Mueller's FBI repeatedly abused prosecutorial discretion.
A NOTE FROM TIM:
Mueller knowingly let a couple of men rot in jail when he was involved in the White Bolger incident (where the FBI supported an Irish crime boss over the Mafia) when Bolger told him they were innocent. He also persecuted an innocent scientist for years when he botched the Anthrax investigation after 911, and he knew there was considerable doubt about the guilt of the man. Mueller is a willful, stubborn man who doesn't like to be wrong and doesn't care about the results of his actions on people.
Lawmakers have refered James Comey, Andrew McCabe, Hillary Clinton, and Loretta Lynch to the DOJ for criminal investigation. According to Fox News:
Rep. Ron DeSantis, R-Fla., and 10 other House lawmakers want an investigation into potential violations that cover everything from the handling of the Clinton email probe to the anti-Trump dossier’s funding to the Uranium One controversy. They made their case in a letter sent Wednesday to Sessions, FBI Director Christopher Wray, and U.S. Attorney John Huber, whom Sessions named to lead the previously announced evaluation.
Complaining about "dissimilar degrees of zealousness” in the investigations into Clinton and Trump campaign associates, they wrote: more...

This is why I have always liked Kim Strassel.
And I LOVE the following:
@GStephanopoulos isn’t going to ask anything serious. He’s a @HilaryClinton_ bobble head doll. As for @Comey good job at destroying the integrity and credibility of @FBI and @TheJusticeDept https://twitter.com/KimStrassel/status/985945294402498560 …

White people are finding it "difficult to adjust” to becoming a minority, goes the premise of a new AP history textbook — with the implication that this reflects some kind of character defect. Responding to this, conservative writers have generally denied the claim, sometimes calling it a "Marxist lie.” But a different point should be made.
Imagine that a history book presented European colonization of North America by asserting, with the same character-defect implication, that Indians found it "difficult to adjust” to becoming a minority. Would people be left scratching their heads? Might this even be called offensive? I think the only response really necessary would be "duh.”more...
Now for a purely speculative tinfoil hat exercise.
"Not a good idea to piss off John Brennan"
March 17, 2018
Much ink has been spilled about the Deep State, and here Obama's former U.N. Ambassador, the woman who largely created his dreadful pro-Islamic foreign policy and promoted taking Muammar Khadaffi out in Libya and then tried to hide the failure when our Ambassador was murdered there by falsely blaming a video - is acknowleging the existence of said DS. Why is it a bad idea to piss off John Brennan, a man who is now a private citizen? Because once you are in you are in, and Brennan may not hold an official position but he certainly has lots of people who will still do what he says. In short, he's a dangerous man.
Brennan was a communist, or at least voted for the CPUSA when he was younger, so he has no love for any "reactionary" influences (like Donald Trump.) One of the great articles of faith among communists is that history always moves "forward" and cannot be allowed to roll back. Rolling back Obama's "accomplishments" is tantamout to sacrelige.
If you couldn’t tell by the collective gasp from Washington D.C., late last week President Donald Trump pardoned an innocent man, Scooter Libby. The mainstream media went crazy believing the pardon was a signal to the current Special Counsel Robert Mueller, letting him know he will pardon anyone he prosecutes. What is more important is Trump’s pardon rights a wrong. Scooter Libby was caught up in the net of an overzealous Special Counsel that showed no interest in getting to the truth, sound familiar.more...
Good article: The Perversion of America
A quick pastiche:
America has become perverted, in the original 14th-century sense of the word, having turned away from the doctrines on which the nation was founded. We have worshipped other gods — "diversity” and "inclusion” chief among them — and the Supreme Court itself has "endorsed… an alternative lifestyle.” As Justice Scalia warned 15 years ago, there are "far-reaching implications” of our nation’s turning away from its founding principles and it remains to be seen how long America will survive the resulting "massive disruption” of its social order.

In a case of life imitates art, a gay civil rights lawyer decided to imitate the iconic Burning Man and immolated himself to protest indifference to Global Warming.

Governor Moonbat in California wants a major gasoline tax hike, and California Republicans think they maybe able to use that to make gains in the next election, according to a report in Daily Caller.
"eps. Kevin McCarthy and Mimi Walters of California are using a very unpopular gas tax increase to generate excitement among GOP votes. Both Republicans want to put a measure on the ballot that repeals the increase. They believe the campaign could increase voter turnout and staunch a blue wave more...
Nobody likes hypocrisy and double standards. However, both have been multiplying with regard to environmental regulations. if the trend isn’t reversed, we can easily envision the day when environmentalists, legislators, regulators and judges will block oil, gas and coal today … nuclear and hydroelectric tomorrow … and wind and solar facilities the following week. Our civilization and living standards will get rolled backward a century or more. It’s time to say, Enough! more...

In honor of the anniversary of Abraham Lincoln's assassination.
Here's a fun little tale; the story of how some down on their luck counterfeiters tried to steal Abraham Lincoln's body and hold it for ransom - and how too much booze thwarted their plans.
From the article:
"The incredulous plot was hatched by Midwestern counterfeiters who had been shut down when their expert bill engraver was jailed. Benjamin Boyd’s bills were the best in the Midwest, possibly the country. In 1875, he was captured in Fulton, found guilty, and sent to the Joliet penitentiary for 10 years. Without his plates, the criminals who made and passed the counterfeit bills were out of business. They had to spring their money man. more...
