A top congressional ethics official who oversees investigations into misconduct by lawmakers is accused in a federal lawsuit of verbally abusing and physically assaulting women and using his federal position to influence local law enforcement, according to a complaint filed in a federal court in Pennsylvania last month. The ongoing lawsuit against Omar Ashmawy, staff director and chief counsel of the Office of Congressional Ethics, stems from his involvement in a late-night brawl in 2015 in Milford, Pennsylvania, and includes a range of allegations relating to his behavior that evening and in the following two-and-half years. Ashmawy’s office conducts the preliminary investigations into allegations of misconduct in the House of Representatives, deciding which cases to pursue or refer to the Committee on Ethics. He is named in congressional documents as the official who presented one of the investigations into John Conyers, the Democratic lawmaker from Michigan accused of sexual harassment, to the ethics committee for further action. Here's how to win battles and lose the war:

Who started the war, Jonah?  McConnell spent 14 million dollars to steal that seat for a loser named Luther Strange, and still couldn't pull the guy over the finish line. Why was Mitch so eager to put Strange in the post?  And why waste so many resources to do it? Moore would have lost had McConnell backed Mo Brooks, but then a conservative would have been in office rather than a greasy yes man and RINO.

What has McConnell done to promote the Trump agenda, Jonah?  What did the GOP do to promote the agenda of Middle America at all? Trump won because he actually wanted to roll back the Red Tide that has been sweeping the coasts and the GOP along with it. In case you missed it Jonah, the Republicans hated Trump when he ran and still do. Doubt that?  Why couldn't they kill Obamacare?  It was so as not to give Trump a win.

Wolves in sheeps clothing. Maybe your mother never told you that story, but you should remember it. Mitch McConnell and many other Republicans are there for themselves and for the joy of being the Big Man on Campus.  They have long ago sold their souls and America be damned.

In case you missed it, Jonah, McConnell is there at OUR pleasure and has no Divine appointment. He is not doing his job.

Oh, and had YOU or any of your inside the beltway buddies tried to support Moore you wouldn't have lost the seat. In fact, had YOU and the rest of the RINO's who disgrace the once great National Review ever tried to promote conservati\sm Moore (or Mo Brooks) would be going into the Senate now. You'd rather have invitations to appear on mainstream media programs, though.

Moore lost SOLELY because of the scandal, and that was purely political and would have happened to anybody else who ran. If you don't know that you have no busineess shooting your mouth off, Jonah.

"Don’t vote for men!” is the message of a recent campaign ad. Issued by Dana Nessel, Democratic attorney general contender in Michigan, what she literally says is, "Who can you trust most not to show you their [sic] penis in a professional setting?”

She answers that it’s the candidate who doesn’t have one.

Now, a person could easily go tit for tat (not that I’dever consider such a thing!). Noting how some voters, addressing politicians’ pusillanimity, lament how we need leaders with "a pair,” one could ask "Who can you trust most to have a pair?” and answer "The candidate who by definition has one.”

But the anti-male bias animating Nessel has long been brewing. In 2004, Sweden’s Left Party (yeah, that’s its actual name) proposeda "Man Tax,” a special levy on men designed to compensate society for the cost of male violence. I always answer that I’ll be happy to pay my man tax — as long as I also get royalties for all of history’s man-birthed inventions and innovations. I’ll then use what’s left over to self-fund a presidential run.

So now the Democrats and media and Republican Establishment have taken out Roy Moore and thrown the Senate to a knife edge. Good for them. I hope the Republicans who immediately tossed Moore to the wolves pat themselves on the back for a job well done, and I hope they are the first to fall when the wolves they tossed Moore to come to feast on them.

Here is an interesting article on the history of the early Muslims with the Jews. Relative to the Mosque site and its influence today.

The U.S. Justice system is in trouble, not just the federal system, but the state and local systems as well. A disturbing trend of politically motivated prosecutions has emerged across the country. Congress has the role of oversight, but many Members, themselves former District Attorneys or U.S. Attorneys, seem hesitant to be critical of the Justice Department.It could be for fear of tarnishing theirown legacy while they were a prosecutor, or they don’t want to believe a club they belonged to has gone rotten. Either way, Congress must wake up take a hard look at the U.S. justice system from the point of view of someone being falsely accused by a legal behemoth with unlimited resources.

In one of the most egregious examples of the politicization of justice, the Milwaukee County District Attorney John Chisholm launched a succession of John Doe investigations against his Republican enemies. John Doe investigations are special investigations intoalleged criminal activity thatare conducted in secret. In theinvestigations, a strict gag orderis imposed, and the targets are not allowed to speak about theinvestigation. It is important to note thata crime doesn’t have to be committedfor the investigation to take place, the statute is used to ascertain whether a crime has been committed and, if so, by whom.

Here's something I hadn't heard; activist judges have overtunrned the Trump policyreturning to the traditional rule that does not allow transvestites to serve in the military. And not only have they ordered Trump to restore the Obama policy, they have also ruled that the military must pay for sex change surgery for serving transvestites.

Got this from the Patriot Post:

"Then the judges stepped in, ordering the commander in chief to allow transgenders anyway, and to do so by Jan. 1. On Monday, U.S. District Judge Colleen Kollar-Kotelly, a Bill Clinton appointee, denied the Trump administration’s request to delay that order. Kollar-Kotelly had initially ruled that Trump’s order violates the Constitution’s equal protection guarantees. Moreover, back in November, U.S. District Judge Marvin J. Garbis, a George H.W. Bush nominee, ruled that the administration can’t stop taxpayer funding for sex-reassignment surgery for these military members."

The DOD plans to obey the court ruling.

What is the purpose of holding elections if the courts will simply overturn the results of them? Donald Trump was elected in no small part because of this radical revolutionary policy on the part of the Obama administration, and yet the courts simply overturned the attempt to return to a policy that had never been declared unconstitutional by any court prior to obama's policy change. This is legislating from the bench, to put it mildly. A better word is tyrannizing from the bench.

There is no right to serve in the military. My uncle was denied because he was 4f due to blindness in one eye. He wanted to join, but never dreamed of suing for admission. And that was an actual disability, as opposed to the issue of transgenderism, which is either a mental illness taht requires treatment OR is a choice which can be denied during the tenure of service (if the trans person really wants to serve that badly).

So, either way the Trump policy makes far more sense than what is being pushed by these activist judges or by the former Commander-in-Chief.

And that is what Trump is; Commander-in-Chief. He is not answerable to these courts, who have intervened where they have no authority.

I have a question; what would the courts have to say if a soldier was kicked out for being a Ku Klux Klansman and demanding the right to wear a bedsheet when he was off duty? Somehow i doubt they would support the Klansman's right to service. There is really no qualitative difference here. The argument will be that the Klansman is making a choice, one offensive to other soldiers. But that is precisely what the transvestites are doing, making a choice that is offensive in it's own way for it interferes with unit cohesion. And if it's not a choice it is a mental disorder. I don't know how many schizophrenics are serving in the army, but I imagine not many.

You can't have it both ways, yet the Left is always trying. And they largely succeed because the mainstream media refuse to report it.

Donald Trump shold order the military to refuse to obey this illegal order.
