August of 1991 I worked at the US Embassy in Moscow. The Embassy was on the Inner Ring road and there was a coup happening in August of that year. There was a three day siege of the Russian Federation building just outside the back door of the Embassy. We were watching History, at the same time we were uncertain how things would shake out. The Yeltsin team with Foreign Minister Eduard Shevardnadze were rallying the population to come defend the Russian White House. So 2 million Russian Patriots got drunk and began building a barricade around the Building. The Soviet Troops were running around town on high alert, but had no had orders to engage the crowds.
On the third night. There was three armored personnel carriers driving around the ring road heading away from the Embassy and nowhere near the Russian Federation Building.
These were young Soviet Soldiers, that were told to take their vehicles to Gorky Park to link up with the main group that was returning to their base outside Moscow.
These were conscript Army soldiers, 18-20 years old, forced into serve to the Soviet Government.
As they passed the Embassy and drove under the Kutuzovsky Prospekt bridge. A gang of drunken Patriots, used a city bus to block their advance.
When the soldiers tried to reverse directions, the gang of drunken Russians blocked to other end of the bridge and started pelting the vehicle with Molotov cocktails. Three innocent men died, because Chaos and corruption in high places drove men crazy.

Pro-life protesters are receiving extreme sentences for what should be misdomener crimes. One wonam received 41 yearsfor sitting in front of an abortion clinic and talking to women. She will die in jail if she isn't released on appeal.

This was to be expected. The Left will punish people to salve it's wounds over losing Roe v. Wade. And they will work to stop anyone ffrom interfering with their efforts in any place where abortion is legal.

America is no longer a place with loyal opposition. It is now a tyranny. The law is now fully a tool for the radicals to force their will on everyone.

More than likely she'll be out on appeal Mr Jason Savage but if you don't think the judiciary has become radicalized and is working hand-in-glove with the radical DOJ I have a bridge to sell you. This was the asbsolute maximum the judge could impose. This is just like what we have been seeing now for years, conservatives being handed far stiffer sentences than leftists. Look at the BLM folks who did things similar; theywere outand given "time served". Look at the invasion of the Wisconsin capitol building back a number of years ago by union folks; minimal tono sentences while those who went in the U.S. Capitol got decades sometimes. Absolutely the same crimes but radically different sentences based on what side of the political aisle the defendants were on.

Look at how Joe Biden was just excused for his holding classified documents, the same thing they are now throwing the book at Donald Trump for. Trump was actually President and had a legal right to them. Biden's crimes went all the way back to when he was a senator and had zero authority to have them.

No my friend, this was and remains a political witch hunt. The government prosecutors no doubt judge shopped to get a radical judge.

The penalty is never that severe for violating the FACE Act, especially where violence is not engaged in by the protester.

After getting shellacked by conservatives for pursuing ESG (Consumers' Research's Will Hild, again, deserves much of the credit for this) BlackRock told the SEC that it "could be criticized for the scope or nature of any initiatives or goals, or for revisions thereto" and "such initiatives or goals may be difficult or costly to implement, may not advance at the anticipated pace, or be accomplished within the announced timeframe or at all." The worries about being able to move ahead with ESG initiatives is certainly a direct result of conservative-led pushback from Americans and the investors whose money BlackRock seeks to wield.

Baker's Dallas attorney, James Lee Bright, added to Blaze News that withholding the nature of the charges against his client was a "really unusual" move.

Bright told Blaze News that he's "disturbed" about what's happening with his client, especially given that Baker has been "in full compliance" all this time. Bright also said the federal government "three-plus years later going after people who were legitimate functioning journalists that day" appears designed to have an "absolute chilling effect."

Baker added that when he asked his other attorney, William Shipley, why the federal government is treating him like this, Shipley replied, "You know why. You've been poking them in the eye for three years."

The whole point is for Trump to be on trial at the peak of the election season. Nothing more.

Why hasn't a judge weighed in on the whole legitimacy of Jack Smith's position? He was appointed despite being in government service; a special prosecutor is supposed to be from outside the government by statute. He should be taken off this.

He says that there will soon be a shortage of step down transformers and electricity due to the very high number of AI computer networks being built and their unquenchable demand for memory chips. This sounds promising. They are proposing to drill for geothermal sources, using the latest technology and processes developed at MIT which allow for very deep drilling, mostly where shuttered fossil fuel plants with their turbines and grid connections still intact are to start with. So that no new generating nor transmission infrastructure will be needed. Existing fossil fuel and solar and wind energy companies won't be happy about this.

No they won't. The whole purpose of "green energy" is to create non-viable sources of power that can be limited and measured out according to the whims of those in power. Any reliable source that takes away from that goal is a threat.

And of course there is a huge industry that is reliant on Chinese technology and won't be pleased about their little pinwheels and calculator solar cells being marginalized by a new technology, especially one that shares capabilities with "dirty oil".

Watch for a big renewal in claims that deep drilling causes earthquakes.
