Now the media is just being ridiculous!
Once again, Trump starts a term with a weak approval rating
Everything Trump has done has been wildly popular and the Democrats are completely cowed - why would they be cowed, why would they not be resisting but rather joining Trump, if he's so unpopular?
FTA:
Trump's initial net approval rating of +7 percentage points is lower than that of any newly elected president since World War II, with one exception: Trump himself during his first term. Trump began his presidency in 2017 with a 44.6 percent approval rating and a 41.4 percent disapproval rating, based on applying our current averaging methodology retroactively. Before that, the record low for initial net approval rating was set by former President George W. Bush in 2001, at +28 points. However, former President Joe Biden started his first term at +22 in 2021."
So, the same 538 that told us Trump would lose the election is now saying he's wildly unpopular. And based on a selection of media polls. Ri-ight.
This article claims the public hates withdrawing from the Paris Accord, hates his plan to deport aliens, and hates his pardoning of the J6 tourists.
Odd.Rasmussen has a 57% approval rating on immigration raids, for instance.
The fact remains that Trump won't get good polling numbers now any way you look at it; results are what will matter. Most of these polls are heavily weighted to Democrats anyway, and this coming in a time of a sour national mood as everything costs a fortune and we have to rebuild from the ruins left by Biden.
This is only the first week of the President in office. These polls are completely meaningless.
And in fact there was this:
CNN Data Guru Stunned byTrump's Approval Shift from Eight Years Ago
From Yahoo News:
"The American people really like what they’re seeing, at least compared to where Donald Trump started eight years ago," Enten told anchor Kate Bolduan on Friday's edition of CNN News Central.
Enten shared a Reuters/Ipsos poll taken this week which found more Americans approve of Trump's presidency now than they did when he entered office in 2017.
Trump started his first term with a net negative approval rating at -3 points, Enten said, but Trump now stands at a +6 net approval rating, up nine points from January 2017.
Cnn Data Guru Marvels At Trump Making Biggest Electoral Gains In Over 30 Years: Trump ‘Breaks History’
"To borrow a Donald Trump phrase, this is big league," he remarked.
Read On The Fox News App
Trump is not just doing better with Americans than he was in January 2017, Enten said; his approval ratings are higher now than they were throughout his first term.
Previously, Trump's highest ever net approval rating was +3 points in March 2017, according to Enton.
"He’s in a better position than he was at any point during his entire first term," the reporter remarked. "Things have very much turned around."
Yet now they are telling us he's dropped and is worse than ever! This is just gaslighting.
I would remind everyone that Ronald Reagan, now beloved, never had more than niggling approval numbers.
FTA:
Reagan has done far better in retrospect, as can happen as ex-presidents recede from the fray of day-to-day politics. Asked to think back to when he served, 66 percent in an ABC News/Washington Post poll in 2001 approved of his work, as did still more, 73 percent, in a 2002 Gallup poll. (Jimmy Carter's retrospective rating did the same thing, rising 20 points in the two decades after he left office.)
Reagan's personal ratings also have improved with time. During his presidency an average of 61 percent of Americans reported an overall favorable impression of him, about the same as the career favorable rating for his successor, the first President Bush (63 percent). By 2001, though, more— 69 percent — viewed Reagan favorably.
Reagan's ratings while in office rose and fell sharply with events. Approval peaked at 73 percent after he was wounded in a March 1981 assassination attempt, but tumbled to 42 percent in the early '80s recessions (unemployment hit a 40-year high in 1982). It recovered to 70 percent in early 1986 as the economy improved, but then dived by 26 points in nine months during the Iran-Contra scandal."
Yet he slaughtered both of his opponents for President and few Democrats dared buck him, much less Republicans. Now why is that?
Because these polling numbers are total nonsense and always have been. The real polls, the internals run by campaigns, show a very different situation than what we hoi poloi are given by the media.
Trump is a titan right now and the Ruling Class knows it. This is an attempt at gaslighting.
They've been gaslighting us for years now, to the point where it has become obvious. They still believe they have the power to make us believe anything they want but we've gotten wise to them.

Catholic Charities has been busted helping illegal aliens get into the country and dodge immigration officials.
According to the article:
"Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of Milwaukee have been caught aiding illegal immigrants in evading President Donald Trump’s deportation efforts by advising them how to avoid cooperating with U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).
A recent video showed immigration attorney Barbara Graham outlining tactics for migrants to thwart lawful investigations by authorities.
"Do not panic, and do not run away. If you are frightened and feel like you need to leave, you can calmly walk toward the exit,” Graham advises in the video.
Graham also advises migrants to ask if they are free to leave and, if told no, to remain silent and refuse to answer questions, such as how they entered the U.S. and where they were born.
The video also advises migrants to refuse to show identification or sign paperwork without requesting a pro bono attorney."
End
It's time to re-evaluate Catholic Charities 501c3 exemptions. They have been at the forefront of bringing in the illegals, up to and including helping to feed these giant caravans.
Any NGO that tries pulling this needs to lose their tax-exempt status and have possibly face prosecution.
Not only is Catholic Charities and the U.S. Council of Catholic Bishops tax exempt but they receive billions in funding from taxpayers to resettle refugees.
Maybe we should resettle them. How about exiling the Bishops to, say, Venezuela?

If we needed more proof that all of the advocacy groups that form the Democrat coalition are not interested in actually promoting their members into the mainstream of society, this is it.
The Rainbow Lobby remains silent on Trump's chief of a homosexual for Treasury Secretary.
See, it's not enough that they move forward - it's that they move Leftward.

I said we should send the illegals to Gitmo years ago!
Trump to Reopen Guantanamo Bay with 30,000 Beds for ‘Illegal Migrants’
Jimmy Carter did this after being overrun by Cubans during the Mariel boatlift. He banished them to Guantanamo and it slowed the stream of criminals. This is a perfectly sensible move to make.
Trump issued the following statement:
"Today I’m also signing an Executive Order to instruct the Departments of Defense and Homeland Security to begin preparing the 30,000-person migrant facility at Guantanamo Bay — most people don’t even know about it.
We have 30,000 beds in Guantanamo to detain the worst criminal illegal aliens threatening the American people.
Some of them are so bad we don’t even trust the [home] countries to hold them because we don’t want them coming back, so we’re going to send them out to Guantanamo.
This will double our capacity immediately, right? … It’s a tough place to get out of.
Today’s signings bring us one step closer to eradicating the scourge of migrant crime in our communities, once and for all. And it was … just an unforced error that we even have to be doing this.
Now we need Congress to provide full funding for the complete and total restoration of our sovereign borders, as well as financial support to remove record numbers of illegal aliens.”

A county Democratic Party chair called for Trump supporters to "be hanged by the neck until dead" and called ICE "nazi collaborators".
This was in a Facebook post that was later removed. But the author - one Bill Swift, chairman of the Lenawee County Democratic Party - doubled down on it on a radio interview, saying the post was removed to protect him and others from retribution by Trump and he describing it as "outlining a very rational argument” and accused Trump and his supporters of promoting Nazi ideologies.
This is the Democratic Party today.
What did the Media tell us? What did they say about Trump's rhetoric and how it fanned the flames of violence? I seem to remember them saying this repeatedly. Yet they yawn at such comments from their own favored side.
This idiot also doubled down on claims Elon Musk did a Nazi salute, despite photographic evidence that should have laid this lie to rest.
I rather doubt this guy has a clue as to what Naziism is, what it stood for. A Nazi to the Left is anyone who opposes them.
How did America fill up with such insane people?
Swift (related to Adam, perhaps?) also claimed America was now "fascist Nazi billionaire oligarchy.”
Again, he doesn't know what Fascism is, and he ignores the multiple billionaires who funded the Democrats over the last generation (like George Soros, Tom Steyer, Mark Zuckerberg, Jeff Bezos, the man who got the Freedom Medal from Biden, George Soros, Bill Gates, and a host of others.) He didn't complain when they were writing the checks to the DNC. Hell; he didn't complain when DONALD TRUMP was writing those checks.
Democrats are certainly fascistic, and are Nazi except they flipped the races over.
National Review's Jonah Goldberg wrote a best-seller about this matter where he illustrated how so many of the modern Democratic policies were held by the Third Reich and Mussolini. My friend Mark Musser wrote "Nazi Oaks" aka "Nazi Ecology" about how the Nazis were riddled with their own "green movement" at the time.
The Nazis believed in so many positions held by the Democrats. Part of the Holocaust was because they loved the German forests (and locked up lots of land to protect them) and saw Jews as an "invasive species" who needed to be eradicated (much like modern environmentalists who want to "uproot" the invasive species of Man). They believed in big public works programs. They believed in government regulation of the economy, including wage and price controls. They believed in a monetary policy involving high inflation. They believed in strong labor unions (yes, the Nazis purged many unions, but that was only to create a strong labor system.) They disliked Christianity and hated Judaism and wanted to restrict both. In fact the Germans were going to execute the Pope at one point. They were monists who believed government should be involved in every aspect of life. They were big into public health. They were obsessed with race. They sought to fundamentally alter the human condition through a radical realignment of the social order. While trying to claim they were for the common man they made a huge appeal to the plutocrats and very wealthy.
While a bit more prudish than the Democrats the Nazis still had a strong homosexual wing - the head of the SA - Ernst Rohm - was a homosexual, for example. Nazi suppression of homosexuals was largely of the effeminate types, whom Hitler thought were tied to Marxists. The Nazis were fine with the butch types.
That is why they were called "National Socialists". It was a variation on socialism. It's intellectual roots go back to Jean Jacques Rousseau, same as does communism.
And in fact the Bolsheviks realized that. They saw Fascism as an intermediate stage between Capitalism and Socialism.
Read Mussolini's The Doctrine of Fascismto understand it better.
Here are some quotes:
"If the bourgeoisie," I said then, "think that they will find lightning-conductors in us, they are the more deceived"
"We shall combat every retrograde idea, technical or spiritual"
"We must make haste; when the present regime breaks down, we must be ready at once to take its place. It is we who have the right to the succession, because it was we who forced the country into the War"
"Fascism is now a completely individual thing, not only as a regime, but as a doctrine. And this means that today Fascism, exercising its critical sense upon itself and upon others, has formed its own distinct and peculiar point of view, to which it can refer and upon which, therefore, it can act in the face of all problems, practical or intellectual"
"Thus a doctrine which is founded upon this harmful postulate of peace is hostile to Fascism. "
"Of such gigantic importance is the State. It is the force which alone can provide a solution to the dramatic contradictions of capitalism, and that state of affairs which we call the crisis can only be dealt with by the State, as between other States.... Fascism desires the State to be a strong and organic body, at the same time reposing upon broad and popular support.
The Fascist State has drawn into itself even the economic activities of the nation, and, through the corporative social and educational institutions created by it, its influence reaches every aspect of the national life and includes, framed in their respective organizations, all the political, economic and spiritual forces of the nation. "
You get the point.
Mussolini described Fascism as "totalitarian" and by that he meant the state would be intimately entwined in every aspect of life.
Part of that would be the mixing of roles as we've seen from leftists over the years. Obama gave NASA a new mission, for instance, to do Muslim outreach. Before that they got heavily involved in climate science, but not in the satellite data but in surface stations. What do either of those have to do with a space exploration agency?
We've seen this kind of corrupting and twisting of roles in the past under Democrats and it's roots are in the Fascist worldview.
I could go on but the point is made. This idiot doesn't know a thing about Fascism or Naziism. BTW,who is it who is winding the wars DOWN rather than promoting them?
And who killed political enemies, or imprisoned them? Who sought to censor free speech? Who had a ministry to "reframe" things?
If he wants to see Fascists he should look in the morror.

Donald Trump specifically ordered ALL J6 political prisoners be released. All of them. Yet this special forces soldier still rots in a cell.
Master sergeant Jeremy Brown of South Florida was arrested on weapons charges and remains incarcerated despite the blanket pardon given to everyone at the Capitol that day.
There are other "left behind" defendants who remain in custody.
This is disgraceful and the authorities involved should be punished, up to and including the loss of law licenses.

Surely something can be done about this partisan hack:
AG Letitia James Strikes Again—Sues Trump to Protect Woke Financial Backing [WATCH]
Of course this article was written before Trump paused the pause, so any lawsuit would be in limbo. But something has to be done about this lawless, hate-filled woman.
The article states:
"James quickly condemned the administration’s move, calling it "reckless and dangerous.”
In a post on X (formerly Twitter) on Monday, she wrote, "Programs in communities across the entire nation depend on this funding to support our families, and this action is only going to hurt them.”'
Didn't it ever occur to her that the Federal government's job is not to support ne'er do wells? I don't see that mentioned anywhere in the U.S. constitution under enumerated powers.
We've built a hammock out of our social safety net.
I have little doubt she has a skeleton or two in her closet. Why aren't Republicans digging into her dealings?

A brilliant idea!
Trump offers buyouts to all federal employees - USA Today
This buyout is expected to trim 10-15% of the Federal workforce with a savings of over a hundred billion dollars.
While most of these people will continue to vote Democrat they will at least stop being in a position to waste taxpayer dollars and to subvert the country.
And of course Trump can make it, uh, unpleasant for the big leftists to stay in place. Force them out!
This is how a businessman runs a government.

Very good question:
More Than 75,000 Trafficked Children in a Week, so Why Couldn’t Traitor Joe Locate Any of Them?
child trafficking is the most vile and evil crime imaginable. Strange how the Biden Administration was completely unconcerned about it.
Democrats whine about "separating families" when we put them in detention, yet are unconcerned about separating them so the children can be raped every day and forced into slavery - sexual or otherwise. That appears to not matter much to them.
Now we must ask what we will do with these poor kids. Returning them home would be cruel; they had parents who cared so little for them they sent them north unaccompanied, or their parents were unable to protect them. Either way provisions must be made for them. I am a huge opponent of all immigration these days (even legal because we just have taken in way too many) but what of the kids? We have to take them in and put them up for adoption.
We should start a MAGA adoption service to place these poor children. Place 'em with MAGA folks and make them Americans.
Biden and his ilk let this happen; without allowing people easy entry the Cartels and other people smugglers wouldn't have trafficked these kids.
A nation may be judged on how it treats it's most vulnerable. These may not be OUR vulnerable but they are vulnerable. What kind of people don't bother to find enslaved children? If there was ever a reason to reject the Ruling Class it is this.
God punished places for less.

The babies are having tantrums.
Government official refuses to comply after getting fired by Trump and has to be physically escorted out by security: Report
This reminds me of just after the Civil War when Edwin Stanton refused to leave office after being removed by Andrew Johnson and he barricaded himself into his office. A two week seige ended with Stanton waiving a little white flag and surrendering.
What a bunch of babies!
FTA:
The report said that Phyllis Fong was escorted by security agents, according to sourceswho spoke to Reuters. Fong had reportedly told people that she was not going to leave because she believed the administration did not follow the proper protocols in ordering her to be fired.
The USDA investigates food safety and has recently been spearheading government action on the spread of bird flu.
A memo written by Fong explained to colleagues that the Council of the Inspectors General on Integrity and Efficiency "has taken the position that these termination notices do not comply with the requirements set out in law and therefore are not effective at this time.”
Fong was a 22-year veteran of the department.
She was fired along with 16 other government watchdogs on Friday. The White House defended the firings in a brief statement.
"These rogue, partisan bureaucrats," the statement said, "have been relieved of their duties in order to make room for qualified individuals who will uphold the rule of law and protect Democracy."
On Monday, a statement from the House Committee on Education and Workforce accused Fong of looking the other way as fraud siphoned away taxpayer money.

Here we go.
Matthew Huttle, who served six months in prison for his attending the January 6 self-guided Capitol tour, was shot to death by police in Indian in a traffic stop incident.
This mirrors what has happened to those who slipped out of the clutches of the Deep State in bygone days. Take the "White Hispanic" George Zimmerman after he was charged with murder for kiling Trayvon Martin, a man who was on top of him and beating him senseless. Zimmerman was hounded by the authorities ever after, being arrested several times on trumped up charges. Or Officer Darren Wilson, who shot the "Gentle Giant" Mike Brown in Ferguson. I think he's a mall cop in Nome Alaska these days.
The Deep State punishes those they first abused. You are supposed to take it and like it.
The article states ""The investigation also shows that during the traffic stop, the suspect was in possession of a firearm,” state police added."
He was pardoned; he can legally carry a firearm. Not sure of Indiana state law but I suspect he was within his Constitutional rights.
While it seems abit far-fetched to think a local sheriff's deputy would be in on it, we know that there are Democrats who would do it without being formally recruited. And who knows; maybe he was paid money by someone? It may be they knew Huttle would be passing through that way.
I don't know but it sure smells to me.

Denmark is getting desperate. Terrified of Trump's threats to take the enormous island of Greenland (which is actually a subcontinent) they are beefing up their military presence there by $2.05 billion.
What's the point? Not to deter us militarily, obviously; we'd wipe Danish defenses away in minutes. It's to provide Trump with a fait-accompli, to show they are fully cooperating with the u.S. and willing to defend the island.
Look what Trump can do just by running his mouth!

The Deep State has deep tentacles indeed.
Blaze News original: FBI whistleblower warns Patel: DEI rot at FBI deeper than you can imagine
The article states:
The OEEOA may be a separate entity from the ODI, but the newcomers at the OEEOA may find their colleagues amenable to their previous DEI advocacy. A memo regarding job openings at the FBI, issued on an unknown date, claimed that the OEEOA's mission, in order "to ensure the fair and impartial administration of justice for all Americans, the Department of Justice is committed to fostering a diverse and inclusive work environment."
Then, in an EEO-related policy statement, which is also undated, the FBI noted the "diverse" nature of the American citizenry. "Consistent with the FBI’s Core Values, and just as the FBI is committed to serving every United States citizen regardless of race, gender, ethnicity, or any other protected basis," the statement continued. "
I have little doubt these people just went to ground for a short time to operate in the shadows until Trump was taken down or leaves office. Leftists are good at doing that.
Trump had better take the threat of the FBI seriously. They led the charge against him in the past and these same people remain.

We know it's true.
James Comer: ‘We Have Evidence Banks Are De-Banking Conservatives’
FTA:
"Yes, we are. We’ve heard numerous instances of conservatives being debanked and what we want to know is this a process of the bank’s ESG policy, or is this our government stepping in like what we found with Twitter and Facebook, where the government stepped in and said they wanted certain conservatives deplatformed and censored,” Comer said.
"We want to know again, is this is the government involvement another dirty trick by the Joe Biden administration, or is this just bad liberal policy that discriminates against conservatives by the bank,” Comer continued.
"So, you have evidence of some banks debanking conservatives?” Bartiromo asked.
"Yes, especially people that were involved in different energy type businesses and things like that, as well as very well spoken, outspoken conservative activists, so, there are numerous instances, enough to open an investigation,” Comer continued.

The firing of Inspector Generals was entirely proper and standard operating procedure.
This article from the Blaze explains:
The website further adds that "both houses of Congress must be notified if an IG is removed by the President or an agency head," though the statute notes that the notification must come no "later than 30 days before the removal." That stipulation regarding congressional notification was added to the Inspector General Act in 2022.
'The Inspectors General ... are simple members of the executive branch agencies. Even if Congress attempts to place conditions on their removal, those conditions are unconstitutional.'
Liberals have since bewailed the so-called "Friday night massacre" of IGs.
Yes, there is that matter of notifying Congress no later than 30 days before the removal. But one law professor deals with it:
"President Trump is well within his power to remove members of the executive branch at will. In Seila Law v. CFPB (2020), the Supreme Court held that Congress could not protect officers of the United States from removal by the President. ... In Seila Law, the Court said that the only officers that Congress might be able to protect are those that are members of multi-body commissions, like the FCC or the SEC," Yoo said, according to Newsweek.
"The Inspectors General do not have that status; they are simple members of the executive branch agencies. Even if Congress attempts to place conditions on their removal, those conditions are unconstitutional. Any Inspector General that attempts to challenge their removal in court — they would still have to leave office and just sue for back pay — will be wasting their money in lawyers fees."
These are not advice and consent positions but staffers.
Anyone remember Bill Clinton firing all the U.S. atttorneys when he first took office? No? The media doesn't like to discuss that. But he did it, and Obama did much the same when he took power. These were U.S. Attorneys, who actually could bring charges against people, and not merely I.G.s whose total authority is to advise the President so as to manage his own branch of government better.
The same people howling for Trump's head over this were the same folks who said it was just fine when Clinton fired the attorneys.
Another point - ever heard of the Tenure of Office Act?
The Tenure of Office act was a nasty little party favor from the Civil War. Since Lincoln had appointed a Southern Democrat as his Vice President and tthat man - Andrew Johnson - assumed the office of President upon Lincoln's assassination Congress passed the TOOA to control him. It said the President could not fire anybody appointed by the previous president in the event of assassination. The idea was Johnson was stuck with Lincoln's people like it or not.
It all came to a head when he was forced to fire Sec. State Edwin Stanton. Stanton simply refused to leave and he actually barricaded himself in his office and had to be removed by a seige! This was the primary article of impeachment against Johnson (the other 19 were all throwaways. For instance they said he was drunk at his inaugural - something not illegal - but in fact Johnson didn't drink but was a bit loopy because his doctors gave him cough medicine.)
Anyway Congress repealed the Tenure of Office Act in 1883,and it was declared unconstitutional in Myers v. United States (1926). It took so long because it was only enforced the one time -against Johnson.
The point is this law is essentially an updated version of the Tenure of Office Act. The Courts have already spoken.
Trump had every right to do what he did and Congress can suck on it.
Of course some liberal group will file suit and eventtually lose but they can make hay while the sun is shining. Their inevitable loss will be buried on page eight of the newspaper. All that will matter will be the fact of a legal challenge and the media hysterically calling for impeachment for breaking the law.

US Passed Secret Intelligence To AQ-Linked Rulers Of Syria: WaPo
From the article:
Hayʼat Tahrir al-Sham (HTS), which rules Syria from Damascus under Jolani, is still a designated Foreign Terrorist Organization under US law. The only change which happened at the end of the Biden administration was that the US $10 million bounty on Jolani's head was removed, at a moment Western officials have engaged the new regime in Damascus on a diplomatic level.
But The Washington Post has just revealed that American intelligence officials met with HTS representatives and passed them classified intelligence information. This happened during the tail-end of the Biden White House.
The Washington Post report begins, "In the chaotic days after the fall of [Bashar] al-Assad, the Biden administration began to engage cautiously with HTS and its leader, Abu Mohammed al-Julani."
"The intelligence exchange with HTS has occurred in direct encounters between US intelligence officials and representatives of HTS, rather than via third parties." The Post continues.
The report adds that this "has involved exchanges between the two sides, in Syria and a third country. It began roughly two weeks after HTS came to power on Dec. 8."
This is being presented by US officials as to combat threats being presented by a resurgent ISIS. For example, there have been recent reported plots against a key Shia religious pilgrimage site on the outskirts of Damascus, the Sayyidah Zaynab Mosque.
"In at least one case, the U.S. intelligence helped thwart an ISIS plot to attack a religious shrine outside Damascus earlier this month, according to the officials," the WaPo report says.
The serious contradiction in all of this is that American companies and citizens are still unable to do business or any interactions with Syrian entities under US counterterrorism laws and due to the long-existent sanctions. And yet, US intelligence is passing on classified information to Syrian leaders despite the terror designation and ongoing sanctions.
The other glaring contradiction is that the separation between HTS and ISIS ideology is thin and slim. Jolani himself was once the personal emissary of ISIS chief pf Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi in the early days of the anti-Assad war for regime change.
AntiWar.com has written the following review:
HTS grew out of the al-Nusra Front, an organization that Julani formed in 2009 in coordination with al-Qaeda’s central leadership. Juliani is a veteran of the Iraq War, where he fought for al-Qaeda in Iraq against US forces.
Even with this background, the Biden administration elected to try to develop ties with Julani. "It’s the right, prudent and appropriate thing to do, given that there was credible, specific information [about ISIS threats], and coupled with our efforts to cultivate a relationship with these guys,” one former US official told The Post.
