Judge Marchan won’t give the jury a written copy of the jury instructions. The jury instructions in the Trump trial are more than FIFTY PAGES LONG. That's right, fifty pages of legalese to guide the jurors through the labyrinth of the case. It's like reading a novella, but with more "heretofores" and "whereases." The jurors have to keep the instructions in their memory after hearing them read.
Tim adds:
Why did he do that? So he could hide the fact he was putting his thumb on the scale of justice. Plausible deniability when this thing gets overturned on appeal.

I'm writing this after the foul deed had been done. Folks, there is no more rule of law in these United (or is it now the Untied) States of America. No more! All of you be very careful and don't get yerself caught outside without your ID!

But as you say, the foul deed is now done and America is officially a Third World shithole. We have now crossed the Rubicon and this nation will never be the same.
You are right; the Rule of Law is dead. We now live in the Rule of Power; he who has it makes the rules.
I would have hoped for a major protest but everyone is terrified of peacefully protesting after what they have done to the J6 folks. That is exactly why they went after them so hard and the very thing tyrants do. Putin would have done nothing more.
We were once a nation blessed by God. Now it seems God has withdrawn His protection and the evil one is in control. And the Biden people, the media, the technocracy and the bureaucracy are running America. This won't end well.

If your eyes won't allow you to read the book, maybe Cathy can read it to you.

Anyone in your church you can approach? There's a woman in our church who'd do it for me in a minute (and who'd probably go farther than that if I'd let her) -- she's one of our lay readers. Do you have any of them you could approach? Lay readers, not horny women?
