A Feature, not a Bug

High gasoline prices are not a "bug" in the view of the Biden Administration, but a "feature". Environmentalists with enough $$ to pay the premium are giddy, because high prices make expensive wind and solar energy more competitive. So, forget about the days when the most cost-saving ideas win in the marketplace, we are now in the era when government policies and regulations determine market prices. Hmmm... sounds like the old U.S.S.R., eh? How did that work out? It remains to be seen if Biden backs down as the mid-term elections approach. Americans will vote their pocketbooks first. Interesting times ahead.

I hope we're on the way to a real Democrat bloodbath come Election Day -- and Election Day 2024. If we indeed are, it will certainly be due in no small part to the increasing cost of energy to power our cars and heat our homes, and supply our grocery stores.
A problem is that, while Slow Joe basically shut down our energy sector in no more time than it took him to sign his order, even if he somehow "saw the light" and reversed himself now, it will take a long time to get things back to normal.

Coming as no real surprise the republican establishment is going to push the only real clown,among so many, that they claim has the only real chance to beat the democrat clown biden. This clown too should be resting in a clowns home, but isnt, ROMNEY!!! We Are DOOMED!

I hope the public remembers - but they probably won't, at least not everyone. Already the media is working to blame all of Biden's problems on this Ukraine war, and a lot of dimbulbs will fall for it.
And even if the GOP sweeps both houses of Congress then what? They will still try to "work with" Biden and Biden will get all the credit for what they accomplish. We saw this happen with Clinton. We saw this happen with Obama. Both were re-elected after being the walking dead politically come the off year election. Obama probably would have been elected to a third term, and so might well have Clinton.

Mike, I don't think the GOP Establishment is even that crazy to put Romney up, but they never cease to amaze me so maybe they will. No question they will push someRINO who "will be acceptable to all Americans" which is code for a guy who will go along to get along and let the country continue to die.

Yes, me too, Mike. Voting for McVain involved holding my nose. But I can't believe the GOP would be so clueless as to even put Romney into the primaries. What're they going to push, a Romney/Cheney ticket?

Well that is true Mike. I saw Romney on Fox News Sunday yesterday. Why would Fox put that idiot on? He has no value whatsoever. It's giving him exposure when he should be booted out of the party in the first place.
