What, Me Worried?

Nuclear fission and nuclear fusion are the natural counterparts in Nature to power Life and produce the Elements which comprise our Universe.

Since the earliest work of Paul Kuroda (1956) , Oklo Gabon (1972) and J. Marvin Herndon (early 1990s) it is known that fission occurs naturally. Getting these heavy fissile Actinides together is very, very easy.

The Actinides (Th, U, etc.) are not only the most massive, dense elements, they are also the most electropositive . Loaded with protons. Very strong electromagnetic properties. Uranium trihydride is magnetic below 180 K and paramagnetic above 180 K. It is so damn easy to concentrate these heavy guys. Combining density, electromagnetis m, and the high surface tension properties of eutectic metal mixtures. Surface tension is what causes water to bead up and dew drops to coalesce. Such surface tension properties are even more pronounced with metal eutectics (molten metal mixtures). As heavy radioactive materials coalesced and warmed from decay the radioactive metal became semi-molten gummy balls, inviting greater accumulation.

The GeoReactor powers the Earth’s geomagnetic field. Inverse beta decay from fission emits a steady stream of electrons flooding out into the conductive metals surrounding the Nickel Silicide Inner Core. Any time a charged particle moves it generates a magnetic field. The electrons from inverse beta decay only act as a "seed” or exciter field. Once so enabled, the magnetic field generator is self-sustaining . The "seeding” mechanism allows the Earth to re-boot the magnetic field following a pole reversal. Planetary rotation spins up the generator. Therefore, we have a sustained magnetic field and pole reversals are very temporary perturbations.

The solar wind streams out across our geomagnetic field and distorts it into a teardrop shape. This magnetic field distortion induces Ohmic heating at the core of the planet and contributes to the interior heat of the Earth.

A fission trigger ignited our Sun as a massive Hydrogen Bomb. Residual Actinides which escaped the initial detonation had been stripped of their electrons and the Actinides are very unhappy in the plasma state. They set about to recover their electrons by swimming topside, taking billions of years to arrive at the surface of the Sun.

The electrons had fled topside. The Actinides grabbed what they could to refill their electron shells and drop out of plasma state.

There is an inverse relationship between criticality and temperature. Elevated temperature suppresses criticality. As the Actinides percolate upward and coalesce into eutectic droplets they concentrate. When these droplets approach the surface and cool, they become critical and detonate as an Atomic Bomb. Sun spots are bomb craters. Solar flares and coronal mass ejections give off electromagnetic pulses which reinforce the distortion of the Earth’s geomagnetic field and more Ohmic heating.

In essence, our Sun is a delayed fission boost device. The Tsar Bomba. Look it up.

Now then, we have the solution to the Faint Young Sun Paradox, wherein it took approx. 4 billion years for the Sun to reach its current luminosity. In the earlier years, it was only about 70 % as luminous as today as Actinides were swimming upward and the Earth should have been frozen solid with no liquid water to allow the earliest photosynthetic Life to form. The internal heat of the Earth maintained liquid water on the surface while radiation came into full development to meet the requirements of photosynthesis.

Cyanobacteria formed approx. 3.5 billion years ago. Anaerobic life formed about 4.2 billion years ago, when we had methane and metal sulfides spewing from hydrothermal vents. Anaerobic life utilizes sulfur reduction.

There were no trees making methane, nor the longer chain biochemicals (oil) to form anaerobic life. Abiotic hydrocarbons were produced by Abiotic sources — Serpentinizatio n, Fischer-Tropsch and Sabatier reactions. Porous sandstone on the inland seas of West Texas was the catalyst support and alumina was the active catalyst to provide for Sabatier reactions (methanation of CO2). Hydrogen and CO2-laden brines washed thru the porous fixed catalyst bed of sandstone. Sodium sulfates in the brines served as detergents to wash the petroleum out of the catalyst bed. The exothermic heat of reaction warms the brines and provides thermal circulation of the reaction stream. Exiting the sandstone formation, the oil and water separate with the oil floating upwards and trapped beneath the salt dome of the Permian Basin. The brine continues to circulate by convective forces.
