"Come on, Man!" I read that series cover-to-cover at least three times and found nothing about climate, changing or otherwise.

Oddly enough I've never read it Dana. I've seen the movies though.
From what I can see climate change isn't mentioned.
Tolkien was a Christian writer and "climate change" is a pagan concept.

Correct. I haven't read the book in years, so my memory of them is spotty at this time, but I remember only one weather event, and it was magically-generated: a snowstorm aimed at preventing "the good guys" from scaling a mountain. When they finally gave up, the storm ceased so they could go back down.
