UK was blockaded twice in the 20th century. Those who enjoy history will not be surprised that history has repeated itself this is the first blockade of the 21st-century. It is not surprising that the blockade was kicked off by those who have not yet got over Brits burning Joan of Arc, losing at Waterloo, Agincourt and WW2. However having started the ball rolling the French must be delighted that the great proportion of the rest of the world has now blockaded Britain too. How happy Macron and his mother must be. I’m sorry if I sound bitter But I have watched the French cheat their way through the Coal and Steel Alliance, the Common Market, the European Community and helped create the federal superstate European Union. They have broken nearly all the laws, rules and regulations along the way and at the first chance they get they exacerbate an already difficult problem for the Brits, the very nation who stood by them in WW2. Well the ones who were interested in being liberated from the Nazis. But as we now know not everyone in France wanted to be liberated from Germany. Being the only major combatant who does not have a formal National history of the conflict. it is very telling that they remain riven by their guilty conscience. In some small way they are trying to abate that unfortunate feeling by getting their own back on the Brits with this pointless and unnecessary blockade. Many will not forget what they have done this week and I hope my friends you do not forget either the next time French come knocking.

On 21 February 1916, German artillery fired 100,000 shells in the first hour of its attack on French defences at Verdun. During the 303-day battle, the two armies bombarded each other with an estimated 23 million shells. Many of the shells, both French and German, contained phosgene. On 11 July alone, the Germans fired 75,000 phosgene shells containing some 137 tons of the lethal chemical.
Sulfur mustard appeared on the western front the following year. One night in July, the Germans bombarded British frontlines east of the Belgian town of Ypres, with 50,000 shells containing around 125 tons of the blister agent.
In September 1917, the Germans began firing shells filled with the vomiting agent diphenylchlorar
Approximately 30% of those fired
between 1914 and 1918 did not detonate. Retreating German soldiers also
left dumps of unused chemical munitions. Most of the old gas shells
recovered from battlefields contain phosgene, mustard gas or
organoarsenic compounds, according to Manley. An estimated 10 million
or more lost or abandoned chemical munitions have yet to be retrieved
or destroyed. Only in France, a specialist munitions-clear
Munitions that have been buried for many years are usually heavily corroded on the outside, without legible markings, their origins as well as their contents unknown. It was also common practice to use the same type of munition body for both chemical and high explosive munitions. Chemical warfare agents have also been found in partially exploded shells and shell fragments.
Environmental pollution resulting from damaged or corroded munitions is a major hazard. Organoarsenic warfare agents and other toxic compounds have seeped out in many areas, contaminating the soil and surface water. Bullets in shrapnel shells and rifle and machine gun cartridges were mostly made of lead. Percussion caps employed mercury fulminate or lead azide to detonate the propellant in the cartridge. During the war, the British alone manufactured billions of rifle and machine gun cartridges containing these heavy metal pollutants.
Soon after the armistice, men, women and children began collecting scrap metal from spent or unexploded munitions that lay on the western front battlefields. Before selling the metal, they emptied explosives and other chemicals from the shells.
By the early 1920s, it became common practice for authorities to blow up unexploded weapons. The volume was so great, however, that many were loaded onto ships that were simply sunk into the sea.
Dumping munitions into the sea was seen to be safe and environmentally

Baltic Sea, some 15,000 t of which contained chemical agents. Previous
reports concluded that most of these munitions probably had sunk into
mud on the seafloor and were largely harmless.
Bełdowski and his
colleagues developed new methods to analyze for chemical agents in
seabed sediment, as well as in fish and mussel tissue. They used
underwater drones and towed sonar scanners around three dump sites (in
the Baltic Sea, the Northern Sea and the Atlantic Ocean) and collected
sediment samples and fish in the areas.
The most abundant
chemical agent they found was sulfur mustard, used in aircraft bombs
and artillery shells. They also detected arsenic-contain

You know, Britain was facing a "hard Brexit" since they were not able to reach an acceptable agreement with the European Union about how they were going to leave. The Unionists have been foot dragging, obfuscating, doing anything they could to stop Britain from regaining her independence.
That's what makes this interesting to me; just as Britain is about to leave the E.U. the United Kingdom is being isolated and shunned because of an alleged mutation in the Coronavirus.
I don't believe in coincidences where politics are concerned.
From the article:
DOVER, England (Reuters) – Several countries closed their borders to Britain on Monday over fears of a highly infectious new coronavirus strain, causing travel chaos and raising the prospect of food shortages just days before the UK is set to leave the European Union.
India, Pakistan, Poland, Spain, Switzerland, Sweden, Russia, Jordan and Hong Kong suspended travel for Britons after Prime Minister Boris Johnson warned a mutated variant of the virus, up to 70% more transmissible, had been identified in the country. Saudi Arabia, Kuwait and Oman closed their borders completely.
Several other nations blocked travel from Britain over the weekend, including France, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, Austria, Ireland, Belgium and Canada – although experts said the strain may already be circulating in countries with less advanced detection methods than the United Kingdom.
So basically the U.K. is being embargoed. Is this perhaps a way to try to force Britain to remain in the E.U.? And if it does leave when the deadline expires is this perhaps a way to ruin the British economy so as to act as an object lesson for others, and perhaps to force the British People to heel?I suspect as much.

This is the reply that Senator Roy Blunt sent me after asking him to object to the electoral votes in those ordered ground states were voting fraud was so rampant.
Dear Frederick:
Thank you for taking time to share your thoughts on the presidential election results.
On December 14, 2020, the Electoral College voted and Vice President Joseph Biden received 306 electoral votes, surpassing the 270 vote threshold. President Trump still continues to have the right to avail himself of every legal option available to his campaign; however, the Electoral College has fulfilled its constitutional role in determining the president and vice president-elect. As Chairman of the Joint Congressional Committee on Inaugural Ceremonies, I will work with President-elect Biden and his Presidential Inaugural Committee to plan for the swearing-in ceremony on January 20, 2021.
Again, thank you for contacting me. I look forward to continuing our conversation on Facebook (www.facebook.com/ÂSenatorBlunt) and Twitter (www.twitter.com/ÂRoyBlunt) about the important issues facing Missouri and the country. I also encourage you to visit my website (blunt.senate.gov) to learn more about where I stand on the issues and sign-up for my e-newsletter.
Sincere regards,
Roy Blunt
United States Senator
Tim adds:
I despise that man! The GOP should be doing what the Democrats did when Trump was elected, refusing to acknowlege him (and well they shouldn't as he stole this.) I don't want the GOP "working with" Biden and the other usurpers. Blunt is a huge POS.
Blunt seems not to care about the rule of law or the integrity of the vote. He wants to get back to "business as usual" which means his own enrichment.

Covid-19 Is Over-dramatised
Yes Covid-19 can have bad consequences, just like many other viruses which we don't lock down our economies for.
I'm sick of the media cherry-picking Covid-19 sufferers. They try to find someone who almost died of Covid-19 who is under 60 years of age, and looks relatively healthy. As against the typical aged, or obese person on a ventilator. Their message is clear. We all need to fear Covid-19 because it can have drastic consequences for anyone.
What the public don't understand is that relatively healthy people can
end up on ventilators from seasonal influenza. Google 'flu and
respiratory distress syndrome videos' and this video, and plenty more
like this will pop up: https://
This shows a relatively healthy looking, young male who spent two months in ICU including about 45 days unconscious on a ventilator just from seasonal infuenza.
We've also seen many articles and news stories on so-called 'long-covid' or about people suffering debilitation conditions long after they have recovered from Covid-19. Again, this condition, known as post viral syndrome can occur with anyone who suffers any viral infection.
Medical News Today writes, 'Almost any viral infection can trigger post-viral syndrome, including:
common cold
flu
pneumonia
Epstein-Barr virus
herpes
HIV
Post-viral syndrome may be more prevalent or apparent in people with weakened immune systems.' https://
The symptoms of post-viral syndrome may vary from person to person, but
most people describe feeling fatigued and generally unwell. This
feeling persists no matter how many hours of sleep the person gets or
how well they take care of themselves.
Post-viral syndrome may cause additional symptoms, such as:
confusion
trouble concentrating
headaches
aches and pains in the muscles
stiff joints
a sore throat
swollen lymph nodes
In some cases, it may be that the body is simply taking extra time to clear the virus out completely.
The government and media have made the public so risk averse with sensational Covid-19 stories, that they will readily accept major limitations on their freedoms. Worst of all, they'll be grateful for politicians for imposing those restrictions.
Of more than 1,500 active Covid-19 cases in Australia,
China must be re-thinking their military budget. There's no need to spend trillions of dollars on hardware and personnel to destroy Western civilisation.
I have attached a screenshot from the Australian Health Department website. It is a reminder of how un-deadly the Covid-19 virus is to most people. In Australia the average age of death with Covid-19 is well in excess of 80 years. Any frail elderly of medically vulnerable person should be assisted if they wish to self isolate, wear PPE or get vaccinated. Everyone else should just get on with life as they are doing in Wuhan China.

Snopes refutes the statements that Chinese army units have been allowed into Canada by Trudeau. That assures that the claim is valid. And it’s not just "observersâ€.
We know that China has spies and traitors throughout the governments of Canada and the U.S.
On Dec. 9, an F-16 fighter jet crashed in the rural Upper Peninsula of
Michigan during a night training mission and the pilot was recovered
but later died of his injuries. I’m surprised that his death wasn’t
attributed to COVID.
Canada Allowed Chinese Troops on Canadian Soil to Observe Military Exercises
What possible strategic or military value is there for the Canadians? Why do this? There is only one good reason; to suck up to China and to make a pointless gesture of defiance to the U.S. It's beyond stupid.

On Facebook an argument erupted with a pseudo-intellectual jackass and I thought it worth replicating here.
In response to a post about the collapse of Dark Matter as "settled science, Rick Hobbes says:
Pff. If science was "settled", Pluto would still be a planet.
Said jackass, Lowell Morrison, says:
"Pff. If science was "settled", Pluto would still be a planet."
The Settled Science idea is a Pseudo Science claim. We have Scientific Consensus which changes when we get better data. Science does not deal in absolutes. Science is a "Proximal Cause methodology limited by the data and interpreted using Occam's Razor". i.e. when we get more data, we look and our scientific consensus changes. And Pluto is still a planetary body whose "planet vs. not a planet" is one of definitional change that some of us are still fighting... Science does not deal in anything but data and change. It is self correcting.
Rick Hobbes answers:
You know something, Lowell? I'm really getting fed up with your condescending attitude. At first I thought it was funny, now it's gotten annoying. You make false assumptions and you tar with a broad brush. We're actually a hell of a lot smarter than you make us out to be, and you ain't exactly all that and a bag of chips. So you can come off your damned high horse any time now. We deal in the real world here.
Andries O'Neil replies:
Rick Hobbsi concur. he must have missed his own claiming that 'global warming' was settled by the 97% scientists (the 97 that actually filled in the census form.) not, i repeat, NOT 97% of scientists. only 97% of the chosen handful...
Tim replies:
"I concur. he must have missed his own claiming that 'global warming' was settled by the 97% scientists (the 97 that actually filled in the census form.) not, i repeat, NOT 97% of scientists. only 97% of the chosen handful..."
Amen, Andries O'Neill! He apparently doesn't understand that these were based on two studies, one by an historian (Naomi Oreskes) and one by a Communications Professor (John "Skeptical Science" Cook). Anybody who wants to look can find all sorts of scientists who have disputed the AGW nonsense. There have been a couple of other "studies" that have merely been repetitions of these two - and use the same tactics to achieve the same results. Among the methodology errors are seeking out key words "like 'global warming is refuted' and not finding them" and basing the studies on mailed out questionnaires which only the activists would bother completing. Of course, these people ignore actual petitions like the Oregon Petition, which features tens of thousands of signatures. And they ignore the list of scientists who have gone on record against the theory (it used to be available on Wikipedia, which recently "disappeared" the page.) Electroverse kept it up. https://electroverse.net/the-list-scientists-who-publicly-disagree-with-the-current-consensus-on-climate-change/ And here is a solid scientific rebuttal of the "consensus" claim. https://Âlink.springer.com/Âarticle/10.1007/Âs11191-013-9647-9
Of course consensus is fine for a guy like Lowell Morrison when it suits him and not so good when it doesn't.
Oh, and he says "science is self correcting". No it is not, not anymore. It's funded almost entirely by the government and it gives out the results the boss wants. Science USED to be self-correcting when it was free and had to scrounge for money. Now it is a tool and largely has been since the government took over most funding in the late '70's. It's why we have scientists saying there are multiple "genders", for instance. Or why we were told gay couples make better parents. Or why Americans have gotten so fat when "science" has told us what and how to eat. Yeah; real self-correcting.

So the European Space Agency's Gaia spacecraft spent the last six years stargazing from a million miles high and sent back to Earth this message: "Cut the BS; your 'dark matter' hokum is embarrassing--almost as bad as your 'CO2 is going to kill us all!' schtick."
Yes, you read that right.
According to the Astrophysical Journal and more than a few Nobelists who should have opened their mouths a hell of a lot sooner, the stupendously stupid "dark matter" fairy tale is flailing about now like a half-dead fish out of water. Wonder when Al Gore, Jill Stein, the lamebrain bartender, Leo Di Caprio and all the rest are going to have their fairy tale rubbed in their faces? https://www.eurekalert.org/pub_releases/2020-12/cwru-upo121620.php?fbclid=IwAR2o0l8ThwTWt0YyiVWo1XQGD9oSbGg1xDeYbJJXzqSWcf3gFTpIUir3-pg

A long thoughtful read. They make a good point. If using 100% renewable then we need battery backup for 5 days for when the wind hardly blows or the sun is blocked by clouds and rain. Biggest battery in the world at Hornsdale AU stores only enough energy for a small city for 1 hour. CA isn’t even near 100% and now has very expensive electricity and regular rolling blackouts. If wind and solar is so cheap why does it need to be subsidized? The earth has been gently warming since 1850 long before additional CO2.
Tim adds:
We are nowhere near "renewable" technology. If wind and solar are ever to be an effective energy source they will have to work in a fundamentally different way, in my opinion. I think windmills and solar cells and battery storage will never pan out as a major way to power a modern economy. I think that is the whole point. Those pushing them know this, and WANT a return to a romanticized pastoral paradise with a major population reduction, and this is the Trojan Horse to get people to accept their own culling.

A thousand years ago the world was covered with factories, freeways and cars. Thankfully the people decided to toss it all and went back to riding horses, defecating in buckets and bleeding themselves with leeches. You’ve been taught otherwise and think that’s crazy? Well, hell, just look at the proof above. Their "global warming†was just precisely as bad as ours is today. You’re welcome.

Here is an article quoting an anonymous "insider" source claiming there was a huge shouting match behind closed doors when the Supreme Court decided not to hear the Texas case against vote fraud.
From the article:
Charisma Media founder and CEO Stephen Strang spoke with Pastor Rodney Howard-Browne of Tampa, Florida, on today's episode of the Strang Report podcast.Howard-Browne confirmed that his information came from a reliable Washington insider who heard directly from a Supreme Court clerk. The clerk said, "The justices are normally calm. They meet behind closed doors, and you never hear anything, but it was a screaming match. You could hear it all down the hallway.
"He said they met in person; they didn't trust the telephonic meeting," Howard-Browne says. "Chief Justice Roberts was screaming, 'Are you going to be responsible for the rioting if we hear this case?'" And then Roberts went on to say [to Justice Neil Gorsuch], "Don't tell me about Bush versus Gore. We weren't dealing with riots then, and you're forgetting what your role is."
"And I don't want to hear anything from the two junior justices," Roberts added, the clerk told Howard-Browne's source. The clerk said Roberts went on to say, "I will tell you how to vote," and that "Justice Clarence Thomas said, 'This will end be the end of democracy, John.'"
"When they left the room, Roberts and the liberals and Kavanaugh had big smiles; Alito and Thomas [were] visibly upset; ACB and Gorsuch didn't seem fazed at all," Howard-Browne says the clerk told his source.
"So obviously, it's clear that Chief Justice Roberts is intimidated by antifa, the left-wing rioting," Howard-Browne said. "And of course, that's the problem that we're dealing with. Apart from the corruption that's in our courts, and the judges that are legislating from the benches, and all the corruption that we're dealing with here with the voting fraud and the scandals of what's taking place. This would be ultimately the scenario that I could just see unfolding in the Supreme Court."

Another new study finds Iceland was ~2°C warmer and the Arctic region had much less sea ice as recently as ~1400 to 1000 years ago (Miles et al., 2020).
What’s most interesting is that in the last 1400 years the Arctic
experienced marked climate changes (~1.5°C in decades)that may have
occurred "spontaneously,
If climate changes of these magnitudes can and do occur without an external forcing mechanism, there is little reason to assume that the much more modest changes in SSTs in the last century fall outside the range of internal variability either.

Future historians will note this election as the fall of the American Republic. Like Rome continued to exist technically after Odoacer was proclaimed emperor in 476, it may not have been perceived as the end but it was and the same is true for America. The Constitution, the rule of law, the integrity of the Courts and the Congress no longer matter. We are now an empire, one run by power and wealth.
