No More Pride or BLM Flags!

Timothy Birdnow

Marco Rubio has issued orders banning the flying of flags other than the stars and stripes at U.S. embassies.

While that includes such things as the Gadsden flag, it is primarily aimed at getting rid of Pride Flags and other such politicized garbage.

This is the U.S., not the Kit Kat Club from Cabaret.

Flying raibbow flags or BLM flags speaks to what we value. It tells the world we value sodomy and perversion and revolution. Is that who we are as a people?

Roll with the Changes

Timothy Birdnow

Reading Charlie Kirk's Citizen Free Press this morning there was a story about Trump's European policy that caught my attention.

First, there was this story about Trump's plan to withdraw 20,000 American troops from the continent. This is long overdue and Europe needs to stop being the dependent child she became after WWII. Time for the Europeans to stand on their own two feet. We cannott afford to finance their defense forever.

Part of the deal is that the Europeans will have to pay for the troops we keep there too.

Again, I find this a welcome development; we cannot be the world's policeman forever. We have spent gargantuan sums of money to maintain the post-war world and the worm is turning. Times change and we have to change with them. America is financially incapable of being the big sugar daddy.

But another thought occurs to me; in the Bible we are told there would be a second Roman Empire, one more fearsome and stranger than the first. In fact it would be the final beast seen in the Book of Daniel:

"After this I saw in the night visions, and behold, a fourth beast, dreadful and terrible, and strong exceedingly ; and it had great iron teeth. It devoured, and broke in pieces, and stamped the residue with the feet of it; and it was diverse from all the beasts that were before it, and it had ten horns."

The beasts of Daniel are kingdoms and we know them today. The first - the Lion - represented Babylon. The Bear represented Persia, the Leopard the kingdom of Alexander the Great, and the final beast was Rome.

This mirrored what John spoke of in Revelation:

The dragon stood on the shore of the sea. And I saw a beast coming out of the sea. It had ten horns and seven heads, with ten crowns on its horns."

What does that mean? A great power with ten horns and seven heads? It is generally believed to mean a coalition nation, like, say, the European Union. And actually Revelation makes no bones about it, saying the princes will give their authority unto the beast "for one hour". So it's clearly a coalition power of some sort, one that mirrors the old Roman Empire and likely constitutes at least part of Rome's greter territory.

I would add that there is 2Thessalonians 2:7

"For the mystery of lawlessness doth already work: only there is one that restraineth now, until he be taken out of the way."

What is this restrainer?

I suspect it has been none other than the United States of America. I suspect the coming of the antichrist has been prevented by America, and our withdrawing from Europe is what will pave the way for the coming of the Man of Sin, the Son of Perdition.

Could it be what Trump is doing is going to open the door?

I don't know but it seems possible. But Trump is right in what he is doing; America just cannot continue down this path we've taken for 80 years now. At some point it had to end, and that point is now. We've gone bankrupt with this (among other things).

So if America is retreating it could spell doom for the world. Maybe.

On the other hand, a stronger Europe will mean we will have true partnership in dealing with world events. So often now the Europeans pay lip service to our policies (like an embargo on Iran) but then sneak around behind our backs and circumvent our policies anyway. They won't have that luxury if it is they who are bleeding and dying for security. I have no doubt Putin is afraid right now, and not just of what TRUMP is going to do. I have little doubt he fears Europe actually uniting and becoming a military power. Americans can always be managed. But the Europeans, right there at his doorstep, cannot.

Like it or not, the times are changing. We either roll with the changes or we go under.

Trump Hints at Biden Prosecution

Timothy Birdnow

Trump warns the DOJ may well prosecute Joe Biden himself, since Mr. Biden did not grant himself a pardon on his way out the door.

Biden certainly deserves to be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. But I fear the SCOTUS ruling protecting Presidents from prosecution for official acts will make it quite difficult to take down Screwless Joe. And Trump may be reluctant to see it happen as it means the Democrats will prosecute him when he gets out (again). Not that they won't try anyway.

Biden figured Trump won' dare.

BTW this article states:

"It concerns me in terms of what kind of precedent it sets and how the rest of the world looks (at) us as a nation of laws and justice,” Biden said during his first joint interview.

"I’m not going to be telling them what they have to do and don’t have to do,” Biden said.

"I’m not going to be saying, ‘go prosecute A, B or C’, I’m not going to be telling them. That’s not the role, it’s not my Justice Department, it’s the people’s Justice Department.”

"So the persons or person I pick to run that department are going to be people who are going to have the independent capacity to decide who gets prosecuted, who doesn’t.”

Like Don Corleone said when he realized Barzini was the man pulling the strings in the movie The Godfather "Barzini is a man who knows that without being told". That was equally true of Biden's consigliere Merrick Garland.

But will Biden and the Democrats extend the same courrtesy to Donald Trump should Pam Bondi file charges? Somehow I doubt it.

Something has to be done about these people. While it may not be politically expedient to prosecute Biden, it certainly wuold be the wise course when looking at the big picture. The political class must know it is a very dangerous game to play.

Trump to Address WEF

Timothy Birdnow

Ugh.

Trump plans to address the World Economic Forum at Davos.

This concerns me. Addressing Davos is essentially bending the knee to tthe globalists. The WEF is the Kingdom of Satan and one does not converse with the Devil.

This is a bad sign.

Ben of Ben and Jerry's Goes MAGA

Timothy Birdnow

Now even Ben and Jerry are going MAGA!

Leftist Ben & Jerry's Co-Founder Launches Contest to Support Elon Musk's Dept of Government Efficiency: "DOGE vs Blob"

Ben Cohen started Ben and Jerry's as a kind of socialist paradise where everyone earned the same amount of money. They had to change that when it became impossible to find anyone to work as CEO. But the two aging hippies never changed their stripes, and B and J has always been a huge supporter of the Democrats.

So this is Yuuuggge!

FTA:

"Pentagon bureaucrats torch $2 million of taxpayer money every minute. In honor of @DOGE, I'm launching @dogevsblob, a meme contest highlighting the biggest gov't spender + waster. We're giving away 1,000 @dogecoin a day. If anyone can slash the Pentagon budget, @elonmusk can. Let's support him," Cohen wrote.

Schiff Opposed to Pardons Until he Got One

Timothy Birdnow

Adam Schiff, the man who hates Trump to the point of spittle flying from his florid face whenever Mr. Trump's name is mentioned, had once said of Trump's pardons thatinnocent people don't need pardons and he even said a pardon for the J6 folks would be an abomination, and opposed a pardon for the J6 committee. And yet now he has not renounced his own.

Funny how that works.

There are no Small Fights

Timothy Birdnow

Mike Gallagher is a nice man, and I have no problem with where his heart resides, but he just is a lightweight. I am always amazed at how myopic his reasoning can be.

Take, for example, the story about the Lesbian Bishop who insulted Trump from the pulpit recently.(I don't really know if she's a lesbian but she sure looks the part, and most certainly she is a NAG - member of the National Association of Gals - as Rush would have said.

This woman (I refuse to call her a Bishop as the Bible is quite clear women are not to be in leadership roles in the Church. See 1 Timothy 2:11-12 for just one example) began whining about how much homosexuals and transvestites are fearful and how "undocumented" (she refused to say illegal) are afraid as if Trump is some sort of monster about to devour them, and she begged Trump to be merciful. It was a hug insult and many on our side are rightly cheesed off at this woman.

But not Gallagher. And Gallagher is wrong.

Gallagher's argument was "it's a free country" and that we need to listen to the opposition. This is a monumentally stupid argument to make.

It was the argument made by Mike Pence when the cast of Hamilton called him out from the stage. Where is Mike Pence now?

First, Mariann Edgar Budde (yes, her middle name is EDGAR!) is the Episcopal prelate of Washington D.C. and as such is subject to the laws of the United States. Among these are the tax codes that exempt her church from paying taxes PROVIDED she stay out of politics. That was a requirement put in place by L.B. Johnson to get the churches in the south to stop trashing his policies. You don't have to stay out of politics, but you do have to stay away from specifics or not take the tax breaks. The Democrats have used this power ruthlessly over the years and now, for instance, the Catholic Church is afraid to excommunicate people like Nancy Pelosi who openly, willfully violate Church law and still claim to be Catholic. This is a tool the Left has used to silence conservative Christians, yet here we have an episcopal chick criticizing the President from the pulpit to his face. Time to review her church's tax status, no?

That said we get to the meat of the argument by Gallagher and why it's wrong.

Yes, it's a free country and nobody is suggesting this woman does not have a right to express her opinion, but we have an equal right to express OURS, and ours is that she is a POS. Also, it comes down to a matter of good manners; you don't do what she did, especially since Trump and Vance were a captive audience and could not respond at the time. Well, they could have, just stood up and told her off, but that would be a major faux pas and it would have damaged Trump immensely. So he sits quietly and lets this puta harangue him publicly.

You don't get to be so rude and not expect a response. But that's how it works with the Left - they violate the standards of good conduct counting on our being unwilling to respond in kind. That's why they can call Trump a rapist, for instance, and expect to get away with that lie. (Fortunately ABC settled with Trump for it, but they tried getting away with it in the first place because any other Republican would have just let it drop.) If Trump hadn't sued - as Bush would not have - the lie becomes established. As Mark Twain put it "A lie can travel around the world and back again while the truth is lacing up its boots.”

And that is the power of the media; they take a lie and amplify it and soon the whole world knows the lie, then they retract it on page 18 of the Lifestyle section of the paper. You have to stop these things at the very beginning. We MUST smack this woman down hard or others will pull this same stunt.

Truth must be told, proclaimed loudly and clearly and lies must be called out. Trump is right in swatting back at his critics, no matter what the Establishment Republicans and even Conservative Inc. think.

And, as I say, it's the Overton Window; they are moving the rules of civil conduct to allow such things.

We've seen this before; this is the kind of thing Mao encouraged during the Cultural Revolution in China. The Cultural Revolution often saw this kind of calling out, and ultimately led to the deaths of 1.6 million people or more as these things often grew from verbal abuse to full blown massacres.

For that matter this was done in post-revolution Russia, although they were more apt to just toss people into the gulag. And we see it on college campuses today. The Left is trying to mainstream this sort of behavior (while denying it to their opponents - that's why they went after the J6 people so ferociously.) They are moving what is considered acceptable behavior. They want their people hectoring everyone with whom they disagree.

That's what's wrong with this notion of not listening to each-other. Gallagher made that argument, that we "aren't listening to each-other" but he assumes those on the Left want to be heard. They do not. Speech to them is a weapon, and they are wielding it to drown us out because they cannot compete on the field of ideas. So they spew a great flood of lies and innuendos and outright attacks, much like Satan, who "accuseth the bretheren night and day before the throne of God" and who, in Revelation The serpent spewed water out of his mouth after the woman like a river, that he might cause her to be carried away by the stream."

That is what the Left does; they are not trying to communicate, but rather deceive and drown. They have no interest and a frank and open discussion.

And how, pray tell, is it WE aren't listening to THEM? We've been listening to these people for over a hundred years now, and have taken to heart much of what they have demanded of us. Who, for instance, passed the Civil Rights Act of 1964? It was all the Republicans. Half the Democrats bitterly opposed that. Not sure it is WE who aren't listening.

The problem is we do nothing BUT listen to them and try to debate. We aren't playing the same game. We listen, they hector. "Listening" to them means us hanging our heads in shame while they climb upon a moral high horse and sit in judgment of us. That is their power. If we resist they tell us we should be less mean and should be more reasonable, even while they are burning down cities in displeasure. But WE are the ones who are the problem! And apparently Gallagher doesn't graps this.

Frankly, when this woman started her B.S. a bunch of the Republicans there should have risen and turned and walked out.

Unfortunately we don't do such things. Instead we sit there numbly and let the Left have their little tantrums. That may even be good strategy in a rational world where the media would report fairly and the public would judge things as they are but we all know that doesn't happen. So it becomes necessary to act against this woman, if for no other reason than to stop it from happening again. Hit the Episcopals in their most tender spot - in the wallet. Withhold donations. Protest. Send letters - lots and lots of letters - demanding this woman be removed from a leadership position.

But doing nothing or just laughing it off is a guarantee this will happen again.

Yes, we have plenty of other irons in the fire. But we can walk and chew gum at the same time, can't we? Trump is doing HIS job, we should do ours.

Gallagher needs to understand all this. His argument is vapid and shallow and I cannot understand how so many on our side STILL haven't grasped the lessons of Trump in this era of cutthroat politics. That's why we have always lost in bygone times.

Karl Rove came up with ""move on" as a strategy. He believed the public would get bored so he never fought battles, just went on to something else. How did that work out for us all?

Rove barely dragged Bush over the finish line in both elections, then we lost to a political novice who twisted America into something we no longer recognize. That's what happens when you don't fight the small fights. There are no small fights.

Independence Day

Timothy Birdnow

Martina McBride may not have been talking about this moment, but the refrain of her song Independence Day pretty much sums up this fine moment in history:

"Let freedom ring, let the white dove sing. Let the whole world know that today is a day of reckoning. Let the weak be strong, let the right be wrong. Roll the stone away, let the guilty pay, it's independence day."

This song was actually a tale of a young girl whose father was an abusive alcoholic and whose mother torched her house with him in it one fine Fourth of July. Well, we just torched the house holding the old besotted Biden. Yes, it IS our independence day!

They Won't Let the J6 People Go

Timothy Birdnow

Prisons are refusing to release J6 prisoners despite Trump's order to immediately release them.

According to Revolver this has been happening everywhere as regime loyalists slow-walk their orders.

Government lackeys are arguing this is a matter of paperwork, that many of these people cannot be released because they have yet to be charged. How in hell does someone serve twelve hundred days in prison and not be charged?

Heads need to roll.

Trump's order was for the IMMEDIATE release of prisoners. What part of that was unclear?

This sort of thing is what brought Trump to power in the first place. Bureaucrats believe they are rulers, not servants. Time they be told who is in charge of this country.

This illustrates how things are going to go over the next few years; the entrenched bureaucracy is going to slow-walk or simply disobey Trump's orders. If Trump isn't able to change the way things work these parasites will thwart him at every turn, just as they did last time.

He has to have the power to fire these people. It's insane to allow career people to make policy against the elected President and the Will of the People. But they do because they are untouchable. A civil servant can pretty much do anything and keep his job.

That has to change.
