Russia on the Ropes
This from Mike
The next revolution may be coming soon. Russia is reported to have lost 225,000 men in the Ukraine war and recruitment is said to be at 221.000. After this next election Putin is expected to go for total mobilization and those who can are leaving while they can. Putin may win an election and lose power if the Russian people say enough and demand peace with Ukraine. The war with Ukraine is getting worse as the UK just announced it is sending Ukraine 150,000 drones using sanctioned Russian money to pay for them, some of them are rocket powered drones developed by the UK. Russias air defense systems were not designed to intercept drones and Russias size makes it impossible to protect everywhere even though they are taking measures to intercept drone attacks. In July a joint NATO exercise that singled out Kalingrad showed Putin that his stronghold is not as strong as it appears. US, Italy,Poland Germany and the UK took part in the exercise with the Polish ground forces spearheading a simulated attack on the weak land point in Kalingrads defense while US and Italian aerial platforms covered them. The US brought in its high end electronic platform used to jam and detect electronic gear on the ground. Germany and the UK sent in 2 aircraft that reportedly shadowed a Russian sub in the area. The reason for this exercise was the Russians have been jamming GPS signals used by civilian aircraft in the area. Russia keeps compounding its problems by flexing its muscles while actually showing its weakness.

I do get my info from Western journalists but they back their stories with video evidence. The long lines of people waiting for petro come from Russian social media videos posted by Russians. The empty store shelves are posted on Russias social media. The mile long line of cars waiting entry into Georgia came from Russian social media. The fuel shortage comes at a time when Putin can least afford it. His strongest support comes from rural areas and these areas are being hit by the fuel shortage have wheat ready to harvest but it wont be harvested because there is no fuel for the harvesters. This hit will be felt hardest by the small and medium sized farms. A video showed bread being sold by the slice.Times are getting harder. There are also reports of soldiers not getting paid and these soldiers are getting letters from home of loved ones freezing from the cold because they have no fuel to heat their homes.Russias billionaires are unhappy because Russias economy is flat and if the trends continues will fall off the cliff and they are taking their money elsewheres. China is salivating at Russias plight ready to jump in and buy up Russias natural energy resources. Russias economy is shakier then a 7.5 earthquake.

The Bird's the Word
Timothy Birdnow
Anyone remember Newspeak? That was the "updating" of language by the state in Orwell's 1984 to make thinking politically incorrect things, well, unthinkable.
How do you do that? You eliminate words, for one thing. Well, guess what?
We are being stripped down to the bare bones of our language and no doubt at some point the Ruling Class will then rebuild our language in a way far more pleasing to themselves.
The internet has much to do with it. Most people online use limited vocabularies, and this in return makes the viewers less labial, or less verbal anyway (maybe labial isn't the best word, but I want to show people how it's done).
I won't go into methodology; theirs seems adequate and the article I linked goes into that in detail. As they authors mention, the total OUTPUT of words has probably not declined much but the different words used has declined - the vocabulary.
We see this all the time with young people who lack the verbal skills to express themselves. It is hardly surprising; they live in bubbles with limited human contact and control of what they see and hear and learn. One empty mind preaches to another. Everything gets dumbed down, and when they don't know a word they immediately have access to technology that gives them the definition and they can just move on and forget it. In bygone days we used dictionaries, and the chore of having to look something up cemented it in our memories.
Of course this also speaks to our educational system, which is capable of graduating kids with fourth grade vocabularies. The schools and universities no longer make it their mission to teach anything beyond remedial reading.
So a college kid needs to write a paper on Shakespeare. What does he do? He doesn't READ Shakespeare he goes on line and gets a youtube tutorial on the Bard. Basically he doesn't learn anything, he just gets the information he can parrot back in a paper and that's that.
As our populace slides ever deeper into silence and mediocrity we wonder why we have so many kids now all on board with socialism/communism. They haven't a clue about anything to do with it but think it somehow "fair" because their professors or teachers said it was. They can't read The Little Black Book of Communism because they don't understand most words. Their profs speak in baby talk to them.
At a certain point any culture will stop functioning if the thing that holds people together most - their language - deteriorates past a certain point. It is the thread that binds us all. Without it and we become - something else.
The difference between Man and the animals is language. Animals communicate in a basic way, and some even have a sort of language, one they are born to understand (like
chipmonks) but these non-human languages are limited to basics, lie calls about predators or food or water sources; complex concepts elude the minds of most animals and that because they lack the language skils that we possess. While some of that is biological - we have Brocca's Area and wernecke's Area, for instance, in our brains and they do not - we also have a rich language with many different words to describe complex concepts and the memory storage capacity to remember those words.
The fewer words people possess the more likely we are to fall back on the reptilian and limbic systems, the animal portions of our brains. Losing our words literally turns us to savages.
The Neocortex has nothing to work with if it has no words. And of the triune brain the neocortex is the one that makes us higher than the animals. We do not function primarily on fears or pleasures but on reason, logic, long term planning. But it can't engage if it can't speak.
So this dumbing down (literally) of the public is a very bad thing indeed. It's how we lose civilization.

Dems Singin' the Blues
Timothy Birdnow
How blue can they get?
Act Blue has been one of the Democrats leading sources of laundered money (along with USAID) and it is now being shown to have been breaking the law with impunity.
Slowly but surely justice is catching up with the Democrat machine.
Not fast enough for my tastes though. There is a small window for getting this done. Get it done, stop all the illegal fundraising, and the Democrats won't be able to stop future prosecutions. Act too slowly and the political tide will turn and this stuff will wind up being brushed under the rug again, and the Democrats will return to their empire of blood money.
It's simple really blue sky/red tide.
Anyway, for your musical enjoyment, I give you Guy Mitchell.

Time to Make Britain the 51st State
Timothy Birdnow
Welcome to America!
Our government in the U.S. has been doing this to us for decades now. The Brits always used to look down their noses at America, calling us racists. Now they are starting to get the problems we've long had to deal with and they are finding the solutions offered by their ruling class to be just as offensive as those shoved down our throats for years.
Maybe we should think about making Britain the 51st state?
Time to start teaching the Brits our secret handshake and give them our lapel pins...

The Volunary Socialism of Academia
Timothy Birdnow
Higher education is a peculiar institution. It is perhaps the only industry other than journalism that openly repudiates the values and desires of the customers, for instance. And higher education makes people pay money - lots of money - for the privilege of a piece of paper that says you might, maybe, be a good employee to a company in the future. There is no guarantee of employment, no real prospect of it even if you take the wrong major.
And they grade you, and by grading you determine your future to no small degree. If you refuse to parrot back the values and beliefs of your professor you may well wind up with poor grades and prospective future employers might well decide you aren't a team player...
That is what you are buying with your money.
It is a voluntary form of socialism in many ways. And unless you go to a technical college you very often don't learn anything of practical value. A liberal arts degree is worthless in anything other than academia.
That is why the university system has become increasingly crazy, increasingly Marxist, and at the same time an "education" is increasingly expensive while teaching less and less. It now mostly takes sane, sensible kids and turns them into radicals. Colleges are now little more than Marxism Mills.
Which is why so many young people are going to technical schools. These schools are still about imparting knowledge and thus getting tuition money, not about simply padding their student body list for government grants and fattening the administration.
And that is why, paradoxically, the more government money that pours into these schools the poorer the education. The schools aren't about teaching anymore so much as about inculcating the values of those who sign their paychecks, and those values are decidedly neo-Marxist.
Recently a trend in "higher education" is to not even give out grades for first year students under the
guise of mental health. Mental health does not fall under the purview of higher education.
Which is what these technical schools avoid; treating their students like wayward children. They don't coddle them. Granted, most of these schools are not live-in facilities. But still.
At any rate there has been a problem with "grade inflation" for decades as colleges sought to promote those who did not do so well. This comes from a desire to see minorities do better; many minorities get poor grades because they attended poor high schools. And it also comes because many of these students who attended poor high schools are struggling with basics they should have learned in secondary education.
Be that as it may the point I am making is that universities are structured to give out grades - it's what you are paying them to do. Their jobs is to prove you have mastered course material sufficiently for employment in the workforce. There is little value to a college degree beyond that as things are currently structured.
But they don't want to do their jobs, mostly because they don't want to be shown up as frauds. They say they will EDUCATE kids but in the end they spend most of their time propagandizing them. Then when the kids don't learn anything they give them bogus grades or none at all. Clever, but why are the parents paying for something they aren't getting. If, say, an instant oil change place was found to be putting in just a little oil into your car and the rest water they would be sued into non-existence. If you ordered a ribeye steak at a restaurant and they served you rabbit they would soon be out of business. Heck; I used to go to bars when I was a young man and I tested the value of my liquor by buying a shot of 151 rum. If it lit on fire I knew the place was legit. If it wouldn't I knew I was in a clip joint. The clip joints are almost all gone now; gee - I wonder why?
Colleges are all clip joints these days.
Everyone remembers Eisenhower's Farewell Address and his warning about the "military industrial complex" but he also warned about academia and the rising technocracy and warned they would go the way they have gone - get very fat off taxpayer funding and stop educating kids.
Sadly they still have the prestige and making contacts is the big draw for places like Harvard, where the kids are dumb but they make the contacts to succeed. It's a good-old-boy network with them and if you have a Harvard degree you can be the stupidest guy at the very top of anything.
But that is for the lucy few who get in because they have the cash or the right parents or the best sob story. The rest of the academic kiddom gets a titanic debt from which they will never be free and a mediocre job, probably well below what they expected, and are horribly dissatisfied. How long will academia continue on life support like it is now?
We're already seeing a major move into the trades and technical schools. My friends all went to technical schools and I went to college. Guess who did the poorest? I made just a fraction of what my blue-collar friends made over the years, and it cost me a lot more. No where near as much as college costs now, but enough.
And then there is the prospect of being overqualified, as was I for many jobs. I couldn't get any sort of job in the trades and I couldn't get a professional job because who needs an expert in Russian history and translating scientific documents? (It sounded like a good idea at the time; we were in the throes of the Cold War when I started college. Who would believe the Soviet Union would collapse shortly after I got out - after seventy years!)
By the time national security started hiring again I had been out of school for years and it was easier to get new people. And there STILL wasn't a lot of use for a guy who majored in Russian history; we needed guys who studied Islam and the Middle East. I should have majored in Medieval history and Arabic instead.
Oh well, water under the bridge.
The point is that we need to find new ways to educate kids and circumvent the traditional college. The trade schools do that, but only for the trades, plus they often lack the social life that is so appealing to young people. That should not be underemphasized; kids want to have fun and prepare for a better future. But if you want to be a white collar guy you are not likely to have a lot of luck with a trade school. Yes, some teach you to code, but that is a dying skill in itself, and it's only got a limited shelf-life.
We need college without the colleges. More thought needs to be given to that.

Considering the mental condition Sleepy Joe was in during that period of his life, I would hope he was on drugs of some sort. And I'll leave it up to our readers to decide which drugs they should be -- and please, be kind and don't suggest they should be from Hunter's collection.

Media Extreme Bias
Timothy Birdnow
You can call a conservative a Nazi but don't you dare call a Democrat a Communist.
From the Newsbusters article:
As the left and right try to define their opposition ahead of November’s midterm elections, the media are clearly taking sides. According to a new NewsBusters analysis, the media has condemned conservatives and Republicans 86 percent of the time when they compare Democrats to communists or jihadists. However, when liberals compare Republicans to Nazis and fascists, only five percent of such analogies were rebuked.
The media is ridiculously biased and in fact love them some Marxism. This proves it.

How the Bolsheviks Killed Democracy in Russia
Timothy Birdnow
I studied Russian History in college. I pursued that field of study because I thought maybe I'd work for a national security agency and that was a sensible goal back in the early and mid eighties, at the height of the Cold War. I never expected us to win it before I graduated college.
I have a degree in history and a certificate in Russian Scientific Translation and would have had another degree in Russian as well as a certificate in Eastern Area Studies had the professor who taught the Philosophy of Marxism/Leninism not gone on a year sabbatical when I needed this course. I just needed one class for all of that and I would have gone after that had I not realized where things were heading. I saw no point by 1987 to come back next year.
At any rate I say all this to give everyone an idea of why I'm posting this link up. I have long thought about writing something quite similar to this but chose not to because it would probably be a bit boring to the reader; Russian politics - even during the Revolution - gets a bit confusing. There were socialists everywhere in Russia prior to the Tsar's abdication and they were at odds. And yes, the Russians held an election for a general assembly which the Bolsheviks cancelled when it was going against them.
It should also be pointed out that in the twenties Lenin had to take his foot off the gas and let some peasants keep the fruits of their labors for a time with his New Economic Program. Stalin would not just end that but would take all the food out of the Ukraine and starve the kulaks - the independent faremers there - to death.
At any rate read this excellent rundown on Russia
here.
The Russian Revolution was not just one revolution but a series of them. The Tsar was deposed and a provisional government mainly under Alexanderr Kerensky, Chairman of the Petrograd Soviet and Big Wig in the Socialist Revolutionary Part (S.R.'s). Keresnsky served a scant three months but that was pretty much the entire run of the Russian Republic.
Kerensky made several mistakes that cost him. He supported staying in WWI because it was almost over and when it was the winning side would get Constantinople since Turkey had fought with the Central Powers and that would mean Russia would get what she always wanted - control of the Bosporus and access to the Mediterranean. But the public was finished with war.
The other mistake was in arming the Bolsheviks. The Germans were pressing and Kerensky wanted to defend Moscow so he gave weapons to everyone and then asked for them back. Everyone gave them back - except the Bolsheviks. In a short time the Bolsheviks would stage the October Revolution and hold the Supreme Soviet at gunpoint, forcing them to sign over power to Lenin.
At any rate Democracy in Russia died a silent death. This article goes into detail about how it happened. And it gives us a cautionary tale about the belief in Democracy by socialists; they don't want it at all, just use it as a weapon to seize power. Once in power they say the People "got it right" and there is no need for more elections.
That's what will happen here if we let it.

Thanks Mike, although I doubt the numbers because I don't believe a word out of the mouths of the Western "journalists" reporting on this. But it is undoubtedly true Russia has lost a lot of men and more equipment. It's grinding them down, which is exactly what the ruling class in the West wanted in the first place.
I don't know if Putin can be pushed from power or not; he's not Tsar Nicholas or Alexander Kerensky. But it's possible. Sadly the people waiting in the wings there are said to be worse than Putin. Who or what would replace him is rather frightening to contemplate. The Bolsheviks could well come back to power.
Yeah; drone warfare has changed the way wars are fought and the Ukrainians have certainly done a lot of damage to Russia with them, and that is the only reason the war continues. Without drones Ukraine would have fallen some time ago.

BBC Lies to Children About Black People in Historical Britain
Timothy Birdnow
Revisionism is the key to any successful leftist takeover. You see that her in spades (no pun intended):
Yes, the BBC is lying to children, claiming black people were always in Britain throughout their history and that they built the United Kingdom. It's a damnable lie; there were almost no blacks in Britain until the late nineteenth century.
But that's how the Left moves people's thinking. By saying black folks were always there then there is nothing "anti-British" about letting in more.

Yes, Illegal Aliens do Vote
Timothy Birdnow
Easily enough to flip any number of elections.
From the National Pulse:
WHAT HAPPENED: A U.S. Census Bureau report has revealed that more than 24,000 noncitizens cast ballots in the 2020 general election, with more potentially still to be identified.
WHEN & WHERE: The data pertains to the 2020 general election, with California found to have by far the most noncitizen voters, at 4,300, followed by Texas at 2,500.
DETAIL: The report found that of the 24,000 noncitizen voters identified, 3,800 were from Mexico, the most common country of origin. However, nearly 7,000 have no identified country of origin, so the nationality data is far from complete. The Census Bureau analyzed a total of 160 million votes, with "high confidence” that 128 million were cast by citizens, leaving 32 million records still to be reviewed.
But they told us it was the cleanest election in history and that illegal aliens do not vote. Right.

Communism; the Life Preserver and Outrage Weapon
Timothy Birdnow
An author at Townhall
takes a stab at why so many young people are jumping on the Commie Crazy train.
He makes some good points. He argues young people explore and often challenge the status quo.
I think this author misses the point on a lot of this though. First, the young - and college kids are teenagers, by and large - are rebellious and they know their elders hated Communisms so they are embracing it to shock and offend the more mature in society. It's happened all the time through history. And adopting "radical chic" is also nothing new. When I was a teen myself people used to go around wearing Che Guevara tee shirts, and talked about how cool the old commie was. (There is nothing cool about any communist.) There was always a contingent in colleges that loved them some Bolsheviks. They liked wearing the red scarves and shouting slogans and pretending they were somehow making the world a better place.
This is just more teen rebellion, and twenty-something rebellion. The twenty-somethings are more about free stuff and being able to loaf around; they don't necessarily care about radical chic as they do about getting what they want out of life without working for it. And they have been taught all their lives that stuff should be free, that there should be no merit-based system of rewards. You suck at baseball? You get a trophy anyway. We've been whittling down the old way of doing things, the rewards-based system, for decades and is it any wonder young people now think everything should be free?
And they've been maleducated, being taught that capitalism is just a bunch of greedy guys stealing what should be theirs. No mention of the how stuff gets made and by whom. It just appears magically, like leaves on trees after a long winter.
Back in the mid two thousands there was a t.v. show called Jerico, about a small town in western Kansas near the Colorado border. There is a terrorist attack on the U.S. and 26 cities get nuked, leading to absolute chaos. The town is struggling to survive. To get to the point there is a deaf girl, one of the main characters, who is dating this very dumb skateboard dude. He says the key is to get the internet up and running, that that's all they need. when the girl asks him where all the stuff would come from he pauses and thinks and then blurts out the obvious "we'll buy it on the internet". Sadly that is how many young people think.
And they want to punish corporations, which they don't really have to do business with, by empowering an even bigger and more despotic corporation - the government. Oh, and you HAVE to do business with that company, like it or not.
Where do they get all these flakey ideas from? Some from liberal parents but most from their radical school teachers and college profs, that's where.
The author does blame poor education and a number of other things. And he nails it with this:
Many young people today are searching for meaning, purpose, belonging and identity. Political movements often become substitutes for the communities that families, neighborhoods, religious institutions and civic organizations once provided. When people feel isolated, they naturally gravitate toward movements that promise certainty, justice and belonging.
And that is exactly what the Left was trying to accomplish. Ennui. A society that no longer believes in itself, in it's God and it's heroes and it's institutions. Churches have become social clubs, social clubs have simply disappeared or become senior centers. The things that bound us as a people were systematically removed from our society. We now have 45 million people who speak Spanish in this country, for instance. So no common language. We no longer have men-only club, so no male bonding. Shoot; the Boy Scouts are now "Scouting USA" and accept girls, completely missing the point of why the organization existed in the first place. Kids are taught there is no concrete reality, but rather all reality is subjective "my truths" and that includes your sex and even your species now. Young people are drowning in a moral and spiritual quicksand.
This is exactly what the KGB and other Communists planned from the very beginning and labored to implement. Now they have it and a whole new generation of Communists has risen, Phoenix-like, from the ashes of the disaster that was the 20th century Marxism.
The Marxists always understood the rebellious nature of the youths and channeled that to their benefit. Conservative types never did learn to do that successfully. Our power base is the mature, because they know enough to recognize a bad idea when it bites them on the behind.
There ae so many vacuums in our lives now. The churches are preaching Barney the Dinosaur values and not the Word of God, nor the old fire-and-brimstone that these kids need to hear. There is a great apostacy occurring amount the youths. And Communism is more than happy to step in. And the schools have become citadels of Satan, full of uncleanness, hatred, and yes, Communism.
What with the broken families and the relaxing of societal disapproval for out-of-wedlock births, these kids no longer have actual families. And the Pandemic with it's "remote learning" and other things broke the bonds of school-based friendships, the surrogate family for these kids. They are alone in the world, rudderless as their elders refuse to give them rules or concrete concepts they can rely on. Everything is fluid, everything in flux, and they seek out something to act as a life preserver. The Communists step in.
Boredom is another undervalued influence here. The young are bored - bored with their lives, bored with their families, bored with everything. Why? They have too much, too many choices, too many hours of screen time. And most don't work or are underemployed, so they spend their days on their phones and doomscroll or amuse themselves with mindless drivel. They know what they are doing is pointless, empty. They seek something real. But what do they have in life that is real? Their elders are teaching them that NOTHING is real and the obvious conclusion is nothing matters. If the Church were wise it would have stepped in but it is more interested in making friends with the world and less with teaching the eternal truths so that outlet is no good. And of course under Obana and Biden the military was just another social justice machine - nothing there. So the young find Marxism and it offers something real, something powerful, and something that will change the world, or so they think. Most of these youths don't know it was tried and failed spectacularly, creating the very problems it promised to fix. And it killed millions in the process.
That the younger generation is embracing the most evil system ever devised by Man is not surprising; what is surprising is it took them so long.

Karmelo Anthony - a Victory for Black Supremacism
Timothy Birdnow
There is no justice in America if you are white and a victim of a minority.
Yes, the black Karmelo Anthony is going to be given a new trial because, well, ultimately because he's black and his victim was white.
You may remember Anthony was the guy who went into the tent of an opposing track team and when one of the athletes - Austin Metcalf - tried to remove him after he was repeatedly asked to leave he pulled a knife and stabbed Metcalf to death.
Anthony received 35 years in prison for his crime.
But his lawyers pleaded in court for a new trial claiming the judge was biased and had confusing rules and a court has now granted Anthony a new trial.
If you are black you always get an extra swing or two in our legal system these days. Sadly the white Austin Metcalf won't get one.
After the verdict District Judge John Roach said the "jury got it right" in their verdict. Can you believe it! How racist! For that the Hon. Mr. Roach was removed from the case and a new trial has been set.
If this were reversed it is doubtful Metcalf would have been afforded a new trial. We live in a society of black supremacism.
And that is exactly the problem. Anthony, like so many black males, figured he could do whatever he wanted and get away with it because he saw his friends do just that. They were never held accountable for their actions. So Anthony invaded the tent where he wasn't supposed to be and refused to leave. Metcalf made the mistake of trying to evict him bodily and Anthony, who wasn't carrying that knife for no reason, pulled his weapon and killed the white boy.
And now he may just slither out. Another victory for black supremacism.
Update: Anthony may be in hotter water than he is in now as new evidence has come to light.

Mass. Mayor Does Not Speak English
Timothy Birdnow
The mayor of a Massachusetts town was arrested for embezzlement and fraud. Naturally he was a Democrat. That is about as interesting as mold on a tree. But what is interesting about this story is that his spokesman denied media access because the Dominican-born mayor
does not speak English.
Mayor Brian DePeña of Lawrence Mass. was arrested for embezzling Covid Relief funds. Lawrence is in northern Massachusetts.
This sparked a firestorm on-line, mostly by people angered that a mayor of a community does not speak America's tongue:
"English fluency should be a basic prerequisite for holding public office," journalist Miranda Devine posted on X.
I hate to rain on everyone's parade but America does not have an official language and so this guy has every right to be a mayor in any state and not speak English. That a community would elect him is the real takeaway here; obviously this town is completely full of immigrants, and I strongly suspect most are illegal, and I strongly suspect they vote.
America SHOULD have an official language, but a huge minority of people speak Spanish in this country and in fact the United States is the second-largest Spanish speaking nation on Earth, just behind Mexico.45 million people in the U.S. speak Spanish in their homes. It would be very, very hard to get an English-only bill through Congress.
(I'd be happy if it was just English and Spanish; I find it offensive to have eight, ten language represented at the Post Office or coming from large companies I do business with, like hospitals. We should have nobody here speaking Farsi or Arabic or Chinese.)
At any rate we should indeed have laws against people running for public office who cannot speak Spanish, but rest assured if there were such the courts would strike it down as unconstitutional. And it largely would be. Setting a national language is not an enumerated power of these United States.
But I wish that were not so. We NEED such laws. But mostly we need far fewer folks here who don't speak English and who vote in guys like this.

Trump Deporting Mexicans to Central America
Timothy Birdnow
To keep Mexican illegals from just crossing the border again the Trump Administration is
deporting them to Central America so they would have a couple thousand miles to go to get back to the U.S. border!
You have to love Trump and his people! That's the way you do it! There has to be hardship and pain for breaking our laws. In times past we just dumped them across the border and they went to the Rio Grande and waded back across.
I always thought we should make them work - put them to work on the border in bright red jumpsuits for a few months for no pay and take whatever money they have. Then send them back. Let everyone know that you are going to be hurt by crossing the border illegally.
But of course the Demoleft wouldn't allow that, so this is the next best thing.
Wonder how long before the ACLU files suit over this.
In the movie Johnnie Dangerously the mobster Moretti gets deported to Sweden and the newspaper headline says "claims not even from there". It's kinda like that!

Polling Company Admits to Faking Poll
Timothy Birdnow
Fake polling was and remains a huge problem in America (and the rest of he Western World) as it influences results of elections by the "bandwagon effect", getting people to believe that everyone else is doing it and so they get on board.
For decades we've seen bogus polling trying to influence the elections and doubtlessly succeeding in no small measure. But we never had the proof.
This pollster broke Omerta and admitted they were conducting a "social experiment" with dishonest polls which no doubt impacted these real elections.
From Hot Air:
As if we didn’t already have enough reason to mistrust polls. I wonder how many other pollsters coming up with suspiciously favorable numbers for socialist and progressive candidates are actually "social experiments” as well. Wanna bet that Texas is part of an "experiment,” too?
At least Median Strategies fessed up yesterday. Not that they had much choice, but also, even their confession looks like another form of manipulation.
That is the unforgivable sin; to admit they do this.
It's funny; polls always show Democrats way up and Republicans way down then when a Republican wins some of the Democrats accuse us of cheating when in fact it was they who were cheating all along and the polls played into their hands. Take both Trump elections as a prime example.
Usually the polls tighten up just before the election as they can no longer afford to be too far off. But the months leading up to the election are usually full of bogus polling in an effort to move the public towards the Democrat. They are not there to reflect the opinion of the public but to shape it.
That's why they were doing these little "experiments" in mind control here.
I once wrote something I submitted for publication that got a solid rejection - it was about the polls and how we need to stop listening to them. Read my article
here.
At any rate polling has become a tool of manipulation and not simple news. There is a reason there are so many polling companies; they are paid by SOMEONE and for a purpose.
That is why political campaigns don't rely on the polls the public sees; they know them to be crap. They have their own internal polling which asks the tough questions and reflects the mood of the country honestly so the candidates may tailor their messages. But the public doesn't see those. The ones we do see are the ones with an agenda to push; they are paid by people who want to promote the agenda they are pushing.
So don't take the polls too seriously; they are trying to induce despair in our side and confidence on the Left.

Fauci Aid in Trouble
Timothy Birdnow
The squeeze play is on as Fauci's associates are facing legal peril.
The noose is tightening around the necks of all those scumbags who did this to the whole world.
FTA:
David Morens, a former top adviser to Dr. Anthony Fauci, pleaded guilty Tuesday to conspiracy in a scheme to avoid Freedom of Information Act requests, marking a victory in one of the first cases to allege a cover-up in the COVID-19 pandemic.
The Justice Department brought the case against Morens in April, which accused the former senior scientific adviser at the National Institute for Allergy and Infectious Diseases of committing conspiracy against the U.S., destruction, alteration, or falsification of records in federal investigations; concealment, removal or mutilation of records; and aiding and abetting.
The case comes after the House Select Subcommittee on the Coronavirus Pandemic uncovered evidence in 2024 that Morens used his personal email, outside the scope of FOIA requests, to discuss National Institute of Health grants with the infectious disease group EcoHealth Alliance.
Interesting; this is what Obama and Hillary did and they got away with it. But this lower-level flunky is being charged.
Still, it signals we aren't going to ignore the law anymore - that is a good thing.
As Fauci's friends go down many will be willing to cut a deal and perhaps we'll learn the full extent of Dr. Fauci's crimes.
I saw a movie made during the Pandemic about the Antichrist and essentially Fauci was he - he used the pandemic he set on the world to springboard himself to the Presidency then began dismantling the Constitution under the guise of saving everyone. In the end he triggered WWIII and that was that. While a fanciful tale I have little doubt Fauci saw himself as a savior and believed he would go down in history as one of the great men. He will go down in history, but as a medical tyrant and criminal. Like a Batman villain.
Tough beans old chum!
