All That Glitters

Timothy Birdnow

We knew it was coming. Countries around the globe are dumping the petrodollar and moving their assets elsewhere.

In Poland they are buying gold in large quantities.

From Zerohedge:

(Bank of Poland President) Glapiński also hinted that worries about the stability of the US dollar were driving the decision to increase the country’s gold reserves.

Gold is characterized by a relatively low correlation with the main asset classes – especially the US dollar dominating the NBP reserve portfolio – which means that including gold in the reserves reduces the financial risk in the process of investing them.”

The trend toward de-dollarizationhas only accelerated since Glapiński made these comments.

End excerpt.

And Poland isn't alone:

Central banks around the world have been piling up gold over the last two years. After a record-setting 2022, central bank gold reserves increased by 228 tons through the first three months of 2023,a Q1 record. This was 38% higher than the previous first-quarter record set in 2013.

Total central bank gold buying in 2022came in at 1,136 tons. It was the highest level of net purchases on record dating back to 1950, including since the suspension of dollar convertibility into gold in 1971. It was the 13th straight year of net central bank gold purchases.

According to the World Gold Council, there are two main drivers behind central bank gold buying — its performance during times of crisis and its role as a long-term store of value.

End excerpt.

So world governments understand the U.S. dollar is failing and are seeking to protect their assets. Wise.

Meanwhile U.S. Residetn Joe Biden continues to demand a "clean" debt ceiling increase, meaning he wants to continue spending at the rate he has been. It's only May at we reached the debt ceiling and he wants more money to blow. The Federal government has plenty of money to pay unpaid bills. What Mr. Biden wants is money to spend on frivolities and politically popular programs (and to launder money so it winds back up in the Democrat's coffers).  He and his friends see no problem.

Well, if foreign countries are stockpiling gold it means THEY see a problem. A huge one.

The U.S. economy is going to collapse. Unless adults get in power the spending will continue and the dollar will lose it's reserve status. Once that happens (and it's happening right now) the U.S. will become a very unwelcome negative on the books. Nobody is going to want to invest in America, or lend us money.

This is what happens when you elect a senile machine politician to the highest office in the land - at a time when sound economic thinking is needed. Biden has never run a business, or kept books, or done anything outside of government. He was a Senator, meaning he knew how to get money for his own state from the Federal treasury.

Donald Trump ran a multinational corporation; he knew how money worked.

Elections have consequences. America hated Trump's mean tweets. How much money out of your pocket is it worth to have a guy who doesn't call people names? I don't know about you but I would rather put up with some acrimony and a full wallet.

Security Agencies Will Interfere with Election

Timothy Birdnow

Ya think?

Former Deputy Nat'l Security Adviser: FBI, CIA & DOJ Will Rig 2024 Election
zerohedge.com

That is K.T. McFarland, who I always thought a lightweight. But she's right here. There were no consequences to the electoral manipulation in the last two elections, so they will go even bigger this next time.

The CIA, FBI, NSA, and the Department of Homeland Security all need to be dismantled. We have built a police state and they are acting just like entities in police states do.

Criminal Enterprise

@614clinton
I stopped a vehicle for a minor traffic violation. When I made contact with the driver I learned he did not have a valid driver's license and was in the United States illegally from Mexico.

I placed him under arrest and called ice to see if they wanted to deport him.

I called for a tow truck and made a inventory of the items inside of the vehicle. Once I open the trunk on the vehicle I found hundreds of stolen driver's license and social security cards.

I was reprimanded for my actions and sent to a cultural diversity training class.

Me: This proves our government is a complete criminal enterprise.

Cut Loose

"The freedom that was once founded on a biblical consensus and a Christian ethos has now become autonomous freedom , cut loose from all restraints. Here we have the world spirit of our age - autonomous Man setting himself up as God, in defiance of the knowledge and the moral and spiritual truth which God has given. Here is the reason we have a moral breakdown in every area of life. The titanic freedoms which we once enjoyed have been cut loose from their Christian restraints and are becoming a force of destruction leading to chaos…All morality becomes relative, law becomes arbitrary, and society moves toward disintegration.

The Improbable Abiogenesis

Carlos Velazquez

For the theory of evolution to be something real, it absolutely and logically had to be preceded or started in earth's history by a singular event, ABIOGENESIS, where non-living chemicals organized and arranged themselves to form a simple living cell with all its organs and features to define and sustain life.

Here is the first of a series of podcasts detailing the IMPOSSIBILITY of ABIOGENESIS (the first event in the ladder of evolution) by Dr. James Tour, PhD, (Purdue University), Synthetic Organic Chemist, Professor of Chemistry and Professor of Computer Science (see bio below).

He outlines the following features and processes that the most basic living cell has to contain or perform to qualify as an actual living thing:

1. Cell Membrane: A selectively permeable barrier that separates the cell from its external environment, controlling the passage of substances in and out of the cell.
2. Genetic Material: DNA or RNA, which carries the hereditary information necessary for cellular functions and reproduction.
3. Ribosomes: Molecular complexes involved in protein synthesis, where the genetic information is translated into proteins.
4. Metabolism: Enzymes and metabolic pathways that enable the cell to obtain energy and nutrients, as well as perform chemical reactions necessary for cellular processes.
5. ATP (Adenosine Triphosphate): A molecule responsible for storing and transferring energy within the cell.
6. Cytoplasm: The gel-like substance filling the cell, containing various molecules, ions, and organelles.
7. Nucleus (optional for prokaryotes): A membrane-bound organelle that houses the genetic material in eukaryotic cells.
8. Mitochondria (optional for some organisms): Organelles involved in cellular respiration, responsible for generating energy in the form of ATP.
9. Endoplasmic Reticulum (ER): Involved in protein synthesis, folding, and transport within the cell.
10. Golgi Apparatus: Responsible for modifying, sorting, and packaging proteins and lipids for transport to their specific destinations.
11. Lysosomes: Organelles containing digestive enzymes involved in breaking down waste materials and recycling cellular components.
12. Cytoskeleton: A network of protein filaments that provides structural support, maintains cell shape, and enables cellular movement.
13. Vesicles: Small membrane-bound sacs involved in transport, storage, and secretion of molecules within the cell.

Dr. James Tour is the T. T. and W. F. Chao Professor of Chemistry, Professor of Computer Science, and Professor of Materials Science and Nano-Engineering at Rice University. A synthetic organic chemist, he received his BS in Chemistry from Syracuse University, his PhD in synthetic organic and organometallic chemistry from Purdue University, and postdoctoral training in synthetic organic chemistry at the University of Wisconsin and Stanford University. He has served on the faculty of the University of South Carolina and as a visiting scholar at Harvard University. Tour has over 700 research publications and over 130 patent families.

Is King Charles the Antichrist?

Timothy Birdnow

Now it's time for a little tin foil on the old cranium.

At his coronation, King Charles III was anointed with olive oil from the Mount of Olives and consecrated at the Church of the Holy Sepulcher.

Charles is a modernist who wants to usher in a new era.

So.... is he the Antichrist? The Antichrist is a. European b.a faux friend to Israel c.has a "mortal head wound" which seems like to be a political or social injury from which he comes back miraculously - and Charles certainly seemed finished when the whole sex scandal and divorce broke and D. will seem erudite and educated but will only serve his own power.

I wouldn't think Charles would be said Antichrist but who can tell?  He certainly meets a number of the qualificatons. And England was in the old Roman Empire, so it would in fact be a revived Rome if one chooses to look at it that way.

BTW the Antichrist will rule via an organization of member states. While Brexit ostensibly took Britain out of the E.U. it is still a leader in NATO, and as the U.S. shrinks faster than a bottle of Scotch at a Kennedy family reunion, Britain may well reassert herself in Europe.

Charles is a huge supporter of "green" tech, too, which is being used to justify all sorts of draconian regulations. How long before someone like Charles proposes tagging everyone?

Leaving California

Nikki Grace

Voting in Texas could get very dangerous next year. People may organize to stand guard at the polls and demand citizenship evidence to vote.

This could get ugly with guards at the polls. While in San Diego, my son and I went to vote late from work. As we were leaving about fifteen minute to poll closing, two cattle trucks full on Mexicans drove up and they poured out and went into into the poll and lined up. I followed them back in and asked one of the poll official what was going on? I told her they were obviously picked up on the street corners where illegals stood around in San Diego. She refused to answer or look me in the eye. My son said "Come on Mom, let's leave" He was concerned about the mood in the room. That was the turning point for Orange County and San Diego County. The two Sanchez sisters won their races. I later figured out how they were doing it. The Mexicans voted on the registrations that hadn't voted yet that day. It was an inside job. That was the turning point for solid Republican Districts going Democrat. California was to become very anti-business. We left California a year later.

Ten Years After

John Lees

This year is the 10 year anniversary of when the arctic sea ice didn't disappear, as predicted, in 2013.
It doesn't look like it'll be disappearing any time soon.
It's currently frustrating the merchants of doom by tracking back within the 1 standard deviation bounds of their cherry-picked 1981 to 2010 mean.
Which in everyday English we call - normal conditions.
So more akin to "Every day is like Sunday" than "It's the end of the world as we know it"...

Church of England "Love Matters"

Nikki Grace

WHEN archbishops begin to think like Humpty Dumpty we know the Church is in trouble. In Lewis Carroll’s Through the Looking Glass we read, ‘When I use a word,’ Humpty Dumpty said in rather a scornful tone, ‘it means just what I choose it to mean — neither more nor less.’

The Church of England in its latest report, Love Matters, commissioned by the Archbishops of Canterbury and York and published last month, puts forward a vision of the future based on what it terms ‘love in action’, and for the archbishops love means something other than what it means in the Bible. It means ‘neither more nor less’ than acceptance and affirmation of that which the Bible terms sin.

The Roots of the Ukrainian Conflict

"Former President Trump leads President Biden by a 7-point margin in a new survey shared Friday with The Hill from Harvard CAPS-Harris Poll. Separately, the poll found Biden and Florida Gov. DeSantis to go Nuclear

Franchesca Bosco

Jeff Roe, a GOP political consultant, admitted in 2015 that he was the man behind an ad that allegedly drove Tom Schweich, a frontrunner in Missouri state’s GOP primary, to kill himself.

Jeff Roe used to work for Ted Cruz & Glenn Youngkin. DeSantis just hired him.

This is why President Trump called Roe the "kiss of death."

https://www.mediaite.com/online/ted-cruz-adviser-admits-to-making-ad-that-allegedly-drove-missouri-pol-to-suicide/

https://moscout.com/daily-updates-1/2023/4/21/moscout-daily-update-trump-calls-roe-kiss-of-death-jones-apologizes-sort-of-gardner-down-to-2-prosecutors-and-more

Tierney’s Real News

Tim adds:

As I live in Missouri I remember that affair. Schweich was a RINO who suffered from Crohne's disease. His suicide was over a number of things.

John Danforth presided at the funeral and he launched into a blistering attack on conservatives based on this whole Roe business. He propagated the claim that it was the ad that killed Schweich more than anyone. But I think it was a lot of different things.

Certainly Schweich was very depressed about his Crohns leading up to his suicide. He was on endless rounds of medication and truly suffered from the illness. I would add the ads that went after Schweich were quite tame compared to some of the stuff out there these days - particularly from the Democrats. Politics IS a blood sport! Schweich was a decent man, and didn't deserve it, but it's the nature of the game.

That said, I would say it shows DeSantis is going to go at Trump HARD!.

Hottest Ever in Australia

Murray Stewart

The hottest day on record?

Not 2010, BUT 1828 at a blistering 53.9 °C
Back before man-made climate change was frying Australia, when CO2 was around 300ppm, the continent savoured an ideal pre-industrial climate…….. RIGHT?

This is the kind of climate we are spending $10bn per annum to get back to….. Right again?

We are told today’s climate has more records and more extremes than times gone by, but the few records we have from the early 1800’s are eye-popping.

Things were not just hotter, but so wildly hot it burst thermometers.

The earliest temperature records we have show that Australia was a land of shocking heatwaves and droughts, except for when it was bitterly cold or raging in flood.

In other words, nothing has changed, except possibly things might not be quite so hot now!
Silliggy (Lance Pidgeon) has been researching records from early explorers and from newspapers.

What he’s uncovered is fascinating! It’s as if history is being erased!

For all that we hear about recent record-breaking climate extremes, records that are equally extreme, and sometimes even more so, are ignored.

In January 1896 a savage blast "like a furnace” stretched across Australia from east to west and lasted for weeks.

The death toll reached 437 people in the eastern states.

Newspaper reports showed that in Bourke the heat approached 120°F (48.9°C) on three days.

Links to documentary evidence (1)(2)(3)
The maximum at or above 102 degrees F (38.9°C) for 24 days straight!

Use the several links below to read the news reports at the time for yourself ……
1. By Tuesday Jan 14, people were reported falling deadin the streets.
2. Unable to sleep, people in Brewarrina walked the streets at night for hours, thermometers recorded109F at midnight.
3. Overnight, the temperature did not fall below 103°F.
4. On Jan 18 in Wilcannia, five deaths were recorded in one day, the hospitals were overcrowdedand reports said that "more deaths are hourly expected”.
5. By January 24, in Bourke, many businesses had shut down (almost everything bar the hotels).
6. Panic stricken Australians were fleeing to the hills in climate refugee trains.

As reported at the time, the government felt the situation was so serious that to save lives and ease the suffering of its citizens they added cheaper train services:

What I found most interesting about this was the skill, dedication and length of meteorological data taken in the 1800′s. When our climate is "the most important moral challenge” why is it there is so little interest in our longest and oldest data?

Who knew that one of the most meticulous and detailed temperature records in the world from the 1800′s comes from Adelaide, largely thanks to Sir Charles Todd.

The West Terrace site in Adelaide was one of the best in the world at the time, and provides accurate historic temperatures from "Australia’s first permanent weather bureau at Adelaide in 1856″.

Rainfall records even appear to go as far back as 1839. Lance Pidgeon went delving into the National Archives and was surprised at what he found.

The media are in overdrive, making out that "the extreme heat is the new normal” in Australia.

The Great Australian Heatwave of January 2013 didn’t push the mercury above 50C at any weather station in Australia, yet it’s been 50C (122F) and hotter in many inland towns across Australia over the past century.
See how many are in the late 1800′s and early to mid 1900′s.

You can’t blame those high records on man-made global warming!

A Big Deal Until it Isn't

Timothy Birdnow

Politicians’ hypocrisy: when one side is afraid they’ll lose an election they cast doubt on the integrity of voting machines, but these same folks will defend the integrity of voting machines if they win or look like they’ll win

The brave and accurate mainstream media seems to have forgotten the Democrats were the ones who warned about the dangers of the Dominion machines. https://www.warren.senate.gov/oversight/letters/warren-klobuchar-wyden-and-pocan-investigate-vulnerabilities-and-shortcomings-of-election-technology-industry-with-ties-to-private-equity In fact they were quite adamant about it. https://www.westernjournal.com/flashback-scary-warning-dems-voting-machines-just-last-year/ It should also be rememebered that the Democrats were all jacked up with conspiracy theories about the election of 2000 and of 2004 https://abcnews.go.com/WNT/story?id=239735&page=1 In fact, the GOP has chronicled over 150 examples of Democrats denying election results. https://gop.com/research/over-150-examples-of-democrats-denying-election-results-rsr/ Everyone seems to forget too that the Democrats challenged Trump's election, and even triede to stop the certification. https://www.politico.com/story/2017/01/no-trump-electoral-college-challenge-233294

There were riots all over D.C. on inaugural night. https://www.reuters.com/article/us-usa-trump-inauguration-protests/violence-flares-in-washington-during-trump-inauguration-idUSKBN1540J7 but unlike the Biden Administration the Trump DOJ dropped charges against THESE insurrectionists. https://www.nbcnews.com/news/us-news/government-drops-charges-against-all-inauguration-protesters-n889531 Yet the J6 self-guided Capitol tourists remain in jail without charge (in many cases) and often in solitary, denied access to attorneys, and are otherwise being treated worse than Nelson Mandela. Certainly lech Walesa, Head of Poland's Solidarity (which brought the Communists down) was treated no worse by the tyrants. (BTW a few months before the J6 event a bunch of Trump haters tried to storm the White House and POTUS had to go into an emergency bunker - but no claims of "insurrection" were made by the media, who called them protesters.)

I would also add the GOP had been under a court order since a bit of mischief in 1984 (in which a GOP operative sent out mailers changing the date of the election). That order lasted until Trump pulled out in 2018. They could not challenge any vote fraud whatsoever as part of the plea agreement. In that time the Democrats built what Joe Biden himself called "the most extensive and inclusive voter fraud organization in the history of American politics" . https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WGRnhBmHYN0

And the Democrats knowingly promoted the Russian collusion hoax and impeached Trump twice, but they would NEVER, EVER stoop to stealing an election! Pure as the wind-driven snow!
