Scapegoating

Carol M. Swain asks:

I am appalled no one important seems to be concerned about the legal rights and protection of #AndrewLester, the 84-year-old man who shot what he thought was an intruder and immediately called 911. If he had wanted to kill #RalphYarl, I believe he would have fired more bullets.

"I would like knowledgeable people from Kansas City to tell us what is being done to protect Mr. Lester and to ensure him a fair trial. Does he have a reputable law firm representing him and are the police protecting his home?"

Tim adds:

Amen! This thing smells to me. Lester clearly felt threatened. Indeed he would have fired more bullets had he been trying to kill the kid (and then dragged him inside so the castle doctrine would apply.) Almost all of the public infomration is coming from the boy and the boy's attorney - Benjamin Crump, the race hustling sleazebag who shows up whenever there is a shooting and who represented both the Brown family in Ferguson and Trayvon Martin's family. And they keep calling this kid an "honor student" which is reminiscent of the Bonfire of the Vanities. I suspect they are using an old picture of him, too, to make him look younger. They need another racial outrage to get the blacks back on the Democrat plantation and to hidesome vicious assaults by blacks on whites recently. Victim status must always be refreshed. So they are going to make a scapegoat out of this old guy, and he'll have little legal protection.

Utopians

Michael Smith

I've always been fascinated by Plato's Republic, More's "Utopia" and Thomas Hobbes "Leviathan". Each of these were created during what were more visceral, if not as complicated, times as our contemporary age of absurdity.

In particular, my fascinations focus on a common passage, being this one:

The Cliff Edge

Chester McAteer

US govt debt has gone from $1.2 trillion to $31.4 trillion since 1980.

1980 Debt to GDP = 26%
2023 Debt to GDP = 123%
2040 Debt to GDP = ???

When you recognize a cliff you try to avoid the edge...unless you're the government.

Who's laughing now Stephen Colbert?

Timothy Birdnow

Ad revenue for the leftist late night comedy talk shows has collapsed - a whopping 41%.

Why?

Without Trump they have nothing. Political correctness makes actual humor impossible, and their audiences, the uber-woke young dimwits, have no sense of humor anyway and don't buy stuff.

So Trump was their only source of content. Now they have nothing.

Who's laughing now Stephen Colbert?

Truth is Up for a Vote

Franz Unterreiner

Galileo stated:

"In questions of science, the authority of a thousand is not worth the humble reasoning of a single individual”.

When a book titled ‘A Hundred Authors against Einstein’ was published in 1931, Albert Einstein responded that if he was wrong then one author would have been enough.

A contemporary way of paraphrasing Galileo and Einstein is that truth is not decided by the number of likes on Twitter.

Tim adds:

That is sooo 20th century!  Don't you know that we live in a new, democratic era where reality itself is put up to a vote?

It was All Fake

Maurizio Morabitu

BREAKING: In private sworn testimony, former acting CIA director Mike Morell says that The Biden campaign asked him to organize 50 colleagues to sign a letter in Oct. 2020 falsely claiming that emails from Hunter Biden’s laptop published by The NY Post were Russian disinformation.

Tim adds:

And yet it is Donald Trump being prosecuted for paying a non-disclosure agreement to a porn star making allegations about him publicly. Strange; we are fine with fake news when it's to the benefit of those who hold eternal power.

You Bet There is Election Fraud!

Timothy Birdnow

There is no vote fraud in America, they tell us, none at all!  Trump is a liar and those who think there are are simple "election deniars".  I heard that said on a local news broadcast on KMOV here in St. Louis; the reporter actually called Mike Lindell (the Mypillow guy) an "election denier". This is a vile, vile term trying to equate those who believe the Biden camp stole the 2020 election with Holocaust deniers, who usually do so because of hatred of Jews.

At any rate, we have been told repeatedly there is nothing to see here, move along. So, why did this happen?

East St. Louis is America's first Third World city. Sitting across the Mississippi River from St. Louis, it is the most corrupt, depressed, "Third World s#^%hole" in the country. Run by Democrats for decades it is a great place for a killing. In fact it has higher homicide rates than many Third World areas.

It was once run by organized crime, and they are still present in the strip clubs and other criminal activities there. But now the city is a bankrupt hellhole that once lost their own city hall to creditors. And, as people steal street signs and the light bulbs from street lights, you have to count the number of streets you pass if you are trying to get anywhere.

So...it's a classic Democratic paradise.

So would someone kindly explain to me how there can be a huge uproar over voter fraud in the city of East St. Louis?

Yes, a recent election in the fine city has been marred by vote fraud on a massive scale. And it sounds much like what Donald Trump complained about when they were busy stealing HIS election.

Much of the complaints center on mail-in ballots and ballot dumps. Just as in 2020 (and 2022).

This is not new. Back in March Illinois state police arrested an East St. Louis city clerk for election interference. So we know there has been an ongoing problem with election integrity there.

The point is, it's happening and in Democrat-controlled areas. East St. Louis was just so careless as to get caught.

So, how many other places are functioning like East St. Louis? How many precincts, cities, states were stolen in the last couple of elections?

Why is Mike Lindell an "election denier" when we have evidence of vote tampering in other instances?  The only difference here is it is one Democrat using the rigged system to cheat another rather than a Republican -and most especially rather than Donald J. Trump.

Suppport for Climate Alarmism Falling

Timothy Birdnow

As the Ruling Class tightens the screws to the Western World's economy the public is growing increasingly restive. Belief in manmade climate change is waning even as our betters tell us it's "settled science".

Climate Scepticism on the Rise Throughout the World

FTA:

A recent poll conducted by a group within the University of Chicago found that belief in humans causing all or most climate change had slumped in America to 49% from the 60% level recorded just five years ago. Similar falls have been recorded elsewhere, with a recent IPSOS survey covering two thirds of the world’s population revealing that nearly four people in every 10 believe climate change is mainly due to natural causes.

Perhaps the most surprising statistic from the Energy Policy Institute at the University of Chicago (EPIC) survey is that 70% of Americans are unwilling to spend more than $2.50 a week to combat climate change. Nearly four in 10 Americans said they were unwilling to pay a couple of dimes. Despite decades of relentless green doomsday agitprop designed to corral populations into living under a collectivist Net Zero-ordered society, it appears that the vast majority of Americans are unwilling to pay even the chump change in their back pockets to stop the climate changing.

Surveys such as EPIC and IPSOS speak to the fundamental flaw in the ‘settled’ science surrounding the suggestion that humans burning fossil fuel are causing the climate to breakdown. The hypothesis is unproven – not a single science paper provides conclusive proof. Natural causes and the proposition that carbon dioxide becomes ‘saturated’ beyond certain atmospheric levels are more convincing explanations for scientific observations. Fears that mainstream climate science is heavily corrupted by faulty data, pseudoscientifi c modelling and outright political cherry-picking are becoming more widespread.

Interestingly, the recent overall fall in support for human-caused climate change in the U.S. is due to Democrats and Independents.

[...]

The IPSOS survey found that levels of climate scepticism were similar in all age categories. As with EPIC, it found that political leanings were decisive. In the seven countries where political input was sought, 28% of supporters of the Left turned out to be climate sceptics, compared with 50% on the Right.

[...]

Acording to the FIRES report, written by a number of British academics, Net Zero means just 60% of current levels of food cooking, heating and energy by 2050. Within less than 30 years there will be no beef and lamb, and all flying and shipping will have to stop. Road use will be restricted to 60% of today’s levels. There will be no cement, and the only steel available will be recycled. Norman Fenton, the recently retired Professor of Risk Information Management at Queen Mary University of London, noted that these conclusions are consistent with UN/WEF Agenda 21, the UN ‘World at 2050’ agenda and the WEF Great Reset. The latter, noted Fenton, incorporates ‘Build Back Better’ in which you’ll "own nothing and be happy”, and eat bugs instead of meat.

Another senior academic, the nuclear physicist Dr. Wallace Manheimer, recently warned that Net Zero would lead to the end of modern civilisation. The new green infrastructure will fail, cost trillions, trash large portions of the environment, and be entirely unnecessary. Manheimer noted that before fossil fuel became widely used, energy was provided by people and animals. Because so little energy was produced, "civilisation was a thin veneer atop a vast mountain of human squalour and misery, a veneer maintained by such institutions as slavery, colonialism and tyranny”.

Tim adds:

Basically what we have witnessed is a generation long War of the Worlds scare. Like the people running for the hills when Orson Wells aired his radio version of a Martian invasion, we've had people running for cover from literally hot air. It's all fake and phoney and designed to take power from the People and consolidate it into a few governments and corporations and NGO's.

It's worked, by and large. The assumption now is it's real and we base policy on it.

This whole Ukrainian war, for instance, wouldn't be happen ing had Joe Biden not killed off the American oil industry; it made Russian oil so profitable that Putin could afford to invade the Ukraine and keep fighting. Had Biden taken steps to increase supply the demand would have dropped and Putin would have been defunded. There are real world consequences for this, and lives are being lost.

The fact is this was always about the Great Reset. The intention was to hamstring Western economies so the Third World could catch up and there would be economic parity between all peoples. That's fair, isn't it?  Make everyone poor so the poor can be equal!

And by limiting wealth it must be carefully doled out by unbiased parties, namely, governments. It's the way to have a bloodless socialist revolution.

And in the process the world's population will shrink, one of the fondest wishes of the Malthusian Left, which has always been about getting rid of the "dirt people" and creating a pastoral paradise with just a few of the upper crust.

Everything the upper class Left has ever wanted is mixed into the Climate Change bag. Getting things like the Paris Accords in place was the equivalent of Christmas to them.

But now the public is starting to realize the Boy was crying wolf all along.

Is it too late to stop them? I fear it just may be. They won't let this go without a nasty fight. And they own the means to disseminate information, which is why they can stifle the opposition. The Climategate e-mails should have told us the dirty tricks they were willing to play. And the fact NOAA and NASA regularly fudge data.

Sadly, it's taken this long for a sizable segment of the population to figure it out. It required pain in the pocketbook.

But, like all revolutions, once done they are very hard to undo. Counter-revolutions are tough. And that is what we must have now.

Let Them Eat Cake!

Timothy Birdnow

Rice is the world's top staple crop by far. So what are we supposed to do? I guess most Asians should just die "for the planet".

Rice is to blame for around 10 percent of global emissions of methane, a gas that over two decades, traps about 80 times as much heat as carbon dioxide. Scientists say that if the world wants to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, rice cannot be ignored.

The Next Big "Civil Rights" Movement

Timothy Birdnow

I predicted years ago that the next big "civil rigthts" battle would be the right to rape little kids. It appears I was correct.

New UN-backed legal recommendations normalize sex with minors, outraged critics say

Yes, the vile United Nations is calling for the acceptance  of pedophilia.

A shocking report issued by international legal experts with the backing of the United Nations appears to open the floodgates to normalize sex with minors.

"Sexual conduct involving persons below the domestically prescribed minimum age of consent to sex may be consensual in fact, if not in law," the Geneva-basedInternational Commission of Jurists wrote in March with an assist from UNAIDS and the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights.

The report is titled "The 8 March Principles for a Human Rights-Based Approach to Criminal Law Proscribing Conduct Associated with Sex, Reproduction, Drug Use, HIV, Homelessness and Poverty."

Does this surprise anyone?

U.N. Peacekeepers were notorious for raping young girls in nations they were "helping". And we all know about Jeffrey Epstein and the multiple American politicians who took their pleasure in the underage sex salves of the late unlamented scumbag. Those people include such top names as Bill Clinton. See here for a list of names of famous visitors to the Epstein Isle of Rapee.

The U.N. report falls short of actually calling for decriminalization of pedophilia, but it is clearly aimed at that. It is the first step in a new struggle for the "right" to rape children.

And make no mistake; it is a movement that is the coming thing. The American Psychiatric Association now says pedophilia is not always a mental disorder. This is exactly what they did in 1973 with homosexuality, clearing the way for the rise of the gay rights movement.

The New York Times concurs.

Speaking of the gay rights movement and pedophilia, it is well acknowledged in gay circles that most homosexual first experiences happen between adult men and underage children. They get 'em young so as to recruit them to the life.

I suspect this drive to adopt pedophilia stems in no small part from that little detail. The Left seeks to twist human sexuality outside of traditional Judeo-Christian chastity and purity. How many people reject Christianity and the traditional values our country was founded upon based on sex? Many, I think. That is why the Left has always used and abused sexuality to recruit and promote their Godless, vile doctrine.

So now the U.N. is getting behind pedophilia (pardon the pun.)  Is anyone surprised?

This will be the next big "civil rights" movement.

Why Fear?

Timothy Birdnow

Barack Hussein Obama (Pee, er Peace Be Upon Him)  has purchased both beachfront property in Martha's Vineyard and in Hawaii, despite his fears of sea level rise caused by climate change.

Some have accused Mr. Obama of gross hypocrisy.

Nah. He is merely accepting the reality as he sees it. After all, when a man believes he walks on water why need he fear rising sea levels?

Murdering America

Timothy Birdnow

Now the law restrains good men and those working to maintain law and order and empowers the bad. This will inevitably lead to economic and social chaos. And the economy is guaranteed to crash as the current leadership wages war on the cornerstone of all modern economic activity - fossil fuels. They are promoting a "something from nothing" energy approach and strangling the core of the industrial base. You couldn't do a better job of murdering a nation if you tried. That's why I find it hard to believe even Joe Biden is this grossly incompetent. I believe this is The Revolution so longed for by the sixties hippies who now run the country.

Interst-ing

Chester McAteer

A few things to keep in mind...

For fiscal year 2023, the US government will generate $2.3 trillion in income tax.

The US will also collect $1 trillion in Social Security and $409 billion in Medicare.

Meanwhile, interest expense on US debt is expected to hit $500 billion.

The US will officially be paying more money in interest on federal debt than what is collected for Medicare.

By 2033, annual interest on US debt is expected to hit $1 trillion, or 25% of annual government revenue.

Interest on US debt will soon be our biggest expense.

Turnabout is Fair Play

John Lees

Well, this is precisely what I was expecting.
You really can't blow up someone's major pipeline and then express surprise that they might be planning to reciprocate.
It's lucky that we have all that moth-balled legacy coal-fired generation capacity to fall back on.
What? We blew it all up? In our quest for net zero? Well then, we'll just have to accept that with just a few key strikes on undersea infrastructure then our grid and consequently our economy would collapse:

What We Value

Lou Konscol

"Today I read a comment on social media about how other countries pity America because of the school shootings. As a nation, we have found a means to provide security for every municipal building, airport, and bank across the country. And we did it without even a discussion about gun control or the 2A.

November 19, 2001, just two months after 9/11, Congress passed legislation to establish and fund the TSA. The FY2023 budget for the TSA is about $9B. That’s less than 1 half of 1% of our national GDP. Why can’t we do the same for our public schools? Maybe because this is a political issue more than anything else.

If anyone pities America over this issue, it’s probably because they can clearly see what we refuse to see. That we are very capable of safeguarding what we find important. And our schools didn’t make the list.”

- William Avants

Lou Note- This horrible and deliberate orchestrated crucible of public school shootings fostered by the unregenerate oligarchic architects of a comprehensively contra-Christia n civilization serves their agenda in at least two ways:

First, it postures a dread and violent societal instability, particularly focusing on the next generation. This is meant to promote the artificial narrative that American functioning under a Constitutional Republic with a Biblio-Christia n heritage is insufficiently equipped for ‘today’s problems’.

Secondly, it promotes the notion that our ‘beloved’ children are altogether mortally vulnerable per the many overwhelming problems inherent in America as we have known it. Drastic measures must be implemented for the ‘good’ of the children (ironically, despised in reality by the new world builders).

The wretched fingerprints of the Evil One, so-to-speak, inundate the Cultural Marxist modus operandi being employed to reconstruct America in the image of Satan.

Children, made in the image of God, are being politically prostituted, even sacrificed upon the varied demonic altars in order for their blood to water the seeds of Satan’s contra-kingdom to the Lord God and His Christ into fruition
