Texas Gov. Abbott's Weak Response

This from Eric Chapman

I don't think the democrats fleeing TX have taken the vax like they say. THAT's misinformation about the Vaccine's effectiveness. There's a 98% chance they're lying and haven't taken the vaccine at all... The vax is exponentially better than what they're sickness rates say

May be an image of text that says '90% Population: TX Democrats Obstructing Government (Insurrectionists) 95%-96% True Probability: 5% TX TXDEMS DEMS WITH Covid- 19 4%-5% TXDEMS WITHOUT Covid- TXDEMS WITH Covid- 9 TXDEMS WITHOUT Covid-19 NORM.DIST(x, μ, TRUE) Statistical chance they're lying about taking the Vaccine 98.48% 10% x 5 Covid-19 Democrats 50 Total Democrats Fleeing 96% Advertised Vaccine Efficacy 0.028 σ'

I think Governor Abbott should declare a state of emergency, allow zoom voting and stipulate that Covid sickness allows for a vote without members there.

That if these people have internet access they're "present" for the quorum. Its totally valid and constitutional.
.. what if covid was 10 times worse and people were getting sick... government would/should shut down? It's an emergency like they say... I say give it to them.

Then, they'll have to have injury and be in the state to have standing in order to even sue him. They can't sue him in TX court being disenfranchised
in D.C.

They'd have to go back or sue in federal court... but federal court has no jurisdiction in state voting rules...thus, he can legally pass a quorum or they'll have to come back to stop him... like a chicken and egg thing.

He knows this. They don't want to fix shit

Tim adds:

I don't understand why these steps aren't being taken by Abbott and the GOP. The Democrats would never shrink from this.

The Big Lie in America

Timothy Birdnow

During WWII the OSS worked up a psychological profile of Hitler. They had this to say about his approach to lying:

His primary rules were: never allow the public to cool off; never admit a fault or wrong; never concede that there may be some good in your enemy; never leave room for alternatives; never accept blame; concentrate on one enemy at a time and blame him for everything that goes wrong; people will believe a big lie sooner than a little one; and if you repeat it frequently enough people will sooner or later believe it.

This comports with a quote attributed to Joseph Goebbles:

"If you tell a lie big enough and keep repeating it, people will eventually come to believe it. The lie can be maintained only for such time as the State can shield the people from the political, economic and/or military consequences of the lie. It thus becomes vitally important for the State to use all of its powers to repress dissent, for the truth is the mortal enemy of the lie, and thus by extension, the truth is the greatest enemy of the State.”

Doesn't this sound exactly like modern America? In modern America the Left never lets the public cool off, but always has some new crisis or emergency. They never admit fault despite the fact most of their programs have failed spectacularly and made things worse. They portray conservatives as evil incarnate. And they go really, really big with their lies - like the Russian collusion hoax against Trump.

When viewed from this perspective it's obvious the Left is very much in line with Naziism.

If you look at how they treated Trump over the term of his Presidency you see all of this in action. They claimed Trump colluded with the Russians to steal the election. They claimed Trump threatened the Ukrainians to make them indict Biden's son. They claimed he incited an "insurrection" when all he did was hold a rally and accuse the Democrats (correctly and with ample evidence) of stealing the election.

And always it is endless repetition of a simple shibboleth. "Bush lied people died" or "flatten the curve" or "racist" until the public believes whatever crap they are peddling.

"Climate change" is one great example; they've pushed this for a generation now. The Covid panic is another.

Of course this all comports with Saul Alinsky's Rules for Radicals. Alinsky merely took the Nazi playbook and applied it to a more contemporary audience and formalized it.

Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton were both devotees of Alinsky.

None of this works without the media; you can't repeat a lie if you don't have the outlet. And this cuts both ways, as Big Tech is now censoring Conservatives, stopping them from showing this IS a Big Lie. It is an attempt to restore the old control the Left had when there were just a few television networks and key newspapers. They were furious they lost this to talk radio and the internet, but now they pretty much have it back.

We now live in a Fascist state.

Covid Prison Colony

James Doogue

This is what they are saying about Australia overseas as we continue to flout the WHO recommendations of using lockdowns as a last resort to allow health and other resources to get organised. See WHO advice: https://www.msn.com/en-us/health/medical/who-official-urges-world-leaders-to-stop-using-lockdowns-as-primary-virus-control-method/ar-BB19TBUo

'While the world moves on, Australian leaders have painted themselves into difficult political corners with un-keepable promises. This has led them into a range of medical mandates seen as tyrannical.

National Cabinet has left state premiers bickering with each other about whose lockdowns are better in what has become a competition to impose the harshest restrictions.'

Australia has far fewer people in ICU with Covid-19 than we normally would with seasonal influenza. And far fewer people have died from Covid-19 in Australia than we normally have deaths from seasonal influenza and pneumonia. See: https://www.spectator.com.au/2020/08/the-miracle-of-coronavirus-350-flu-deaths-for-july-2019-just-one-in-july-2020/

Given we closed our international borders and require entrants to quarantine, if we had state governments with half decent contact tracing systems, these blanket lockdowns should be unnecessary.

Subsequent Infection with Variant Virus

Timothy Birdnow

Covid after vaccination:

Emerging variants of severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2) are of clinical concern. In a cohort of 417 persons who had received the second dose of BNT162b2 (Pfizer-BioNTech) or mRNA-1273 (Moderna) vaccine at least 2 weeks previously, we identified 2 women with vaccine breakthrough infection. Despite evidence of vaccine efficacy in both women, symptoms of coronavirus disease 2019 developed, and they tested positive for SARS-CoV-2 by polymerase-chain-reaction testing. Viral sequencing revealed variants of likely clinical importance, including E484K in 1 woman and three mutations (T95I, del142-144, and D614G) in both. These observations indicate a potential risk of illness after successful vaccination and subsequent infection with variant virus, and they provide support for continued efforts to prevent and diagnose infection and to characterize variants in vaccinated persons."

Newt Gingrich
Kevin McCarthy was exactly right in describing Liz Cheney and Adam Kinzinger as "Pelosi Republicans”. They have broken with their party, strengthened Pelosi and undermined the House Republican Conference (which Cheney once chaired). This is just part of an historic realignment.

Election analysis and fraud detection

Jack Kemp

Jay Valentine has a very interesting article at American Thinker about how election fraud can be quickly detected. It is called

Want to See Election Fraud in 24 Hours? Send Us Your Data!

Here are some highlights (or lowlights):

Tens of thousands of Michigan ballots were received before they were mailed.  Enough "anomaly" to have a data analyst fired from a third-rate college course if he ever brought this kind of files to a data course. Word quickly got out, and we now have seven states' voter registration data...
Using fractal programming, a new programming paradigm, we showed these citizens their data at silicon speed within a day or two.

Brainwashing in Minnesota

Timothy Birdnow

A Minnesota school issued a survey to fourth-graders about "equity" and were told to keep this from their parents.

From Fox News:

According to a vieo
uploaded by Alphanews, when students didn’t understand some of the survey questions, they were told by a teacher in the Sartell-St. Stephen School District to not repeat the survey questions to their parents.

"The survey asked questions that some students didn’t understand. Even after hearing an explanation from their teacher, some still couldn't comprehend the survey questions," The Center Square reported.

Kelsey Yasgar said that although parents were "informed that the equity audit was taking place, they were not informed on the date of the activity and not given other details." She explained further that due to the lack of transparency from the school district and from Equity Alliance Minnesota, the third party that administered the survey, parents were not informed of the questions being asked to the students.

Yasgar was "very upset" when her daughter told her that she was instructed by teachers not to repeat any of the questions being asked of them.

"I do want to say though I believe that this wasn't a single case that her teacher made this decision. We had been informed that this came down from the administration and Equity Alliance of Minnesota instructed them to make sure the children did not share this information with their parents and that should pose a great concern in any parents' eyes," Hayley said.

Fox News reached out to the district superintendent and Equity Alliance of Minnesota for statements but did not receive a response.

If this is o.k. why hide it from parents? Who should have the ultimate decision in how and what children are to be taught - parents or educrats?

This is pure brainwashing.

The Death of Christianity

Timothy Birdnow

I agree; Christianity has fallen in the Western World and in America. We now practice a strange new secular religion. You NEVER hear about the salvation of souls or the eternal destination of souls that is the bedrock of Christianity. (Why do what God asks of us if it doesn't matter?) The Churches refuse to teach true Christian faith, and the culture has swallowed up Christian values and replaced them with the old pagan and atheistic worldview. Being "good" is now the goal, but what is good without the core principle of Christ and His salvation? "Good" then becomes subject to democratic interpretation. Rioting becomes "good" when it is accepted as the norm. We were supposed to be rooted in eternal things, not the winds of mortal time. We have forgotten what we believed.

Here's How the COVID “Pandemic” Was Orchestrated

Timothy Birdnow

Interesting. Paul Craig Roberts dishes on how Covid "pandemic" was orchestrated:

How the COVID "Pandemic” Was Orchestrated

"As a malaria preventative, the artemisinin-bas ed therapies could have similar properties to HCQ and thereby provide similar protection against COVID as HCQ.

The fact remains that according to the World Health Organization, over the entire length of the COVID pandemic Tanzania has only 509 cases and 21 deaths attributed to COVID Tanzania’s population is nearly 60,000,000, which means that COVID is a non-existent problem for Tanzania.”

Note: Of the 509 "cases”, 183 have been declared "Recovered”, which means 305 must have been false positives.

Big Ed

From Steven Chase:

Once again this old adage explains how Universities became cozy friends of Big Government. From 450 Billion (during Bush) to 1.7 Trillion (under Obama). And this does NOT show total debt; only the SECURITIZED amount. How did America manage to educate Americans just a few years ago, without burdening them with 2 Trillion dollars of debt?

Timothy Birdnow

I have to ask, why do we need masks to fight Covid? Why can't we just IMAGINE there's a mask there, or better yet, sing along with John Lennon "Imagine there's no Covid..." I ask this because people say a man can simply put on a dress and then he becomes a woman. We are told this by medical people even who insist sex is but a state of mind. It's not what you are it's what you THINK you are. So I ask again, why are we masking up? Shouldn't it be possible to just believe we are wearing a mask? Woy is it good enough for the transgendered but not good enough for America where Covid is concerned?

Munchausen Covid

This from John Lees:

I've just been on the hunt for some scientific confirmation of the existence of "Long Covid". The problem that we have is that in any time period there are people who for various reasons report that they are chronically ill, without any known cause. Oddly, the majority of these people are women. Formerly they would be diagnosed with chronic fatigue, fibromyalgia, or M.E. which are typically just catch-all names given to a range of symptoms, from tiredness, mental fog, chronic aching of muscles and joints etc. mostly associated with aging or poor diet. Sometimes they decide that they have a more specific condition such as Lymes Disease. However, when examined none of these individuals have any clinically determined disease.
My proposition is that in the last year such people have developed a new fixation, with the idea that they have Long Covid.
Looking at the figures from this scientific paper, I notice that of the people who believed that they were suffering from long Covid - near 80% of them were women, AND only 27% of the group had ever been diagnosed with Covid.
I remain unconvinced, I believe that Long Covid is mostly a disease created in the minds of people who are bored, scared and generally feeling unwell most of the time anyway.
Excerpt from: https://www.medrxiv.org/.../2020.12.24.20248802v2.full.pdf

Tim adds:

I believe the term you are searching for is Munchausens. They are people - usually women - who want to be sick for the attention. I suspect a lot of the "long Covid" cases are Munchausen.

Mr. Lees replies:

All this exists in a fuzzy grey area between feeling genuinely sub-par, and being willing to make a fuss about feeling sub-par.
Western societies are full of people who clearly have chronically poor health. Sometimes to a debilitating degree. Whilst not actually having a clearly defined disease with a known treatment.
They probably mostly sincerely believe that they have Long Covid. Desperate people are experts in self-deception.

Tim responds:

Well said John! There are indeed people with chronic disorders and others who like the attention or are just hyper-focuses on themselves (narcissistic) and find every ache or pain and turn it into a crisis in their own minds. People who don't work are often like that; they have nothing to occupy their minds so they hunt for problems. I suspect that is part of the "long Covid" business as well; so many people were left at loose ends from the lockdown and began worrying over every little physical ailment.

Black Culture is the Problems

Warner Todd Huston

Leftists claim everything whites do is "privilege" and "racism." Whites enjoy hiking, but that is "racist" because blacks don't go to parks and forests much. Whites enjoy reading books, but that is "racist" because blacks don't read much. Whites speak English clearly, but that's "racist" because blacks speak "street." Whites graduate high school, but that's "racist" because fewer blacks do that. Whites drive cars to get to work, but that's "racist" because fewer blacks own cars to get to jobs. But, none of this is evidence of "white racism." It is all evidence of black culture. It isn't cool to hike in the woods. It isn't cool to read books. It isn't cool to go to school. It isn't cool to speak English straight and clear. It isn't cool to get jobs far enough away that you need a car. Black culture says those things are "white" things to do, and so they don't want to be caught doing them. So, why are we blaming whites when it is black culture that is the problem, here?

Arguing with Idiots Extreme Moron CRT Edition

Timothy Birdnow

I'm having an argument with a person who is a proud idiot, happy to make a total fool of himself and not even care he's doing so.

Tommy Step starts out bloviating about Critical Race Theory:

People who complain about CRT don’t understand what it means. It’s a complicated boogeyman for people who are uncomfortable with social sciences. The absurdity of governments dictating which facts and theories educators must discuss needs to stop if we are to escape the socialist totalitarian state all patriots fear. America is open to all ideas. Cancel culture .. especially of ideas is abhorrent to me. It’s a choice to live in ignorance and I choose not to (sic - no period.)

I reply:

No Tommy Step the problem is we DO understand what Critical Race Theory is and what it is about, which is why so many oppose it.It comes from Critical Theory which ultimately came from the Marxists at the Frankfurt School. It's Bolshevik to the core - and is being taught not as one rather angry and idiotic social theory but rather as the fundamental reality of America, and this to young kids who do not know any better. I would add all sorts of similar ideas are NOT taught in schools these days. Do they teach eugemics? National Socialism? Is phrenology taught as a science? Lysenkoism? So why is CRT, a horribly racist belief, any different? Nobody is stopping you from learning about it if you choose; what is being banned is school systems promoting it to young kids as the truth of America.

Tommy missteps again:

Timothy Birdnow so you don’t?

I retort:

Well then why don't you enlighten us if it is not what we know it to be Tommy Step. Give it a go.

Old Tommy can't:

You want me to light your strawman on fire? Nah. You can start by providing support for your claim. I'm not the one making a claim that something is true. You are. If you can't back it up, it's just words.

You think they don't teach kids about nazis (sic) in school? Funny. How foolish (sic again; no period.)

I reply:

No Tom; it is YOU making the extraordinary claim and so the burden of proof is on YOU to back up your assertion. I simply responded. It started out as Citical Theory, going back to Mancuso and the Frankfurt School (as I pointed out) which then morphed into Critical Legal Theory then Critical Race Theory. It's all Communist through and through. It was an attempt to find a new form of class struggle since the failure of Bolshevism and the class disparity didn't really exist in the West, most particularly in the U.S. Here is a very basic primer on it, but there are more in-depth works on Critical Theory. https:// imprimis.hillsda le.edu/ critical-race-th eory-fight/You still have not provided any facts to buttress your argument, I might add. Oh, and we teach about Nazis but not the philosophy of National Socialism (a leftist ideology similar to but in competition with Marxism) and certainly not in an approving fashion as is being done with CRT. It was a nice try Tommy.

The Spraying Chinese

From Lance Sjogren:

It occurred to me, the practice of the mainland Chinese regime to haul sewage out to sea in ships and dump it in the South China Sea to reinforce its illegitimate claims to that territory is sort of an ugly human version of animals in nature peeing or defecating to declare an area their territory.

Not exactly a way to make friends, though.

The penalty for that regime's behavior should be the forfeiture of its occupied territories: Hong Kong, Tibet, East Turkistan, and Inner Mongolia.

Tim adds:

I had a mouse problem in my house and they would sneak up behind me and spray. The Chinese are kind of like that.

"Settled Science"

From Ken D. Berry MD:

Back in the 1940-50s a Lobotomy in the treatment of certain mental disorders was considered "Settled Science". If a doctor questioned this barbaric procedure he would have been viewed as ignorant or inadequate.

In fact, in 1949, the inventor of the procedure, Doctor António Egas Moniz, was awarded the Nobel Prize for his discovery. Lobotomy was considered Standard of Care, and any neurosurgeon not performing this accepted procedure would have been considered sub-standard.

Looking back now, we realize how ignorant these doctors were, and how dangerous this procedure was. Thousands of patients had their SELF destroyed by this procedure and became docile, robotic, non-humans

So, when you hear someone say the phrase "Settled Science," just remember that the Lobotomy used to be that. When you hear someone talk about Standard of Care, realize that this is often based on no meaningful research, and based entirely on the opinions of a few "experts" in the field.

There is no such thing as Settled Science, everything should be questioned and studied.

Standard of Care is a false paradigm implying that we know everything about a subject there is to know, and that this model should not be questioned.

Think, study, watch, research, debate; we are figuring it out as we go.

Tim adds:

Well said Dr. Berry! And remember how they used to assure us stomach ulcers were caused by rich and spicy food and stress, when in fact they were caused by infections easily treated.Or when they told us we needed to eat more grain and everyone got fat as a whale? They laughed at Dr. Atkins for his all-protein diet but he was eventually vindicated. When "the Science is settled" we become stuck in a morass of superstition and idiocy.

And don't forget eugenics was "settled science" in its day.

John Lees adds:

Back at the turn of the century madness in women was put down to "hysteria". The cure involved removing their womb. That continued for decades.
More settled science.

Only in America

This from David Nabham:

Everything posted to all embassies in Vienna under the Hapsburgs first passed thru a "black chamber” where armies of forgers, linguists, cryptanalysts opened, decoded, copied and resealed it. Austrians had so much info on everyone that they offered biweekly reports of the world’s secrets for 1,000 ducats. But some even now insist on the eternal enemies of privacy as the guardians of our privacy, although they're the same people also wanting Dracula in charge of the blood bank.
