Funny; I thought Republicans were opposed to tax hikes, yet here we are. This guy needs to be primaried out of office. We don't need false friends like that.

A bill being pushed by Republican Congressman Francis Rooney would trigger new or higher taxes on many Social Security recipients. Rooney is the lone Republican sponsor of the bill, H.R. 763, a carbon tax bill co-sponsored by over 40 House Democrats.
