Stupid Gobal Warming Tricks

Timothy Birdnow

Two of the top stories at Physorg today are about global warming, and both are stupid beyond words. (I suppose they are running them because of the great big super delux climate protest and taffy pull, but I digress.)

The first article argues that coal fired power plants in Asia will not be able to find water to cool down because of "climate change".

From the article:

"One of the is that the weather is changing, which leads to more extreme events—more torrential downpours and more droughts," said Jeffrey Bielicki, a co-author of the study and an associate professor with a joint appointment in the Department of Civil, Environmental, and Geodetic Engineering and the John Glenn College of Public Affairs at The Ohio State University.

"The power plants—coal, nuclear and —require water for cooling, so when you don't have the rain, you don't have the stream flow, you can't cool the power plant."

This is just fearmongering. First, what do we mean by Asia? It's only the largest continent on the planet, with a huge diversity in climates and geography. To paint with such a broad stroke is not the signs of a serious scientific endeavor. There is not going to be any water problems in Indochina, or Bengladesh.

So much is being ignored in this; the impact of teh Himalayas, the river basins, etc. Very little water is dependent on rainfall in one particular region.

This is nothing but pseudo-science.

The second article is about Antarctic glaciers, and how meltwater is making them speed up.

From the article:

The new research, published today in Nature Communications, shows that accelerations in Antarctic Peninsula glaciers' movements coincide with spikes in snowmelt. This association occurs because surface meltwater penetrates to the ice bed and lubricates glacier flow.

The scientists expect that as temperatures continue to rise in the Antarctic, surface melting will occur more frequently and across a wider area, making it an important factor in determining the speed at which glaciers move towards the sea.

Now the average temperature in Amtarctica is well below freezing, even in the summer. The notion that the air has warmed and is melting the glaciers is silly. At most you may have a small amount of melting on the Antarctic Peninsula, which is much warmer than the rest of the continent and is affected by maritime currents.

Actually, they are correct in that meltwater IS accelerating these glaciers, but the melting is happening under the glaciers, not on the surface. There is considerable volcanic activity in Antarctica, and active volcanies heat the underside of much of the icecap. The result is water below and ice above - and the ice moves. That's why West Antarctica is losing so much ice; the ring of fire down there has become more active in recent years, probably because of the impending reversal of the Earth's magnetic field.

It should be pointed out that there is no statistically significant planetary warming. Hasn't been for decades.

They just won't let this thing go, despite a complete lack of evidence to support the theory. There is no tropical tropospheric hot spot - as is required by the models. They can't explain the "pause". They can't find the "missing heat". In short, they have a nice sounding theory but no evidence. When you have no evidence you have to surrender the theory, no matter how much you wish it were so.

But this is too important to too many people who have big political and economic reform plans. It's all about the socialism.

Anti Vaping Hypocrisy

Timothy Birdnow

Rich Lowey takes on the anti vaping Nazis in a fine piece at Policico.

The Ridiculous Campaign Against Vaping

I won't excerpt a lot, but just give you a little taste:

About 11 million adults vape, and some percentage of them are former smokers or would be smoking in the absence of e-cigarettes. A robust study in the United Kingdom found that vaping is twice as effective as other common nicotine replacements in getting smokers to quit. The flavors, according to surveys of users, are a big draw for smokers quitting traditional cigarettes.

Anything that pushes e-cigarette users back into conventional smoking (now at a new low of 14 percent of adults) is bad for public health. It’s manifestly absurd to ban vaping products and leave cigarettes, including flavored cigarettes, on the market.

The fact that no smoke is produced and the water vapor is just laced with some flavorings and nicotine should have made anti-smoking zealots happy, but it did not. That tells us they were never about "second hand smoke" or even the public health, but had ulterior motives in the war on tobacco.

What were those motives?  I figured it out one time in a conversation with another student when I was in college. She argued "it is disgraceful that people are wasting farmland on TOBACCO when they could be growing food for the poor". It hit me then that that is precisely the objection; they see it as the duty of farmers to feed the hungry, not produce cash crops. And tobacco is so Western (even though the Holy Native Americans did it first).

So they don't mind smoking pot, but don't want people to vape. They also don't mind farmers wasting valuable cropland on corn to be used in biofuels.

The hypocrisy of the Left is astonishing. It is also astonishing to me that many of the more puritanical Christians are right on board with this stupidity; they see it as some hedonistic pleasure that should be stamped out. There were many zealots to be counted in the liberal Christian churches; I remember when a councilman in St. Louis County, a big fat fellow, was pushing a total smoking ban. He had to back down temporarily when a public outcry led to a packed house at the hearing. Strange; this fellow hated smoking on religious grounds, but had no problem weighing in at over three hundred pounds.

Look; I get it why people may hate smoking; it stinks up places and hangs on your clothes. But to deny someone the right to do it is wrong, just as it was wrong to deny, say, homosexuals from private behavior. If you oppose anti-sodomy laws, what right do you have to support anti-smoking laws?  Both activities are unhealthy.

But nobody ever lost any money betting against hypocrisy.

Blue States Sue Administration over Carbon Dioxide Regulations

Timothy Birdnow

Illinois joins 22 other states as well as the District of Columbia in filing suit against the Trump Administration demanding the authority to regulate auto carbon emissions.

According to the Belleville News Democrat:

Attorney General Kwame Raoul joined a group of 22 other states, the District of Columbia and two cities in suing the federal government after it moved Thursday to revoke the most populous state’s ability to set stricter emission specifications than those required by President Donald Trump’s Administration.

The lawsuit is testing the waters for how federal and state powers will be weighed when setting environmental policies to combat climate change. It was filed the same day as the Global Climate Strike, a march in more than 150 countries to urge political leaders to take action on global warming.

[...]

The effects of climate change include, the attorneys general wrote, deterioration of the state’s infrastructure, parks, agriculture sector and tourism industry. That would likely cause a drop in the amount of tax revenue those states could collect. Additionally, air quality would decay, causing public health programs to spend more, they added.

"I simply will not tolerate the federal government’s actions to refute scientific facts and allow climate change to go unchecked, all while putting our environment and public health at risk,” Raoul said in a press release.

HE won't allow the Federal government to stop Illinois from regulating carbon dioxide? Since when do Democrats defend states rights over Federal supremacy?

No mention of where the lawsuit was filed, but given this started in California, anyone want to take a guess?  It was aimed at the Ninth Circuit all along.

There is not a single Republican-controlled state in this suit. The others include California, New Mexico, Nevada, Virginia, Connecticut, Colorado, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, Hawaii, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Vermont, Wisconsin, Washington, D.C., as well as New York City and Los Angeles. I don't see how the three cities have standing here.

One of the arguments being used is that this restriction will cost the individual states revenue because they won't be able to collect fines. They are actually arguing that. Perhaps they should make defecating on the sidewalk a crime and enforce it in places like, oh, San Francisco if they want extra revenue.

Read more about the Trump policy here.

All in the Bin Laden Family

Timothy Birdnow

Warner Todd Houston posted his latest at Breitbart on Facebook:

Saudi Owner of British Soccer Team Praises ‘Really Good’ bin Laden Family

I replied:

Of course Warner 'Sama was something of the black sheep of the family, being the child of a concubine rather than a wife. And bear in mind George W. Bush was in business with Osama's oldest brother Salim. When he first opened his oil company Arbusto Bush turned to Salim Bin Laden for financing (he knew him from school). So President Bush was a friend and partner of the brother of the terrorist.https:// www.denverpost.c om/2006/09/11/ bush-ties-to-bin -laden-haunt-gr im-anniversary/
Strange. It makes me wonder if the attacks were not just a little personal on Bin Laden's account This is one reason I never liked the Bush family; too many close ties to foreign interests. That was at least part of Bush's problem understanding why we middle Americans don't want to be overrun by immigrants; he didn't see it as a big deal. Borders were just nuisances in the globalist Bush family worldview..
And that is exactly right; the Bush family never had a problem with open borders because they never really saw the need to maintain a sovereign America. They were international businessmen, and saw the evolution of globalism as an unmitigated good. Of course, it WAS - for them.

Notice, too, how the media never really went after W. Bush for these ties to Bin Laden himself, and hardly ever mentioned it. Why was that? Because they were in the tank for the same internationalist ideology, perhaps?  They went after Bush for everything else, but not this.

I am so thankful Jeb! never got out of single digits in the last election. The Bush family has done quite enough.

Bikers surprise Indiana girl running lemonade stand after mom assists during motorcycle accident

Dana Mathewson

It's always gratifying to find a feel-good story to post, and this certainly qualifies. It also shows that capitalism isn't dead, despite the stupid comments to the contrary from... er... certain members of Congress.

Thirsty bikers won’t just settle for any old glass of lemonade — they only stop for the "best lemonade in the state.”

That’s exactly what happened in Chili, Ind. when a group of bikers visited an 8-year-old girl’s lemonade stand as part of a surprise they organized for the girl and her mom.

Daryn Sturch, mom to 8-year-old Bryanne, shared footage of the sweet moment to Facebook, explaining that she originally met the bikers last year while coming to their aid during a road accident.

"My daughter and I pulled up on a motorcycle accident," Sturch wrote of the September 2018 incident, saying that multiple members of the Milwaukee Iron motorcycle group had been involved. "Today they came by for lemonade to surprise my daughter.”

The accident took place near Denver, Ind., according to RTV6. Sturch, a nurse, told the outlet that she "ran up to assist” in any way she could.

The bikers didn’t forget. They stayed in touch with Sturch, and on Sept. 15, they decided to surprise Bryanne by showing up for a cold glass of lemonade.

The rest of the story, complete with a video, is here: https://www.foxnews.com/lifestyle/bikers-indiana-girl-lemonade-stand-motorcycle-accident The photo of a line of bikers, with a nice lineup of bikes parked across the road from the girl's stand, is certainly impressive in itself and makes you wish you could make the trip to Indiana.

To Kill a Thunderbird; the Agenda 21 Ghetto

Timothy Birdnow

They've been coming for your guns for some time - now they're coming for your car.

But then, we already knew that. Still, the Washington Free Beacon confirms what we all knew:

Democratic presidential candidate Andrew Yang said the United States may have to eliminate private car ownership to combat climate change during MSNBC's climate forum at Georgetown University Thursday morning.

He told MSNBC host Ali Velshi that "we might not own our own cars" by 2050to wean the United States economy off of fossil fuels, describing private car ownership as "really inefficient and bad for the environment." Privately owned cars would be replaced by a "constant roving fleet of electric cars."

The ruse is to provide public transportation for people. That's old hat. But the real plan is to keep people from actually going where they will, and not being watched in the process. A fleet of public cars would not take you to, say, my cabin - the glorious Ozark Hilton - back in the woods. It also would keep a record of everywhere you went, meaning the government would keep you under control.

You can't control what you can't catch. The Progressives know that, which is why they have waged a war on private ownership of cars for a long time. They have to get us out of them, and into their Agenda 21 ghettos.

Ford Fraud

Timothy Birdnow

Christine Blowsey Fraud is precisely that.

From PJ Media:

Mark Judge was Brett Kavanaugh’s friend, and the other alleged assailant, according to Christine Blasey Ford. In 1997, Judge published a memoir (which can still be purchased on Amazon) thatdescribed the drunken escapades of his teens. Cashill believes that Judge’s book prompted Ford and those handling her to change the timeline and details of the assault in order to link Kavanaugh to the incident. While Ford couldn’t remember many important details of her assault, elements of her testimony mirrored details of Judge’s book—including the detail that Mark Judge was working at Safeway, and that when Ford allegedly saw him the day after the assault, he "looked a little bit ill." Cashill writes, "it was Judge himself who provided the ‘looked a little bit ill’ detail. This is not something Ford would have remembered 35 years later.”

At the time, The Washington Post actually claimedthat Mark Judge’s memoir "validated” Christine Blasey Ford’s timeline of the alleged assault. "Judge’s book not only suggests that the summer of 1982 was probably the period during which the alleged incident occurred but also makes the likelihood that he was heavily intoxicated — as Ford has claimed — greater,” wrote Phillip Bump, national correspondent for the Post. Perhaps he got that in reverse.

Virtually everyone in the media failed to acknowledge is that Ford changing the timeline of the assault from the "mid-1980s" to the "early 1980s" generated one of the most significant plot holes of her story: how she got to and from the party. In the summer of 1982, the revised year of the alleged assault, Christine Blasey Ford was too young to drive and would have needed transportation to and from the party. She was unable to say who brought her there and who took her back home. The likely explanation for this is that had the assault occurred in the mid-1980s like she told her therapist, she’d have been old enough to drive, and by her own testimony, "once I did have my driver's license, I liked to drive myself.” Revising the timeline of her assault with the details of Judge’s book was the only way to plausibly link Kavanaugh with the party.

There are two other recent revelations that shed even more light on this deception. First, that Leland Keyser, Christine Blasey Ford’s best friend at the time (who was named by Ford as a witness) says she was pressured by Ford’s allies to publicly back Ford’s story. The other is that Ford’s attorney said that Ford was partly motivated to by a desire to defend Roe v. Wade.It should be obvious to anyone that "credible” does not describe Christine Blasey Ford, her allegations, or Robin Pogrebin’s and Kate Kelly’s book—which didn't care to thoroughly and objectively examine Ford's claims.

Ford was a fraud, in no uncertain terms.

Who Funds the Illegal Invasion?

Timothy Birdnow

So who is funding the war on our borders and against ICE?  Michelle Malkin answers that question:

Who’s funding the wicked War on ICE? For starters, open borders billionaire George Soros’ Open Society Foundations, his son Alex’s Jewish social justice nonprofit Bend the Arc, Soros-backed CREDO Action, and the Soros-funded Center for Popular Democracy, United We Dream, and Make the Road have all subsidized and stoked hatred of ICE and the Border Patrol.

And that's not all:

Even more shocking is how much of the toxic propaganda undermining our men and women on our homeland security front lines is being underwritten by unsuspecting taxpayers, churchgoers, and consumers.

In coming weeks, I will be exposing the global financiers and government programs promoting the campaign to "Melt ICE,” turn the Border Patrol into the Diaper Patrol, open the floodgates to every last unvetted Muslim refugee and unassimilated, low-wage Central American laborer, and erase the America my legal immigrant parents taught me to cherish.

This is a concerted, orchestrated effort to end American sovereignty and usher in world government under the banner of the United Nations and a corporatist global economy. Sadly, both parties favor the dissolution of America, at least tacitly. Oh, they may not even tell themselves that is what they want, but they are willing to pimp America into an early grave for fun and profit.

It took Rome exactly one hundred years to fall from the time the first Germanic invaders entered the Empire. That in an era when people couldn't move around fast (or at all). How much more quickly will America fail when we have international corporations funding a full court press and using trains, planes, and automobiles to move millions of people into this country?

Jimmy Crack Basalt and I Don't Care!

Timothy Birdnow

In the comments section of a post by Dana Mathewson, Bill H. renced an experiment in Iceland to inject carbon dioxide into rock. I didn't find the exact article he mentioned but did find this article about an updated experiment in Washington State (Potsylvania, as I like to call it). From the article:

In their field study, the researchers injected the fluid carbon dioxide into hardened lava flows some 900 metres (2,952 feet) underground, near the town of Wallula in Washington State.

At that depth, minerals including calcium, iron, and magnesium make up part of the basalt formations. These minerals become unstable, and then dissolve in the acidic conditions created by the CO2.

The dissolving minerals react with the carbon dioxide to form the carbonate material ankerite, which is similar to limestone, and binds with the basalt.

Now, the Gang Green is nearly hysterical over fracking, which is to inject chemicals into the ground to break up rocks and suck the oil out of them. They warn of earthquakes and dire ecological emergencies. But they are just fine with pulling co2 out of the atmosphere, liquifying it, and injecting it into geological formations. Strange.

Also, what is missing here is any sort of way to do this without busting the bank. Factories would be happy to employ carbon capture if it was free, and even more happy if there was a way to profit from it. This is just a very expensive way to beak down rocks.

Gasoline was a waste product of the distillation of kerosene until they figured out they could use it to power automobiles. That is what you have to do to make carbon capture a priority. But then, it was never about the environment in the first place; that's why the environmentalists keep coming up with insane ideas like moving asteroids into Earth orbit and blowing them up to cool the planet.

Great. We need another ice age, or some large chunks of debris to slam into the planet.

These people are downright scary; they want to play God.

The Great Colorado Vote Fraud Game

Timothy Birdnow

The State of Colorado, under the leadership of Democratic Secretary of State  Jena Griswold has banned the use of bar coded ballots for machine counts.

According to CNN:

But some states have purchased voting machines that print out a paper receipt with either a QR (short for "quick response") or a more traditional barcode — something a computer can read, but a human cannot — which can then be easily scanned and tallied to represent a voter's choices.

But those codes are still controversial and experts warn that even though they're on paper, elections still need to be audited before results are certified.

"A voter can verify the ovals, the candidates they chose, but how it gets tabulated is actually through an encrypted QR code," Colorado Secretary of State Jena Griswold told CNN. "Is it really a voter verified paper trail if a voter cannot verify the encrypted QR code?"
To that end, from 2021, Colorado will no longer certify machines that count votes by QR or barcode.

Under a pending deal with Dominion, the vendor that currently supplies Colorado's voting equipment, a newly engineered software upgrade will instead print out ballots with choices picked marked with darkened ovals, identical to how a hand-marked ballot would look. Dominion's scanners already are designed to record hand-marked ballots, "so no change is necessary," spokeswoman Kay Stinson said
.

The Left wing Brennan Center is in favor of this.

Why? There has never been any example of machine hacking in the fashion of which they speak. Nobody has ever claimed anyone changed a single vote by hacking these systems. Even though CNN keeps pushing the 'Russian interference" angle in this story, they don't even try to claim that anyone has ever been able to change a single vote by remote tampering with these machines.

But we HAVE examples of hand ballots being tampered with. Remember the election of 2000? The "hanging chads", the "pregnant chads" etc. We are going to se the same thing with these printed ovals, and the Democrats will use the same arguments to disqualify or accept as it pleases.

This is just another example of the Democrats trying to keep the electoral system open to their cheating.

They know this system will make it much more difficult to stuff the ballot box, so they are going to go back to the old system - the very system they complained about in past elections. They know they have a much better chance of faking votes without a coding in place.

A quick glance at Sec State Jena Griswold (was she the daughter of Clark Griswold on Vacation?) Griswold was a vote stealer for Barack Obama in the 2008 election. Governor Chickenlooper, er, Hickenlooper appointed her a liason with the Feds. She assumed her postion in 2019, no doubt with money from George Soros and his Secretary of State Project. She was the first Democrat in that position since 1963.

Her priorities are voter registration and campaign finance reform. Need I say more?

More Climate Hysteria

Dana Mathewson

The other day Tim posted an article from Fox News about famous climate doomsday prophecies that never happened. You can find it below at http://tbirdnow.mee.nu/failed_media_doomsday_prophecies  It mentions the upcoming U.N. climate hootenanny at which you have to be considered "pure" to speak, apparently; if your country is expanding its collection of coal-fired plants you'll be blackballed.

Unless you're a Communist or Third-World country, that is. Please read Prof. Steven Hayward's wonderful article on Power Line, here: https://www.powerlineblog.com/archives/2019/09/the-climate-circus-comes-to-town-again.php It has two sections, and if the first one doesn't get you laughing, the second one certainly will -- be careful to keep your coffee cup on the desk, or you'll be telling me I need to buy you a new keyboard!

Fed Starting the Big Squeeze

Timothy Birdnow

And so it begins.

From Yahoo News:

The reasons behind borrowers' sudden demand for cash were attributed to a host of technical conditions that converged to drain money out of the system.

There were major cash withdrawals as quarterly corporate taxes came due, at the same time as a surge of US Treasury debt came into the market to finance deficit spending by the federal government.

More generally, more government securities have built up on the balance sheets of private firms these days as the Fed has begun to wind down the massive holdings of Treasury paper it amassed during the global financial crisis -- which has also sucked cash out of the market.

"It looks like a lot of cash left the system in recent days and that demand for dollars was greater than the number of dollars in circulation," said Gregori Volokhine of Meeshaert Financial Services.

So there is now a demand for cash liquidity after a decade of tepid growth. Why? Well, for one thing, that signals a STRONG economy insofar as it means banks and other institutions are needing more on hand; they are moving more of it. The hallmark of any good economy is fast turnover of money.

That's the good news. The bad is that the Fed is starting the squeeze play, pushing banks and other financial institutions to pay them back and they are taking cash OUT of the system. This is exactly what the Fed did to cause the Great Depression, cut the money supply at a time when everyone needed more money in the economy.

This is exactly what I suspected they would do about a year out from the next election. They are true to form.

The intent is to cause an economic downturn and spike a market panic just before the next election. To do that they have to start squeezing now. But they don't want it to come to a head now, so they are going to reduce interest rates temporarily and have an easy money policy for six months or so, then do a "belt tightening" and watch the markets crash. This will guarantee Big Smelly Squaw or Captain Peachfuzz Biden win the election.

It is all falling into place as I have foreseen...

See here and here. also here and here.

Russian Bioweapons Plant Explodes

Timothy Birdnow

The Russians are still rank incompetents, only with dangerous weaponry.

According to the Daily Star a bioweapons lab and storage facility recently exploded in Siberia, and could have spread Level Four biohazzard material to the surrounding countryside.

From the article:

A massive gas explosion has sparked a fire at a Russian lab that houses viruses ranging from smallpox to Ebola, authorities have said.

The State Research Centre of Virology and Biotechnology has said a cylinder exploded in lab which is one of two places in the world that houses the smallpox disease which has been eradicated in the world.

Other highly lethal diseases that are stored there include Anthrax and Ebola.

Located in Koltsovo, in the Novosibirsk region of Siberia, the site is thought to be where biological weapons have been made.

End

These were the idiots we so feared back in the day?

This is in no small measure at least partly our fault. We kept the nuclear cities running to avoid scientists freelancing. They have been prouducing prodigious amounts of weapons-grade nuclear material since the end of the Cold War.That was Bill Clinton/Madeleine Albright's brilliant idea.We actually PAID for it! I have no doubt we did the same with bio-weapons.

We should have helped them dismantle these facilities, and made it a condition for deaoling with the fledgeling Russian government. We didn't. We made little effort to engage the Russians, and they turned back to the people who had run their country into the ground in the first place.

So now we have Ebola-infected labs blowing up. Great.

Abortion as a Sexual Fetish

Timothy Birdnow

Concerned Women for America member Bev Ehlen sent this our way. She prefaces it with:

I hope this isn't true and those posting comments about their "fetish" are just pulling our chains. Sadly, I will not be surprised that there are those who are involved in this sick fetish.

Couples Are Apparently Getting Pregnant Just to Abort Their Baby In Twisted New Sexual Fetish

From the article:

A troubling and truly depraved new sexual fetish has been allegedly exposed through online chat forums. This "fetish” involves couples engaging in unprotected sex with the express goal of getting pregnant just to have an abortion. Being pregnant is something the couples "enjoy,” and so is the killing of their unborn child.

It’s hard to even wrap your mind around this kind of wickedness.

Paul Joseph Watson reports:

In a Reddit post entitled ‘Question regarding abortion and breeding fetish’, one user reveals how she has "a female friend who has a really powerful fetish for breeding” and never used birth control.

"She is with a male partner currently who is just like her, into breeding and they have been practising their fetish for quite a few abortions,” the post reads.

Another male respondent then shared details of his own abortion fetish lifestyle.

"I know this fetish. My girlfriend and me have the same fetish. My girlfriend enjoys her pregnancies and she enjoys the abortion. Her preferred date to abort is between 20 and 24 weeks of gestation. I enjoy making her pregnant. And I enjoy the time of her pregnancy. She has no menstrual period and she is sexually very active,” he writes.

"In the last ten years in our relationship we have done seven abortions and my girlfriend is pregnant again with a little girl,” he adds.

Another respondent then praises him for sharing his fetish, writing, "It is good (and rare) to hear of a couple (both man and woman) where both members are into abortion and pregnancy. This is a wonderful and potent example of personal power, where sex meets violence and creation combines with destruction.”

A monster is someone who abuses or murders someone for their own pleasure. We call John Wayne Gacy a monster because he murdered young boys for his own pleasure. How is this any different?

America is at the gates of Hell and pushing on them HARD...

Legendary St. Louis Cardinals  manager Whitey Herzog has suffered a stroke at a charity golf event.

Herzog was one of the most amazing managers; he completely reconstructed the Cardinals, making trades that would put an Arab merchant to shame. He gave St. Louis a World Series victory in 1983 and led us back to the Series in '85.  He was truly one of the greats. And he was the Man during my high school and college years - a fond memory from my past.

So God bless him and may he recover fully!

Birds of a Feather

by Jack Kemp

From Townhall.com, the following quote...

After the New York Times published an excerpt from "The Education of Brett Kavanaugh: An Investigation," a book co-written by Times reporters, Robin Pogrebin and Kate Kelly, a vile tweet was published on the Times' Opinion Twitter feed to promote the piece.

HERE THE ARTICLE HAD THE VULGAR TWEET.

The Times deleted the tweet once they began receiving flak for what was said.

It was later revealed, by a Times insider, that Pogrebin drafted and sent the tweet.
