"Experts say" (and are almost always wrong, prognostication is not science). Notice how the focus has been off the Arctic meltdown for some time, and shifted on to some unremarkable short lived Antarctic melt?

Anyway.. the experts said:

"you are probably looking at ice-fee summers by 2030. I’d call that a death sprital.”

"We see a tipping point occurring right before our eyes,” Hansen told the AP before the luncheon. "The Arctic is the first tipping point and it’s occurring exactly the way we said it would,”

And yet....

"There has been no trend in Arctic sea ice minimum, maximum or mean extent over the last 17 years."
