Russians hackers targeted Sen. McCaskill

The NY Post reports that:

Russian hackers reportedly set their sights on a Democratic senator from Missouri last year and tried infiltrating her 2018 re-election campaign â€” around the same time President Trump encouraged people to "vote her out.â€

A forensic analysis conducted by the Daily Beast found that Sen. Claire McCaskill was one of three congressional candidates to be targeted.

The website says it stumbled upon the attempted McCaskill hack while investigating statements made by a Microsoft executive last week during the Aspen Security Forum in Colorado.

1 I have my doubts about the veracity. It is coming from the left wing Daily Beast and McCaskll is in big trouble here so they desperately need to throw her some sort of lifeline. The fact is the Russians wouldn't nee to hack her - just run some ads against her. The claim would have them doing too much. You don't need to dig up dirt on Air Claire...
