic before. Have they forgotten Clarence Thomas, or even George H.W. Bush? It's not the nature of the evidence but the seriousness of the charge, especially when the Left, the media, the Democrats, and the GOP Establishment are all sailing in the same direction.
And so Moore receives his own head in his bed like Waltz in The Godfather. Funny how this tactic seems to have been laid out in advance.
