Real Indian vs. Liz Warren and a fake wedding or two

I don't know whether to file this story as Hollywood Gossip or National Politics. With a tv reality star President in office, they are getting harder to tell apart

City officials in Cambridge, Massachusetts have ordered US Senate candidate Dr. Shiva Ayyudurai to take down a campaign sign criticizing his opponent, Sen. Elizabeth Warren.
The sign in question is posted on the side of a parked bus, and reads: ‘Only a REAL INDIAN can defeat the fake Indian.’ It also shows a picture of both candidates— the Bombay-born Ayyadurai in a suit, and Senator Warren shown wearing a photo-shopped Native American headdress...

Last month, she turned down a columnist’s request to take a DNA test to confirm her roots...

Cherokee genealogist Twila Barnes researched Warren’s history, and later wrote that "The problem with Warren’s story is that none of the evidence supports it.”...

Dr. Ayyudurai is an MIT grad who claims to have invented email in the 1970’s. He is an entrepreneur, scientist, and ex-husband of actress Fran Drescher, who formerly starred in "The Nanny.”

And I thought the Nanny was married to Mr. Sheffield. I guess that was a fake wedding. Wait. Here's what Wikipedia has to say...

Beginning in 2014, Ayyadurai was romantically connected with the actress Fran Drescher. On September 7, 2014, Ayyadurai and Drescher participated in a ceremony at Drescher's beach house. Both tweeted that they had gotten married,[70][71] and the event was widely reported as such.[72][73][74] Ayyadurai later said it was not "a formal wedding or marriage", but a celebration of their "friendship in a spiritual ceremony with close friends and her family".[75][76] The couple split up in September 2016.[77]

Okay, that explains the "wedding," I guess. Well at least Dr. Ayyurdurai is a real Indian born in Mumbai (formerly called Bombay) and an MIT graduate.
