LGBTQ Not Welcome in Turkey

Nikki Grace

President Erdogan declaring: "Gays are not welcome in Turkey...Wester n LGBT ideology will never infiltrate our ruling party or its nationalist allies...Every election is a rebirth for us...Family is sacred to us...No one can speak out against the family”.

Tim adds:

Let's talk turkey, shall we?

This is a far cry from declaring Jihad on gay people. Erdogan is resisting an ideology that promotes a particular pathology and belief system that is antithetical to the Koran and the Bible.

Now, it COULD become abusive; that is a human trait, one where people go overboard. But it needn't be the case.

That is especially true in the once-Christian West which has always valued tolerance and kindness.

In post-America we value any degenerate and evil thing. And to oppose the celebration of evil is now considered hate by those with power. But it's not.

Christians condemn homosexuality not the homosexual. And it is done out of love; these people are perishing, going to eternal damnation. What kind of love excuses THAT? The real condemnation is against the Christian for loving the gay person.

They set it up nicely; it's a win/win for the radical homosexuals. You are a bigot and hater if you do anything but celebrate and approve their lifestyle. And they say being gay is "who you are" and not what you do, so any rejection of homosexuality is a rejection of the person. It is not. I think being overweight is bad too but that doesn't mean I hate fat people. I think cancer is bad; does that make me a hater of those with cancer?

See what they did there?

'ANTI-TERRORIST' SOCIAL MEDIA CENSORSHIP HIDES GOVERNMENT COVID LIES

James Doogue

Our Government demanded 4,213 Covid-19 related Social Media posts be censored under Anti-Terrorist laws. But they wanted to keep the post's details secret. Not surprisingly it turns out the censorship was protecting government and Big Pharma lies.

An FOI request by Senator Alex Antic revealed the Department of Home Affairs demanded the 4,213 instances of censorship on Covid-19 related posts.

The posts were supposed to relate to cases of disinformation and misinformation so why the need for secrecy?

Rebecca Weisser from Spectator Australia has discovered through a whistleblower that many of the banned posts simply went against the Government narrative at the time. Much of that narrative has since been debunked. https://www.spectator.com.au/2023/05/whos-behind-australias-censorship-industrial-complex/

The FOI request response by the secretary of the Department of Home Affairs Michael Pezzullo revealed that between January 2017 and December 2022, his department had referred 13,636 posts to digital platforms such as Facebook, Meta, Twitter, Instagram and Google to review against their terms of service. Of these, 4,213 were related to Covid. But the department refused to provide details of the posts which were censored.

This is the sort of behaviour we'd expect in China and Russia not in a supposed free, democratic society.

There's an awful lot of cover-ups going on post Covid-19 to protect those in authority who lied and made mistakes.

Thanks to a whistleblower, 'The Spectator Australia has seen a spreadsheet that includes the date on which posts were flagged for censorship, the title of the posts, and the reason for the referral.'

Here are some examples from Spectator Australia.

On 21 January 2021, a post titled ‘Coercion is not consent’ was referred to Facebook because, ‘Video content is assessed to breach Facebook’s Community Standards (violation of misinformation threshold) as the content contains the statement "This v@ccine will take lives.”’ The reason given for censoring the post was ‘Content appears designed to undermine public confidence in Covid-19 vaccination program.’

The trouble with censoring this post is that it was correct. Just in Australia, the Therapeutic Goods Administration has admitted that 14 people were killed by the Covid vaccines and the deaths of another 972 people have been reported to the TGA because it is suspected that their deaths were caused by the vaccines.

Another post titled, ‘The Stand – The Truth About the Covid-19 Vaccine’ was flagged for censorship on 21 January 2021 because it was ‘assessed to have breached Facebook’s Community Standards (violation of misinformation threshold) as linked content includes misleading claims including that the "so-called vaccine experimental biological agent” actually doesn’t stop transmission’.

It is a fact that the Covid vaccines don’t stop transmission. Experts such as emeritus Professor Robert Clancy, one of Australia’s leading immunologists, pointed out that the vaccines never could have stopped transmission because they couldn’t trigger the development of antibodies in the nose and throat.

A post from 20 January 2021 was flagged because it urged people to ‘fight the "malicious mask mandate” and say no to masks and lockdown, directly contradicting official government advice on the efficacy and necessity of those public orders’.

Yet it was widely accepted before Covid that masks cannot stop the transmission of respiratory viruses and that lockdowns do great harm to society and can only protect a privileged ‘laptop class’.

In the ultimate touch of black humour, one of the reasons given for flagging a post for censorship was ‘misrepresenting a George Orwell quote’.

It is obvious that these posts are not examples of ‘online terrorist and extreme violent content’ and thus it would seem that they should never have been censored under the relevant legislation. Worse, in each of these cases, it is the government that was the purveyor of misinformation, not the post being censored.

This would be funny if it weren’t so dangerous and so tragic. In 2022 more than 25,000 Australians died unexpectedly. The government refuses to investigate what has caused the biggest increase in excess mortality in Australia since the second world war as the prime suspect is the mass Covid vaccination campaign that it conducted.

The most depressing aspect of the revelation of government collusion with Big Tech to censor social media in Australia is how little coverage it got in mainstream media. Chris Kenny wrote about it in the Australian but his article was down the side of page five. Blink and you missed it. That was better than the ABC which didn’t cover the story at all. At the Guardian, Tory Shepherd didn’t see anything wrong with the government calling for the removal of whatever it deemed to be misinformation. Rather she accused Antic and One Nation Senator Malcolm Roberts of ‘crying censorship because they themselves have had posts taken down’. Removing the social media posts of senators sounds a lot like political censorship but the left has become so authoritarian these days that it no longer blushes at silencing its opponents.

That almost identical pandemic censorship should occur in the US and Australia is not an accident. Early in the pandemic, the World Health Organisation called for Big Tech to remove any posts about the pandemic that countered its official narrative. Far from lamenting the mistakes that it made, the WHO is calling for even more power and resources via a pandemic treaty which it will use to censor misinformation during the next pandemic. Frighteningly, the Australian government and the mainstream media seem only too happy to give the WHO a blank cheque.

Prime Minister Anthony Albanese promised before he was elected, that he would order a royal commission or some other inquiry into the nation’s handling of the COVID-19 pandemic. https://www.afr.com/politics/federal/albanese-promises-covid-19-inquiry-federation-reform-20220125-p59qz7

I guess we were also expected to believe him when he claimrd he went to that True Thai massage place in his electorate in March 2013 for a traditional massage.
https://www.michaelsmithnews.com/2019/04/nines-aca-reviving-memories-of-therapeutic-albos-true-thai-massage-booking-happy-endings.html

The mainstream media are in bed with big tech, who are in bed with the Government. We will never get an honest inquiry into Covid-19. All we can hope for is the public never again submit to this type of power grab and coercion.

Racist Florida and the NAACP

Al Moscowitz

Issuing a travel ban to Florida for Black Americans is one of the most racist things I have ever heard anyone say publicly - however, that is so obvious it does not need emphasis - and that's not the purpose of this post.

The president and CEO of the NAACP issued the attached statement. He is, by training at least, a lawyer. To graduate from law school, one should possess a modicum of American History and Civics knowledge.

This does not seem to be the case with this gentleman...

He says that Florida is "in direct conflict with the democratic ideals that our union was founded upon" [sic]

Who wants to volunteer to tell the president of the NAACP that the United States was NOT founded as a democracy but as a Constitutional Republic?

One would think that by offering an annual compensation of $460,511/year for the CEO of this "nonprofit" organization, they could at least attract a person with a wide, diverse background and skillset to occupy the role.

Whoever takes on this teaching challenge had better be ready to explain the difference to this person, as it is painfully obvious that he is quite clueless - not only about this, but I'm sure many other things.

Additionally, why is a racist organization like the NAACP still permitted to exist today?

It literally stands for the "National Association for the Advancement of Colored People." This organization is PROUDLY focused on only helping one race of people at the exclusion of all others.

Can you imagine the outrage if there was a group called the "National Association for the Advancement of White People?"

If the latter is racist, and it would be, then so is the former.

How about this? Let's eliminate the NAACP and start an organization called the NAAUP... The "National Association for the Advancement of Underprivileged People." Such an organization would help ALL people, not just those of one race.

In the meantime, would someone please give this gentleman a Civics and American History lesson?

Tim adds:

Now let me get this straight. The NAACP is saying Florida is racist. That means they hate black people and don't want them around. So they are going to punish Florida by - drumroll please - trying to keep black people from going to Florida. Seems to me that is exactly what a racist would want! Fewer black people in Florida would be a Klansmen's wet dream!

And if Florida is so racist why are so many Cubans and other Latin Americans so interested in living there? Wouldn't they want to move away to a more welcoming state?

BTW If we called black folks "colored" we'd take a rash of abuse and probably see a boycott, yet it is fine for this organization to have that in their name. And the word used by many for white hicks - crackers - comes from Florida cowboys, who used whips to control the cattle. Why isn't THAT racist?

The Case for Trump

Daniel Jupp

The Case for Trump (Again)

I have no objection to people favouring DeSantis on rational grounds or policy grounds.

Like them, I think the choice is vital. Like them, I think the wrong choice is heading everyone in the wrong direction at a critical time. Unlike them, I see Trump as still easily the strongest candidate.

They say they will change their minds if presented with a strong argument. I say how is Trump’s record not a strong argument? How is knowing that on most issues he was right not a strong argument? Isn’t a secure border a good argument, even more of one now after millions have flooded in following Trumps removal? We know for a fact that Trump would make this a priority and get results, as he did before. That’s one of the most urgent threats dealt with.

On foreign policy, who has a better record? He’s been right about the perpetual war policy for 40 years. He has pledged to end the Ukraine war, and I believe he could do it. That removes one of the main sources of wealth transfer, money laundering corruption, and potential existential disaster in the form of nuclear war. Another massive threat we know Trumps policy directions would end, Again, doesn’t his record mean anything? Defeated ISIS. Didn’t start any new wars. Managed to balance projecting strength with not getting dragged into long conflicts.

How about energy and climate change? Again, we know these policy areas are massive threats, and we know from what he’s already done that he will vigorously reverse course away from mad progressive schemes. He secured energy independence, he backed pipelines and US manufacturing, he withdrew from the Paris Accords, he says he will ‘drill, baby, drill’. Again, we know that his policies lead to better security and a stronger economy already, and we know he is serious about doing it.

Just on the first few things that spring to mind above, he has an amazing record, and he has the determined intention to do the things needed (heavily opposed by most of the political Establishment) to head in the right direction again.

So on policy grounds for everything apart from falling for covid to some extent, he’s the strongest candidate. DeSantis has a few very good specific measures against wokeness to his name, but there’s no reason why Trump couldn’t adopt similar or be persuaded to in order to make his own policy platform even stronger. We know Trump instinctively opposes wokeness. With the right advice, he could start instituting stronger measures against it.

How about campaigning strength and appeal to voters? Does DeSantis have charisma? Does he draw massive crowds? Does he get the enthusiasm ratings Trump gets? Does he perform better under hostile questioning? Does he crush people as totally as Trump does on a debate stage? These are all key strengths for selling a message and winning, and Trump is stronger on all of them.

The point on the emotional connection to Trump, which people raise as a negative, is actually a positive. Nobody has that emotional connection with DeSantis as far as I can see.

How about winning. We are told that DeSantis has a better chance. But he doesn’t. He doesn’t draw in loads of fresh people. Polling shows that. Trump actually has a record of doing it. He added 11-12 million votes in an election where the figures were being distorted against him! What’s Trump’s record against other Republicans? He crushed, what 16 candidates, including strong ones like Cruz and ones with huge money backing like Jeb. He’s crushing DeSantis right now. The only way anyone has beaten him is with massive fraud and a conspiracy involving the entire political and media establishment.

Even on his weakest ground versus DeSantis, lockdowns and covid, Trump is stronger than people pretend. His instincts were correct, but for once he fatally ignored them and ‘listened to the experts’. But he still wanted lockdowns ended much earlier, he still wanted a return to normality, he still backed other treatments, he still was right on the origin and on holding China accountable, he still withdrew from WHO. That last is massive, and if in place still would make the use of a ‘pandemic’ for tyranny much harder. Will DeSantis withdraw from WHO?

Tim adds:
Amen. This shibboleth that "Trump can't win" is entirely predicated on media polling and false reporting. Why are Trump's enemies going after him with legal attacks if he is such a drag on the party?

I've heard it theorized that they are using reverse psychology, but it is way too much; they are in serious danger of scaring the voters with their Soviet tactics. You don't do what they are doing lightly. They fear Trump, plain and simple. THEY know he may well win.

If DeSantis wants to win he needs superior policies and needs to show why he's a better choice. Just saying "I'm not Trump" isn't enough.

And why should anyone elect DeSantis NOW rather than in four years?

Why, too, are all the big money donors funding DeSantis? At best he will owe them. At worst they own him. Neither are good options.

My guess is they are funding DeSantis now so as to split the conservatives , something the DeSantis candidacy is doing quite well. They hope to break us apart and then get a Nikki Haley in. Failing that they hope the DeSantis people will refuse to vote Trump, as many Cruz supporters did in 2016.

This is all about Republican Inc. maintaining control of "their" party.

Remember Ross Perot? He was a spoiler who cost George H.W. Bush the election and gave America Bill Clinton. He ran a second time and cost Bob Dole the Presidency. The Democrats and media were delighted with Perot precisely because it gave them what they wanted - President Epstein, er. Clinton.

The Democrats and media want to do this to the GOP. And the GOP party bigwigs want to do this to the GOP too; they prefer to lose the election but control the party. They never were about the American People.

Donald Trump was the only guy who was, at least for a long time.

I was a Cruz fan and still am and think he would have been a fine President, but I don't think he's have beaten Hillary. He's not mean enough. Trump is. DeSantis is not either.

At this stage in history we need a fierce warrior as our champion. The GOP keeps trying to send up marching band leaders. But then, they are on board with the Democrats most of the time. They want this whole internationalist New World Order and the coming international socialism. They just want to get their fingers in the pie.

MASGA (Make Spain Great Again)

Money Moving to Money Markets from Mutual Funds

Tom Sassi

Another $47B flowed into money market mutual funds this past week.

Before SVB's failure on March 10, $47B/week would have been huge. Now it is a normal week.

SVB focused depositors on banks, and they realized they had much higher yield alternatives.

The Fed is compounding this by hiking two more times since March 10, and might not be done

Of Mice and Memorial Day

Timothy Birdnow

So last night I was doing a few dishes in the kitchen. Suddenly I heard a great screech from just outside the window; clearly a bird of prey. I mean it was CLOSE!

I think it was an owl. I have owls down at the Ozark Hilton and, while they usually hoot, sometimes - especially when hunting - they let out such a screech.

I suspect they are hunting mice, who have targeted my house for colonization. Like little blockbusters they want to move in and chase me and my wife out.

A month or so ago I found an enormous hole in the plaster of the basement door frame. Big enough to put your fist through, and low to the ground. No doubt the mice had been laboring to excavate that. I stuffed some aluminum foil into it and sprayed in some spray-foam insulation, then put a board against it on the inside.

I found a couple of small openings in other places and they too got the foam insulation treatment.

At any rate, the mice remain a problem, although there seems to be fewer of them. I keep mouse poison handy at all times, and it has been disappearing less and less.

I've largely given up on snap traps. Every time I check them the peanut butter bait is gone. And glue traps aren't working as well as they used to either.

But an owl would be the perfect neighbor!  The mice wouldn't DARE try to get into the house with that fellow about! I hope he stays around; my own personal air defense!

At the Ozark Hilton I had a problem with mice until a big Black Ratsnake moved into the cabin. He didn't bother me and I didn't bother him, and he cleaned all the rodents out of there. A good lodger indeed!  He moved on, but I also had a couple of armadillos living under the cabin and I am given to understand they will eat small mammals aka mice. So I've had less trouble with rodents in the wilds of the Ozarks than here in my digs in St. Louis.

Rats hate mice too, and I once saw a unique spectacle at the Ozark Hilton; a mice darted out from under my futon, right between my legs, followed by a big brown rat. The two ran in a big circle and ran right back from whence they came!  That rat was trying to kill the mouse. They will eat mice, I am given to understand, but will kill them even if they don't. No doubt they compete for the same resources and the rats know the mice are more prolific.

At any rate, the little love children have been quiet the last few days and the poison is not disappearing as quickly. I am grateful to have my friend the owl on guard!

Which brings up Memorial Day. How much more grateful must we be to our veterans who stand on guard not against pests but against those who would do us great harm. And this day memorializes those who have made the ultimate sacrifice for us all. God bless all vets, but most especially God bless those who died to secure our liberty and safety!  Ours is a debt that we really cannot repay.

The American fighting man protects us in ways great and small. They are like the owl, going after the filthy vermin invading our house, only in this case we call the vermin terrorists. They are sometimes the battle hawks, fighting in the skies against predatory filthy birds. Or they are like the loyal family pets who defend our homes, on the land or in the water. They do it all for little recompense and usually not much glory, if any.

America loves superhero movies and watches endless drivel from Marvel and the like, yet the real heroes walk among us and ask for little in return. And sometimes they no longer walk among us.

Today marks our remembrance of those whose legs are still.

Thank you for that. Thank you for giving your life so we may live ours!

Why Bother with Taxation?

John Madric

So the agreement is to bring/hold the national debt to $35 trillion. How much is that? Imagine when Jesus was born, and you set aside say $50 million EVERY DAY till now. That's around $35 trillion. Income tax which raises about 16% of government expenditure could be ditched completely, and it would have practically zero impact on our financial state. Why bother taxing people when they're just printing all this money?

Steven Chase adds:

Ronald Reagan said: "If you got seventy-five or eighty percent of what you were asking for, I say, you take it and fight for the rest later."

Speaker McCarthy's version: "If you can get five or six percent of what you were asking for, you take the deal and claim victory."

Orwell's America

Timothy Birdnow

Here is someone who gets it.

Yes, the current ruling junta is trying to turn us all into terrorists - and use the power granted by the People to the State to suppress all political dissidents.

What they are doing - and especially Merrick Garland, the supposed "judge" who now heads up Biden's secret police - should scare the hell out of every American. This is Orwellian.

Climatic Good Old Days

Timothy Birdnow

Joe Bastardi argues it is a golden age for weather!

From the article:

But here is the fact. The good old days were more extreme. People growing up in the 30s thru 50s are leaving this life now, so their library of knowledge that has been a treasure to future generations is no longer that. And its being swept away and diminished. And that is a shame. But instead of putting tons of money into telling us how bad it is now, or how one thing after another is doomed, why don’t we get down to the real deal, looking at what the warming is doing and how it affects us in forecasting? This is not some cherry-pick. And any meteorologist that has any objectivity has got to understand that if the air is more stable and precipitation overall is less extreme, there is something going on that is opposite of what is being pushed

McCarthy Waives White Flag on Debt Ceiling

Timothy Birdnow

And here it is!  The McCarthy sell-out deal with Joe Biden.

From Zerohedge:

  • The deal raises the debt ceiling by roughly $4 trillion for two years, and is consistent with the structure of budget deals struck in 2015, 2018 and 2019 which simultaneously raised the debt limit.
  • According to a GOP one-pager on the deal, it includes a rollback of non-defense discretionary spending to FY2022 levels, while capping topline federal spending to 1% annual growth for six years.
  • After 2025 there are no budget caps, only "non-enforceable appropriations targets."
  • Defense spending would be in-line with what Biden requested in his 2024 budget proposal - roughly $900 billion.
  • The deal fully funds medical care for veterans, including the Toxic Exposure Fund through the bipartisan PACT Act.
  • The agreement increases the age for which food stamp recipients must seek work to be eligible, from 49 to 54, but also includes reforms to expand who is eligible.
  • Claws back "tens of billions" in unspent COVID-19 funds
  • Cuts IRS funding 'without nixing the full $80 billion' approved last year. According to the GOP, the deal will "nix the total FY23 staffing funding request for new IRS agents."
  • The deal includes energy permitting reform demanded by Republicans and Sen. Joe Manchin (D-WV)
  • No new taxes, according to McCarthy.
Many Republicans aren't on board:

A $4 trillion debt ceiling increase?

With virtually none of the key fiscally responsible policies passed in the Limit, Save, Grow Act kept intact?

Hard pass. Hold the line.

— Rep. Andrew Clyde (@Rep_Clyde) May 27, 2023

The deal adds $4 trillion to the debt, hands away all leverage to the Biden admin for rest of his term, in exchange for freezing/then growing the current woke & weaponized regime, with only 2 yrs of caps designed to fail. Conservatives should fight it with all their might.

Missouri miracle? Exhumed nun whose body did not decompose attracts travelers to small town

Dana Mathewson

This story appeared -- incomplete -- on Fox News today, but my wonderful Catholic "church sister" had many more details for Martha and me in church today, which she sent me via e-mail.

First, the (amended) Fox story:

Thousands of people from around the country have traveled to the small town of Gower, Missouri, after it was discovered that the body of a nun who died there four years ago had not decomposed for the most part.

Sr. Wilhelmina (Lancaster) of the Most Holy Rosary, the foundress of the Benedictines of Mary, Queen of Apostles, died at age 95 on May 29, 2019.

She was buried shortly thereafter in a simple wooden casket. She was not embalmed, and her grave was dug by hand by her sisters, said the website of the monastic order.

Recently, with construction of a new altar underway, the sisters of the Benedictines of Mary, Queen of Apostles "decided the rightful place of our holy foundress was in the Church."

"This practice is very common in religious communities, even before their cause [for canonization] has been introduced," the website also noted.

Sr. Wilhelmina was exhumed on April 28 — and although the top of her casket had caved in and there was dirt on her remains, her body and the items she was buried with were in a "remarkably preserved condition," according to the sisters.

"The careful process of cleaning and removing the dirt and mold began, and the body began to lose volume since the initial exhumation with exposure to air," said the monastery.

"Thus some shrinking and darkening took place. All facial features were visible, but as falling dirt had caused damage, especially to the right eye, a Sister carefully created a wax mask to cover the face."

Her religious habit, which the monastery described as being "made from natural fibers," was completely preserved.

"The synthetic veil was perfectly intact, while the lining of the coffin, made of very similar material, was completely deteriorated and gone," said the monastery.

Sister Wilhelmina was known for her devotion to the traditional Latin Mass and her faithfulness to Benedictine contemplation and the Liturgy of the Hours, according to several sources.

The original Fox News story this morning had very few details, especially the reason for the exhumation.

My "church sister" had better stuff, especially regarding the reason as attached here, from an e-mail she received from the website of the Benedictines of St. Mary:

Dear Families, Friends and Benefactors,

By now, most of you have heard of the events that have transpired at the Abbey, especially surrounding the exhumation of our Sister Wilhelmina. We simply want to reach out to you to clarify a few points.

Our Abbey had been planning the addition of a St. Joseph Shrine within the oratory for quite some time, including the reinterment of the remains of our beloved foundress, Sister Wilhelmina. Last month, in preparation for the construction of the shrine, we exhumed her, having been told to expect bones in the highly moist clay of Missouri, as she was buried in a simple wooden coffin without any embalming whatsoever four years ago.

The intent was devotional, and to carry this out in the privacy of our cloistered life. Nevertheless, the discovery of what appeared to be an intact body and a perfectly preserved religious habit created an unexpected twist to our plans. We had no intent to make the discovery so public, but unfortunately, a private email was posted publicly, and the news began to spread like wildfire. However, God works in mysterious ways, and we embrace His new plan for us.

Many have voiced concern about the disruption to our life, but we have, thankfully, remained unaffected and able to continue on in our life of ora at labora, prayer and work, as Sister Wilhelmina would have it. Unless we looked out the front windows, or out at the crowds attending our Mass and Divine Offices, we would not even know people are here. An army of volunteers and our local law enforcement have stepped forward to manage the crowds, and we are deeply grateful to each of them, as they allow us to continue our life in peace, while granting the visitors a pleasant and prayerful experience at the Abbey.

Regarding what seems to be the miraculous preservation of Sister’s body, we are given the opportunity to contemplate the great gifts God gives us every day, especially the ones that are literally hidden from our eyes. St. Augustine said that "We marvel at what is extraordinary. Think of the fact that a few seeds bring forth an entire field of wheat." Of this and ordinary daily miracles, he says, "We don’t bother to reflect on this fact because it is always there. What we notice are events that aren’t part of the ordinary course of nature. They are works that God has reserved for particular times and places to cause us amazement and dumbfound us so that we will open our minds to God’s presence and care in all events and beauties." We believe that even as Sister Wilhelmina’s whole life and death was a miracle, pointing the way to Almighty God, that what she has left behind continues to point to His Resurrection and the life of glory that awaits us.

The relics of a person are exhumed in the ordinary course of action for the opening of the causes of saints, leading many to believe that such a cause has been or will be opened. As this is not the case, we continue on with a simple reinterment of our foundress, and are seeking advice on a possible opening of a cause in the future, especially as Sister has not yet reached the required minimum of five years since death in order to begin.Initial statements regarding Sister’s extraordinary physical state have already been procured, but we acknowledge that further studies must be done later, in an official capacity.

While we can attest to Sister’s personal sanctity, we know that incorruptibility is not among the official signs taken by the Church as a miracle for sainthood, and that all things must be subjected to further scrutiny, especially by the competent authorities in the medical field. The life itself and favors received must be established as proof of holiness.

While we rejoice in the shared love for our foundress, we ask prudent patience for everyone, so that a proper process may begin legally, when the time is right, and if God wills that we should devote our efforts to working with Holy Mother Church on the advancement of the recognition of the holiness of our foundress. We know this is a long process, with the collection of data, and a more detailed study of her life and remains. We ask your prayers as we discern carefully where to go from here.

In the meantime, we follow her beautiful example, especially in appreciating the little daily miracles with which God blesses us every day. Please know of our prayers for all the people of good will who have contacted or visited the Abbey, the countless number of people who have shown their support and appreciation for the life and legacy of our Sr. Wilhelmina. May we pray, as she did, that God’s will be done in all things.

Bolshevik Amerika

Timothy Birdnow

They're at it again. The Federal Oprichnina, er, Department of Homeland Security is tarring conservatives with the "terrorist" and "Nazi" labels. And they are paying colleges to teach this to dumb kids.

Read all about it!:

The DHS awarded 80 grants totaling nearly $40 million under its Targeted Violence and Terrorism Prevention Grant Program to establish "media literacy and online critical thinking initiatives.” In an internal memo obtained by MRC, DHS Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas referred to the grant program as a "high priority.”

According to the watchdog organization, the University of Dayton’s PREVENTS-OH was "among the most radical grantees.” The program vowed to fight "domestic violence extremism and hate movements.”

"For example, a chart used by DHS and its grantee in a training program equates mainstream groups with militant neo-Nazis, including: The Heritage Foundation, Fox News, the National Rifle Association (NRA), Breitbart News, PragerU, Turning Point USA, the Christian Broadcasting Network (CBN), the American Conservative Union Foundation (ACUF) and the Republican National Committee, among others,” MRC stated.

Strange; I thought this was our country too. How is it our government is now calling us terrorists and nazis?

You must understand; this is key to the ultimate plans of the Left to shut down the First Amendment right to free speech. They were able to get the Patriot Act in place which stripped away freedoms from accused terrorists, so if they can then tar us with the label they can take away our rights to speak.

That's how Communists have always proceeded with the Revolution.

America is now a Bolshevik nation.

Restorative Justice Lets Vandals Go Free

Timothy Birdnow

A woke prosecutor in California is letting BLM vandals off with  a misdemeanor for desecrating the statue of Saint Juniper Serra at a Catholic church.

His actions essentially violate the First Amendment as he is "prohibiting the free exercise" of religion.

From the Blaze:

District Attorney Lori E. Frugoli reached the resolution "after a thorough case review by prosecutors and a long discussion among church members, community members, legal counsel for the defendants and the defendants' participation in the Restorative Justice Process guided by Rochelle Edwards of the Transformative Justice Institute."

The vandals were ordered to pay the church for the damages, complete 50 hours of community service, write an apology, participate in a community forum, and stay off church property.

"It is the District Attorney's Office's goal to achieve a fair result on all cases, and I strongly believe justice was served on this one," Frugoli stated. "While this issue has raised emotions because of the sensitivities around religion, community boundaries, and historic inequities, the fact is that a resolution through accountability has been reached through restorative justice and that is a victory for this community."

In preparation for the October protest, the church maintenance worker covered the statue in duct tape and boarded up windows, the Catholic News Agency reported.

The outlet reported that "masked rioters" removed the tape and spray-painted the statue before tearing it from its foundation.

According to the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops, there have been at least 255 attacks on Catholic churches since May 2020.

In a letter to Frugoli, Archbishop Salvatore J. Cordileone stated that he is "disturbed but not surprised" by the DA's decision to reduce the charges.

"I have seen this happen too many times before. We are promised justice and equal treatment, only to have our legitimate concerns dismissed, and we ourselves treated as unworthy of consideration," Cordileone wrote.

He stated that during the vandal's attack on the church, the San Rafael Police Department was instructed by a "higher authority" not to intervene while the felony crime was being committed.

Equal justice under the law? Fuggitaboutit!

Red States Band Together to Stop Illegal Invasion

Timothy Birdnow

A number of red states are sending in the cavalry to Texas to help do the job the American government Just Won't Do.

From the Blaze:

Tennessee, Nebraska, Florida, Idaho, and Mississippi are among the red states that have stepped up to and into the breach, committing troops, law enforcement agents, support vehicles, and other resources.

The U.S. is refusing to do its fundamental job here, and expecting payment nonetheless. Now we are seeing the states taking on the task. How long before everyone realizes the U.S. is more a liability than an asset? Secession is increasingly necessary for any sort of America to survive.

If we do this now, how long before we simply tell the Feds to bugger off on everything?

I find it interesting that so many Republican states are on board, yet my home state of Missouri is strangely absent. Missouri Republicans have  a supermajority  in both houses of Congress as well as a Republican Governor, yet hizzoner Mike "anybody have a spine for sale" Parsons can't be bothered, even though we are a state very close to Texas. Parsons is useless, alas.

Liberals ARE Nuts!

Timothy Birdnow

In case you missed it; left wing activism has been tied by a peer reviewed study to narcissism and psychopathy.

We all knew liberals were nuts; this only confirms it.

Abortion Doctor Gets Let Off

Timothy Birdnow

A doctor who performed an abortion on a ten year old girl and failed to report it (the girl was pregnant with the child of a 27 year old illegal alien) then told reporters the story has been given a small fine and sent on her way by the state medical board. The Prosecuting Attorney's office wanted her license suspended but the board refused to do so.

This is how it works in modern America. Openly violate the law and, if you are a Progressive, get let off. How much do you want to bet NARAL paid her small fine too?

We need to start really hitting these people where it hurts.

Pro-life protesters need to picket her practice night and day, and make her a pariah.

Accoring to The Blaze:

The girl's story received national media attention after being shared by multiple news outlets and President Joe Biden.

On Thursday, Indiana's Medical Licensing Board gave Bernard a slap on the wrist, fining her $3,000 for violating patient privacy laws. However, the board rejected a request from the attorney general's office to suspend her license.

No restrictions were placed on Bernard's medical practice.

In July, Attorney General Todd Rokita vowed to investigate Bernard. He claimed that the doctor failed to comply with the state's mandatory reporting law, which requires individuals who suspect child abuse to alert law enforcement.

Deputy Attorney General Cory Voight accused Bernard of committing an "egregious violation" of patient privacy orders.

"There's been no case like this before the board," Voight stated. "No physician has been as brazen in pursuit of their own agenda."

The doctor went on to sneer at the state Attorney General and pretty much laughed at them.

"I think if the attorney general, Todd Rokita, had not chosen to make this his political stunt, we wouldn't be here today," Bernard said.

So she doesn't believe she did anything wrong.

We must make this very costly for her. Until that happens people like this will continue to thumb their noses at the law.
