They Have a Beef with Australia's Diet

Diane M. Kimura

Aussies better give this disasterous totalitarian "advice" a hard pass and a middle finger salute.

===========================

"Australians will need to cut back on red meat and ditch petrol cars for electric vehicles in order to reach net zero emissions by 2050, according to the government agency advising Anthony Albanese on the target.

In a new report released on Wednesday, the Climate Change Authority suggests a series of lifestyle changes to get Australia to net zero.

The Authority has suggested Aussies swap red meat like beef and lamb for more emission-friendly options like kangaroo, chicken, and pork.

The advice comes after the Climate Council found that agriculture was responsible for over half of Australia's methane emissions in 2022-23.

It found that nearly 65 percent of climate pollution came from methane emitted by cattle, like cows and sheep as they digested their food.

The council estimates the industry is responsible for around 18 percent of Australia's total emissions, primarily from livestock farming.

Australians told to cut back on beef to save world from climate change

A slova from Tim:

Pork not a net emitter of methane and CO2??? Have those imbeciles never seen Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome? Pigs are huge emitters of greenhouse gases. They exempted pork because they want to get the public to agree to these changes, then they will come down on pig meat too and demand the public eat bugs. This has always been about Westerners living too well for their tastes.

Energy and the Third World

John Swallow

This farce is explained by this comment; "This ambition has many enthusiasts for nature-based solutions to climate change excited. "We urgently need flows of funds channeled into developing countries,” Charlotte Streck of Climate Focus, a Dutch-based international consultancy on climate finance, told Yale Environment 360." What needs to be channeled into developing countries to save the forest is cheap and reliable fuels so that these people can cook their meals with something other than charcoal.
This is the kind of world that fools that think that they can change how forest are protected at a phony UN climate change convention, known as COP26, have no idea what is happening in the world that they know nothing about, the real one. The attendees are too stupid to understand the Haitian forest have been cut down to make charcoal because, lacking gas, they must use charcoal to cook with. The delegates to this dog and pony show in Glasgow, and the rest of the ghoulish alarmist, are all heart, aren’t they? Who would need a world full of these ignorant idiots running around being happy that now there is a decline in the use of fossil fuels? NO ONE, is the short answer.

The Environment and Poverty in Haiti
BY RICHARD BLINNE, ON JANUARY 22ND, 2010

This picture illustrates the extreme deforestation of Haiti. You can literally see the border between Haiti and the Dominican Republic from space. How and why did this happen and what are its effects? Haiti is one of the most deforested countries in the World with only 2% forestation. The reason why it's that way is because the trees have been cut down for fuel and specifically to make charcoal because it's one of the few commodities that can be sold to get the essentials of life. Haiti is the poorest country in the Western Hemisphere.

The Lie of Lower Crime

Timothy Birdnow

Violent crime coming down my a, er,eye!

David Muir lied, or didn't bother to actually ascertain the truth, in his "ract check" of Trump.

The big Blue cities stopped reporting  crimes, especially violent crimes, to the FBI in 2020 and haven't bothered since.

https://issuesinsights.com/2024/09/17/the-medias-criminal-misreporting-on-crime/

‘President Trump, as you know, the FBI says overall violent crime is coming down in this country.”

That was ABC News’ David Muir "fact checking” Donald Trump during his debate with Kamala Harris.

Two days later, the Bureau of Justice Statistics released the results of its national crime victimization survey, which showed that the number of victims of violent crime was 41% higher in 2023 than in 2020.

There were almost 170,000 more rapes, 300,000 more robberies, 1.4 million more assaults, 300,000 more claims of domestic violence, and almost 400,000 more crimes with a violent weapon.

Sea Level Rise?

Timothy Birdnow

If it is true that sea levels are rising faster than Bill Clinton while playing naked Twister with a bunch of Playboy Bunnies, then why is beachfront property being purchased by the wealthy and by big corporations that ought to know

From Just Facts:

PBS News claims that "by 2100, scientists project sea levels around parts of Florida will rise between two and eight feet,” submerging large parts of the state.

IN FACT, climate alarmists have been making such predictions for more than 30 years, and they have turned out to be categorically false:

• In 1989, a senior U.N. official projected that "entire nations could be wiped off the face of the Earth by rising sea levels if the global warming trend is not reversed by the year 2000.” Since then, Earth’s land area grew by about 22,400 square miles.

• In 1989, another senior UN official wrote that "sea-level rise as a consequence of global warming would immediately threaten that large fraction of the globe living at sea level.” Since then, Earth’s coastal land area grew by about 5,200 square miles.

• In 1992, Al Gore claimed that "up to 60% of the present population of Florida may have to be relocated” "not long after” the "next few decades” "because of the rising sea level, due to global warming.” Since then, the coastal population of Florida grew by 61%.

The examples above are just a few among dozens of such failed predictions.

E.U. to Impose DEI on American Companies - even in the U.S.

Timothy Birdnow

Europe is about to impose DEI on a titanic scale, and force American corporations to adhere to it or be fined - even in the United States.

American corporations have got to be willing to lose whole markets to stop being interfered with by socialists. If the E.U. demands this of, say, McDonalds the hamburger giants has to just pull out of Europe entirely. That is a huge economic loss to them, but in the end if they let the E.U. get away with this they will wind up being swallowed by the leviathan. Let's see how long the people of Europe tolerate the loss of McDonalds because of policies by their uber-government.

merican'
https://www.theblaze.com/shows/relatable/danger-ahead-europe-s-new-law-is-going-to-impact-every-single-american

While Americans have been focused on the election, the European Union has been in the process of passing a new law. It’s called the Corporate Sustainability Due Diligence Directive, and its reach will go far beyond European borders.

In fact, "It’s going to impact every single American,” Justin Haskins, author and editorial director of the Heartland Institute, tells Allie Beth Stuckey.

"Essentially, what it does is create ESG social credit scores for companies. ... These ESG scores are designed to transform the way companies operate, the kinds of products and services that they can sell, and then, by extension, transform societies around it,” Haskins explains.

So what does a company’s social credit score depend on?

Apparently, a variety of measures are used to determine a company’s credit score — things like "climate change,” "biodiversity,” "land and water use,” "social justice,” "LGBTQ” causes, and diversity in general.

"How diverse is your board of directors? How diverse is your management team? Like these are the kinds of things that are in these ESG scores,” says Haskins.

Even though the United States doesn’t have a social credit scoring law (most ESG initiatives exist in the private sector), Europe’s CSDDD will nonetheless hugely impact American businesses.

The law "applies to large companies that are based in the European Union” as well as "non-EU companies that do above a certain amount of revenue in the European Union, so for example Apple or McDonald's,” Haskins explains.

Further, these high-earning non-EU companies that fall under the jurisdiction of the CSDDD will be forced to adhere to its policies outside of the EU as well.

"It's not enough for them to change their policies in the EU; they have to change it in America. They have to change it everywhere they do business; that's what the law says, and if they don't, then they can be fined 5% of their total worldwide revenue, so for a company like Apple, if you do the math, that's $19 billion for one violation,” says Haskins, who predicts that "no one's going to violate this law because they can't afford to.”

If that wasn’t extreme enough, the law also applies to "almost all of the businesses that [companies under the CSDDD] work with in their supply chains, upstream and downstream, no matter where they're located or how much business those companies do in the EU.”

Haskins points to Ford as an example. Ford is an American company that does business in the EU and produces enough revenue to fall under the jurisdiction of the CSDDD.

Therefore, "All the businesses that [Ford does] business with in America are also doing these ESG scores,” he says, "so you could be a rubber manufacturer in Ohio that does no business in Europe, but you make rubber for Ford, so you also have to adhere to the EU rule, and Ford is going to be the one that imposes it on you through contractional insurances.”

Naturally, Ford will comply because if the company refuses, "then Ford gets fined 5% of their total worldwide revenue.”

"When you start playing out the ramifications of this, they’re enormous,” Haskins laments, adding that "through this [law], you can transform the entire country because you can transform hiring practices, business practices, the kinds of products that people sell and buy, the commitment to social justice goals,” etc.

Democrat War on Michigan

John F. Di Leo

There's talk about Michigan still being in play, and leftist pundits are baffled, because the Democrat power structure has done so much in Michigan to help the Harris-Walz ticket, particularly in the areas of enabling vote fraud efforts.

But it's not really all that hard to understand:

The Democratic party has spent the past 16 years working hard to destroy the auto industry in America.

No, that's not an exaggeration. Remember when Obama took over in 2008: his first step was Cash for Clunkers, which paid people to destroy perfectly functional used American cars and replace them with Japanese and Korean econoboxes. His next step was to literally take over the auto industry - forcing the sale of Chrysler to Italy and forcing a joint government-unio n takeover of GM. They've never been the same since.

The Obama and Biden regimes have pushed EVs to the point of virtually banning the internal combustion engine (some states have even gone so far as to do just that, at a quicker speed).

The American auto industry is built on the internal combustion engine.

The dirty little secret that the Democrats don't want said out loud is that destroying the internal combustion engine IS destroying the state of Michigan.

More than in any other state, Michigan's fortunes rise and fall with the automotive industry.

The Democrats declared war on the auto industry years ago, and so for all intents and purposes, the Democrats declared war on Michigan.

It's high time the voters of Michigan realized that the Republicans are their friends (we WANT a healthy auto industry in Michigan!) and the Democrats are their enemy.

As more and more voters do realize this undeniable fact, the GOP gets stronger. High time, too.

Paging Dr. Death

Timothy Birdnow

Here is a bit of good news. A bunch of Hezbollah fighters saw their last Jihad as the pagers they use to stay in contact with each-other exploded and killed 12 thug and wounded thousands more!

The Iranian backed terror group blamed Israel for what was obviously a coordinated attack on them.

Terrorists often use pagers to remain in contact since they cannot be tracked in the way cell phones can.

I was amazed by this; I had no idea that a pager could be made to explode that way.

At any rate Hezbollah vows revenge on Israel; instead of just trying to kill them they are going to really, really REALLY tryto kill them!

This illustrates the ingenuity of people under pressure. If necessity is the mother of invention one can argue Israel should lead the world in military capabilities.

The Root Cause

Greg Malakoff

After being told that Joe Biden is the sharpest president we've ever had and belongs on Mt Rushmore you would think a few democrat voters might suspect something peculiar going on. Consider their 8 years of being told that Trump was a Russian spy and then Mueller admitting that it was a 100% hoax that they deliberately made to ruin Trump. Not a word from the democrats with their false sense of moral superiority.

I could go on for a very long time about their pathological lying but to make my point for this more current story, if every leftist news organization is saying something is not happening, you can be sure it is. If you don't want to see a dog that was tortured and being roasted on a fire for dinner, I suggest you don't watch this sickening video. Perhaps this video is not from Springfield, Ohio, I really don't know, but I'm going to count on the medias manipulation and strong denials to believe that it is? It would be nice to get a lot more proof at this point.

So instead let's ponder something that is 100% accurate. The Views Sonny Hostein was saying yesterday how upset she was when she learned that maybe 20 million Americans were very enthused about murdering Trump. She is pretending to be shocked by that yet doesn't seem to be aware that she is the one that created that hatred with their non stop total lies. After she announced that it was not a good thing for everyone to want to murder Trump, she had her guest Lilly Collin's take the oath that they try and make every guest take and swear her allegiance to hating Trump. If they are repeating that there is a threat to our democracy 24/7, you can be sure that threat is them.

In Praise of Tariffs

A Greg Delany

At the foundation of America, there were no taxes. There were import tariffs.
If you want to restore America to her former glory. Remove taxes and replace them with tariffs again.
This way America will have to return to manufacturing at home or pay tariffs to import product that rich people and companies shipped overseas for cheaper labor.
This way we won't exploit the poor in other nations and we will become more self reliant.
THIS WILL ALSO FORCE POLITICIANS TO STOP ROBBING US AND PREVENT THEM FROM SPENDING MONEY THEY DID NOT EARN.

Another Assassination Attempt on Trump

Timothy Birdnow

Another day, another assassination attempt on Former President Trump.

This time it involved a sniper hiding in the bushes with a scope-cited rifle, attempting a 500 yard shot. Trump was doing some shooting himself on the golf course in south Florida at the time.

Ryan Routh, the alleged shooter, was seen aiming the rifle from the shrubs and fired upon by the Secret Service. Routh somehow managed to slip away (!) and made a getaway but not before some bystander happily saw him and took a photo of his vehicle and license plate (how fortuitous!). Police caught the would-be assassin without incident.

According to news reports, the shooter had an AK-47 with a scope, a mounted camera, and some ceramic tiles in a bag.

I'm no gun guy but isn't an AK-47 a poor long-range sniper weapon? Any gun people care to weigh in?

At any rate it disappointed Trump as he was even in his golf game and looking to finish the course strong, according to Fox News pundit Sean Hannity, to whom Trump sent a message.

Trump was said to be in good spirits after this second attempt to kill him:

"FEAR NOT! I am safe and well, and no one was hurt. Thank God!” Mr. Trump stated on his website.

"But, there are people in this world who will do whatever it takes to stop us. I will not stop fighting for you. I will Never Surrender.”

"I will always love you for supporting me,” the statement added. "Through our UNITY we will Make America Great Again.”

Apparently the shooter was a rabid Ukrainian supporter. Al Jazeera dishes:

US media named the suspect as Ryan Wesley Routh, 58, quoting law enforcement officials.

According to CNN and CBS, Routh was a self-employed affordable housing builder in Hawaii who regularly posted on politics and current events, including sometimes criticising Trump.

Public access to the suspect’s Facebook and X profiles was removed hours after the shooting, but he was reportedly active in calling for support for Ukraine in its efforts to defend against Russia’s invasion.

This year, the suspect had tagged US President Joe Biden on X, according to the Reuters news agency.

"@POTUS Your campaign should be called something like KADAF. Keep America democratic and free. Trumps should be MASA … make Americans slaves again master. DEMOCRACY is on the ballot and we cannot lose,” he posted.

Routh is reported to have travelled to Ukraine in 2022 to volunteer to fight. However, he was rejected due to his age and having no military experience.

What I found quite interesting was an FBI Agent interviewed on Scripps News last night. The Agent sung the praises of the Secret Service (and the House Republicans doing oversight have announced that blockbusters were going to come out about the Secret Service soon and so they need to varnish their image now) then went on to call on Trump to curtail his public appearances. He said that the lives of the Secret Service agents and the FBI were at risk because Trump keeps going out in public!

I guess he doesn't understand it's their jobs to keep Trump safe, like it or not. What this guy was calling for was for Trump to campaign less in the final days, basically, and setting it up so they can say "we told him he needed less exposure" when a bullet finally does reach Mr. Trump in a more serious spot than the ear.

Call me paranoid but I don't trust anything about this story. It's exactly what they would do if they needed something to raise their image. Find some dead-head, arrest him in a dramatic way and then bask in the glory. I'm going to be very interested in hearing what this guy has to say, assuming he doesn't hang himself in his jail cell, or get struck by a bolt of lightning, or whatnot.

I've warned for four years Trump would be assassinated if he looked to retake the White House and I see no reason to revise my opinion.

Remember, there were calls to deny Mr. Trump ANY Secret Service protection at all by Democrats.

And they admitted Trump wasn't given the full resources needed to keep him safe. For example, they denied his request for more security at events. Now there have been two attempts on his life.

The best you can say is that the media and Democrats have painted Donald Trump as the son of Satan and so why is anyone surprised at attempts to kill him? You would kill Hitler if you could, wouldn't you?

That is assuming it's not the three letter agencies behind it, something they do overseas all the time. We know the CIA and FBI tried to run a "color revolution" on Trump; with that failing assassination is the next logical step.

Of course they cannot be seen as being directly involved; the logical way to do it would be to clear a path for an amateur to act as fall guy.

This thing stinks and it's going to get a lot smellier if and when we learn more.

My prediction is we'll hear little about this and even less about the would-be assassin. He'll disappear and no journalist will try to interview him. Or he'll suffer an untimely end in prison, like Jeffrey Epstein.

BTW There was no mention of this story all evening on the local and national channels; one had to go to a cable news channel, especially Fox (which I don't get) to hear of this outside of the regular evening news. Now why do you suppose that is?

Make Sure Every Illicit Vote Doesn't Count

Michael Smith

Democrats pretend to be voting absolutists, screaming that "Every vote must count!" - while treating every attempt at securing the vote as "voter suppression."

Requiring an ID to buy beer or Actifed at your local grocery/ pharmacy is somehow not racist but requiring such confirmation to vote is. Sacrificing the convenience of mail-out/ mail-in ballots by casting votes on election day, in person, to assure integrity and accuracy is suppressing the vote, as is requiring people to correctly fill out their ballot and envelope, sign them properly and get them in before the deadline.

Liberal courts around the country have supported Democrats by saying, "The rules don't matter, count them all - even if they are unsigned and are a week late! Following the rules is a tool of white supremacy!"

Shouldn't be a big surprise - because the Democrats constantly pretend to be a lot of things they are not.

Look at Kamala Harris - she is pretending she hasn't been Biden's VP for four years and instead listens to Glenn Beck, owns a gun, and believes in the same policies as Donald Trump.

I happen to be a real voting absolutist, someone who does not want a single illicit vote to be cast, whether it be from dead people in Chicago, a Democrat "activist" who harvests ballots she has conveniently filled out and dumps them in a drop box, or random ballots that are returned past the deadline or absent a signature - or a signature that cannot be verified.

Why do I want that?

Because I don't want a single legal, legitimate vote - no matter for which party or candidate - to be cancelled by an illegal, illicit ballot.
