Nice Work When You Can Get It
Timothy Birdnow
Los Angeles want to make the minimum wage
thirty dollar an hour,, essentially paying unemployables almost as much asjourneyman plumbers or school teachers make per year for no-skill jobs.
Of course the end result is these jobs will be eliminated because the labor provided isn't worth this sort of coin.
Hell; I might have to get a job at McDonalds out there!
They are batcrap crazy in California and the fact that people are leaving the Golden State only makes them double down.

I just saw that Yamaha's motorcycle business is leaving California for greener business pastures, moving their HQ to Georgia. I didn't read the whole article but I doubt that Gavin Newsom could be reached for comment.

Republican Quislings
Timothy Birdnow
When the prophet Nehemiah rebuilt the walls of Jerusalem after the Jews returned from their Babylonian exile he faced very stiff opposition. Samaritans didn't want this to happen because they were wandering into the city and committing crimes. But a lot of the returning Jews didn't want it either and probably for reasons quite similar to those being given now by the Paleo-right against the war in Iran. Nehemiah had to station guards on the wall and used more manpower guarding than he did for labor. There were people sabotaging the effort.
How is it Trump's situation is any different from Nehemiah's? Trump is trying to keep us safe as Nehemiah was trying to keep Jerusalem safe.
Like a dog returns to it's vomit the GOP returns to it's self-destructive ways. Because we got burned by George W. Bush and his nation-building schemes we think that is a general principle and we can NEVER fight under any circumstance. But the reality is, as Rush Limbaugh used to say, this is a world governed by the aggressive use of force. If we don't do it they will do it to us. Anyone who has ever been a schoolkid and had to deal with a bully should know that.
This is why the Republicans are usually the losers. They refuse to stick together.
In addition to Thomas "Kentucky Sour Mash" Massie and Warren Davidson, the Ohio Browneye, er, Buckeye we have:
Rep. Tim Burchett, R-Tenn., told The Hill Saturday he is "concerned” the operation could become an endless conflict, urging voters to "stay concerned” and "be vigilant.”
"Hold our feet to the fire. Keep us honest on that issue,” Burchett said.
Rep. Kevin Kiley, R-Calif., who faces a competitive reelection race, said the "best possible outcome” would be an "expeditious and effective fulfillment of the mission.”
Rep. Don Bacon, R-Neb., said Congress may need to revisit a war powers vote if the operation stretches on.
"If it’s going to go long, I think by definition, you got to have a war powers resolution and seek our support,” Bacon told the outlet. "I don’t think I’d want to vote for another Iraq thing again, be there for 20 years.”
This sort of meddling with foreign policy itself, as opposed to letting the President handle this crisis then looking at this, speaks volumes. NOT that they don't have a duty to advise and consent, but that they would openly talk about joining the Democrats at this critical time. If they were just talking among themselves it would be another matter. These clowns went public.
Which means they are trying to triangulate to please voters in their districts and curry favor with the media. This is not principled so much as strategic triangulation.
It is disgraceful.
Time was politics ended at the shore and during any war there was perhaps criticisms of how they are executed but never threats against the prosecution of that war, nor threats to defund it. The Democrats started that with Vietnam and it's now in their DNA. But the Republicans are morphing into Democrats and have been for a long time.
Why second-guess the President now, during the heat of battle? Trump is on record saying he won't put boots on the ground (I am soooo sick of that phrase) and I believe him. He doesn't need to. And as our friend Mike pointed out, Trump probably will be able to get Arabian sandels on the ground there instead.
Yes, we will have SHOES on the ground eventually, as Trump will go into the country after the theocracy falls with businessmen and advisers and whatnot. But not with boots; we are not going to occupy Iran as we did Iraq. Colin Powell's "you break it you buy it" was nonsense and it cost us. We didn't need to buy anything.
But this situation was untenable with Iran and this had to happen at some point. Trump isn't a guy to kick cans down the road; he's a doer, not a talker.
So why speculate about something that isn't likely to happen anyway, and this while the crisis is upon us?
Again, it's disgraceful. These are legislators from his own party, not some schlubs on social media.
I wouldn't be upset if each and every one of these jackasses were primaried.

Yes, Illegals Vote
Timothy Birdnow
FBI Director Kash Patel
@FBIDirectorKash
The FBI and our partners arrested an individual illegally in the U.S., charged with voting in the last 5 presidential elections - each time falsely claiming he was a U.S. citizen to vote
How many others are out there and have been voting all along? I am sure they are legion.
Oh, the guy is named Mahady Sacko and he's from Mauritania. He even voted after being given deportation orders.

Cutting the Federal Workforce
Timothy Birdnow
Trump and DOGE shrunk the government and did so without seriously disrupting anyone's life or livelihood.
President Donald Trump and the Department of Government Efficiency's (DOGE) efforts to reduce the federal government's workforce were seemingly reflected in recently released data from the U.S. Office of Personnel Management (OPM).
The OPM's data shows that the government's civilian workforce shrank by 12% between September 2024 and January 2026, going from a headcount of 2,313,216 to 2,035,344.
Separate data, also released by the OPM, shows that the majority of employees who left during that time did so voluntarily rather than being forced out, Reuters reported. The outlet also noted that administrative staff, customer service representatives and IT managers were at the top of the list of positions that left once Trump returned to office.
Granted, that is just spitting in the ocean, but it was a great start. Hopefully he'll shrink it by over fifty percent by the time he leaves office.
I wish Musk would have stayed on for the fight; he was the driving force behind DOGE and thus behind the whold thing.

Why Trump will Fail in Iran; a Christian Perspective
Timothy Birdnow
As this is Sunday I thought I'd give my take on the Iran war from my Catholic point of view.
It will fail.
Oh, not militarily and perhaps not even politically, but it will fail because it is the key to the prophecies of Revelation. When Armageddon is positioning there will be four distinct coalitions at war who will meet in the Kidron Valley aka Har Meggido. One will be the King of the South, which would likely be the Arabic world. The second is Gog and Magog who are actually the most obvious to us as Gog and Magog were tribes that lived on the north shore of the Black Sea in ancient times and that is clearly Russia. Magog was an associated tribe, a vassal of Gog, which tells you that the Russian sphere of influence would be pretty much the same and would be one of the four power blocks in the final battle. Third is the Antichrist's kingdom, which is not assigned a position on the compass. That makes sense if we assume it is the so-called Western World, which includes places like Australia and the U.S. and Canada in addition to Europe. The Antichrist aka the Beast is a man who leads this coalition of the damned and it is made clear who it is because it is described as having "seven hills" which is clearly Rome. It is a revived Roman Empire. But that doesn't mean it is an actual Roman Empire with emperors and proconsuls and the like, but rather the spirit of the empire, meaning a pagan mix of expansive government and military might. The final participant is "the King of the East".
The king of the East isn't identified but who could it be? If Iran isn't the king itself it certainly is going to be WITH the king because Iran is due east of Israel. When the King of the East comes with an army of 200,000,000 men as the Bible predicts he will pass through Iran, no question.
So what would motivate such a king to send so large an army?
Right now we are strangling China with the closure of the Strait of Hormuz and while they are not yet desperate (remember, they were stockpiling oil for the last few months which suggests they knew this was coming) but if they were to BECOME desperate they would perhaps decide to open that strait by force. They simply have to have that oil. China has believed this is their century, and they aren't going to let that dream evaporate. They need oil, they need a clear path to the Mediterranean, and they need a big military victory to prove they aren't just a maker of cheap goods.
China is what actually starts Armageddon, or at least it's the Chinese invasion that lights the fuse.
I can see them doing this. And I can see everyone else moving in to stop the Chicoms. And I can see Russia riding to China's aid because otherwise they would be next if the West decided to fight.
So is this about to happen now? Are we on the cusp of the Parousia? (That's Second Coming for those who don't know the word.)
I think not. There are missing elements. For instance, there has to be a number of plagues first, and while we've had a few we haven't had the real nasty ones yet - like two separate "stars" falling form Heaven, one a fireball and the other a bringer of plague which poisons a third of the waters. We also haven't had the revealing of the antichrist and I know some folks try to squeeze Trump into that role, but REALLY! Trump is fighting for Christ's Church even if he is not a perfect man while the opposing side fights to reject Christ's Church. But there's more; Trump isn't interested in conquest. And the new economic order with a cashless system that works off of a "mark" on your hand or forehead has not come yet. And Trump did not come into office in an unlawful manner as the Antichrist is described as doing in the Book of Ezekial. There are other signs that have yet to be fulfilled. Oh, and Trump may like the girls but he is not homosexual, which the Bible suggests the Antichrist would be, saying he foregoes the natural use of women. And then there is the miracle where the Antichrist has a mortal head wound but miraculously recovers.
So this means Trump is fighting a battle that he may win but it won't remove the poison from Iran; it will remain there until the battle is enjoined in some fashion. But he might stabilize things for a while, which is often all you can do.
But it's coming and Iran will be a part of the King of the East, no question.
Another thing; the Old Testament predicts that the Tigris and Euphrates rivers will dry up miraculously so the King of the East may cross with all his men. That is a contingency plan the Turks drew up in the event of a major war in the region - diverting the headwaters of those rivers to dry up the land.
So the alignment is all set and the players are largely in place. But there are a few things that need to happen first.
What happens when Donald Trump is gone? If the Democrats take back power they will rig the system so they never lose again, I assure you. And if we should have another dope like Joe Biden this could get very sticky indeed. And if we should get a monster in sheep's clothing? It could then be doomsday.
But not yet.

Norway Embassy Bombed
Timothy Birdnow
This tells us that the sleeper cells are activating but they don't have much to activate in the way of competent military capabilities.
But don't get too comfortable; Biden let a LOT of Iranians into the country and they are probably working to coordinate some sort of domestic attack on us, probably one that is quite nasty. Watch the soft targets; amusement parks, for instance, or hospitals, and of course schools are always easy pickings.
I do not expect Iran's regime to go down without a fight. That there has been no really major attack suggests they aren't ready to fall just yet and are waiting for their moment. Attacking us indiscriminately would cause a political backlash here and if the Mullahs know anything at all about the U.S. they would understand they cannot afford that. You don't beat Americans by pissing them off. You beat Americans by wearing them down over time.
The Iranian strategy of terrorizing their neighbors to get them out of the fight was foolish and has failed. Now they are going to have no choice but bribg the fight to us. I expect more of this in short order.
That's why these three Mullahs issued fatwahs against us recently; they need to put a religious impramateur on attacks on the U.S. Before that most Muslim Iranians wouldn't risk their lives in attacks; now they are required to in order to go to Islamic heaven and get their 72 virgins and a mule. (Does anyone else think that having 72 wives would be more like Hell than Heaven? It's like the Star Trek episode where the Enterprise was taken by a race of androids and a man named Harry Mud was their leader. In the end they reprogrammed the androids and left Mud in their care - and built at least five hundred copies of his nagging shrew of a wife to keep him company for the rest of his days. Sounds like what these Islamic martyrs will get. At any rate just keeping up with servicing 72 women would be exhausting an lead to genital inflammation and the joy of it would turn to agony. I believe God gives you what you want - be careful what you wish for.)

Strategic Assassinations
This from Mike:
Me thinks Trump intentionally took out the IRGC leadership before demanding an unconditional surrender knowing there would no clear leader to surrender. Yesterday the powerless President of Iran declared they would no longer target their neighbors and today the IRGC is targeting their neighbors. Invasion of Iran as in boots on the ground could come from these neighbors leaving the US as advisors and giving air support and free Israel to finish the job in Lebanon as the President of Lebanon wants hezbollah gone. That would only leave the IRGC being protected by the UK and living in the UK to deal with.

Is Thomas Massie Corrupt?
Timothy Birdnow
But NOW he's apparently discovered that the Constitution gives war-making power ONLY to Congress even while the President is Commander in Chief of the armed services and is tasked with making the nation safe. Oh, and every President since Washington has exercised this power onoccasion.
So what gives? Why has Massie suddenly changed in this way?
this may give us the answer.
Our friends at Canada Free Press are doing the work Americans Just Won't Do and they have learned:
New FEC filings reveal Rep. Thomas Massie received several max-level $7,000 donations from Mahrouq
Also backed Ilhan Omar, Ro Khanna, Cori Bush, Keith Ellison, and ActBlue with 79% of his overall donors also giving to Democrats
Fin
Mahrouq is the name of a poorly identified donor to the Democrats - for big money. Massie is receiving donations from the same people who support ACT BLUE.
And who is this Mahrouq? Sounds like a foreign Muslim to me, although I suppose he could be a Somali.
Is that why Massie made repeated
calls for ICE to get out of Minnesota? Was he profiting from the con game going on there with Somali day care centers?
Looks like Massie has been bought by the enemy. Sold his soul.

Kiss it Goodbye Cassidy
Timothy Birdnow
Cassidy Hutchinson, that Puta on the Potomac, has FINALLY been referred to the DOJ for criminal charges stemming from her lie about Donald Trump's reaction to the election of 2020 and her claim he assaulted a secret service agent. She testified, under oath, that Trump had tried to grab the steering wheel in "the Beast" aka his limo when the secret service told him they wouldn't take him to the J6 protests for security purposes. It was not true.
Cassidy went before the J6 and told these lies, which is a felony.
The turncoat former Trump aid has made a lot of money and won a lot of attaboys from the mefia and the Democrats for betraying her boss and telling a brazen, ridiculous lie about him. It's now time she paid the price.
You can't hide from justice. It finds you - in this world or the next.

Big Win in Court over Resettlement
Timothy Birdnow
The notoriously liberal Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals has
sided with the Trump Administration, agreeing the President has the legal authority to suspend refugee resettlement in the United States.
This is a big win in court.
Pro-immigration groups had won an injunction in a lower court to stop Trump from indefinitely suspending the resettlement of aliens in America on the legal basis of "girls just wanna have fun" Or "I'm rubber you're glue" or whatever other woefully ridiculous concept they were able to employ. Fortunately the panel of the 9th Circuit knew this was a bridge too far and that the President has very broad authority in these matters.
I am of the opinion that these nuisance lawsuits are designed to tie up career government lawyers so they can't go after more important matters. Normally you can't do that; the government has too much money and can stay at it. But this isn't about bankrupting anyone as it would be to private citizens, but rather just to waste time.
At any rate a win's a win.

Paxton "I'll Quit if Cornyn Passes SAVE"
Timothy Birdnow
Ken Paxton tells John Cornyn he'll
drop out of the race for the Senate if Cornyn commits to one simple thing - passing the SAVE Act.
He wants Cornyn to drop his objections to the talking filibuster and thus push the measure through. Naturally the RINO Cornyn is unwilling to go along.
Paxton states:
I would consider dropping out of this race if Senate Leadership agrees to lift the filibuster and passes the SAVE America Act."
John Cornyn is a coward who has refused to support abolishing the filibuster to pass this bill. Now, Fake News reporters and the establishment are trying to destroy me with misinformation," he went on.
The truth is clear: No one has been more loyal to Donald Trump than me—fighting the stolen 2020 election, being in Mar-a-Lago when he announced his 2024 campaign, and standing with him in NY in the face of lawfare.
For the good of our country and for the good of passing President Trump's agenda, I am determined to help him get this done.
He's right; Cornyn and the other squishy Republicans don't want to push this forward because they fear the repercussions down the road. They are more worried about their personal long-term political viability than about the country.
I hope and pray Paxton cleans Cornyn's clock in the runoff.
I caught Karl Rove the other day saying Paxton can't win because of "baggage" which essentially means he thinks we should let the Democrats choose our candidates. Rve knows there was a plot to undermine Paxton precisely because he was a danger to them. But in typical Rovian fashion he called for Paxton to bow out, saying Cornyn would win and was the greatest thing since sliced bread. The RINO wing is still very powerful in the GOP. Shoot; Rove sits on the board of Fox News! With people like that working behind the scenes is it any wonder we couldn't move the ball at all until Trump showed up?
Go Pax Man!

What IS it about these damn Texans?
Posted by: Dana Mathewson at March 07, 2026 10:23 PM (wQ5RW)

I don;'t know Dana.
Most people think of Texas as a bright red state because of their proud and rather combative spirit, but the reality is Texas was a purple state when I was growing up, not red although not fully blue either. We turned it red by electing a bunch of weak RINO types. Now the Conservatives are slowly turning from pink to red and yet the GOP there is still pink to purple and it's going to be a big fight to unseat those fannie kissers.
And of course Texas has unleashed Jasmine Crockett on us which tells us the state is still a long way from safe. If Texas goes so goes the Republic.

The Three Witches of the East
Timothy Birdnow
Three Fatwahs, no waiting!
These were the big three clerics in Iran and their proclamation to keel Americans is now compulsory on faithful Shiite Muslims everywhere.
The author of this piece - Michael Snyder, argues this is a huge deal and maybe it is, but isn't this basically what they've been doing all along? Seems to me this won't take up too much of our time.
I love how they act as if they are victims in this; they are the ones who have waged endless war on Israel and "the Great Satan" as they call us. This is entirely of their own making and deep down these fatuous fathead fatwah peddlers know it too.

Brilliant point Mike! That hadn't occurred to me!
It would be a very sound strategy indeed. Iran has just lost any sympathy it had and this also illustrates to the region they cannot be trusted by anybody and that the only safe Iran is a toppled Iran.
It's just a pleasure watching a professional foreign policy being played out, and especially one as brilliantly strategized as this!

Stealing Seats
Timothy Birdnow
Take a look at
this photograph. Is it a high school graduation photo from Iran? A dating ap from Afghanistan?
No, it's a photo of Lakeisha M. Alson, the REPUBLICAN candidate for the state senate in North Carolina.
Imra'a' Alson is a lifelong Muslim, but more importantly a lifelong Democrat, who ran as a Republican to utilize North Carolina's open primary system as a loophole.
Now take a look
at this. The only difference is the color of the sheet.
Democrats never change, do they?
Alson ran unopposed in the primary and is now the Republican candidate for the state senate.
At any rate this girl in the hood is running as a Republican, as is another Democrat named Katie Barr it’s "the only way to kick these corrupt cowards out of office.” She claims that Republicans have "rigged the maps” to ensure they will come out victors "every me.”
Barr’s website explains. who states:
"The general election has already been decided. So - the primary is the only competition for this job,”
This was inevitable since the Democrats are truly desperate to win seats at any cost and failing that they need to subvert them. This is what the Democrats have done to Republicans for a long time.
Who here remembers Rush Limbaugh's "Operation Chaos" where he encouraged Republicans to vote in open primaries for Hillary Clinton just to bloody up Barack Obama? Rush didn't devise this strategy - he simply borrowed it from the Democrats, who had been doing it for some time. Republicans rarely use the rules to their advantage in this way; it's not how our side thinks. We beleve in rules and laws because we believe in order and that there is in fact a moral right and wrong. They do not, which is why they will do anything it takes.
Like run a radical leftist woman as a Republican to steal a seat they couldn't win in a fair fight. And we let them do it.
There are ways around this; years ago the GOP in Missouri declared the primary null and void and held their own elections via caucus because too many Democrats were changing their registration just to tamper with our elections. I don't know North Carolina law but I would think something similar could be done.
At any rate this is where we are at; the Democrats are now pretending to be Republicans to steal power. That has to stop.
If the NC GOP can't call a caucus and rid us of this meddlesome yeast (infection) then they should run an independent candidate against her and endorse that candidate.

Disrupt the Networks
Timothy Birdnow
I am convinced that this was a politically-motivated scheme to steal and launder vast sums of taxpayer cash back to the Democrats. I suspect the Democrats would be a minority party if they weren't always flush with money stolen from the public and laundered in just this way. This is but the tip of a vast iceberg and we are the SS Titanic.
We need to move faster on this investigation; if we start exposing this stuff and prosecuting it to the fullest we can break the web of dark money flowing to the Progressive/Left radicals. And if we do that we can finally have free and fair elections without thumbs on the scales.
American politics is an illusion, a magic show, and has been for decades. It is fueled by all sorts of dark money, which means it either circumvents scrutiny but comes from donors who have no business donating - like the Chicoms - or it is money stolen from taxpayers and laundered to the Democrats. It is aided by a complicit propaganda machine that is ostensibly privately owned but it in lockstep and seeks the overthrow of America in favor of a socialist New World Order. The public has long opposed much of what they are getting but don't know who is to blame, or how things went the way they did, and too many Americans still believe the mainstream media, despite obvious examples of them lying to us. (Covid for instance, or the Trump Russian Collusion hoax.)
For the first time in ages we have people emerging who won't just take their cut and turn a blind eye, and with the advent of citizen journalism we have outlets for information that were previously denied us. Now we can fight back.
So the DOJ needs to get moving on this. The sooner we get these things broken to the public the sooner we can disrupt the networks and free America from the tyranny of special interests and fabian socialism.

Trump's Four D Chess
Timothy Birdnow
And this is not just China but the whole world.
As he points out Trump has squeezed the Chicoms on oil. Having cut off Venezuelan oil he now has cut off Iranian to the Chinese, and this has far-reaching implications. China cannot function without a lot of oil and this is a sizable chunk of their industrial power involved. But this also helps to defund the Russians as the Chicoms can't really buy Russian oil because it first flows through India where it is refined. So no refined oil is coming to the Chinese, even though they share a long border with Russia. They can no more use Russian crude than a diner can eat his prime steak raw; the diner winds up with salmonella or worms and so does the Chinese economy.
Of course it's rare earth elements are a big matter too, which is why Trump squeezed Greenland so hard; he wanted an alternative source. In fact he's been finding them in a number of places and the Chinese monopoly is breaking. Without their control of rare earth elements the Chicoms can't manipulate the cost of electronics, forcing us to accept their goods over homemade gadgets.
Meanwhile Trump has now cut off the supply of military drones and other weaponry he Putin used to receive for oil. Russia won't be able to continue to prosecute the war in Ukraine. (I've long said the key was to defund Russia and Trump appears ready to o so.)
But this raises the price of oil, does it not? Yes, but short term and in the process American oil companies have the funding to expand operations here in the U.S., money they didn't have before but needed. Oil exploration is expensive, and oil extraction from fracking even more so. Our oil industry was always just marginally competitive for that reason. But now we can build it up enough to weather the coming drop in price.
Meanwhile the Europeans are losing their own sources of oil and gas, and this forces them back to the American camp; no more playing footsie with their Celestial lovers in the Orient.
Trump is truly a man who knows what he is doing - he's way ahead of every other "leader" in the Western world and probably the Eastern world too.
Of course there is danger, but isn't there always? If something should happen to Mr. Trump, and if Mr. Vance is unable to step in adequately (he could be paralyzed by some sort of bogus "crime" the CIA invents) this thing could unravel and with it a world war could start. Imagine if the Chinese decided to open the strait of Hormuz? This particular scenario has a stark resemblance to what is seen in the Book of Revelations.
But be that as it may Trump is spanking our enemies and anyone who is honest has to admit that. And it was long overdue.

If Trump can put the squeeze on China, 70 to 80 percent of what Amazon sells will no longer be available. Time to invest in South America because that is where the next industrial revolution will take place. If some visionary can unite the South American countries they have the resources to replace China just like China did to Japan.

No doubt Mike; Latin America is ripe with promise. IF they keep the socialists out of power down there that is.
My money has always been on India supplanting China, but that could be a mixed blessing.
As you say Dana that guy in Argentina isn't doing too bad.
When I was in college I took a Latin American history course and Argentina was discussed. At the beginning of the 20th century all the smart money was on Argentina becoming the next United States; it has similar topography, all of the natural resources the U.S. had, and was blessed with being a place that would be very hard to invade, so they didn't have to spend a lot on defense. It didn't pan out because Argentina adopted Peronism and that fascist/socialist system they put in place drained the economy and it never recovered.

Iran Bragged About Having 11 Nuclear Devices
Timothy Birdnow
I have no doubt this is so. Iran has long had the bomb, in my opinion. They just haven't done a physical test of it.
[link]https://nypost.com/2026/03/03/us-news/iran-claimed-to-have-enough-uranium-for-11-nuclear-bombs-during-geneva-talks-us-envoy-witkoff-says/]Iran Claimed to have Enough Uranium for 11 Nuclear Bombs During Geneva Talks: U.S. Envoy Witkoff Says
Iran has been working on this for years, and they had the infrastructure. The enrichment process IS the nuclear program, I might add.
What Iran has been doing is waiting to roll this out for a time when they have the other things they need - mainly, a proper delivery system we can't take out. They have been experimenting with implosion devices which is far more complicated than the Hiroshima-style gun detonator. But it reduces the weight considerably and gives more bang for the buck.
I would add Iran is very good with computer technology and the U.S. tests nukes on computers, not with underground or air burst detonations. Iran may well do the same.
They have been stalling for time until they have themselves in a position where we can't take the whole program out. That was and remains the goal of the regime there.
So we are not out of the woods. Iran could well find a way to deliver a nuke against us somehow, or against "The Little Satan".
OH, and while we are at it, let me remind everyone that the Department of Homeland Security is STILL not funded by the Democrats, this while we are at war with a nation that has made terrorism an art form. If we get hit by Iran in some terrorist attack it will be blood on THEIR hands! Is New York City, or L.A. worth Trump Derangement Syndrome? It could well come down to that.

You noticed that most, if not all, of the Democrats acted as if Iran has never posed a threat to us. Well, Duh!

Hitlers end plan was to totally flatten Germany because the German people let him down. My fear is that the IRGC will do to Iran what Hitler had wanted for Germany using their small nuclear cache.

Yeah Dana; the cognitive dissonance is astonishing. So too the hypocrisy. There was a time when politics ended at the water's edge, but the Democrats effectively killed that during the Iraq war. Vietnam was the precursor to that too.
I would add they are fairly desperate about this because they know if Trump succeeds they will lose. So they are trying to make America fail overseas. That meets the definition of treason.
They just might Mike. They are still waiting for that guy to climb up out of the well and bring an end to history and if it takes blowing up all the oil reserves and maybe using those 11 nukes on their own people, well that's a price they are willing to pa

Retirement Mania in Congress
Timothy Birdnow
31 Republicans are not seeking re-election to Congress while 21 Democrars are doing likewise.
This makes it more difficult for Republicans to retain control of the House in particular.
Why are so many leaving? Because, thanks to DOGE and the digging being done by the FBI and Trump allies I suspect a lot of Republicans (and of course Democrats) no longer find "government service" attractive; the fringe benefits are drying up, the girls can't be had as easily without fear of exposure, the dirty back room deals are coming to light. Who wants to work in an environment where you actually have to do something and face stiff opposition? The gravy train is ending.
But of course this isn't a normal election and there is reason for optimism - and concern. We really don't know how this will play out. It depends on having good candidates and having enough money. Trump has disrupted the Democrat money machine in a fundamental way. He's also exposed the fraud machines the Democrats use, and exposed illegal alien voting. The dirty tricks employed by the Donks may not work this time.
It's going to be a wild ride; buckle up!

I Got Laid Off with Over a Third of a Million People and All I got was this Lousy Tee-shirt
Timothy Birdnow
A good start!
And while these particular leeches will no doubt continue to vote Democrat they won't continue to donate Democrat, at least not at the levels they had been.
Has anyone noticed any decline in services as a result of a third of a million layoffs? Didn't think so.

Butt Muncho Killing the World Cup
Timothy Birdnow
40% of ticketholders to the World Cup in Mexico have canceled as a result of the whole Butt Muncho affair.
I'll be honest; I really don't care that much about this story except I soooo wnted to use the phrase "Butt Muncho".
At any rate anyone stupid enough to go to Mexico now probably shouldn't be there in the first place. It's what happens when you have what amounts to a civil war going on between the Cartels - who are basically running their own countries inside Mexico - and the government there, a socialist government, I might add.

Interesting. Look at all of the once popular places to visit that are now embroiled in war and too dangerous to travel to. Mexico, Ecuador, Venezeula, Panama, anywhere in North Africa, India, Pakistan... Longest list in my lifetime, which is not a short one.

Indeed so Bill. War in places like Ceylon (now Sri Lanka) and everywhere else that was interesting and good.

Crockett, Crenshaw Creamed, Cornyn Collapsing
Timothy Birdnow
Jasmine Crockett went off like a rocket - but she barely got off the launch pad.
The crazy Congresssista got soundly beaten by her equally crazy but less obnoxious opponent Rep. James Talarico, a largely unknown state rep who ran against her in the U.S. Senate primary for the Democrats. While Crockett isn't out exactly she now has to run in a competitive district and will probably lose her House seat as well as the Senate.
At any rate it's kind of sad as Crockett had no chance of becoming Senator; she is only popular in her home district.
In other news John Cornyn, despite spending gargantuan sums of money, is forced into a runoff with Texas AG Ken Paxton.
And in a final bit of good news RINO Republican House member Dan "Melonhead" Crenshaw lost his party's nomination for the House of Representatives after Donald Trump refused to endorse the so-called "Eyepatch McCain". Crenshaw was notorious for siding with Democrats in many clear-cut instances over Trump and his own party caucus. Go woke go choke Dan!
All in all it was a pretty good night.
A very good night, I might add: Al Green, the obnoxious cane-pointing jerk who was twice expelled from Trump's addresses to Congress and who sought to impeach the President
lost his seat, losing to his Democratic challenger.

In a perfect world Paxton would hand Cornyn his head, but since this isn't a perfect world, let's hope Cornyn doesn't collapse!

And Talarico's a real baddie. He's a wolf in sheep's clothing, according to Glenn Beck, at least, and I have a tendency to trust Glenn, as he's been around quite awhile and knows whereof he speaks.

Tallerico IS a real baddie Dana and when Texans realize it they will reject him soundly, methinks.
Karl Rove, the man who never found a cause worth fighting for, was all worried about this election because he says Cornyn would win handily but Paxton would lose - in his view. He was slobbering about how Paxton "has too much baggage" and how George Soros would go after him. Well whose fault is that? It's guys like Karl Rove who never went to bat for Conservatives but have always been quick to stan with the "moderate" RINO wing.
I despise Karl Rove. He's what has been killing America for thirty years - cowards who want to play nice.

I looked harder at the numbers today. Cornyn's were higher than Paxton's. Now if Paxton can be convinced to drop out...
