Why are they Angry about Greenland?
Timothy Birdnow
Why is the Left so angry about Trump's proposal to annex Greenland.
The Left is so angry at this proposal because it goes after one of their sacred cows. They teach that three is an historical inevitability in the march towards socialism/commnism and that the decline of America and other capitalist nations is unavoidable and in fact a good thig. They want us to continue to manage our own decline and do so gladly, as the Europeans have done. National suicide. But vigorous societies grow, they don't shirnk, and Trump is talking about growing ours. This is a reversal of the script, of how it is supposed to go. This infuriates the Left. They see it as a return to the "bad old days" of colonialism, or if they are honest to just national pride. Can't have that! So they will fight this to their dying breath. Their halitosis-laden dying breath. No argument will sway them, not even if the Greenlanders themselves vote to join the U.S.
Leftism is a cult of death. They want nations to die to empower international institutions and the New World Order. And they want to break the power of the U.S. so that this new order may arise and nations eventually disappear, subsumed into the international socialist order. That really is how they think. And of course they won't let Trump win any battle, no matter how sensible his proposal.
Trump is to them the Emmanuel Goldstein of 1984 and everyone must scream at the top of their lungs in the two minute hate.

An Act of War by Mexico; Mexicans Organizing Anti-ICE Riots
Timothy Birdnow
This is an act of war, is it not?
Promoting violence in another country is essentially attacking your neighbor. Trump needs to respond forcefully here.
The great Peter Schwiezer thought the quotes he was coming across from high level Mexican officials was simple hyperbole until he did some research and found Mexico has no fewer than 53 consuilates in the U.S., far more than any other country.
FTA:
Peter Schweizer said recent statements by senior Mexican officials and actions taken through Mexico’s extensive consular network raise concerns about political influence operations and territorial rhetoric directed at the United States.
Schweizer said he began noticing repeated comments from high-ranking Mexican figures that went beyond standard diplomatic language and instead suggested claims over U.S. territory.
"I started running across these quotes by senior Mexican officials, and I thought, this is just crazy. I mean, do they really mean this? And I kept finding them,” Schweizer said.
He cited remarks made by what he described as one of the most powerful senators in Mexico, a member of the ruling party who serves on the National Defense Committee.
"I’ll give you an example of one that I found very early on. This is from one of the most powerful senators in Mexico. He’s a member of the Marina party, the ruling party. He sits on the National Defense Committee, which is the most powerful committee in the Mexican Senate,” Schweizer said.
Schweizer then quoted the senator directly.
"And he said just a couple years ago, quote, Mexicans are in our territories, California, Nevada, Texas, Utah, New Mexico, Arizona, Kansas, Oklahoma, Colorado, and Wyoming. We’re going to take back the territory that was stolen from us,” Schweizer said.
Schweizer said similar language appeared in an official Mexican government report released in December 2024.
"And another one. This is from a government report in December of 2024 by one of Sheinbaum’s top aides,” he said. "Wright writes in this government report, quote you. We already know that the Mexican population in the United States reaches 39 point 9 million. We Mexicans are reclaiming our territory.”
Initially, Schweizer said he dismissed the comments as political posturing.
"So I looked at this, and I thought, Okay, well, this is just a bunch of bravado from, you know, blow hard Mexican politicians,” he said.
However, Schweizer said his view changed after examining Mexico’s diplomatic footprint inside the United States and how it is being used.
"And then I started looking at what is the apparatus that Mexico has in the United States,” Schweizer said.
He compared Mexico’s consular presence to that of other major nations.
"And I found that, you know, the United Kingdom and China have six and seven consulates respectively. Mexico has 53,” Schweizer said.
According to Schweizer, those consulates are not limited to traditional services.
"And I started looking at what Mexico is doing with those consults, and I found out that they’re they’re organizing protests. They’re still organizing some of these anti-ICE protests,” he said.
Schweizer specifically pointed to activity in Minnesota.
"They’ve got a consulate up in the Twin Cities right now. That’s neck deep in what’s going on in Minneapolis,” he said.

end
Trump should expel most of these diplomats and close their consulates right now. He doesn't need smoking gun proof to do that. And if there IS smoking gun proof? Tariff them to death, certainly. Maybe even blockade their shipping.
But we have to respond to this. ANYONE financing or recruiting or otherwise aiding and abetting violence inside the U.S. must be punished, and if it is a foreign nation that is, in fact, an act of war and should be treated as such. Trump shoulf get his ducks in a row and then speak to the American People, telling them what Mexico is doing.
It continues:
He further alleged that Mexican officials were directly engaging in U.S. political strategy discussions during the 2024 election cycle.
"But I also found that they were meddling in our politics,” Schweizer said. "They were literally meeting with Democratic Party activists in 2024 saying, How are we going to stop Trump? We got to stop Trump.”
Schweizer said those discussions referenced past electoral shifts in key states.
"We turned California from red to blue. We turned Arizona from red to blue. We’ve got to stop Trump,” he said.
Strange how jacked up (pardon the Jack Smith pun) the Democrats were about "Russian collusion" when all the while they;ve been colluding with Mexico. Strange how that isn't so important. I would call that treason.
Schweizer has a reputation for having his facts correct so I am certain this has been happening.
Look, someone is organizing and funding these "spontaneous" riots. No doubt George Soros' palsied hand is involved, and he needs to be brought to justice. But if Mexico, or Russia, or China are involved we need to treat it as it is - an attack on U.S. soil.
President Trump is going to have to deal with this now, not later. If he allows foreign meddling inside of the U.S. it will only get worse. This is Mexico's way of trying to hurt us for kicking out illegals and cutting off the flow of remissions. Well, we can hurt them a lot more than they can us.

Trump Still Supporting DEI
Timothy Birdnow
This has been ongoing for generations now. We've had set asides for minorities in government hiring now since the Second World War and for decades the government denied "race norming" despite the fact that the civil service exam was required for most positions and a disproportionate number of black folks wound up getting the jobs. When smoking gun proof was finally found they admitted to doing it - and said they wouldn't quit. The public let it slide and thus emboldened the Left to do ever more egregious discriminating against the majority.
Now even Donald Trump won't try too hard to stop it.
Until we cut off the head of the serpent the body will just regenerate. We have to destroy these programs in their entirety. I'm not sure why the people who surround him want to save this stuff but apparently they do.

Nevada Judge Releases MS-13 Murderer
Timothy Birdnow
Another day, another MS-13 thug released from ICE detention by a Democrat judge.
Nevada Federal Judge Orders Release of Convicted MS-13 Murderer; DOJ Vows to Seek Further Review
FTA:
In yet another controversial ruling (see below) that has sparked outrage among law enforcement and the U.S. Department of Justice, U.S. District Judge Richard F. Boulware II ordered the immediate release of Harvey Laureano-Rosales, a convicted murderer and former MS-13 gang member, from immigration detention.
The decision, issued on January 21, 2026, in the case L.R. v. Kristi Noem et al. (Case No. 2:25-cv-02019-RFB-BNW), grants Laureano-Rosales’ habeas corpus petition, citing violations of due process and statutory detention limits under the Immigration and Nationality Act (INA). The U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) swiftly responded, announcing it will seek further review of the order.
They should settle this guy directly next door to the judge. And maybe some of his friends to boot. Oh, and the cops ought to be slow to respond to any complaints made by judge dufus here.
This judge is bad news. The article continues:
This is not the first time Judge Boulware II has come under fire for rulings perceived as lenient toward criminal aliens. As I detailed in a previous California Globe investigation, "Las Vegas Federal Judge Releases Illegal Aliens Despite Criminal History", Boulware has released at least three criminal alien defendants in recent months with minimal bonds—ranging from $1,500 to $2,000—often before DHS and ICE could appeal or deport them. That report highlighted Boulware’s pattern of overruling immigration judges, obstructing federal immigration law, and bypassing procedures, labeling him a judicial activist who exceeds his authority. Appointed by former President Barack Obama, Boulware’s decisions continue to raise concerns about public safety and judicial overreach in immigration cases.
We must devise a mechanism for removing such creeps from the bench. Obviously the political process put in place by the Fouding Fathers fails miserably; they never understood there would only be two parties and that one would be so reckless and irresponsible and lust for power so greedily that they would block any attempts at reform.
We have to get these kinds of people well away from any lever of power. This is about the safety and protection of the American People.
Judges are supposed to protect Americans, not coddle criminals.
The Federal Government should buy the homes around this judge's house and fill them with the lowest scumbags in America. Let him live with the consequences of his actions.

Subject to the Jurisdiction Thereof
Timothy Birdnow
"subject to the jurisdiction":
I'm not surprised; Trump and his people have been saying this for some time. Now they have a lengthy paper trail of quotes made at the time the amendment was passed and into the 20th century showing birthright citizenship was never the intent.
Trump has a fair shot of winning this thing. Unfortunately precedent at SCOTUS has long favored the current view and people like Conehead Barrett could well screw us in this.
We shall see.
And
here is a State Department official admitting that mass immigration was indeed an attempt to change America's demographics and thus control her political destiny. The "Great Replacement" is indeed the reality, not a conspiracy theory.

Business Owner to Tapper; Trump Putting People in Ovens
Timothy Birdnow
Not sure what kind of "businessman" this guy is but he was chosen to say exactly what he said; there is no way Jake "the Fake" Tapper was caught by surprise here. They vet people before putting them on.
Take a look at the guy too; he looks like a hipster loser who would believe this.
Now, I suspect 99 out of a hundred business owners are in favor of tightening up on the immigrants, especially the Somalis who are heavily involved in criminal activity. But they find this one imbecile who claims Trump is building concentration camps and is going to start baking his enemies. And of course this dimwit does not know that Nazis are left wing and that the protesters have much more in common with Nazis than does Donald Trump, who is clearly a Constitutionalist and thinks just like Bill Clinton did when Clinton was in office.
And the dumb shall speak:
"We can’t do business as usual right now, anyway, because our city has been invaded by masked gunmen kidnapping family members and friends and neighbors of ours to send them to concentration camps,” Schwesnedl told Tapper when asked about the importance of closing their business. "Additionally, there’s a lot of businesses in our area that have staff or customers or owners who are afraid to come to work, afraid to come in and shop. People are closing down today, and we felt like it wouldn’t be kind or fair for us to stay open, so we’re closing in solidarity to help send a message.”
Schwesnedldumb (or is it Schwesnedldee?) says he can't do business. What business is he in? I doubt he has many Somalis coming into his business Moon Palace Books (isn't that fitting for a moonbat?) Most of 'em probably can't even read after all. And if they CAN read they are probably going to seek out things written in their native tongue. Maybe he did lose a few employees, but was that out of fear of ICE or because they are out in the streets rioting?
This whole thing is a lie.

James Cameron Moving to New Zealand (He's Their Problem Now)
Timothy Birdnow
Don't let the door hit you where God split you on the way out Mr. Cameron.
Oh, I think you mean New Zealand is LESS sane than the U.S., not more.
Yes, director James Cameron is fleeing the U.S. for the increasingly repressive New Zealand because, like, they know how to deal with Covid and stuff.
From the Blaze:
From there, the filmmaker began boasting about New Zealand's lockdowns for COVID-19, praising the country's enforcement.
"New Zealand was — they had eliminated the virus completely. They actually eliminated the virus twice," Cameron claimed. "The third time when it showed up in a mutated form, it broke through. But fortunately they already had a 98% vaccination rate."
At the time, New Zealand was under the rule of socialist Jacinda Ardern, who ran the government with her Labour Party from 2017 to 2023. The country used a four-level alert system for COVID and spent a whole month under forced confinement except for "essential movement."
Legislation included allowing police to use any "reasonable means including force" to ensure compliance, with punishments up to six months in prison
Boy, that sure sounds lovely, doesn't it! Cameron thinks that is the kind of country he wants to be a part of. I guess he wishes he had been born earlier so he could have been part of the Third Reich or Stalin's Soviet Union. Good times!
Frankly a dude who makes movies about big blue chicks who copulate with their pony tails has to have several screws loose.
After bloviating about how anti-science the U.S. is (and of course I doubt he knows jack about the actual science involved, doubt he understands that it was nothing but official GOVERNMENT scientists who pushed the vax and the lockdowns and all the rest and that science has since proven the vaccine did little to nothing to protect the populace and in fact made many healthy people sicker) he went on to say he's not moving to New Zealand for the beauty of it but for "the sanity". So it's sane to lock a whole nation up under penalty of imprisonment and allow the police to beat someone up and maybe shoot them over a friggin COLD virus! Whose head is it that's not screwed on properly?
OF COURSE Cameron is a Vegan and from Canada.
The article concludes with Cameron speaking about his veganism:
Seemingly not wanting his podcast to spiral out of control, Bensinger added, "but New Zealand is just stunningly beautiful."
"I'm not there for the scenery. I'm there for the sanity," Cameron reaffirmed.
The interview then shifted to Cameron's farm and his veganism, with the 71-year-old explaining that he grows organic, farm-to-table vegetables for local businesses.
"I don't personally have a problem with GMO per se," Cameron said about his growing techniques. "Other than when you start to couple it with these chemical pesticides and herbicides into an integrated system, it's actually opening the door to a lot of chemistry that shouldn't be in our ... bodies," he said unironically.
Defending his veganism, Cameron concluded that if everyone was "100% plant-based," not only would humanity live with a much smaller "carbon footprint," but the environment and wildlife would be in much better shape."
Meat is what made us human. Our ancestors were vegans, swinging from trees and flinging poop at each-other. It was when we started eating meat that we began to evolve; we lost all the big digestive organs in favor of small ones that could process far less plant matter, and we started having to cook most of our food, externalizing the digestive process. We ate meat which gave us far more protein and fat and other things we couldn't possibly get from plant matter with our limited digestive systems. In return we grew our brains and our brains made us better hunters and we eventually developed agriculture and animal husbandry. We began walking on two legs so we could better see when hunting (just as bears do). This freed our hands to better use tools. We lost the big canine teeth and developed flattened molars which aided us in speech. With more calories from eating meat we lost a lot of our body hair as it was no longer needed to keep us warm. Less hair meant less waste of protein and metabolic energy. All of these thibgs happened because a desperate ancestor, starving tto death, decided he would rather eat an aardvark or whatnot rather than starve.
I guess Cameron never watched 2001: a Space Odyssey.
Reverting to veganism is going to revert us to our simian ancestry and we will devolve. That's why so many vegans and vegetarians are such moonbats; they don't have what they need to actually think properly. They are neotonous, throwbacks to an earlier age.
Cameron clearly is. He thinks an authoritarian state is preferable to using your own judgment and thinking for yourself.
And if he's worried about his "carbon footprint" might I suggest he not walk through ashes or coal deposits. Other than that our use of carbon is entirely natural and actually is a boon for all life on this planet as it gives plants what they need.
BTW I've never liked any of Cameron's films; they are all childish and usually knock-offs from other stuff. Aliens was a lousy sequel to Alien. The Terminator was interesting for special effects but the story line was a rehash of many science fictions stories before it, and largely made no sense as the terminators could have murdered any of John Connor's ancestors and accomplished the same thing as killing his mother. I thought Titanic was lame; the actual story of the ship was more than enough, but he had to muck it up with a tired cliche'd tale of class warfare and the "working class hero" nonsense that infected the Progressive era for a century. Oh, and the love story was just boring and stilted. And of course nobody was going to waste time holding the kid there in his cabin until the ship almost sunk; priorities change when it's life or death. The movie stunk.
I just watched Rambo, First Blood Part II and that too stunk of dead fish.
I've never seen Avatar but have zero interest in it.
Cameron is a first rate special effects guy but at most a mediocre director and filmmaker who has always been the beneficiary of political correctness. Without that he would just be another struggling independent filmmaker.
At any rate I'm glad the Hoser is leaving the U.S. We don't need dufi like him.

Climate Change is a Gyp
Timothy Birdnow
It was 1* when I got up this morning and it has reached a balmy 3* as of ten a.m. Now the snow is falling and we, like the rest of America, are predicted to be buried alive in the thing Climate Alarmists told us was a "thing of the past".
Looks pretty present to me.
Of course the Gang Green is already out there spinning like a gyroscope, trying to say this is being caused by planetary warming. That warming is better than a medicine show elixir; it can do just about anything! Or as I call it, it's the Goldilocks theory; if it's too hot, too cold, or just right it's all Global Warming! Frankly, today I wish we HAD a little global warming; I'm freezing my family jewels off right about now.
Clmate Change sure was a gyp.
BTW this storm is named Fern and my grandmother was named Fern. I find it interesting as I just had to write my father's obituary and had to mention my grandmother and now we're being dumped on by a winter storm of the same name. Maybe she didn't like what I wrote?

War of Extermination
Timothy Birdnow
Can't this hospital lose it's accreditation? It should.
The staff thought they were ICE agents and refused the injured men treatment.
The hospital made a hasty apology only after learning they were NYPD, but it was half-hearted at best and it's doubtful they would have apologized had these men actually been ICE.
Hospitals and the doctors and nurses who staff them, are supposed to treat any and all patients, no judgement. Hospitals treat prisoners all the time, and not just the nice ones; they treat serial killers and rapists and every other scumbag and it's considered their professional duty to divorce their personal or political views from their treating of patients. But now in the new woke America it's o.k. to refuse treatment to people with whom we disagree - or think we disagree.
This was where it was always going and where it will continue to go if we don't win this fight; the Left will declare many of us Tuntouchables and we will be denied medical treatment, employment, utilities, you name it.
The Chicoms have already been doing this with their social credit score; if you get a bad score (and that by talking to the wrong people or trying to participate in civic activities the Party does not like) you get denied treatment in hospitals, and you can't fly on planes or travel or work at good jobs or rent apartments or get phone service. The American Left is trying to bring the same standard here.
That is why this hospital needs to die. It must be an example to everyone that if you pull this crap you will suffer terribly. We need to bring every form of economic and political and legal pressure we can on this place.
I know, I know...I'm going to be accused of creating my own social credit score. Maybe I am, to a degree, but the aggressor sets the rules of engagement and they are the ones who threw down the gauntlet. They will throw down more than a gauntlet next time if we let them off so easily. Sadly, politics is war by another means and while Jesus forgives and so do we there still has to be consequences; God doesn't let the unrepentant off the hook. Even the repentant have to pay the price for their sins. Kill a man, for instance, and God will forgive you vut He won't get you out of jail. You have to pay the penance.
The employees at this hospital went WAY over the line, and the hospital has fired nobody, meaning they agree with the actions of these horsepiddlers. There MUST be a price to be paid or this will spread, like blood poisoning. Sometimes an infected limb has to be cut off.
If nothing else this should lead to a billion dollar lawsuit which will bankrupt the hospital. Maybe the Sekulow Center for Law and Justice will take this case? This needs to be just one avenue of attack.
Another thing we can do is the Florida bus trick, send busloads of sick illegals to seek treatment at this hospital. If they don't want ICE there so be it! We should send them from all of our states, just transplrt thousands of illegal aliens to the ER of this hospital.
If that's what they want....
NYPD should refuse "treatment" for the hospital and for hospital staff, at least those involved. But of course the NYPD is more professional than these woke staffers, alas. Still it's fun to think about; what would happen if the NY Police said they would no longer offer protection for this hospital. No doubt the hospital could beef up it's own security but at what cost? And the hew and cry would be titanic, and the media would never once mention the hypocrisy of it all.
Something must be done. If nothing else we need rowdy protestors to plant themselves outside of the hospital and intimidate the losers who run the place.
But of course we'll do none of this and the Left knows it. Socialism advances by using our decencies against us and it always has. THEY have no decency and no standards and will do whatever it takes. Sadly we won't do likewise and I still hear so many good Conservatives saying how we don't want to become them. That may be right; we DON'T want to become them. But no soldier on any battlefield (well, few anyway) ever wanted to become a killer either, but when it's us or them you kill. Our side still hasn't figured it out; these people mean to kill us or otherwise wipe us out. This is a war. Until we understand that we will continue to treat this like a gentleman's disagreement and they will continue to treat it as a war of extermination. An asymmetric war of extermination leads to one side being exterminated.

Friends Like These
Timothy Birdnow
This gives us the RINO view of Conservatives perfectly:
"There was always an element of the Republican Party that was batshit crazy. They had lots of different names—they were John Birchers, they were ‘movement conservatives,’ they were the religious right. And we did what every other Republican candidate did: we exploited them. We got them to the polls. We talked about abortion. We promised—and we did nothing. They could grumble, but their choices were limited.”
Bob Martinez, former Republican Governor of Florida and George H.W. Bush's drug czar.
We have always had to fight the Democrats, the media, and a large chunk of our own party. With friends like these....

Wishful Thinking
Timothy Birdnow
This is what the media has been reduced to - worrying about
bruising on Trump's hands. They write these big, dark stories intimating there is something seriously wrong with Mr. Trump and that we should invoke the 25th Amendment.
So they guy bruises his hands a lot. He is a very active man and as he says he takes aspirin daily and has a tendency to whack things. Big deal.
This MIGHT be an issue if Trump were running for re-election (it's not, and the media has covered up all sorts of illnesses in past Presidents. In fact the public did not know Franklyn D. Roosevelt was in a wheelchair because the media simply did not report it.)
The reality is they are eager to report anything that might keep the spirits of their depressed and insane base high. The idea Trump might be sick is just another such tool.
If they are so worried about Presidential health, why didn't they worry about the things swimming around in Bill Clinton's genitalia, or ask why Barack Obama has gotten so thin?

Insurrectionist AG in Arizona
Timothy Birdnow
Arizona's Attorney General actual said illegal aliens can
shoot ICE agents and do so legally under the state's laws governing self defense.
Arizona Attorney General Kris Mayes suggested in an interview with Channel 12 News that the state's "stand your ground" law was applicable in this instance because ICE agents are plain-clothe law enforcement and wearing masks.
From the article:
The Democrat, in a sit-down with 12 News anchor Brahm Resnik, warned that Arizona’s "Stand Your Ground” law, which allows citizens to use deadly force if they believe they’re in imminent danger, could become a "recipe for disaster” if protesters clash with immigration officers.
"It’s kind of a recipe for disaster because you have these masked federal officers with very little identification, sometimes no identification, wearing plain clothes and masks,” Mayes said in the Monday interview, calling ICE "very poorly trained.”
Arizona Attorney General Kris Mayes wildly suggested that residents can open fire on masked ICE agents under the state’s "Stand Your Ground” law.
"And we have a Stand Your Ground law that says that if you reasonably believe that your life is in danger and you’re in your house or your car or on your property, that you can defend yourself with lethal force.”
How, pray tell, does she "know" they are "very poorly trained"? Has she had any direct interaction with any ICE agents? This has become the Democrats' go-to argument, that ICE agents are poorly trained. Can she give us the training they have received? It's just a big fat lie.
And this woman knows that what she said is an invitation for illegals to shoot it out with the law enforcers. Frankly she should be prosecuted for inciting violence.
The Democrats are the true insurrectionists. This is just one more example.

"We have uncovered the enemy and it is us" should be the dems new slogan. Perhaps she would be better off not opening her fly trap and take time to concentrate her efforts as to what effects a 2spirit has on a 10spirit and their effects on the 50spirit. These are pressing gender issues only the left can conceive and solve!

And Tim, please fix this post. 90% of it is under a link and shouldn't be. Thanks.

Amen Mike!
Dana you're right and that's because of George Soros and his "Attorneys General Project" in which he funded all these lubatics and many of them won. I imagine this gal had quite a bit of help from Soros and the Tides Foundation, or his other outfit the Open Society.
I wish the DOJ would step up their efforts at kicking that geriatric monster out of the country for good. And his rotten seed son too.

Corruptocrats in Virginia

A Virginia Democrat, in an astonishing act of pure chutzpah, has
introduced a bill before the state legislature to make verifying the eligibility of anyone applying for aid from an NGO illegal, despite the explosive nature of the fraud in Minnesota and likely a few other Blue states.
State Rep. Jessica Anderson submitted a one page bill which states:
"No state agency responsible for the administration of federal funds shall impose a requirement on a nonprofit charitable organization providing a federal public benefit to determine, verify, or otherwise require proof of eligibility of any applicant for such benefits,”
Why on God's Green Earth would anyone introduce such a bill at this time?
My guess is that a LOT of this fraud money was going back to the Democrats and they not only want to push this all back in the shadows but want it to continue, and I suspect Anderson was willing to take the heat for it. I suspect she is in a very safe district and doesn't mind looking like a crook.

Well, with the election of Abigail Spanberger as governor in Virginia, that state has gone totally over the edge for the next four years or so. But I'm distressed, though not surprised I guess, to see that they've used Minnesota as their template for corruption, considering how hard we are working to make ourselves the absolute model of perfection in that sort of thing.

Yeah Dana; you guys are number one, but staying on top requires a lot of work. Not sure your Somalis and Tampon Tim and Muzzie Ellison are up to the challenge! St. Louis used to be number one in crime and we've slipped; we have to work harder on that score!
But you guys are tops now, so bathe in the warm glow of success!

The Trump Economic Boom
Timothy Birdnow
Well whatdya know!
But, but,but..pollsters keep telling us the public is upset about "affordability" and is eager to rush out and vote for the Democrats and it's all that SOB Dpnald Trump's fault and Republicans had better wake up and elect moderates while there is still time.
If spending is up and consumer confidence is up how is that the case? Methinks the polls are full of sh, er, poo!
Turns out the economy grew a whopping 4.4% in the last quarter. That is quite robust. And it wouldn't happen if the public was still sour on their economic prospects.

Spendthrifts
Timothy Birdnow
Well, we are going to lose Elon Musk again, certainly, and Rand Paul as well.
Surely they ca fund immigration reform and still cut this number in half.
A trillion dollars is real folding money. (Actually it's not; it is non-existent money, which means we are in for more inflation.)
I so loathe the GOP sometimes. Yes, they are better than the Democrats, but this is inexcusable.

Mexico Embraces the Reconquista
Timothy Birdnow
Newsflash to Mexico; we didn't STEAL anything. Texas rebelled against a revolutionary government which suppressed the original constitution under which the Texans were happily living, and the U.S. paid
$15 million them for Texas as part of the Treaty of Guadalupe Hidalgo. That was when fifteen million was real money (we paid that much for the Louisiana Territory.) We purchased the deeper southwest from Mexico as part of the Gadsden Purchase, proving Mexico had no interest in this land anyway I should also mention that Mexico only laid claim to that area because the Spanish had first claimed it, and they had few settlements and very little defensive capabilities in Texas or the Southwest. California rebelled against Mexican rule too and was an independent Republic for a short time. And Texas and California weren't the only places to rebel; Coahuila did, for instance and was destroyed by Santa Ana. There was also a Republic of the Rio Grande' on both sides of the river that would be destroyed by the Napoleon of the West as well. Mexico lost those territories because they couldn't get their act together and keep them. America in no way "stole" those territories. Also, a good chunk of Texas was supposed to be ours anyway; we bought it as part of the Louisiana purchase. Mexico claimed it and so we didn't argue at the time. But they stole it from us. We got it back.
(BTW I'm always interested in the small countries that would incorporate into the U.S. or attempt to splinter off from her. These include the Republic of West Florida which existed for ninety days after rebelling successfully against Spain and included the gulf coast up to Louisiana. It also included the Republic of the Rio Grande' and Texas and California and Hawaii. And of course there was the Confederated States of America. I find West Florida interesting; after kicking the Spanish out with the help of Jean Lafeet, the pirate, they applied for annexation but were given no answer so established their own government. After three months James Mdison decided to take the bull by the horns and just annexed it on his own, sending troops. The government there decided to fight it out and sent their own forces to oppose the Americans but upon seeing a strong, disciplined military thought better of it and so didn't fight and thus became the states of Mississippi, Florida, Alabama, and Louisiana. The Bonny Blue Flag was their flag, and Texas stole the lone star from them.)
At any rate Mexican claims they were robbed are horsepoop. If they didn't want to lose that land they should have settled it themselves and developed it, and they shouldn't have picked a fight with us. It was the threat of Mexican troops massing along the southern border that led to the Mexican War in the first place.

Mr President We Cannot Allow a GIUK Gap!
Timothy Birdnow
Here is what hs wanted all along; he wants the U.S. to have total access to Greenland without haing to crawl to Denmark every time we want to build a base or station forces or whatnot.
And this is the deal that is being negotiated now; full access. Talk of annexation - voluntary or not - was Trump's negotiating tool to force the Danes to quit playing footsie with the Chicoms and Russians and let us defend the island and the GIUK Gap properly. (That's the Greenland-Iceland-United Kingdom Gap, fyi. The open water connecting the North Atlantic and Arctic Oceans and only really opne waters in the Arctic.)
Last summer Denmark expanded U.S. access to Greenland to stave off Trump, and now they are going to have to do so again.
BTW The title of this is a paraphrasing of the last line from the great Peter Sellers' movie Dr. Strangelove and is spoken by George C. Scott's character General Turgis.

Big Court Win in Minnesota
Timothy Birdnow
ICE wins a major victory in court with an appeals court overruling the partisan hack judge in Minnesota who issued draconian rules of engagement when dealing with unruly illegals.
Just as I predicted.
FTA:
An appeals court on Wednesday reversed a lower court decision in Minnesota that placed severe restrictions on federal immigration agents when it comes to handling violent and disruptive agitators.
The U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit issued an administrative stay, pausing a lower court’s preliminary injunction that had limited the tactics used by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents against protesters and "observers.”
Wednesday’s decision comes amid Operation Metro Surge, a large-scale immigration enforcement initiative launched by the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) in early December 2025, which has deployed over 3,000 federal agents to the Twin Cities area of Minneapolis and St. Paul. The operation has resulted in the arrest of more than 10,000 individuals, according to U.S. Border Patrol officials.
The case originated from a lawsuit filed on December 17, 2025, by the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) of Minnesota on behalf of six plaintiffs who alleged violations of their First and Fourth Amendment rights while observing or protesting ICE activities. The plaintiffs claimed they were subjected to arrests, pepper spray, intimidation with firearms, and unjustified traffic stops without probable cause or reasonable suspicion.
As I said this was intended to be a trap all along, the insurrectionists hoped for an incident in violation of the judge's order and thus a contempt citation could be issued, giving legitimacy to the insurrection. I'm not surprised ICE won on appeal, but I am surprised at the speed at which it came.
