Trump has Low Poll Numbers?
So, the same 538 that told us Trump would lose the election is now saying he's wildly unpopular. And based on a selection of media polls. Ri-ight.
This article claims the public hates withdrawing from the Paris Accord, hates his plan to deport aliens, and hates his pardoning of the J6 tourists.
Odd.Rasmussen has a 57% approval rating on immigration raids, for instance.
The fact remains that Trump won't get good polling numbers now any way you look at it; results are what will matter. Most of these polls are heavily weighted to Democrats anyway, and this coming in a time of a sour national mood as everything costs a fortune and we have to rebuild from the ruins left by Biden.
This is only the first week of the President in office. These polls are completely meaningless.
And in fact there was this:

From Yahoo News:
Yet now they are telling us he's dropped and is worse than ever! This is just gaslighting.
I would remind everyone that Ronald Reagan, now beloved, never had more than niggling approval numbers.
FTA:
Yet he slaughtered both of his opponents for President and few Democrats dared buck him, much less Republicans. Now why is that?
Because these polling numbers are total nonsense and always have been. The real polls, the internals run by campaigns, show a very different situation than what we hoi poloi are given by the media.
Trump is a titan right now and the Ruling Class knows it. This is an attempt at gaslighting.
They've been gaslighting us for years now, to the point where it has become obvious. They still believe they have the power to make us believe anything they want but we've gotten wise to them.

Now the media is just being ridiculous!
Once again, Trump starts a term with a weak approval rating
Everything Trump has done has been wildly popular and the Democrats are completely cowed - why would they be cowed, why would they not be resisting but rather joining Trump, if he's so unpopular?
FTA:
"Today, 538 is unveiling a new polling average for President Donald Trump's job approval rating. Based on the 11 polls released since his inauguration on Jan. 20, Trump's average approval rating starts off at 50 percent, while 43 percent disapprove of the job he is doing as president. You can find a constantly updated estimate of Trump's approval rating on 538's polls page, and you can read our full methodology for calculating this average here.
Trump's initial net approval rating of +7 percentage points is lower than that of any newly elected president since World War II, with one exception: Trump himself during his first term. Trump began his presidency in 2017 with a 44.6 percent approval rating and a 41.4 percent disapproval rating, based on applying our current averaging methodology retroactively. Before that, the record low for initial net approval rating was set by former President George W. Bush in 2001, at +28 points. However, former President Joe Biden started his first term at +22 in 2021."

CNN Data Guru Stunned byTrump's Approval Shift from Eight Years Ago
From Yahoo News:
"CNN senior data reporter Harry Enten broke down the data showing how President Donald Trump has made a historic comeback in his favorability ratings since entering the White House this week.
"The American people really like what they’re seeing, at least compared to where Donald Trump started eight years ago," Enten told anchor Kate Bolduan on Friday's edition of CNN News Central.
Enten shared a Reuters/Ipsos poll taken this week which found more Americans approve of Trump's presidency now than they did when he entered office in 2017.
Trump started his first term with a net negative approval rating at -3 points, Enten said, but Trump now stands at a +6 net approval rating, up nine points from January 2017.

Trump is not just doing better with Americans than he was in January 2017, Enten said; his approval ratings are higher now than they were throughout his first term.
Previously, Trump's highest ever net approval rating was +3 points in March 2017, according to Enton.
"He’s in a better position than he was at any point during his entire first term," the reporter remarked. "Things have very much turned around."

FTA:
"His job approval ratings, in fact, were mid-tier. Across his tenure an average of 57 percent of Americans approved of Reagan's work as president, tied with Bill Clinton and within a point of Lyndon Johnson. Among postwar presidents, John F. Kennedy, Dwight Eisenhower and George H.W. Bush all ran better averages, and George W. Bush has averaged better to date, despite his current slump.
Reagan has done far better in retrospect, as can happen as ex-presidents recede from the fray of day-to-day politics. Asked to think back to when he served, 66 percent in an ABC News/Washington Post poll in 2001 approved of his work, as did still more, 73 percent, in a 2002 Gallup poll. (Jimmy Carter's retrospective rating did the same thing, rising 20 points in the two decades after he left office.)
Reagan's personal ratings also have improved with time. During his presidency an average of 61 percent of Americans reported an overall favorable impression of him, about the same as the career favorable rating for his successor, the first President Bush (63 percent). By 2001, though, more— 69 percent — viewed Reagan favorably.
Reagan's ratings while in office rose and fell sharply with events. Approval peaked at 73 percent after he was wounded in a March 1981 assassination attempt, but tumbled to 42 percent in the early '80s recessions (unemployment hit a 40-year high in 1982). It recovered to 70 percent in early 1986 as the economy improved, but then dived by 26 points in nine months during the Iran-Contra scandal."
