Trump Stays on Minnesota Ballott

Timothy Birdnow

Minnesota court; no insurrection.

Trump remains on the ballot in the North Star state - for now.

Actually the state supreme court did not rule on whether Trump led an insurrection or not but rather said the GOP could put an insurrectionist on the ballot and get away with it. A copout. And they left the door open for a new attempt. But it's clear they fear being spanked by the U.S. Supremes.

Our northern tier editor Dana Mathewson lives up in the frozen north wasteland. Perhaps he would weigh in?

Ramaswamy

Ramaswamy

(With apologies to George Gershwin and Irving Caesar.)

He's been running for President now for a long time
He never thought you would miss him
And yet somehow he feels America's love is real
Your President he wants to be
the candidates are screaming, it's campaign time
while Joe Biden's words are slurring, Joe's a really nasty slime
I know America yearns for Vivek too
Ramaswamy, you call out to us!

Ramaswamy, how we love you how we love you
America's Ramaswamy!
He'll run the world, you'll see
not just for folks in Dee See
even though the folks back home in cincinnati
are waiting for him
praying for him
voting Ramaswamy
but in Wisconsin will see him no more
when Trump comes in and takes the floor

Bumper Crops and Farm Busts

Timothy Birdnow

Record corn production is going to drop the price of corn down - and hurt the farmers who will be getting less for their produce.

"The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) raised its estimate for the nation's 2023-24 corn crop to 15.234 billion bushels in a monthly report, from 15.064 billion in October."

What does this mean?

It's good news for the Democtats and the Left.

First, the ethanol put in gasoline will be cheaper, thus temporarily lowering gas prices just as the election unfolds. It won't last but it will give Biden a boost at a key time.

Second, it will further erode the small farmholder's financial situation, thus allowing corporate farming conglomerates (who all support the Democrats) to buy up even more family farms.

As America loses private farms - the backbone of America's small business economy - we see a further centralization of power and more government control imposed.

My question is why did we have a larger crop than expected? We were told we had a sweltering summer, hottest ever, and that this would lead to crop failures and we were all going to die. But instead of a crop failure we had a bumper crop. What gives?

Why, it's almost as if warmer weather INCREASES crop yield!

But I wonder; what machinations went on behind the scenes, at the Department of Agriculture, at the Food and Drug Administration, at the Department of the Interior, etc. to help foster a larger crop. Were impeding regulations relaxed? Were farmers given goodies to sweeten the pot?

I don't know but it seems to me there is much of value to the Democrats with this.

Only in our modern crypto-communist era can a productive farm season be bad news for the country, but I fear it is.

In related news Australian sheep prices bottomed out, leaving one of Australia's prime animal husbandry industries in crisis.

This will have a similar effect Down Under, consolidating the ranches and undoubtedly leading to many becoming the property of Australia's radical government.

Throughout the Western World there has been a quiet war waged on traditional farming. The goal of the Ruoling Class is to reduce the population, get us all eating bugs and weeds, and then let these lands go fallow, return to this mythical paradise that was a state of nature. I see the bumper crops of soybean and corn being just another tool to accomplish this goal.

Stein on the Run

Timothy Birdnow

Commie Jill Stein is running for President again since radical Joe isn't crazy enough for her.

Run, baby, run!

What is that sound I hear? It's the sound of the Democrat iceberg calving as the Left cracks up.

photojournalists playing a despicable role

Jerry S Rainforth forwards this:

Media photographers' role in atrocities by Hamas on Oct. 7
allisrael.com

"In this case, images of ‘lynchings, kidnappings and storming of Israeli kibbutzim” now are tangible evidence that equally indicts photojournalists playing a despicable role in this tragedy by not having even the most minimal of a working conscience – which should have kicked in as a normal impulse, feeling sickened by what they were witnessing – and exposing for all the world to see.

But even before those images were captured, the very fact that they were alerted to what was coming down, should have been enough of a shock warning to immediately contact police or even others who had the ability to notify the military or do something!"

Radicalizing School Boards

This courtesy of Jerry S. Rainforth:

School Boards Becoming Partisan (and more liberal Left)

Fairfax County, home to Virginia’s largest school district, is mired in controversy for including books with obscene content in school libraries, handing out allegedly severe punishments to elementary school students for not using preferred pronouns, and neglecting to notify students of their national merit awards. Candidates endorsed by the Democratic Party won all 12 seats by wide margins.

Bills were proposed in six states this year that would allow school board candidates to declare a party affiliation. Most states currently require nonpartisan school board elections.

Bad Night for the GOP

Timothy Birdnow

The Democrats won a vacant seat on the Pennsylvania Supreme Court, all but guaranteeing the Democrats will get away with stealing the state.

Granted, the Democrats always do well in off-year elections, primarily because they have the machine to get out the votes - and they are willing to cheat. Republicans don't try very hard in such special elections.

But this suggests America is too apathetic and immoral to survive. We can see now why nations fail; their people are too stupid to see what they are doing is killing them.

Oh, did I mention there were problems with the voting machines in PA?

In other bad news the Donkeys won the Virginia House and so now control the state legislature. And in Ohio a constitutional amendment passed making abortion a civil right.

It was a bad night last night.

Election Chaos: Machines Down, Vote Flipping, Gas Leak & Police Pursuit [VIDEOS]
Machines 'failed' in 18 states on election day?

When will the GOP finally stand up to this?

FTA:

During the critical hours of Election Day, voters in Pennsylvania and Kentucky faced unexpected hurdles. In Pennsylvania, several districts reported downtimes of voting machines, causing disruptions and concerns over the potential impact on voter turnout and election results. The machine malfunctions forced voters to wait in long lines, with some precincts resorting to emergency paper ballots to ensure that every vote could be cast.

Your Tax Dollars at Work

Timothy Birdnow

My 91 year old father has been being harrassed by the IRS and now the State of Missouri.

He's used H and R Block to do his taxes for years. In 2018 they filed his taxes and no problem - until two years ago when the IRS came after him with a vengeance. His accountants called several times and supposedly had it straigntened out and then they came back with even more. In the end he settled the account for $11,000 some odd dollars.

But it's not over. A couple of days ago he got another bill for $2500 stemming from this same 2018 tax bill. And he got a $3,000 bill from the State of Missouri based on information provided by the IRS to the state government.

Now my dad can't hear so I went over to try to deal with this. I called the state first and got a very nice woman who couldn't find his account. She kept asking if he was at a different address. She said teh city wasn't coming up (ST. LOUIS!) I told her he lived there for over fifty years and yet she couldn't find him. She told me we had to get a form from the IRS to amend the bill.

So I called the IRS and spent over four hours on the phone then had some Middle Eastern woman hang up on me.

Each time I had to answer a series of questions about his last years' return, many of which I struggled to find (I have vision problems). The IRS also couldn't find his name by address - they clearly are the ones who screwed that up for the state of Missouri.

The first person I spoke with was a customer service guy and he was nice but said he couldn't help me. He pushed me off to collections, who after going back through all the same stuff I had to cover with the first guy said they couldn't help me and pushed me off to the third person. (BTW the second person was also some sort of Middle Easterner and both had heavy accents, making it almost impossible to understand at times.) The third woman was clearly new and had no idea what she was doing. She kept putting me on hold for three, five minutes then coming back. Eventually she spoke with someone and then came back "you hav e to call back when you are better prepared" she said.

I told her no, I've been on for four hours and we're going to deal with this now. She simply refused and hung up on me.

Four hours of this bull, for a bogus tax bill my father already paid.

The things is the first agent I spoke with admitted the account showed paid in full as of this spring, and this is a charge stemming from 2018. He couldn't udnerstand it.

So basically this is going to go on indefinitely. I don't thin he can pay his way out of it or work with the IRS to get this matter closed. They seem to have targeted the man.

I guess I'll have to find a tax attorney to settle this.

At any rate, that is your government hard at work for you. Joe Biden hired 87,000 new agents to further harrass the citizenry. And they have no respect for the elderly or sick or poor.

Anyone who votes for the Democrats these days is a monster. YOU created this horror.

At any rate my blood pressure was sky high by the end of it, and I feared a stroke. The bad thing is I will have to go over to my dad's on Thursday and try this again (I have to get an eyeball shot). I know I won't fare any better too; they clearly are just trying to make us go away and will simply keep playing musical electric chairs with us. Our government is nothing but a bully and abuser.

I am going to have to contact my state rep and Senator.

What is SMART?

Tom DeWeese

Most people, when observing the use of the word SMART in reference to community planning or as an attached label to power meters and home appliances , believe it refers to "intelligent," "unique," or "scientific" new ideas for protecting the environment and cutting our carbon footprint. In fact, use of the word SMART is actually engineering lingo meaning: S-Specific M-Measurable A-Achievable R-Relevant T-Time Oriented. In other words, use of the acronym SMART means a controlled outcome in a specific period of time.

Russian Natural Gas

Andrei Piritutko

Europe imported about the same amount of Russian liquified natural gas (LNG) from January to September 2023 as it did during the same period last year — but some countries experienced notable increases.

Spain and Belgium increased imports of LNG from Russia by 50 percent during this period, year-on-year, while France saw Russian LNG imports rise by 40 percent, a report revealed on Tuesday (31 October).

Approximately 27 percent of Spain's imported LNG for this period came from Russia, and Belgium relied even more heavily on Russia for 37 percent of its LNG. France, for its part, had 15 percent of its LNG coming from Russia.

Founders were Deists?

Selwyn Duke

A recurring theme heard among leftists, and even many conservatives, is that the Founding Fathers were "Deists." (In reality, hardly any were.) In keeping with this, many of those thus contending will claim that the Founders only talked about God, but not Jesus. Well, read the following quotation:

"Oh, eternal and everlasting God, direct my thoughts, words and work. Wash away my sins in the immaculate blood of the Lamb and purge my heart by Thy Holy Spirit. Daily, frame me more and more in the likeness of Thy son, Jesus Christ, that living in Thy fear, and dying in Thy favor, I may in thy appointed time obtain the resurrection of the justified unto eternal life. Bless, O Lord, the whole race of mankind and let the world be filled with the knowledge of Thee and Thy son, Jesus Christ." — George Washington

Doesn't sound very Deistic to me.

No Global Warming in the Sticks

Timothy Birdnow

Dr. Roy Spencer showed that global warming is primarily an artifact of the Urban Heat Island Effect and not of carbon dioxide.

Well...

Looks like there is no global warming in small town USA (or any other small town.

No Greenhouse Gas Warming in Tiny Towns in US

"The goal for this study was to identify the highest-quality temperature data for towns with the lowest populations, longest temporal span, and that were well-distributed across the continental US. Selection criteria were not optimized, but future work could examine the impacts of slightly less stringent selection criteria to achieve more data points."

$11 BILLION to the Taliban

This courtesy of American Greatness via Tyler Duden at Zero Hedge:

A new watchdog report reveals that the country of Afghanistan hasreceived a staggering $11 billion in foreign aid from the United Statessince the country’s collapse in August of 2021

AsBreitbartreports, the Special Inspector General for Afghanistan Reconstruction (SIGAR), John Sopko, issued his report on Monday.

Sopko says thatthe U.S. and its allies have been sending "cash shipments” of about $80 million to Afghanistan "every 10-14 days” since the Taliban took overthe country shortly before the withdrawal of all American forces.

Sopko said that the United Nations has assured him that all of the money has been "placed in designated U.N. accounts in a private bank,” and is not being "deposited in the central bank or provided to the Taliban.”

The U.N. Assistance Mission in Afghanistan (UNAMA) similarlyclaimed that all of the cash shipments are being "carefully monitored, audited, inspected, and vetted in accordance with U.N. financial rules and processes.”

Despite these claims, Sopko’s report noted that the Taliban has stolen foreign aid before, and has also been able to prevent the poorest elements of a foreign population from receiving aid that has been designated for them; some of the Taliban’s methods for stealing foreign aid include "siphoning cash from U.N. shipments, or collecting royalties, or charging fees on cash shipments.”

New Geoengineering Scheme

Timothy Birdnow

Another crazy geoengineering scheme to "save the planet from the fictitious planetary emergency of global warming.

FTA:

According to IEAGHG, which funds the research and development of carbon capture and storage (CCS) technology, CCS has been around since the 1920s, yet there were only five major CCS projects globally about a decade ago.

Since then, the potential for the technology has gained ground, with a number of new initiatives in development. Scientists are reportedly cautious, however, about investing too much hope in CCS.

Another potential roadblock to the plan? Cost.

The National Academy of Sciences projects it will take between $100 to $150 to remove just a single ton of CO2, per Bloomberg. Yet Vesta reportedly believes it could remove a ton of CO2 for only $21.

If that projection is accurate, the startup’s technology could go a long way in helping our planet.

Olivine is a magnesium iron silicate. The plan is to dump tons and tons of the  stuff to absorb carbon dissolved in sea water. It's insane and unnecessary (most carbon dioxide absorbed by the oceans turns into limestone.)

We have these hubristic imbeciles plotting to destroy the environment all in the name of saving it.

Does anyone remember the old lady who swallowed the fly? She kept swallowing bigger stuff to kill the last thing she swallowed until she died. The cult of the Gang Green is like that.

The Hissing Trannies

Timothy Birdnow

Tranny drag show - at Notre Dame!

Notre Dame is Catholic, or used to be.

The bible makes it quite clear:

1 Corinthians 6

Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind....shall enter into the Kingdom of Heaven

DDEUTERONOMY 22:5

There shall not be an article of a man upon a woman, and a man shall not put on a wrapper of a woman, because everyone doing (who does) these (things) is an abomination of (unto) the Lord your God.

Genesis 1:27

And God created man to his own image: to the image of God he created him: male and female he created them.

Romans 1:25-27 does not specifically mention transgenderism but it discusses homosexuality and how it is a  mortal sin. Transgendered are generally homosexuals.

25 They exchanged the truth about God for a lie, and worshiped and served created things rather than the Creator—who is forever praised. Amen.
26 Because of this, God gave them over to shameful lusts. Even their women exchanged natural sexual relations for unnatural ones.
27 In the same way the men also abandoned natural relations with women and were inflamed with lust for one another. Men committed shameful acts with other men, and received in themselves the due penalty for their error.

In short, it is indeed a sin to be transgendered, as it is to be homosexual - or carnal in other ways such as being an adulterer or slut - including man-slut.

But it is sin and celebrating it at Catholic university is absolutely beyond the pale.

Is it any surprise though? They changed their fight song just this year. Maybe instead of being fighting Irish they can be the hissing trannies!

More on Tidal Pumping

Richard Cronin

Just got to thinking again about the helical motion of the planets in our solar system as the Solar system orbits the Milky Way. Tidal pumping opens up earth’s tectonic plates to release seismic heat into the waters of the sub-equatorial South Pacific to drive the El Niño Southern Oscillation (ENSO).

Think of the Solar System as a football and the Milky Way as the quarterback.
The Milky Way grabs the football and sets up to throw. The very tip of the football (the Solar System) is the Sun. Your eyes look down the field and you don’t even think of the Sun. Your pinkie finger is closest to the Sun. The other planets (your larger fingers), especially the gas giants, are further back.

The quarterback (Milky Way) has a cannon for an arm. He throws that football (Solar System) at 70,000 km/hr (43,500 mph).

The Milky Way sets up and looks downfield to see his primary receiver and secondary receiver. The primary receiver is a star and usually gets the tightest coverage. Stresses build as the receiver and cornerback struggle and the tectonic stresses build due to Tidal Pumping. The quarterback must wait for the receiver to get clear of the coverage. Stresses build.

Finally, the receiver breaks free (Tonga Hunga eruption Jan. 15, 2022 in the Southwest Pacific) and the quarterback rifles the ball for a reception ( end of the La Niña).

Next sequence of downs, the quarterback sets up and throws to the opposite side. The drive continues. (El Niño).

Of course, these passing routes are close in the flats, with bullet passes. No wobble.

Then the quarterback sets up for the long ball. The ball is accurately thrown but wobbles a bit. In a long ball the quarterback must hold the ball a little tighter with his forefinger and thumb (gas giants) near the end of the solar system. Ergo, at the rear end of the the football (Solar System) it wobbles a bit more. Therefore, at the distant gas giants, they wander outside of the ecliptic, the plane of the orbits for the inner planets.

Now, at half-time, go take a pee and get a Bud Lite.
