The BRICS nations were initially comprised of Brazil, Russia, India, China, and South Africa.
The addition of Egypt, Ethiopia, Argentina, Iran, and the United Arab Emirates, many believe, makes this group of countries more powerful than the G-20 because of the inclusion of major oil producers. This may be part of the reason that China and Russia did not participate in this weekend’s G-20 activities in India.
Saudi Arabia announced that they would continue their 1 mil barrel-a-day production cut initially announced in July. They and other OPEC nations (including Iran) have successfully driven the price of Oil up to new 52-week highs in 2023.
More damaging is the prospect that higher oil prices will not only keep interest rates high but probably force the Fed to take rates to 6% or higher as they try to balance steady growth with an uptick in inflation.
Inflation would likely slow and then experience an uptick, similar to what happened in the 70s. While the economy is on a steady growth trajectory, it is vulnerable to slowing dramatically as we enter 2024.
STAGFLATION may begin to creep in with its insidious consequences. We must remember that next year is an election year, and this administration will DO everything to keep the economy out of a recession. That would be unpopular and likely cost them the White House.
The SPR (Strategic Petroleum Reserves, which were used by the Government in 2021-2022 to try and lower oil prices), is the lowest level of total crude inventories in America since 1985. This is very dangerous for a nation depending on oil and oil-related products.

California State Senate passes bill to remove parents from custody of their own children if they object to a medical transition on their child.
Democrat state senators voted overwhelmingly in favor of the bill that will classify parents as child abusers if they do not affirm their child’s gender identity.
AB 957, co-authored by democrat state senators Scott Wiener and Lori Wilson, is now set to head to Governor Gavin Newsom’s desk and he is expected to sign it into law.
The law will be used during child custody cases between parents to encourage courts to side with the parent who does affirm the child’s gender identity and punish the parent that refuses to transition their child

My home state of Missouri brought suit against the Biden Administration for censorship and colluding with big tech to censor citizens, and won.

The Fifth Circuit affirmed a lower court’s judgement that the White House, Surgeon General, CDC and FBI violated the First Amendment while finding that "the district court erred in finding that the NIAID Officials, CISA Officials, and State Department Officials likely violated Plaintiffs’ First Amendment rights.” Yet it found the injunction, issued by District of Louisiana Judge Terry A. Doughty in July, was "vague and broader than necessary.”
"Ultimately, we find the district court did not err in determining that several officials—namely the White House, the Surgeon General, the CDC, and the FBI—likely coerced or significantly encouraged social-media, platforms to moderate content, rendering those decisions state actions,” the court wrote. "In doing so, the officials likely violated the First Amendment.”
Doughty granted a broad injunction barring President Joe Biden’s administration from collusion with pro-censorship nonprofit organizations, in addition to social media companies, in the free speech lawsuit Missouri v. Biden. The injunction found that government officials likely violated the First Amendment by suppressing protected speech, and the order states that government actors are barred from "collaborating, coordinating, partnering, switchboarding, and/or jointly working with” research groups and projects that advocate for censorship.

So what does this mean? Seems to me this means the GOP has a solid case for impeachment. Biden and his junta have been declared by a court of law (two actually) to have willfully violated the civil rights of Americans. I would calll that a "high crime and misdemeanor".

Thanks to a FOIA request by US Right to Know, some interesting email correspondence has revealed Fauci as a fraud.
The communication to Fauci was courtesy of Fauci’s chief of staff Greg Folkers, and on behalf of Fauci’s frequent co-author David Morens. The date was January 27, 2020, when China’s experience with SARS-CoV-2 was making the news all over the US. (I wrote my first article against lockdowns for Covid the next day.)
You can look through the entire timeline and see that this all checks out. It seemed ever more apparent what was going on here. Fauci and his cohorts were alerted to NIH funding of the Wuhan lab. They became convinced of the strong likelihood that this was a lab leak, accidental or deliberate. This began to make some sense of other reports from many months earlier of sick soldiers returning from the Military World Games. They panicked, and they worked on a cover-up.
"EcoHealth group (Peter Daszak et al), has for years been among the biggest players in coronavirus work, also in collaboration with Ralph Baric, Ian Lipkin and others,” wrote Folkers. In the past 5 years, and working with the Wuhan Institute of Virology, they had discovered hundreds of coronaviruses circulating in China. Further, the memo said, "clinical signs of bat SARS-CoVs in mice were not prevented with a vaccine candidate against SARS-CoV, and were not treatable with most monoclonal therapies being developed.”

"By the second week of January, I was beginning to realise the scale of what was happening. I was also getting the uncomfortable feeling that some of the information needed by scientists all around the world to detect and fight this new disease was not being disclosed as fast as it could be. I did not know it then, but a fraught few weeks lay ahead. In those weeks, I became exhausted and scared. I felt as if I was living a different person’s life. During that period, I would do things I had never done before: acquire a burner phone, hold clandestine meetings, keep difficult secrets. I would have surreal conversations with my wife, Christiane, who persuaded me we should let the people closest to us know what was going on. I phoned my brother and best friend to give them my temporary number. In hushed conversations, I sketched out the possibility of a looming global health crisis that had the potential to be read as bioterrorism. ‘If anything happens to me in the next few weeks,’ I told them nervously, ‘this is what you need to know.’”
Wow, these guys believed they would be off’d! That’s some crazy stuff there.
These weeks were the critical turning point. China had already locked down. Farrar reports that "the world had all the information it needed by 24 January: a potentially fatal novel respiratory disease that could spread between people without symptoms, with no vaccines or treatments, that had already ravaged a huge, highly connected Chinese city.”
Then, the possibility of a lab leak became very obvious in these days. "In the last week of January 2020,” he writes, "I saw email chatter from scientists in the US suggesting the virus looked almost engineered to infect human cells. These credible scientists proposed an incredible and terrifying possibility of an accidental leak from a laboratory or a deliberate release.”

they panicked that they would rightly be blamed for it because US
taxpayers funded the lab through a third party. They must also have

Fauci defaulted to the only action he could think of at the time: use lockdowns to minimize the spread. His staff had already taken a junket to Wuhan and returned with a report dated February 24, 2020 that said that lockdowns worked to suppress viral spread.
Lacking any better ideas, Fauci decided to push lockdowns as a way of minimizing the damage and keeping his reputation out of harm’s way by 1) denying the lab leak with a seemingly credible paper and 2) causing a hugely distracting amount of chaos by a lockdown that they convinced Donald Trump himself to back.
This would wreck the Trump presidency, which was a bonus from the point of view of the military intelligence already working to implement protocols from their recently concluded "germ games.”
Next in line came the necessity to involve the New York Times, which on February 28 ran an article calling for the US to "go medieval” on the virus in addition to an article by Peter Dazsak himself on the op-ed page!
Four days later, Fauci told Michael Gerson of the Washington Post on March 2, 2020, that no vaccine would be needed to get over the pandemic. "Social distancing is not really geared to wait for a vaccine,” wrote Fauci. "The epidemic will gradually decline and stop on its own without a vaccine.”
Why would he say this? Again, Fauci had been told that no vaccine in China seemed to work. Plus, he is not a stupid man – coronaviruses mutate too quickly – and had years of attempts to vaccinate against AIDS without success. So his thinking was that using force to stop the spread was the only real option for a man who was seeking to "cover his ass,” as the expression goes.
The big problem with the plan, of course, was that there needed to be an exit strategy. As soon as you open up, the virus is going to spread anyway. This was why Fauci welcomed all attempts at creating a vaccine anyway. At least the vaccine would provide an excuse to end the lockdowns.
But just in case it did not, he worked with his co-author David Morens on a big think piece that came out in Cell in August 2020. This was the paper that said lockdowns should really be permanent.

harmony with nature,” they wrote, "will require changes in human
behavior as well as other radical changes that may take decades to
achieve: rebuilding the infrastructures
Despite Fauci’s wishes, the most extreme aspects of lockdowns gradually faded away in time. Most anointed experts can pretend as if the vaccine ended the worst aspects of the pandemic (that’s why the mandates became necessary, if only to maximize uptake and confound the science), and Fauci keeps going on national television, despite his age and wealth, to dial back his responsibility for any aspect of it, including the lockdowns he is on record backing from February 26, 2020, onward.
In any case, this is a summary of current knowledge. There are of course, many other layers to this onion, including the early involvement of the pharmaceutical companies and the extensive intervention by the Department of Defense. Sadly, much of the necessary information to sort through that thicket is wholly classified.

And this would unquestionably have led to retaliation by the GOP, who could no longer remain passive. Now the GOP won't act because they think this just affects Trump and his allies. But if it starts going to elected officials in office they will hyave no choice but to fight.
So Fani Willis chose not to take such actions.
The recommended indictments were against Senator Lindsey Graham and former Senators Kelly Loeffler and David Perdue.

Oh, and you will notice Willis had to create a SECOND grand jury to get what she wanted.
BTW Grand Juries sit for six months, making it impossible but anyone who works for a living to sit on them. So they are full of welfare recipients, and others living on the government dole. That makes them far more amenable to Democrat political prosecutions.
And since the final verdict isn't their responsibility they are happy to indict; it's no skin off their noses.
So a politicized prosecutor can easily get an indictment if he or she chooses. And since the grand jury isn't an adversarial body there is no exculpatory evidence presented. The prosecutor is supposed to provide it, but in the case of a marxist like Big Fani it won't happen.
This sort of thing will continue until the law is turned back on these radicalized jihadist prosecutors. They must suffer personally to make them stop. Until then we can enjoy this spectacle with everyone who opposes the drive to the Bolshevik utopia.

I was in London ,England in the middle 90’s ,loved all the old historic buildings the beauty of old history as you walked down the streets ,past where the Queen had her stables of horses.So awed by the history of the city ,it took me awhile to realize how many foreigns had come in and now lived on the streets and in the shops .Faster forward to 2023 and it’s said London is now only 37 per cent white .a famous old building in the middle of the city is going to be made into a Muslim Synagogue and of course the mayor is now a Muslim .When will hearing English as the language ofthe people disappear? It’s not only London that has fallen into this new world ,all cities in the European nations are changing rapidly .We we’re all sold diversifying was the way to go it strength the nation made it become a better and smarter nation .But diversity is not now working and melting together ,it’s keeping what you have bought with you as a group and changing the nation to your way of thinking and encourage to do so .The western world is all loose their history that made them and build them to a complete new globel world .my opinion how it help happen ? All those wars in the last 50 years ,we bought all those displaced people and made migrants of them and move them all over theWestern world including from Africa,and it worked including the last new bunch Ukraines .We we’re told it was the right thing to do ,take in the homeless after we destroyed their homes ,but bring them into a better place .Yup look around, it worked ,just like the Governments planed

People ask me what we can do to get prosecutors under control and why there isn't a mechanism to stop them from bringing dubious charges.
There is a mechanism.
It's the grand jury. The grand jury is supposed to act as an investigative body, separate and apart from the prosecution, asking questions, demanding more evidence and generally deciding if a charge is to be brought and if the charge the prosecutor proposes is appropriate.
And that means the prosecution, since there is no defense present, has a duty and responsibility to present any exculpatory evidence or reason the alleged offender could be considered not worthy of indictment.
Such a role is noted in the 1992 SCOTUS case of United States v. Williams, than grand juries has the responsibility to act as a buffer between the Government and the people, providing a check on governmental power. In this case, the prosecution DID NOT present exculpatory evidence that would have negated the indictment the grand jury handed up.
It would be interesting to know how much "deliberation" the grand juries did in the various Trump cases but the process is secret, so I guess we will never know just how much of a rubber stamp these juries were.
Remember, the goal of a prosecutor is to get an indictment, nothing less.
I'm pretty confident that in the Bragg and Willis cases, these were a few slices of bread short of a ham sandwich, most of Jack Smith's as well. I'm pretty sure Bragg, Willis, and Smith have gone out of their way to hide from the jurors that their radical legal theories are just that - radical - and the presiding judge is simply not doing their job.
This system has been broken for a long time. Since this is not an adversarial process, prosecutors can lead these jurors by the nose to wherever they want them to go. Jurors need to understand that they are in charge, not the prosecutor or presiding judge.
It seems the prosecutors in these cases have checked leftie Twitter/X and chosen from that jury pool. Just remember Emily Kohrs, the grand jury foreperson in the Georgia RICO case...

I was called to Grand Jury duty once. I got off easily; my boss just wrote a letter saying I could not be spared for the six months you are on the jury. Sooo....only those who are unemployed can do it.
That means welfare recipients, those who make their living from less than honest means, and retirees. Only the last would make decent grand jurors, but even they have a vested interest in a political prosecution like this.
And I suspect most jurors are not too concerned with handing down an indictment or twelve; they figure the ultimate decision will be with the actual jury so it's no skin off their noses.
There should be some sort of legal accountability for the prosecutor and the jury. If the jury issues a bad indictment maybe the jurors would have to pay some sort of fine, or do community service? And if it is the prosecutor who doesn't provide exculpatory evidence he should likewise be punished. Personally I'd like to see him in stocks and have rotten tomatoes thrown at his face, but perhaps that's just me.

The U.S. originally built them to destroy the old Soviet bioweapons arsenal, but that was a quarter of a century ago. Those labs are still operating and it doesn't take a genius to figure out why. We are making bioweapons there to use on Russia. No question. And with NATO expansion being promised to Ukraine (even if under the table) the country could wind up with American nukes and American missile defense systems. Imagine if that were Mexico and Russians had all that on our border!
And as you say human trafficking is going on, and tons of money being laundered as well as drugs, which are no doubt finding their way into Russia. Putin might be a bad guy, but he and Russia had reason to fear what was happening.

See, they are desperate to keep Trump off the ballot and so are talking about Nikki Haley, who hasn 't got a snowman's chance in South Carolina to win. They know that. They want to muddy the waters and keep the pressure on to dump Trump. Notice it's a CNN poll they use that says Haley would win by 6 points; other polls show Trump up that far or farther.And of course if the GOP dumps Trump it will fracture the coalition and likely lead to a Biden victory. We'll have a Ross Perot situation in all probability, with people voting Trump even though he's not on the ballot (assuming he doesn't run as an independent.)

Ford Motor Company is about to go on strike. My brother is in his last year there before he retires, and he is worried because he's afraid his pension is going down. As he says, they haven't gotten cost-of-living raises in ages, and it's killing him with the sky-high inflation rates. Pension ers are having to seriously downgrade their life-styles because the pensions have lost their buying power (of course most of these UAW workers vote for the policies which caused that.) So there is general disgust in the working class and with good reason. i think even many of these union types will vote Trump, even if they won't say so - the polls likely are overweighted to Biden and the Democrats.

But the media wants to discuss age to excuse Biden's sins, and those sins stem not from missteps or a lack of proper vigor but from a dark, evil agenda that is trying to fundamentally transform America. Americans don't like it. We are happy with the country we grew up within.
Naturally the media won't say that, so they will blame it on Biden's age, and with luck they can convince the public that Biden is a decent man (he's not and never has been) who has just gotten a tad too old. It's not the case; he cut a deal with the power brokers in the DNC to be President and let them actually run things. This is the agenda of the Deep State, the rule of the bureaucracy and the giant corporations and the military industrial complex. It is the regime of the CIA and FBI and NSA. It is the regime of the internationalists and technocrats and corporatist/socialists. Most Americans don't understand that, but they do sense something is seriously amiss.
Gee: I wonder why? Could it be because of vote fraud? THAT, my friends, was Mr. Biden's truly great achievement. He was the man who "created the most inclusive and extensive vote fraud machine in history". I guess Americans like having their votes simply canceled by fake ones.
The fact of the matter is the Democrats have known this for some time, which is why they have gone all out, violated every rule, every convention, even broken laws to destroy Donald Trump. They are DESPERATE. They pushed too far, showed their hand, and now they are desperately trying to find a way out.
The reality is the people behind Biden are radicals who seek the destruction of America as it was founded and seek to create their own socialist state here. This is a revolution, the real insurrection. It's done through stealth and the control of the media, but it is an insurrection nonetheless. And they know it, which is why they may well dump Brandon. They are going to use every trick, fair or foul, to keep power.
If they do America is lost.

I've thought poorly of Mike Pence from well before he was Trump's Vice President and running mate. He was both stodgy and at the same time self-righteous and yet weak. He caved over signing Indiana's bill to protect pizza parlors and bakers from being forced to bake "wedding" products for gay couples because there was a fake outcry on Twitter.
Well, Pence has shown he's not only not the right man to be President but he has shown himself a liar to boot.

Former Vice President Mike Pence on Wednesday called on Republicans to choose classic conservative principles over "the siren song of populism" he sees pervading the party, a movement largely inspired by his former running mate, Donald Trump.
"The future of this movement, of this great party, belongs to one or the other -- not both. That is because the fundamental divide between these two factions is unbridgeable," Pence said in a speech at the New Hampshire Institute of Politics at St. Anselm College.
More than halfway through his speech, Pence directly named rivals Donald Trump and Vivek Ramaswamy, and also swiped at Gov. Ron DeSantis with comparisons of populism and progressivism, which he called "fellow travelers on the same road to ruin."
"Donald Trump, along with his populist followers and imitators – some of whom are also seeking the Republican presidential nomination -- often sound like an echo of the progressive they would replace in the White House," he said. "Like progressives the Republican populists insist government should dictate how private businesses operate. The Governor of Florida even used the power of the state to punish corporations for taking a political stand he disagreed with."
First, there is no actual definition of populism, and I doubt Mr. Pence could explain it if he tried. The fact is "populism" is a catch-all phrase for something that appeals to the general public. The HORROR! That the voters actually like the policies advocated by those in government!Do we have a democratic republic or an oligarchy ruled by self-styled intellectuals? That is the choice Mr. Pence seems to be offering us - and he's chosen the side of the Ruling Class here. The public's desires do not enter into it.
I would also point out Mr. Pence voluntarily chose to be on Donald Trump's ticket in 2016. Nobody forced him to do that. So, was Mr. Pence himself a populist before turning into Ben Stein from Ferris Buehler's Day Off? Or did he never believe any of it but rather just, uh, lied the whole time?
What does that make him?
I find it completely infuriating that Pence would say that about Ron DeSantis and what he did in Florida. Pence knows full well what happened there; Disney launched a campaign against DeSantis over the "Don't Say Gay" bill, which simply protected children from sexualization. Disney fought against this bitterly, So DeSantis got rid of a subsidy given to Disney which included their right to run their own internal affairs in their park.
In other words DeSantis ended corporate welfare - and THAT is what Pence is calling "punishing corporations who disagree with him".
They never should have gottent he sweetheart deal in the first place. That is crony capitalism.
In other words Mike Pence is part of the Establishment, who want to maintain the "partnership" between big corporations and big government. That is fascist economics.
I'm so glad Pence has little to no chance of winning the nomination. I would find it hard to pull the lever for so two-faced a man.
