The Religion of Politics

Fay Voshell

Politics has replaced traditional religion, but still borrows heavily from it.

Case in point is the hagiography being created by the Left even at this moment for Saint Ruth (Bader Ginsberg). Her miraculous longevity in face of the daunting odds; her complete and fiercely devoted commitment to the doctrines of the Left, so much so that even from what could potentially be her death bed, she still has enough divine energy to write yet another holy SCOTUS script for dispensation to true believers; the many devotees wishing and hoping (the equivalent of praying) she will live forever while sending her recipes for kale, the equivalent of miraculous wafers; and the doubtlessly interminable plaudits--even from conservatives--that will accompany her death, funeral and internment. All of which will be vehicles for the savaging of the conservative heresy and the very devil Donald Trump; all of which we can expect will outdo even John McCain's endless farewell.

Then, after either her death (or resignation), there will be a staged Senate hearing for her replacement, during which the evocation of St. Ruth's name and hallowed deeds will be a constant.

1 Very profound insight, Fay!

I am mindful of the Bible:

Daniel 11:37-28

Neither shall he regard the God of his fathers, nor the desire of women, nor regard any god: for he shall magnify himself above all.

But in his estate shall he honour the God of forces: and a god whom his fathers knew not shall he honour with gold, and silver, and with precious stones, and pleasant things.

End verses.

What is a god of forces? Military? And if so, what controls the military? Politics.

This is made clear in the Book of Revelation 13:

And I stood upon the sand of the sea, and saw a beast rise up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and upon his horns ten crowns, and upon his heads the name of blasphemy.

End verse.

It is often theorized by biblical scholars that the sea represents politics. The Beast pictured here represents the rise of a political figure or government. In Daniel 7:17 the prophet makes that clear:

"These great beasts, which are four,
are four kings, which shall arise out of the earth."

Daniel is a companion book to Revelation, and an understanding of Daniel is necessary to understanding Revelation.

What's my point? That the false religion of the end time will be politics, and the plagues of the end times will be drive by politics. And it is clear the Anti-Christ is a political leader, aided in his quest for power by the false prophet, a religious one. But what religion?

It appears to me that politics and religion are going to be indistinguishable, and in fact are in many ways right now. The Left, through their fascination with Monism aka the comingling of every aspect of life in a unity that they can control, has made everything political, tainted every aspect of human existence. This was what Mussolini meant by "totalitarian" as he himself said in his essay "what is Fascism". Tyrants of the past only sought power over behavior; the modern totalitarians seek power over thoughts and feelings and how we live and see things.
