An analysis of the cost of "green energy" to Californians.
Frome Wokespy:
"According to PRI’s analysis, California households will bear significant costs, estimated to be between $17,398 and $20,182 per household, to fund the state’s transition to alternative energy sources between 2025 and 2050.”
The state intends to spend approximately $246.7 billion to construct green energy infrastructure such as solar panels, wind turbines, electric vehicles, and charging stations to enable the transition to green energy. It will also use taxpayers’ money to decommission natural gas and nuclear power stations, which are cleaner and more reliable."
I cannot for the life of me understand what's wrong with the people in the Golden State. Is there lead in the water? Maybe it's been leaching into Napa and Sonoma and the wine is tainted?

France is just plain nuts, and most especially emmanuel "Micro-brain" Macron.
French President Macron Asks EU and USA to Drop Sanctions Against Al-Qaeda in Syria [/lin],
I mean, heck; Al Qaeda deserves to make a living too, right?
FTA:
PARIS — French President Emmanuel Macron called on the United States and the European Union to lift sanctions against Syria on Wednesday after hosting the Syrian leader Ahmed al-Sharaa on his first visit to Europe.
The French leader said Washington should "rush to lift sanctions,” maintain troops in Syria and then review the situation at a later date.
"The interest of all, including of the Americans, is today to act and accompany us in lifting sanctions on the Syrian people,” Macron said at a press conference alongside al-Sharaa.
Al-Sharaa, a former Al Qaeda member, has received a cautious welcome from the international community after his forces toppled brutal Syrian dictator Bashar Assad late last year.

The German scheme to spy on conservative policical enemies has collapsed after it became known in America and thanks to pressure from the Trump Administration.
The Gestapo/Stasi scheme to use German intelligence to spy on conservatives has led to a backlash against the government, and the new Mertz government is calling off the dogs, promising "heads will roll".
The primary opposition is the Alternative for Germany (AFD) party, which wants to restore sanity to immigration policy and market economics and end the German version of the Green New Deal.
German Interior Minister Nancy Faeser announced the scheme upon her removal from office after the election. She is a member of the Social Democratic Party (SPD), the radical leftists who formed part of the coalition govrnment. (The SPD was in power until 1920 and has seen significant decline as the German public has grown increasingly angry at all the Middle Eastern immigrants.)
Mertz is unlikely to pursue criminal charges against Freser or any other high level person involved, but he should.
From the Gateway Punidt article:
These police state tactics are more suited for Russia or Communist China, not Western Europe’s largest country.…
— Tom Cotton (@SenTomCotton) May 7, 2025
"I understand that liberal elites on both sides of the Atlantic loathe the AfD, but AfD’s platform has resonated with many Germans. Unsurprisingly so, since an agenda of strong borders, energy independence, and economic growth has appealed to our own electorate and may other Western democracies. Rather than trying to undermine the AfD using the tools of authoritarian states, Germany’s incoming government might be better advised to consider why the AfD continues to gain electoral ground and how German’s government can address the reasonable concerns of its citizens,” Cotton wrote.
Due to stringent privacy laws, German intel agencies have their hands tied and largely depend on the NSA for SigInt to prevent terror attacks in their own country.
Now, facing a lawsuit by the AfD, the German "Office for the Protection of the Constitution” (Bundesamt für Verfassungsschutz – BfV) today announced it will rescind the decision pending legal resolution.
Fortunately the Trump administration told Germany they would stop sharing intel with them if they pulled this little putsch. The Germans may have been sauer, but the Krauts capitulated.
This illustrates that the statist tendencies of Germany are alive and well. And Germany is perhaps the dominant power in the European Union. Is it any wonder the E.U. has become a cesspool of authoritarian thinking?

Britain prepares for war with Russia.
The International elites desperately want this war with the Russians, for reasons that are unclear. I suspect it is to destroy an alternate power block and thus make way for the coming world government. Russia would never submit to the rising tide of globalism and they know it. They are desperate to take the Russians out to remove this obstacle from their long-term plans.
That, at least, is MY view.
But of course they are playing with fire as Russia has the largest and most moder nuclear arsenal in the world. They will use it if necessary.
And if they don't I'm not so sure Europe CAN beat the Russians in a fair fight, despite the fact they have first world technology and more people. Europe is weak and vacillating and hasn't fought a war in many decades, while Russia is now battle-hardened and would be fighting a defensive war in a place n obody has successfully invaded since the Mongols. Good luck with that.
Can you imagine the French or Germans invading Russia? The French would demand a four day week of battle, with a month off in the summer. The Germans are more industrious but still are now basically weaklings who would probably give up after the first tough battle.
And the Brits would make their troops all DEI recruits with lots of women on the front lines, and trannies to boot. Oh, and they'd stop for tea every afternoon.
Good luck with that guys.

This is a novel idea! If it works we will probably see Democrats suing every conservative jurist on the bench, though.
America First Legal Sues Chief Justice Roberts Over Lawfare- "You Can’t Have Your Cake And Eat It Too”
FTA:
Ironically, the Judicial Conference and the Administrative Office have honored several "congressional oversight requests” by the far-Left lawmakers to aid them in going after Justices Thomas and Alito.
"When it comes to government transparency, you can’t have your cake and eat it too,” remarked Dan Epstein, America First Legal Vice President.
According to the lawsuit, Sen. Whitehouse and Rep. Johnson have for several years waged lawfare against Supreme Court Justices Thomas, Alito, and Kavanaugh, and in the process, enjoyed favorable legacy media coverage. Similarly, the Judicial Conference and the Administrative Office have acted as the "central levers” for the lawmakers’ persistent lawfare campaign.
"This lawfare has been led by Senator Sheldon Whitehouse and Representative Hank Johnson, relying upon an ideologically favorable legacy media to falsely accuse Justices Thomas and Alito of ethical improprieties. Their aim was simple: to chill the judicial independence of these Supreme Court Justices.”
The lawsuit explains that Whitehouse and Johnson have accused Justice Thomas of "acting willfully to violate the Ethics in Government Act and directed the U.S. Department of Justice to criminally investigate the matter.” Similarly, Sen. Johnson filed an ethics complaint against Justice Alito, accusing him of violating "several canons of judicial ethics.” The justices have been accused by far-left lawmakers of not being forthcoming about their financial relationships.
Meanwhile, AFLF argues that the Judicial Conference and the Administrative Office must comply with FOIA requests because they are not part of the judiciary but the executive branch and exercise executive powers, including issuing binding regulations.
"Thus, the Judicial Conference and Administrative Office exercise executive functions and are accordingly subject to FOIA. Accordingly, their refusal to comply with AFL’s FOIA request is unlawful.”
It also argues that the two bodies should be declared "independent agencies within the executive branch” and the President should have the authority to appoint and remove the Judicial Conference’s Presiding Officer and the Director of the Administrative Office."
This is a limited lawsuit over a specific case, but if it is successful it seems to me it will set a precedent and allow other plaintiffs to sue judges for other issues. At least that is how the Democrats will view it. Imagine how many lawsuits will be filed against Clarence Thomas, Or Sam Alito; they would be in court constantly. This isn't a good idea.
But I see now way of stopping this. Granted, if the case moves all the way up to the Supreme Court it's probably going to shoot craps, but still lawsuits aren't always about winning; many times they about harassment and bankrupting the sued person.
We'll see how this plays out.

Here is what Sharia looks like.
Yes, Mayor Eric "Fester" Adams is capitulating to the right of Islam to impose itself on the infidels by broadcasting the call to prayer over loudspeakers in public.
This is how Islam expands; by worming their way into a society, demanding their "rights" to bully and compel, then slowly forcing the populace under their thumbs in obedience to Sharia. In the end the public is nothing more than Dhimmi, non-Muslims subservient to the Muslims. In time most Dhimmi's convert so as to enjoy the benefits of being part of the ruling class.
It all starts with things like this. Adams is a fool to allow it.

Wisconsin State Employees Instructed to Obstruct ICE Agents
This is interference with law enforcement and should be treated as a criminal offense.
Why would state officials risk so much to protect criminals? This shows the whole illegal alien invasion was the cornerstone of the Democrats political empire strategy and they cannot allow it to end. They desperately need to overwhelm the majority of Americans, to replace Americans, so they can hold onto power.

Arizona's Democratic Governor Katie Robs, er, Hobbs has vetoed a bill requiring local and state law enforcement to cooerate with ICE in a specatcular middle finger to all the citizens of the great state of Arizona. People will die because this puta cares more about illegal aliens and the drug cartels than about the citizens of her own state.
Hobbslikesly stole her seat in the first place, I might add, as there was massive vote fraud in the election.
Here is the real kicker from the story:
???!!!
The Federal government has the SOLE authority to do this - not state or local governments. Immigration and border enforcement are entirely witnin the purview of the Federal government and she knows it. "Sanctuary cities" and refusing to cooperate with ICe is little more than sedition and anarchical lawbreaking.
Back during the Obama Administration the state of Arizona passed a law affirming Federal immigration law and making them state laws. The Obama Administration sued on the grounds that ONLY the Federal government has the authority to enforce immigration law. I can't find any specific comment by Hobbs, but I am quite certain she opposed that law at the time and on the same basis as did the Obama Administration. She had no concern for state's right back then, I have little doubt. Now suddenly she's John C. Calhoun on the issue.
The GOP can override her veto; hopefully they will do the right thing. And they need to use this, to shout it from the rooftops. Hobbs is up for re-election in 2026. This could be the nail in her coffin - if the Republicans don't foul it all up. They are great at that.

Joe Biden gave the go-ahead for law enforcement agencies to spy on Americans for no reason except their political affiliations, according to a recently declassified memo.
According to the article:
The disclosure came after Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard released an unredacted version of the Biden-era "Strategic Implementation Plan for Countering Domestic Terrorism.”
The document outlined sweeping authorities for the Department of Justice and the FBI, including guidelines that critics say lowered traditional standards for launching federal investigations into American citizens."
fin
This is clearly a gross abuse of power and undoubtedly a criminal act.
The article continues:
"According to the memo, agencies were instructed to "drive…executive and legislative action” on policies such as banning assault weapons, regulating "ghost guns,” and expanding surveillance of military personnel for potential recruitment into extremist activity.
The memo also directed agencies to identify and mitigate "xenophobia and bias,” including in the context of COVID-19 responses."
Bias and "xenophobia" are not crimes, nor is thinking the Second Amendment actually means what it says. That Biden's DOJ was instructed to treat it as such shows his whole Administration was indeed a junta, a regime, and abused their power in a spectacular way. Had this been done overseas by somebody else we would have called it out, sanctioned, and possibly removed via a "color revolution".
This is America and we have the Bill of Rights. Among them is the Fourth Amendment:
We also have the First Amendment which guarantees our right to freely speak our minds, and to assemble as we see fit.
Clearly this was an aggregious attempt to thwart those rights by our government.
I feared this when the "war on terror" led many to willingly surrender their rights to privacy and free expression in a vain quest to find the illusion of safety. As Benjamin Franklyn said:
And that is what we have gotten - what we deserve. We gave the government the keys to the kingdom and are then surprised when the King turns out to be a tyrant.
It's odd; I rememberwhen the Left was going bananas over these kinds of violations of American rights. For instance, here is the ACLU with their panties in a bunch over warrantless surveillance back when Bush was President. Odd how they had nothing to say when Obama was spying on everybody, or when Biden did this.
But this goes beyond probable cause to suspect a crime; it was the weaponization of the law against political opponents, plain and simple. People need to go to jail over this. And that includes the demented former President of the United States.
And they dare call TRUMP Hitler!
Is it any wonder they have tried to kill Donald Trump twice now? They were terrified of this getting out.

The American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) claims "climate protections" aka the Green Grift and DEI are "fundamental pillars of our free and democratic society.”
Odd; I don't find either mentioned anywhere in the American Constitution, nor in the British Magna Carta.
ACLU: The Rule of Law Is Non-Negotiable | Opinion – Newsweek
The Rule of Law isn't negotiable, which is why so many of us oppose both of these lawless initiatives; they violate the basic rules governing our society. THEY are the transgressors. International environmentalism is an attempt to overthrow the rights of both our citizens and our nation, and DEI is an attempt to make some citizens superior to others. Both are the antithesis of a free and democratic society. Both impose the will of a minority over the rest of us.

Having successfully renamed the Gulf of Mexico President Donald Trump is now setting his sights on international waters with a plan to rename the Persian Gulf "the Gulf of Arabia".
Actually, that has long been an alternate name for that particular body of water. But it's been called the Persian Gulf since the 16th century by the West, despite the fact most of the Arab world calls it the Gulf of Arabia.
It's pretty clear what Trump is doing; he's erasing Iran from the books with this. This is a not-so-subtle way of pressuring Iran into making a deal; come to the table or be forgotten.
This further isolates Shiite Iran from her Sunni Muslim neighbors; it's the Sunni's in the region who want the name change. This will exacerbate the divide between the two branches of Islam, of which Iran is the predominant Shiite power.
Internationally, the official name change has to ne determined by the International Hydrographic Organization, and that seems perhaps a bit unlikely, though the U.S. is a member. But a defacto name change in the U.S. will probably wind up official in the long run.
Right now Trump needs the good will of the Arab countries in the region (Iran is not Arab) and this will buy some. Trump has plans to broker a peace deal and fundamentally remake the political atmosphere of the Middle East, and for that he needs Arab countries - particularly Saudi Arabia - on board. He needs to keep the oil flowing as the U.S. ramps up production. He needs to politically and economically isolate Iran. This helps to do all of that.
It's actually a brilliant manuever; I would never have thought of it myself.
So Gulf of Arabia it is!
Oh, by the way, Trump has the Houthis begging for a deal after he made it clear he would wipe them all out. Iran backs the Houthis, who have seriously crippled world trade by attacking shipping at the entrance to the Red Sea (and thus between the Mediterranean and the Indian Ocean.) Trump is squeezing Iran on all fronts.

India and Pakistan are now at war.
India launched retaliatory missile strikes on Pakistan after a massacre of 26 Indian and Nepalese tourists in Kashmir. The retaliatory strike killed 31 Pakistanis and has led to the government of Pakistan vowing vengeance.
— Ministry of Defence, Government of India (@SpokespersonMoD) May 6, 2025
Pakistan claims to have taken out at least five Indian aircraft during the strike.
In the usual Islamic fashion the terrorists who murdered the tourists were masked so as to give Pakistan plausible deniability. Pakistan claims it had nothing to do with the attacks.
Perhaps not, but I am certain they did not shed many tears over them either. Actually I'm sure India did not go off half-cocked and start a war with Pakistan if they weren't sure it was them.
At any rate the Pakistani government's National Security Committee issued this statement:
"The Armed Forces of Pakistan have duly been authorized to undertake corresponding actions in this regard,” the statement said, adding, "The nation stands galvanized and resolute in the face of any further aggression.”
There has never been any love lost between Pakistan and India. Once both were part of the British colony of India, when the subcontinent gained independence it was divided into two countries - India and Pakistan - and Pakistan was a divided nation, with East and West pakistan split by India. East Pakistan gained it's independence from Pakistan early on, becoming Bengladesh. (There were a few other small places that became independent too when India was created, like Bhutan and the now-defunct Sikkhim, but they were small and relatively unimportant.) Pakistan was created for the Muslims and India for the Hindus. The divorce was quite acrimonious; marched in huge columns east and south, Muslims norht and west, and enormous riots between the two sides broke out as the two columns passed each-other. Britain was the only thing that had kept their hatred of each-other in check over the years, and with Britain out the two competing religions almost fought a genocidal war. One of the sticking points was and remains Kashmir, a northern province.
Kashmir wasn't given to either India or Pakistan when the British left; it was left up to the ruling maharaja, a guy named Hari Singh,to choose which country his fiefdom would join. He chose India, and this led to an immediate civil war between the Muslims there and the Hindus in 1947. (By the way, the name Pakistan is an amalgamation of the name of five provinces - Punjab, Afghania, Kashmir, Sindh & Baluchistan- so Pakistan understandably believes they are the rightful owners of Kashmir, as it's in their name.) There has been terrorism and war between Hindus and Muslims in Kashmir ever since.
And when India invented the atomic bomb the Pakistanis vowed to make their own, and they did with A.Q. Khan's program. Now both are nuclear armed. (Khan got much of his tech from the West through subtrefuge; India invented it all on their own.)
So two nuclear powers are now at war and this thing could escalate very quickly.
The Indian Defense Minister stated that the attacks carried out were aimed entirely at terrorist infrastructure and camps.
India and Pakistan have fought four wars since their independence, three over Kashmir and other Himalayan territories.
In 2001 Pakistani terrorists invaded India's parliament, shooting the MP's with machine guns and killing 6 people. Terrorist attacks against India are common. The inverse is not at all true.
(BTW is it any wonder Barack Hussein Obama loved what he calls "Puckistan"? What does that say about our former President.)
Given that Pakistan is full of terrorists, and given that they come out of the jihadist ideology (where don't Muslims fight with their neighbors? Wherever they hold a majority, or even a strong minority, they fight with their neighbors and launch terrorist attacks) who doubts for a minute Pakistan started this?
Maybe we should send Obama to mediate this, as he loves Pukistan and perhaps the Muslims there would listen to him?
At any rate this is looking tobe the big one there.

This is what you get when you let RINO Republicans have power.
Trump backed Thom Tills for Majority Leader and now Tillis plans to oppose Ed Martin, Trump's pick for the D.C. Circuit.
Bot only can this tank Tillis' nomination, but who fills the vacancy could wind up being decided by none other than James Bozoberg, er, Boasberg, the judge who has it in for Donald Trump. That's because Trump appointed Martin as interim to the D.C. District Court and his term expires on May 19. Martin could be replaced by someone chosen by Boasberg, who oversees this particular D.C. circuit. The law is so structured.
Martin has prioritized fighting actual crime over political persecutions. The Left hatest hat.
So Tillis may wind up putting another deep stater into power.
I knew Tillis would be little improvement over Mitch McConnell and it appears I was right.
It is theorized Boasberg might appoint Jack "the Ripper" Smith to the job, you know, the man who went after Donald Trump.
Apparently the fact Martin doesn't think J6 was that big a deal is disqualifying to Tillis.
Now more than ever we need Trump to lay the law down with Tilis; he needs to know Trump will ruin him if he doesn't do as he's should.
