Oh Ignorant Eh!

Timothy Birdnow

In a discussion about Covid and how they keep fudging the numbers I was reminded of the Three Stooges (great American philosophers.)

Curly " I don’t see any grouse."
Moe, after kicking him:
" See any now?"
"No."
"See any now?"
"No."
Hits Curly in the head.
"Oh, look at the grouse!"

That's pretty much how the Left operates; they beat you over the head until you say "oh, look at the grouse!" They repeat, repeat, repeat the same stock phrases and make the same juvenile arguments. Eventually everyone sees these things as part of the background of life and accept them as truisms, no matter how ridiculous or easily disproven.

Take the way they made everyone believe the Nazis were "right wingers" despite the fact the world socialism is in the name of the party. How do you pull that off? By endless repitition. "Look at the grouse!"

They are trying to do that now with the election theft. Every single story from any mainstream press has to have the line in it "Donald Trump claims fraud with no evidence". This endless repetition will eventually catch on and future generations will believe there was no reason to suspect this election was fraudulent. It's just a matter of forgetting about facts and details and accepting the gentle admonition of Big Brother.

Eventually he will knock that pesky devotion to reality right out of you!

Larry: "What's the matter"
Moe: "How do you spell chrysanthemum?"
Moe "Oh, ignorant eh?"
Moe to Curly: "How do you spell it?"
Curly: "C-h-r-y-s-a-n-t-h-e-m-u-m."
Moe slapes Curly "Why weren't you here a minute ago."

Damned Lies and Statistics

Richard Cronin

U.S. Population in millions
2016 = 323.1
2017 = 325.1
2018 = 327.2
2019 = 328.2
2020 = 332.7

2021 (projected) = 331.4

We were told that the winter of 2019 and the full year of 2020 were the worst for Covid deaths. Half a million, all Trump’s fault. Yet U.S. population grew by 4.5 million, from 2019 to 2020.

My mother caught the Covid in April 2020, beat it, and we have a picture of her tooling around in her walker at her assisted living home on Memorial Day, May 30, 2020. She subsequently received the vaccinations early this year. She passed away in April, 2021 at age 99 due to a series of strokes. The strokes affected her motor skills but right up until the end she knew all of us and could weakly say "I love you”. A good long life. She outlived all of her contemporaries.

Tim adds:

A House report showed Covid deaths remain inflated in the official numbers. By how much is anyone's guess. See also here
(Hat tip; Chester McAteer for the links.)

That said, it frightens me that the population rose almost nine million in four years. The U.S. is already the third most populous country on Earth, and our population keeps rising not because Americans are fertile but because we let anyone in who can crawl up to the border. This stat no doubt doesn't take illegals who are in hiding into account either. How long can we maintain our country if we are being invaded and overtaken by aliens with no cultural ties to America?

Biden Shows He Hates America

Timothy Birdnow

Joe Biden has revoked several of Trump's executive orders, including his "garden of heroes" to honor Americans, his order protecting Americans from online censorship, and his order protecting monuments from being desecrated by Antifa and BLM.

From Breitbart:

President Joe Biden revoked an executive order Friday to create a National Garden of American Heroes, initially planned by former President Donald Trump.

Biden also revoked Trump’s order to prevent online censorship, and his order to protect American monuments.

Biden could have modified Trump’s initial order but instead revoked it entirely.

The White House did not say why Biden revoked his predecessor’s executive orders but sent the text of his order to revoke Trump’s priorities to reporters on Friday afternoon.

Trump announced his plan to build a monument to the greatest Americans in history in July 2020, when leftist radicals were vandalizing statues and monuments of famous Americans.

I take issue with calling the usurper "President Biden"; he is not President, but rather a pretender as he stole the last election.

But if you set that aside, you still have to face the fact that Biden won't honor American heroes, and refuses to protect our national monuments to the point of actually rescinding a rule ordering their protection. His junta hates America, plain and simple. And he's in charge through treachery and deceit.

Joe Bide hates America.

Someone who loves this country would not go to the trouble of actually rescinding (as opposed to perhaps modifying) these orders by his predecessor.

To all my Democrat friends who voted for Biden, is this what you want? Do you want an America led by a junta that hates you and the rest ofus? Do you really want America "chopped down to size" by a leader who stole the election and is now acting like a mad tyrant, when he's not trying to order pizza on the red phone? C'mon man!

Coldest Period in Ten Thousand Years

Timothy Birdnow

Check this out!

Greenland ice core studies suggest we are living in the coldest period in ten thousand years.

This flies in the face of IPCC claims, the Paris Accord, and COP26.

Increasingly Global Warming theory is being proven wrong. But, like cheap fusion or other things, it is too useful a tool for some to allow to expire. It's rather like concepts of magic; nobody ever successfully performed an incantation or used a potion to fly but people keep trying because it would be so wonderful if they could make it happen.

Global warming is like that to the Progressives.

French Fried Philosophy

Timothy Birdnow

Here is a ridiculous essay by National Review's Victor French about how "Christendom" is damaging Christianity (as if there is such a thing as Christendom anymore). And here is a fine rebuttal.

Here are my thoughts on the subject:

The French/Kierkegaard argument is at odds with C.S. Lewis, who argued that the disciple of the present has an enormous advantage over the disciple of Jesus' time because we have a culture that, until the last half century or so, fostered and nurtured the Christian faith aka we had a Christendom. Lewis, himself originally an atheist, became a zealous defender of the Faith, and that could only have happened in a "Christendom" type of setting.

There is a reason why the Church became an institution and did not practice the early Christian manner of communal religion. It was needed to act as a bedrock for the multiplicity of pagans and the onslaught of heresies. It provided the foundation from which souls could be saved. Without that Christianity would have withered away as it would have been swallowed by other, less democratic, more immovable faiths. (Just as Mithraism died in the Roman Empire, despite being similar to Christianity in some ways; it did not have the structural integrity of the early Christian Church.)

French's idea that millions of Americans are somehow under the spell of Christendom is laughable; many people don't have a particular church in America, and those who do are often luke-warm at best. And much of what is preached is insipid Barney the Dinosaur "let's all be nice" kindergarten religion. Churches stopped the fire and brimstone preaching long ago, and certainly stopped talking about politics since L.B. Johnson reformed the tax law to make it hard to enter the political fray without risking losing your tax-exemption.

As to French's flagellating sin and it's cover up, that is the old Progressive playbook, only put to French's service. Any large institution will have sexual and other misconduct. In fact, there are more public school teachers raping underage students than in the Catholic Church, but French fails to mention this because it upends his thesis.

Notice how French says "falsely proclaimed" about the fear of Hillary Clinton becoming President; shows the man has no understanding of the moral and spiritual danger we are in at this point in history.

And his raging against Trump shows both an unhinged mind and calumny; he is willing to falsely accuse Trump of sins in violation of the admonition of Jesus and the Commandment against bearing false witness.

I'd really like to know how French thinks we can spread the Gospel and hold Christianity together, prevent the spread of heretical doctrine, without a structure to keep it together? His vision would lead to endless fracturing of the Faith until it became as meaningful to society as Druidism or Manicheanism.

The fact is Christianity has been a light to the world and that is in no small part because of the structures and institutions put in place. Pure Christianity, were it to be kept somehow pristine and transmitted without error, is the key to the salvation of souls, but it can not remain in it's pristine form without someone acting to keep it thus and to transmit it, and that means a structure in place. There is no value to a doctrine that is malleable and idealistic. People live in a real, physical world and have to adapt their faith to life. That adaptation has to be nurtured and guided by a Church. Jonestown is an example of what can happen without a central guiding moral and spiritually accurate authority; Jones became essentially king because his followers stopped listening to "Christendom" and wound up accepting the word of a charlatan.

The Church alone can't get you into Heaven, but without the help of this "Christendom" French so despises few will find their way out of the maze that Mankind is trapped within. These are flip sides of the same coin. French fails to understand that.

Ragin' Biden

Timothy Birdnow

Biden was known for flying off the handle. It was part of his "working stiff" image. But now he's much worse about it. Remember how many times he threatened to beat people up in the last year? I think the man has lost whatever screw he had rattling around in there.

This is a sign of Alzheimers.

African Death Masks

This from David Nabhan:

Africa, with 1.35 billion, in the last 18 months has lost 125,000 people to the Great Plague--the same place where malaria has been sweeping away whole populations since the dawn of time and where humans have developed defective blood cells that kill them off decades early as an acceptable trade-off against the killer. How odd the oh-so-concerned hand-wringers around the world STILL haven't rallied to sending mosquito nets, but dutifully opted for another politically correct item.

Tim adds:

So why the relatively low numbers of deaths? Hydrochloroquin

e? Natural immunity from fighting off malaria? The warm climate? Or is it that the killers in Africa cannot be easily mistaken for Covid and so the Wuflu numbers are not artificially inflated? The question is why isn't anyone asking the question.

As you say, they won't send mosquito netting but are happy to supply face masks. I guess if the Africans get enough masks maybe they can sew them together into netting for their beds.

I Demand a Recount!

Selwyn Duke

https://www.selwynduke.com/2021/05/washington-doctor-demands-a-recount-of-covid-deaths.html

At Social Security’s birth, it was promised that workers would never be taxed for the program at more than six percent of their income. Today SS takes 12.4 percent. The government had long said there were "only” 11 million illegal aliens in our nation, but academic studies place the actual number at two to three times higher. The Centers for Disease Control had maintained that the risk of contracting the coronavirus outdoors was "less than 10 percent,” but it turns out the agency made a bush-league mistake: The actual number may be less than 0.1 percent.

Even though the above well reflects the government’s track record, there could certainly be an exception to the apparent rule that government numbers are as accurate as a blind archer with vertigo. I’m not aware of one, though. This brings us to the claim that "500,000 Americans have died of COVID.” Is this really a possible first, that elusive exception to the state errancy norm?

Dr. Thomas T. Siler sure doesn’t think so, and he’s consequently demanding a recount of SARS-CoV-2 deaths.

Free at Last, Free at Last!

Timothy Birdnow

With the growing revolt against the binding and gagging of America, and with the Biden Administration in trouble for mishandling (well, malhandling) everything, the CDC issued new guidelines saying masks can come off for the vaccinated. Of course, they can't check paperwork so wearing masks will be on the honor system, and most of us are not going to honor their system.

The City of St. Louis and St. Louis County, the fiefdom from which I hail, has announced they will be ending the masking mandates. Private businesses will be allowed to continue restrictions as they see fit, and Target announced they would not suspend the mask mandate.

To quote one of the nurses at the hospital where my wife is getting treatment "I'm so done with this!"

It is astonishing Americans allowed themselves to be forced to wear these things. There is considerable evidence masking accomplishes nothing but psychological damage and causes respiratory issues and other problems. Even the sinister Bond-villain Dr. Fauci called them talismans early on. Other popular doctors stated their disagreement with the ridiculous face-diapers. Europe's top health official thinks they are useless. Television's Doctor Drew Pinsky said masking was useless.

Sanjay Gupta trashed CDC guidance on masking recently:

"It pains me to say this, but I see where she’s coming from, Senator Collins, on this," Gupta responded, before explaining there was a concern at the beginning of the pandemic that the CDC wasn't providing scientifically based guidance, and, as a result, the country didn't react the way it should have.

Gupta added that now he thinks the country is seeing a reverse problem.

"The science is not necessarily being followed to the same extent, and as a result, we’re probably doing things that we don’t need to be doing," Gupta said. "In the end, the CDC needs to be just a science-based organization. What does the science say? You don’t need to wear a mask outside. It’s just one of these things that, again, we’ve known this for some time. We didn’t know in the beginning. We’ve all learned a lot over the past year."

He went on to say there have been negligible cases of outdoor transmission of the virus.

Shoot, even Deborah Blix warned masks give a false sense of security.

And multiple studies going back years show little value to masking to prevent the spread of infections, and especially Covid. Here is a story about a Danish study showing no value to facemasks. See more here. Also here, and here.

Here are eight reasons not to wear a mask.

The fact is masking serves purposes not at all in line with American values. They are to compel obedience to the authorities. The ruling class wanted to make Americans do something antithetical to their nature to show them they had the power to do it. They also serve to dehumanize people and atomize them - something that has aided in the political fracturing of the country and the moving forward of the Leftist agenda. Americans no longer see each-other as human so much as just masked faces. It was intended to restore confidence in "experts". It was, of course, designed to help in establish a feeling of crisis, of emergency, which would help drive Trump from office, and allow Biden to push radical ideas.

According to this bit of research which debunks the CDC's research from earlier this year:

Does the CDC really think that masks prevent the wearer from getting Covid, or from spreading it to others? The CDC admits that the scientific evidence is mixed, as their most recent report glosses over many unanswered scientific questions. But even if it were clear – or clear enough – as a scientific matter that masks properly used could reduce transmission, it is a leap to conclude that a governmental mandate to wear masks will do more good than harm, even as a strictly biological or epidemiological matter. Mask mandates may not be followed; masks worn as a result of a mandate may not be used properly; some mask practices like double masking can do harm, particularly to children; and even if a mask mandate results in some increased number of masks being worn and worn properly, the mandate and the associated publicity may reduce the public’s attention to other more effective safeguards, such as meticulous hygiene practices.

Thus, it is not surprising that the CDC’s own recent conclusion on the use of nonpharmaceutical measures such as face masks in pandemic influenza, warned that scientific "evidence from 14 randomized controlled trials of these measures did not support a substantial effect on transmission…” Moreover, in the WHO’s 2019 guidance documenton nonpharmaceutical public health measures in a pandemic, they reported as to face masks that "there is no evidence that this is effective in reducing transmission…” Similarly, in the fine print to a recent double-blind, double-masking simulation the CDC statedthat "The findings of these simulations [supporting mask usage] should neither be generalized to the effectiveness …nor interpreted as being representative of the effectiveness of these masks when worn in real-world settings.”

At any rate, they have finally deigned to allow us to remove the face diapers (only if you have been vaccinated with the experimental drug). How big of them! And we should be grateful to our masters for letting us show our faces in public! (Does anyone see a similarity between this and Sharia Law?)

America should have risen up against this violation of our persons long ago. It is, after all, one of the Constitutional Amendments, being secure in our person.

I am astonished at how passive and meek the American People have become.

Here is another article about doctors who have come out against masking.

See also here. From the article:

Instead, a DuckDuckGo search reveals it was picked up by ZERO mainstream media outlets and Big Tech tyrants will suspend people who post it, as political strategist Steve Corteslearned the hard way when he posted a Tweet that went against the face mask narrative. The Tweet itself featured a quote and a link that prompted Twitter to suspend his account, potentially indefinitely.

Twitter has suspended @CortesSteve for citing a Stanford NIH study about masks. pic.twitter.com/2y460zkN0Z

— Raheem Kassam (@RaheemKassam) April 17, 2021

He was quoting directly from the NCBI publication of the study. The government website he linked  a peer-reviewed study by Stanford University’s Baruch Vainshelboim. In it, he cited 67 scholars, doctors, scientists, and other studies to support his conclusions.

(See the study here.)

The sentence Cortes quoted from the study’s conclusion reads: "The data suggest that both medical and non-medical facemasks are ineffective to block human-to-human transmission of viral and infectious disease such SARS-CoV-2 and COVID-19, supporting against the usage of facemasks.”

And do not forget the Great Barrington Declaration in which doctors and scientists condemned the protocols put in place to "fight Covid".

Maricopa County Audit Reveals Vote was Stolen - Probably

The audit of Maricoupa County ballots from the '20 election are now off - by a staggering 17.5%!

Meanwhile, our old friend George Soros rears his schlerotic shrunken head in that same county. It seems Paul Penzone, the Democrat who won election as county Sheriff, was funded by Soros to the tune of $2 MILLION dollars.

No wonder he is worried about this audit. And who is helping to run interference on it?

This last election was the Lufthansa heist of politics.

Garland, Junta, to go After Free Speech and Conservatives

Timothy Birdnow

The Biden junta is conducting a full-court press to shut the mouths of conservatives through accusations of "white supremacism".

First, Merrick Garland, the Obama nominee for Supreme Court and now Biden's Attorney General, has announced that "white supremacy" is the nation's most pressing threat.

Really? How many Klansmen are there these days? Three, maybe.

What evidence is there that there is a massive white supremacist movement in America? How many blacks have been murdered by white supremacists?  How many government buildings have been bombed, or NAACP headquarters? We had a year of riots by Black Livers Matter but it is "white supremacists" who are the problem?

The article states:

"Garland’s warning came during a Senate Appropriations Committee hearing on the Jan. 6 riot at the U.S. Capitol, which was conducted by supporters of then-President Donald Trump and incited by white supremacist groups like the Oath Keepers and Proud Boys. Five people died as a result of the attack."

Interesting. Oath Keepers is a Christian group and has no racial aspects whatsoever. The Proud Boys was co-founded by a black Cuban fellow and  is proudly multi-racial. But we can't let little things like facts get in the way of a good plan.

"In my career as a judge and in law enforcement, I have not seen a more dangerous threat to democracy than the invasion of the Capitol,” Garland said, calling the attack an "attempt to interfere with a fundamental element of our democracy, the peaceful transfer of power.” The attorney general went on to say that "there has to be a hierarchy of things that we prioritize. This would be the one we’d prioritize.”

Notice how he conflates a crowd that was angry at a stolen election with "right wing white supremacists" as if the two were identical. And of course he ignores all the violence that occured the preceeding year by Black Lives Matter and Antifa. And he forgets the violence in D.C. on Trump's inaugural.

In point of fact, there were just a few windows broken and some scuffling. Only one person died of violence - a protester who was shot dead by a Capitol Police cop who STILL remains unnamed and has not been charged (and won't be) even though the protester was climbing in a window and posed no threat.

If you want to see who the terrorists are Mr. Garland try looking in a mirror.

This article is so full of lies. It says Garland "the bombing of a federal building in Oklahoma City by white supremacists, an attack that killed 168 people, including 19 children." That is a damnable lie. Timothy McVeigh and his accomplices were anarchists and socialists, not "white supremacists".

So why lie like this? Sure; the media is constitutionally incapable of telling the truth. But there's a reason.

Here it is.

Yes, the aim of all this is to justify stifling dissent by using "terrorism" and "white supremacism" as a tool for shutting up the opposition.

From the Zero Hedge article:

CNN's recent report that the US' security services are considering contracting the services of so-called "researchers” as a legal workaround for spying on average Americans confirms that Biden's dystopian hellhole is rapidly moving in the direction of establishing a "Cyber Stasi” for suppressing all digital dissent against the Democrats as they continuing consolidating their de facto one-party rule of the country.

Thedystopian hellhole that I predicted would become a fait accompli following Biden's confirmation as President by the Electoral College is quickly becoming a reality afterCNN's recent reportthat theUS' security services are considering contracting the services of so-called "researchers” as a legal workaround for spying on average Americans. According to the outlet, these ostensibly independent contractors would be charged with infiltrating the social media circles of white supremacists and other supposedly terrorist-inclined domestic forces within the country. The report claims that the intent is to "help provide a broad picture of who was perpetuating the 'narratives' of concern”, after which "the FBI could theoretically use that pool of information to focus on specific individuals if there is enough evidence of a potential crime to legally do so”.

In other words, the US' security services essentially want to establish a "Cyber Stasi” of "fellow” citizens who spy on one another and produce purported "evidence” of "potential crimes” for "justifying” the FBI's "legal” investigations. CNN quoted an unnamed senior intelligence official who asked, "What do you do about ideology that's leading to violence? Do you have to wait until it leads to violence?”, thereby hinting that this initiative might likely be exploited to stop so-called "pre-crime”, or crimes before they occur. Put another way, even those average Americans who practice their constitutionally enshrined right to the freedom of speech to peacefully dissent against the Democrats' consolidation of theirde facto one-party ruleof the country might find themselves targeted by the security services depending on how the contracted "researchers” spin their words.

Merrick Garland is the Attorney General, meaning he is the top cop and law enforcer. He works at the pleasure of the President. And he has the power of the United States government to back his initiatives.

So we are being told that the full might of this government is going to be wielded against conservatives "in the public interest" to suppress "white supremacism" and "right wing terrorism", two things that are largely non-existent in modern America. No effort will be made to suppress left wing terrorism, or black supremacism. This is obviously aimed at anyone who resists this lawless and illigitimate regime.

Joe Stalin would be proud.
